'Orphan, the entity that had begun the fates of the L'cie, brought forth an Interloper from a world named Earth to defy the never ending cycle that was their world of 'Final Fantasy 13. Trials had awaited each member and all had succeeded but the Interloper, new to many things, had a role far greater than anyone could have imagined. Barthandelus made a risky move to inherit the powers of Lindsei's hound, unbeknownst to how that was possible, to travel through time and space in order to become the 'Saviour' of all worlds through the destruction of his world which, in turn, would cause a chain reaction to many other dimensions. We may be far apart but we share the same skies, no matter what.'

The Goddess, Etro, sat upon her crystal throne weak and tired from the fights she encountered with the dissipating stream of time becoming corrupted by the darkness. Her journal lay sprawled across the floor paper scattered and slowly burning in a small wave of fire, she let out a heavy sigh and looked at the dark skies looming over Valhalla.

"Even the darkest of hearts effect my domain, shadowing it in a void of darkness. Even when one's anger is surfacing it can be contained when their intentions are for the right reasons. Make the wise decision, my child, and overwhelm the evil with the light of your resolve." Etro lifts up a gauntlet hand to see it slowly fading away like sand, she closes her eyes feeling heavy and says softly to herself,

"Don't let the shadows ruin everyone's lives."

Omni POV:

Orphan was wounded as the light part of its being had a large gaping cavity near the area of where its left ear would be. Holding the crippled girl in its black glowing tendrils from the pool it surfaced from the being could feel the heat of Ragnarok approaching, the fiery glow becoming stronger with each passing second, even the party, still recovering from the nasty effects of 'Hell Bringer', could see it surfacing as well. Eyes glowing with satisfaction Orphan looked at the two Oerban women he carried from within Anima's domain and glared at them.

"Strange as to why I had given you two another chance to complete your focus when you failed from the beginning. I suppose fate had told me to do so, but now I can defy it!" Similar to the game Orphan brings an arm up and swings it letting out a great gust of wind knocking back Light, Snow, Hope and Sahz into the background leaving Fang and Vanille to stand alone. A tendril coils itself around Vanille's leg and then more shoots out of the grey pool and wrap around her wrists slowly bringing her off of the ground.

"Vanille!" Fang shouts toward the entangled red head trying in vain to break free. Another tendril makes itself known by slithering near Vanilles neck slowing wrapping itself a few times until it is firmly locked in place, like a Cobra ready to squeeze the life out of its victims.

"Fang..." The red head says softly fearing she would be choked if she spoke any louder.

"Let her go you sick bastard!" Fang shouted readying Malice to release a heavy blow of darkness but her threats were ignored with a simple 'tsk.'

"Unfortunately, my dear little huntress, your important friend here is a tool as well. Your anger has been swelling within you but she had always managed to keep it under lock and key, now I will free you of your fiery burden to add to the fire waiting to set out its destructive path!" Orphan then pulls the cord around Vanille's neck and it squeezes her throat tightly as spit flew from her lips in pain and surprise. Choking and forced gurgling came from the little red head as she struggled to break free, but merely hastens her demise much quicker.

"VANILLE!" Fang shouts in rage, her eyes become feral and charges head on toward Orphan. Jumping high into the air, her lance charged at full strength, a dark and grave shadow looming over her face making her appear more dangerous than before, makes her weapon come in contact with the ground, a crater suddenly erupts in a broad radius, with a powerful form of 'Highwind' takes form in a shadowy blast aiming toward the Fal'cie. The blast moved at an intense speed everything it its path became nothing, reducing to rubble at such high vibrations even Orphan felt it from within it. An idea came and he brought the interloper in front of him to shield himself from the attack. On instinct Mel looks at the attack, her eyes glowing deep scarlet red the white parts of her eyes glowing like fire, raises her remaining arm and absorbs the blast into herself welcoming the power to fuel her own rage.

"AAAAAGHGHGH!" The huntress screamed and charged again ready to attack in a melee fight. Coming in close Orphan attacked with more dark tendrils and shoots them quickly they pierced the earth when he missed. Vanille wasn't going to make it and Fang knew it so she had no other choice but to also become the beast, to take the Interlopers place for the sake of her friend. The rage that swelled from the ephemeral pits of her being began to surface the fiery glow around the crippled teen vanished instantly, fell from grace of the dark tendril like a rag doll, the snake like appendages fixed themselves to Fangs direction and ensnares her in their clutch in place of both Mel and Vanille.

" So you have finally decided to summon the demon within you, little one?" A smile reached from ear to ear on both faces of Orphan as the glow grew brighter.

"Then release yourself and revel in the dark power of Ragnarok! Destroy me and my wish shall be fulfilled! The end is nigh!" Orphan cries as he watches Fang slowly transforming. Her legs look as though hind hound legs that allows her to stand upright, her size becomes larger in defined slimmed muscles and in height, her clothes are burned away reduced to ashes as her body is enveloped in fire with most part of her body is protected with metal armor like skin. Once her body in completely enveloped in fire the light became too intense to look at even the Fal'cie looked away from pain, the tendrils release Fang whilst going up in smoke and the light disperses. Once everything is bearably visible just as the game Fang became Ragnorak, the beast she was created to become. Her stance looked like a predator ready to pounce as her form appeared to be more of an animal than the game itself!

"GGRRRAAAAAAOOWWW!" She bellowed and attacked. Movements much fiercer, much more swifter, a claw landed on Orphans barrier an cut through it like butter, she slashed again and the shield went up in flames burning it away. Orphan wasn't expecting she would get through so easily so he withdrew into the pool, submersing itself until it was gone, a devilish smile plastered on both faces as it went under. A barrier created itself around Ragnarok-Fang that she leapt inside chasing after her target, a great wave of grey matter splashed meters out of the pool and onto the ground. The glow slowly fading as she traveled down to the dark pits within.

The party woke up soon after to find Fang and Orphan gone. They all shook their heads from the bone splitting pain and stood. Looking around they all spotted Vanille and Mel near the edge of the pool waiting for something to happen. Light, Hope, Snow and Sahz limped toward the pair, noticing how much damaged had been dealt to them. As the four got close they saw the red head was crying her eyes out, they were puffy and red face stained with shedding tears.

"What happened while we were passed out?" Sahz asked, breaking the silence through Vanille's hysteric sobbing.

"Fang became Ragnarok and jumped in after Orphan. I don't know what's going to happen next, witnessing that even the end has changed greatly. But whatever the case we must be prepared for anything, something will happen I can feel it!" Mel replied in place of the red head, it was hard to comfort her when she saw Fang become the thing she feared, so she did her best to try.

"We? No way, Mel you're staying on the sidelines. It's a damn miracle that your still alive considering and being the way you are now you won't stand a chance against Orphan, should it resurface." Light says sternly as she tried to help the teen up to move her aside. Her hand reached out but Mel pushed it away.

"I don't need both legs to fight, I can hold my sword with one hand anyway. I can fly around and maneuver him, I have more than one mission and another promise to fulfill, Light, and crippled or not I'm seeing it through. I won't let even you stop me." Mel replied just as sternly as Soldier girl. Light looked a bit surprise but smiled a bit. She looked momentarily relieved before replying, in an even and soft tone,

"Good. Good to know you aren't giving up even with such fatalities."

A bright glow came from the pool and everyone stood at the ready, Vanille wiped her eyes and stood ready to with a much firmer stance as she was more than ready to fight. The glow grew brighter until a huge mesh of grey matter came through the surface of the pool, grey matter dripped from the blob and with every slow drop a ripple would form and a different scenery appeared. The floor became blue with white until the entire room became sky blue, everyone of them were standing in the sky over a vast deep blue ocean, and below them were seven islands that the interloper recognized in an instant.

"Hawai'i, Lana'i, Moloka'i, Maui, Ni'ihau, O'ahu, Kaua'i! That's!"

"Your homeland. Or at least one of them gave you birth, instead of taking the fight in our world let us battle in the world that created the window to our world. Let it collapse and everything goes with it! And, to make matters much more interesting, the entire fight will be broadcasted through the media of your whole world and Cocoon! Take a look, Interloper."

Orphan stood aside finally revealing itself but instead of a blade like being it became a humanoid knight wearing black and gold with white armor the size of a C'ieth called 'Geiseric' one of the Undying C'ieth. A great sword called 'Infinity' was held in its hand while a leash was held in the other, the one tied to it was none other than Fang. The party looked at the pair then to large screens surrounding them, half showing the onlooking expressions of the world of Earth while other screens showed different angles and viewpoints of the party with the enemy. Even most screens show the faces of the people from Cocoon as well. Soon half of the screens showed Orphans concealed mug with glowing violet and green eyes staring into the faces of the humans of this world making sure they were known.

"Greetings, slaves of time. I am Orphan, the Saviour of your world. I have come from the world known as 'Cocoon' to liberate your souls from the earthly chains that have bounded you to the abandonment of your God. All that stands between your freedom and retribution are these fools who stand against me, if the time the sun hits and is replaced by the moon the clouds above will disperse revealing the two worlds we hail from and the very thing that will free you from your miserable fates! The Maker will return to the worlds and shall grant us the key to our freedom at last! Those who stand against the freedom and gifts I offer shall die! And to make sure nothing goes unnoticed we shall take the battle here in the between worlds and let the destruction of our war scar both worlds as a reminder of what we have forced ourselves to do in order to survive." The screens returned to its former state and shows the expressions of the party and Orphan.

Mel, the first to move, ignored the screens and the looks that was held within them. Her eyes were dead locked on Orphan and Fang who was forced to bear the weight of the world on her shoulders, the girl looked skyward to see that Cocoon was there and 'above' it was Gran Pulse in a mirrored fashion. She sighed and chanted.

"Wings of Light and Dark spread far and wide and beat the squalling gales of the worlds. Bearing witness to the never ending cycle of blood and war shine and bring forth the treasures of the falling feathers so peace may befall upon the field. I ask of thee, grant me the power of flight!" Auras of black and white encircle around the interloper until they disperse and shows she bears her wings of light and shadow once again, beating rhythmically to keep her aloft. The party joins her and is finally ready, the battle between the two worlds shall now commence. The tension rises as the confusion and concern weighs down even the heavens once the battle has finally begun.

Battle Sequence Commencing:

Salutaris, the name the libra spell had revealed, released his hold on the leash he put on Ragnarok-Fang and kicked her ahead to fight for him. Both reluctant and hateful Fang replied with a heavy grunt and a powerful slam to the battlefield with both hands creating a seismic wave of fire and wind hurling toward the group. Snow carried Vanille and Sahz on his Gesalt mode Eidolon while Lightning carried Hope on Odin, Mel flew into the air to dodge the sudden attack.

"Hostem ferire in caput!" (Strike the enemy head on!) Salutaris(Savior in latin) commanded and Fang obliged. Standing in pouncing stance Fang leaps toward the on coming motorbike, Snow lets go of a clutch and swings his arm forward like hes rolling an object. Ice stalagmites erupt from the 'ground' toward Fang, bobbing and weaving out of the way the ice moved like a heat seeking missile following Fang's movements wherever she went. An ice Golem appeared from the pointed icy deathtraps and swung both arms arms downward on top of the former Huntress with a deafening 'THUD!'

"Snow! You'll hurt her if you keep that up!" Vanille pleaded to the blond man who met her pleas with a short silence.

"We have to try and draw her out of whatever state she's in, Vanille. If we don't we won't be able to get Fang, the Fang that traveled into hell with us, back from Orphan's control. We have to pray that with our efforts she can bust herself free." Vanille held fast to the trench coat trying to let the words sink in but when she saw Fang get back up again charging and Sazh firing his 'Cold Blood' attack, while making contact, Vanille shed silent tears for she understood what must be done.

"Okay, Snow, you're right. Fang, please forgive us." Vanille let go of Snow's coat and brought out her Belladona wand and sent the cords flying, the hooks caught Fang by her legs and arms that by pulling she fell on her face and skid across the 'ground.' Struggling to break free Fang looked at the bike, not even a few feet away, fiercely she opens her mouth wide and a huge blast of air is produced and aims for the bike. Surprised by the attack, and in such a close range, Snow tries to steer Shiva to take evasive action but the blast comes too fast and destroys Nix's leg completely it exploded and sends the trio into a spiraling motion backwards they are crushed a few times from the force of the blast plus the explosion and decimation of the Eidolons leg. Before coming to a final brutal halt Snow managed to shove Sahz and Vanille off of the Eidolon to save them from the crash and in a single swift motion the retired pilot summons his own Eidolon that transformed upon summoning, catches the red head to sit behind him and drives toward their immobile friend.

"Hope, do it now!" Lightning calls from Odin as she steers their way to Salutaris. Hope stands behind Light, using Soldier girls shoulder to keep himself balanced and aims his free hand toward the distracted armored enemy. Salutaris continues to swing his sword sideways deflecting every energy wave sent from Mel's new blade to even notice the duo coming, Hope manages to summon his most powerful spell of 'Last Resort' and the waves of magic shot towards Salutaris like lightning flashing. Without moving his eyes away from the winged enemy, and not losing his rhythm of swinging his blade, Orphan brings one hand up to his left and absorbs the summoned magic that was nearly as big as a Swvorg times ten in a black abyss. Not even a second later the blast he took in shot back towards Hope and Light that Odin didn't have enough time to revert to its human like form to block with Ullr's shield. The blast, insanely powerful, hit Odin right in the head its helm was obliterated and so was its face; similar to Nix's leg it was damaged beyond repair and recognition the only thing left it could do was return to Valhalla since he could no longer aid his master in battle in his current form it was the best way to help before returning home.

"ODIN!" Light shouts as she watches her Eidolon turn to a green mist and head skyward past the clouds upon its quick defeat, shock and rage welled up from within Lightning that she summoned Odin's twin blades at will she charged at a much quicker speed even the Fal'cie was surprised by it.

"HAAAAA!" She roared as a blade swung itself near Orphans head it made a dent in its helm, the second blade came after the Fal'cies abdomen it didn't have time to block the armor took the deafening blow with a thunderous clang the impact sent Orphan skidding on its heels smoke erupted from under its boots it didn't stop skidding until it tripped over the tangled Fang who finally freed herself from Vanille's wand about ten meters away. The two collided and Orphan became angered beyong belief he turned his head towards Fang and socked her in the head with the butt of his blade.

"You pathetic slave! Maybe this should make you change your mind about being so incompetent! Observe, 'Ragnorak!" Orphan shouted and raised a hand towards Lightning as she charged with every fiber of her being, a dark wave of energy was released from its hand and and created shackles of dark matter chaining themselves to Lights wrists and ankles she fell from her attack in seconds and was locked in place into the ground. Orphan turned his attention to Hope as he charges on the back of Alexander who, in turn, shoots his fist at the Fal'cie. With just a singe twitch of his eye Orphan sliced through the attack without drawing his blade and chained the pair to the ground in a swift motion.

"Grahowl!" Fang cried in her changed state, she was becoming more aware than before now she is trying to fight for control but was swept back to the end of her darkened mind.

"Fang! Keep fighting! Don't stop!" Vanille cried again as Sahz steered Brythilder to Light, Hope and Alexanders aid. In the process Orphan catches sight of the two and aimed the similar attack to chain them down. Sahz swerved and steered with control but a lone shackle with a spiked ball at the end grazed Brythilders back tire and destroyed it in a brief explosion. Brythilder turned back to its first form and caught the two L'cie in his arm and kneeled down to the ground to put them on their feet. The Eidolon breathed heavily and pulled out its weapon and lunged toward Orphan. Orphan drew its blade and deflected the attack, Brythilder attacked slashing in every known direction and failing to land a fatal enough blow to hurt Orphan. Orphan deflects against an abdominal swing, parries the blade and opens its claw shaped gauntlet hand and pierces through the Eidolons chest plate until wisps and great amounts of lifestream energy is released and takes Brythilder back to Valhalla like Odin.

"Not even the great warriors of the Gods can withstand my new power. And now, mere L'cie..." Orphan looks at the restrained party with a smirk and raised its blade to the sky.

"This is where we part ways. You have fought valiantly but in the end your efforts have been proved futile. Goodbye my dear pawns, in the next life all souls shall return to the embers of oblivion!" Shadows appeared from above to become a dark force that twisted matter it became sharp and blunt weapons of torture. Energy ran through each of the artillery and aimed at the party members. Orphan swung its arm downwards until it stopped midway, the energy shot at lightning speed ready reap the souls of its prey until;

"Not on my count you damn Bastard!"

The energies exploded in an instant creating a dark cloud of purple and gold electricity and smoke, the voice vanished and the cloud swirled in the air until it disappeared in the blade owned by Mel which Fang was clenching the hilt in between her jaws.

"What!?" Orphan shouted in rage.

"How the hell did you defend that blow!? It could eliminate anything it touched." Orphan cried in anger clearly disturbed and confused by the after effects. Mel flew down from the skies and landed beside Fang wearing the armor( Armor in chapter four but with an open overcoat of an assassin from assassins creed) bestowed upon her by Etro. Mel's eyes were determined and hard set on Orphan they burned like fire.

"No more talk, Orphan! This time... I'll shut that wide trap of yours for good!" Mel threatened as she cracked her neck a little and stood ready with her blade. Orphan growled and stood in a fencing fighting position. Mel charged and swung her blade upwards parrying with Orphans blade, she spun on her heel and brought a roundhouse kick to the head to be grabbed by the shin and flown across the floor. The interloper recovered and rushed at her opponent. While Orphan stood ready he sent beams of thin energy firing from the tip of its sword, dodging and trying her best to evade each attack while she flew Mel made sure the attacks freed her friends and, like she wanted it to be, the energy destroyed the shackles that bounded her friends and they were all able to fight again.

"Damn it!" He bellowed as he was about to use Hell Bringer again but Fang managed to break free from her burden of Ragnorak, finally fighting the hatred she held for Cocoon and turned back to normal, and used her fists to copy Snows "Sovereign Fist" attack and caught Orphan right on the base of his spine. A thunderous 'CRACK!' erupted from the fal'cie white gold blood flew from beneath its helm. Fang was just getting started. Using the waning strength from Ragnorak the huntress slams Orphan into the ground the ocean from earth began to sway with a storm and the ground from Gran Pulse started to lift from a huge earthquake. The previous fights before the battle had destroyed cities from around the world and a great tsunami was now headed toward the Hawaiian islands and towards the U.S. on all fronts, basically ready to engulf the whole world in water.

"Holy shit, Fang!" Mel cried as her face turned pale while watching the power of destruction ready to kill millions of people in her own world and she was feeling helpless since she didn't have a power to put a stop to it.

"I got this." A voice said. Next to the interloper moved a figure, they swayed and danced gracefully while their body was enveloped in pure bright light it seemed like the spirit dance from 'The legends of Korra', the waves looked like they hit the coast lines of each state and countries but did minimum damage than it would have done if this figure didn't intervene. As the light that surrounded the figure dimmed down to nothing familiar armor appeared as that same stoic face came into view but that didn't mean her shining mimicking cerulean eyes were full of relief and hope.

"Eidolon Light..." Mel said softly. It was incredibly strange seeing her Eidolon again ever since the incident from Oerba. This Lightning smiled at her 'master' and welcomed her friend warmly with a hug.

"I saw the damage that had been caused to Odin and Brythilder as they returned home through the life stream so I decided to help since I managed to recover from that fight that sent me back to Valhalla. And it seemed that my 'mother' wanted me back into the fight, so here I am." Not giving the interloper time to talk Eidolon Light lets her go and summons her own weapon. Her shield was worn in the same place as it should be but her sword looked similar to Dragonbond from 'Dragons Age- Awakening' but the blade face had runes embedded of Etro and the same design of Odin's twin blades. Stunned but happy Mel hovered beside her partner and said,

"Its great to have you back, Light." Smirking in return Eidolon Light replied,

"I've been dying to come back, Mel!" Eidolon Light replies with a pearly white smile, a genuine smile the real Lightning displays at the end.

Recovering from her state Fang shakes her head and runs over to Vanille. Fang looks down at her frail form tears begin to form, this was all her fault and she knew it. Holding her closest friend dearly Fang's tears escape her eyes willingly.

"I shouldn't have done this... I should have just stood ready beside you guys and fought!" Gasping for air or for the right words Fang blinks her eyes to let the tears flow and began to vent her feelings on the little red head that looks up at the huntress with comforting green eyes.

"Fang.." Vanile began but was cut off less than a second after.

"NO! Don't try to console me, 'Nille! This is my fault, the pain and destruction I caused is the results of my actions. And everyone of you is paying the price for it!" Fang shouted in guilt her heart cramped and ached terribly. Vanille snakes her arms to comfort her friend and says soothingly to her,

"It doesn't matter who is the one at fault, Fang. Whatever happened happened, but that doesn't mean we can't prevent the unspeakable end that will soon follow if we remain stagnant and we need you to be strong for us. Please." Fang opened her eyes and looked up, Lightning and Hope and Snow and Sahz stood before the pair all bloody and beaten up. Like in the game Light held out her hand to the huntress, reluctant but willing to accept, was pulled up to her feet with the Healer next to her, Farron held Malice and waited for the owner to accept it. This time absolute about wanting to make things right Fang took up her weapon again nodding her head in response Light did the same. Hope and Vanille healed everyone again til they had their strength back, Sahz and Snow buffed the party to increase their defenses and offenses, Lightning and Fang cracked their knuckles and stood ready as they survey the fight between Mel, Eidolon Light vs Orphan. Orphan was slowing down parts of its armor was breaking down or scattered, the same could be said for Mel and Eidolon Light but they looked ready to collapse from the fight.

Standing in front of the group Light raised her weapon and charged.

"Lets go!" And they joined the fray.

Orphan was tired but determined though its body couldn't keep up with its resolve.

Mel charged and suddenly knocked Orphans blade out of its grip with the support of her Eidolon, Eidolon Light swings her sword downwards in an arc motion armor was ripped to shreds scattering against the ground alabaster marble skin sculpted to the body of the 'perfect' warrior was shown underneath. Eidolon Light bent down to be on her knees and her 'master' had a hand on her shoulder using her arm as a support beam and swung her body around in a roundhouse kick to the jaw. Orphan went down but the pair stood side to side arms raised up and summoned a very powerful 'Aeroga' when it came in contact with the Fal'cie a huge gust of wind was conjured, much more powerful than anything in history had ever recorded, engulfed the enemy and had little to no power to escape the destructive gale.

"NO! I shall not lose now!?" Orphan bellowed as blood and armor was thrown out of the gale and splattered against the battlefield. Mel and her Eidolon looked behind them and saw their friends coming to put an end to this fight once and for all.

"Do it!" The two shouted simultaneously. Lightning ran to Mel who grabbed SOLDIER girl by her forearm and shucked her towards the swirling vortex, Fang came next and Eidolon Light raised her shield up to let Fang on and pushed all of her power to send her flying, Vanille summoned Hecatoncheir using that beasts power to send Snow up leaving her, Hope and Sahz to summon magic instead of going in a close combat fight. Entering the gale the three were met with deep gashes but endured. Orphan felt their presence and blocked but with no armor, but its helm, protecting it from harm it was over.

"Thunder Fall! Take this!" Lightning shouted spinning in the air reversing the wind around her to disperse and lightning appeared from thunder clouds, Fang readied her Highwind attack and smirked as her weapon came down at a blinding speed a hole the size of the blade at the end of her lance appeared precisely in the center of Oprhans chest, Snow was right behind the huntress with his Soveriege fist charged up to its maximum power ice was forming below the storm a blizzard took place instead.

"HAAAAAA!" Snow shouted and his fist struck Orphan in the abdomen, the force sending the two down toward the ground at a comet speed if Eidolon Light wasn't there the wold would have exploded to dust! A huge explosion came from the impact now the Fal'cie knew what it was like to feel crippled, to feel helpless beyond the measure it imagined from crippling the pulse slaves he created.

"DAMN YOU SLAVES OF LINDZIE!" Orphan croaked as its eyes met Vanille, Hope and Sahz standing together with their magic energy combining into a flurry of color.

"RAGNORAK SALVO!" The trio shouted and released the spell, it was a rainbow of color both beautiful and dangerous. The attack named after the beast of hate that tore the worlds asunder and, coincidently, after a similar attack from 'Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.' Like missiles upon meeting Orphan wave after wave of color erupted from contact and left a great opportunity to finish this with an attack the interloper had been, metaphorically, dying to try out.

"You sure you want to do this attack, Mel?" Eidolon Light confidently with a hand on the teens shoulder. Mel looked down at her left arm and the sparks came to life from her scars the girl couldn't help but smile in satisfaction.

"Yeah, time to give this bastard a taste of what he had done to bring me here with this power he no longer uses. Mind if I call it something though? The attack?" Mel looks at her Eidolon then to the real Lightning, the look a likes look at each other and back to the girl nodding in approval. Mel smiled and replaced it with an angry calm look at glided to Orphan. She was a few feet away and stared down at Orphan as it looked up at the one before it with a more fed and nurtured hate.

"That power I gave you will be the death of you and your world! You interloping Bitch!" Orphan gasped as it twitched and spasmed out of control from its deformed and broken form. Mel raised her arm skywards and storm clouds came to her once more, she felt a heavy responsibility wash over her but if she didn't finish this thing off or let anyone else do it Orphan will come back somehow, since this world no longer follows the game logic anymore, and finish what it started.

"If this power I have will one day kill me I will welcome death as a dear friend. At least when I die I will have people around me who care about me as I would them, you were a heartless and abandoned child throwing a terrible tantrum to call your parent back. Which is something I understand, abandonment."

"What would you know about being abandoned for so many years with your only purpose is to care for man kind being our creators second born with a responsibility you could never hope to comprehend!?" Orphan spoke again in the same cracked and rigid voice. Mel's arm sparked and crackled like lightning flashing indicating a storm was drawing near but since Orphan was on deaths door might as well finish the conversation before she ends it. For what reason? Even she didn't know why she answered the thing that sought to murder so many lives from its own world and her own.

"I was abandoned by my own parents. They promised me they would come back and left me with their friends since I had no other living relatives to watch me while I was growing up. My first week I lived with my parents friends and their daughter, a few years older than me, it was amazing. But as the years passed my parents never wrote to me or called and my 'guardians' started to hate me they tried to abandon me on the streets but their own child grew attached to me they were basically forced to keep me with her. I felt so much hate I wanted to blame the world and the Maker that left us there in our world, but the girl who grew attached to me showed me how to care, how to rise up from my bitterness with a gentle smile and caring eyes. She showed me how to feel appreciated and she showed me how to feel again, if she was similar to her parents I think I would have been like you grew up angry and go around killing people and end up in jail or worse dead on the streets forgotten. Maybe if you were loved more you would have understood, Orphan." Mel had said as when she finally finished sympathy swelled in her heart as she thought about it.

"Longing to be with our parents can lead people to do crazy things. But it doesn't excuse the damage you had brought to either worlds! So, Orphan, this is farewell."

The skies ripped open and lightning flashed dangerously close and dangerously bright. Orphan watched it and sighed, coughing up blood.

"I will never understand you pitiful humans. And so I shall leave myself in the cloud of ignorance even till my final moments."

Mel closed her eyes and opened them her expression became intense as her eyes flashed electric blue like lightning itself coursed through her brain and flowed into her eyes. She brought her arm down and raised her voice to summon the attack that brought her here from her world only she just renamed it.

"Lightnings Embrace!"

And just like that the menacing force crashed and crackled welcoming its prey to oblivion. When the storm finished there were no traces that Orphan existed.

The sky turned white and the party returned to Cocoon outside Eden, Lightning and Snow and Hope and Mel and Eidolon Light were levitating upwards with crystal fragments surrounding them.

"Stay together!" Lightning shouted over a loud noise as the six reached and held each others hand from being separated. Everyone looked down for some reason to find Fang and Vanille were below them ready to become the true Ragnarok.

"Fang! Vanille!" Snow cried as he tried to reach out to them in vain.

Fang looked at Vanille peacefully and asked in a tone that would want to make you rethink yourself but Vanille trusted the huntress and nodded.

"Yeah. I'm ready, I don't have any regrets, Fang. This is my atonement and I'm thankful for everything that had happened." The huntress smiles and nods in agreement to her friends answer and the two became enveloped in light and when they emerged from the energy field they became the true Ragnorak. Moving swift, gracefully and intensely quick toward the falling Cocoon they caught it In their combined form, and like the game, turned to pure crystal and became the structure of peace and stability as the pillar that connects the two worlds together similarly to Snow and Serahs engagement necklaces.

On Gran Pulse the party were crystal, like the legends said they completed their focus and were rewarded with eternal life. Mel found it funny to how her question of what it was like to sleep in crystal was answered like this, the feeling was safe and the weight of worry and uncertainty basically everything washed away that the only feeling that remained was a warm feeling that you can finally rest your head and that once your eyes closed and drew your final breath the world will forever be saved while you remain asleep in bliss and feel forever happy. No drug or alcohal could ever mimic the feeling.

"Wake up" A voice, eternally stunning to the ears, rang through Mel's thoughts and when she could open her eyes Cocoon was held fast with crystal and she was free from her two minutes of crystal sleep. Dropping on her back, using wind magic to keep her from cracking her skull open, the interloper finally felt relieved and a huge burden was lifted off of her whole being.

"Finally. It's finally over." Sitting up and watching the sun set in the distance two figures could be seen, squinting her eyes to look it was Serah and Dahj reuniting with their loved ones. Mel got up, dusted herself off, and hopped over to the party. She got there in time to see the real Lightning smile and give approval to Serah and Snow to marry with her blessing. Everyone turned to her and welcomed the teen to the conversation. Serah stepped up and raised her hand up,

"Hi, I'm Serah! You're Mel, right? From what my sister and my fiancé had said briefly you really are something to watch out for huh?" Mel looks at the smaller pinknette and shook her hand with a smile on her face.

"Nice to finally meet you, Serah. Your family and their friends mean a lot to me too! I'm glad to have met them and you."

"So... You staying for the wedding, right?" Snow says slowly, almost awkwardly, to the teen as a massive hand patted the interloper on the back Light had to catch the teen from falling on her face. Using her as support Mel's face turned bright pink and looked to the ground.

"Ugh! This feel so weird! I don't know why but it does! Too close contact, too close contract!" Mel groaned but everyone laughed. The laughter died down as the sphere of gold light appeared out of nowhere and placed itself before the group.

"You have performed your duty well here, Interloper. You have exceeded my expectations beyond measure and now I shall reward you for your efforts." The sphere spoke as it pulsates from talking. Mel knew it was Etro and everyone around her picked up on the heavy feeling of being in a powerful presence.

"The gifts I bear upon you will remain in this world and will carry over to your own world, since you had finished your task in this world it is time to return you to where you belong." Mel let go of Light and floated toward the sphere looking stern. She cleared her throat and said nonchantly,

"What if I don't want to return home?"

Etro was silent for a while and spoke equally serious.

"You no longer hold a pact with me until you are further needed. The memories of this world will remain with you as your gifts. Please, Interloper, understand my reasons. If you remain here the worlds your party and myself reside in will not be strong enough to recover, it is best to return whence you came."

Mel was sad and reluctant, she didn't want to leave but she has to stay true to herself and to her word to the goddess.

"I understand, I will go home. But, will I see everyone again?"

"In the near future as you see this dilemma before you will not last very long. Since time in your world differs from our own I can safely say you will return to your second home sooner than you think."

Mel smiled at that thought and nodded, maybe she does have something worth looking forward to when the time comes.

"Now your gifts: your lost limbs will be replaced with mechanical appendages that will move and feel as if the limbs made of flesh and blood, they will never break or wear or tear the metal is indestructible compared to the 'dangers' of your world. Second, as I said before your powers will carry over and so your magic, experience and such will be implanted within your memory for eternity. And finally the final gift. The power that Barthandelus had to 'cross over dimensions' belong to you. It seemed my story proved wrong for Lindzies hound blessed the world with its power to a chosen guardian to keep the peace between dimensions unless the worlds open to you and you open to it, it was never meant to have a purpose for destruction but stability." Once Etro said it the gifts appeared and Mel stood tall with pride trying her best to hide her sadness. A portal appeared and within the void was a vision of the interlopers world where her true friends and family were.

"Now, go. For time, no matter how far it is, will never break the bonds you have forged with the people of this world for they are eternal." The light drew its final words and disappeared. The portal remained and Mel stared at it for what seemed like an eternity.

"You should go home, Mel. Your own older sister is waiting for you, praying you come back to her safely."Lightning says soothingly Mel almost flinched from the words.

"Your right, I should go home but I'm afraid that if I wake up I'll forget about everything that we went through to get to this point." Mel replied sounding afraid than calm. Light hugged the girl for comfort and smiled.

" Like that ball of light said, we will never forget each other and we will see each other again. Have faith in us for that much." Light was followed by Hope then Serah and Snow, Sahz and his son. For once in a long time Mel had cried, whether it was happiness or sadness she cried and she felt good about it even though it must of made her look really childish. When the group pulled away Mel wiped her eyes and smiled, she looked at the crystal tower and grinned. Taking a final look at this world she is departing Mel sighed, looked to the portal and walked towards it.

"We will see each other. That's a promise, a promise of a reunion." And stepped into the light and never left anything behind her for everything she had been given and learned will make her stronger no matter where she goes.

Earth:

Groggily Mel opened her eyes and saw blurry white, she looked around and felt very uncomfortable in the new setting she found herself in. When her vision focused sitting beside her with red puffy eyes and tear stained face was Claire, her own older sister.

"Mel!" She cried and hugged her sister happily she was suffocating her. Mel let out a quick gasp of shock and coughed from the tight embrace Claire immediately lets go and sits up afraid she hurt the girl.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry! She cried in shock. Mel coughed a bit but waved it off.

"It's okay, say where am I, Claire? Wait, Claire?" Mel looks at her sister and tears came rolling down her eyes again. A smile formed and she hugged Claire back but with such strength the brunette almost passed out. Seeing she isn't moving Mel lets go and her eyes widen comically big from the results of her new strength.

"No! Sis! Don't leave me!" She shouted but Claire laughed and hugged her little sister back.

"I'm so, so, happy to have you back, Mel! If you didn't come home I wouldn't know what I'd do without you." Claire cried as the two embraced, it was great to be back home it was like ages since Mel had left but it seemed like a few months had passed since she arrived to Cocoon.

"What happened while I was gone?" The androgen asked as she reached for a glass of water. Claire shifted uncomfortably in her seat that she reached for the remote to the tv and flipped it on. The news played footage of the battle from earlier Mel did a spit take on the rug, there were a few times when her face was shown and the news caster had put it up in the most wanted screen.

"Since this video played everyone and I mean literally everyone is looking for you so with the help of our commanding officer we moved from our old home and moved to the states, you know the Mainland. So we have to lay low until this blows over" Claire had explained as calmly as she could but even she couldn't understand what she watched moments ago. Mel took the news rather well but felt a twinge of sadness that she didn't say goodbye to Lily and Brandon before returning home. The once interloper stood to her feet and heard metal, she looked at her leg and arm to see the ones she lost were replaced with metal ones and the scars on her left arm were still there. On the nearby counter were the gifts that Lightning, Hope and Vanille gave her before the final battle.

"Living away from our home by moving to the mainland, being wanted by so many people whether its for good or bad reasons, and might have to redo my junior year again in a different high school is definitely something I can handle." Mel said confidently that Claire had to blink a lot to see if this girl was her sister.

"We'll see about that. Besides after you disappeared your high school understood about what happened to you and said that if you came back safely they would let you become a Senior once the next school year comes around, lucky you! You'll only be seventeen when you graduate, huh?" The older brunette says with a smile and leaned her head on her sisters shoulder. Mel looked at her sister and raised her eyebrow in confusion,

"What are you doing, Sis?" The younger brunette asked. The older one looked up and laid her head down again.

"I don't want you to disappear again. Please, don't ever leave me again..." Was her response. Mel sighed and closed her eyes leaning her head against her sisters head. It was funny that Claire didn't notice a lot of things different about her sister but that would be something for her to worry about another day. As the two closed their eyes Mel spotted a picture frame with a new picture on the nightstand close by and smiled. Tired of all that had happened Mel felt truly happy and relished the feeling in her dreams. The picture she had seen before falling asleep was a picture, a genuine photograph, of Lightning, Serah, Snow, Hope, Sahz, Dajh, Eidolon Light and the crystal pillar in the background holding Vanille and Fang posing in the picture with Mel there somehow smiling with them had a message with the picture.

'When things look dark turn to the light that surrounds you, keep hope strong and we will always find our way back to each other. Farewell, Friend.

A/N: oh, man... I really don't know what I have to say about this. Looking back at the beginning to get to the end I feel like I have nothing to say.
