This is my first Sherlock Holmes story ever! I did it based on the 2009 movie by Guy Ritchie because I love Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law as Holmes and Watson!. :)

Watson sighed heavily. He was clearly upset.

Of course he appreciated Mrs. Hudson's work in the house by always keeping it clean and constantly fighting with Holmes because he always manage to ruin her work.

But this, it was different. Yes, her intentions were good, but this... was totally unnecessary.

Please Mrs. Hudson.

He looked down to his friend, who was watching him with does big brown eyes of his. He sighed once more. "Why do you seem to be so upset, Watson?" Asked the Great Detective, completely oblivious.

"Holmes..." They stared at each other for a moment "In case you didn't notice, we're under a mistletoe."

"My dear Watson, you got really good deduction capability." The smaller man said, with a grin. Watson said nothing, ignoring Sherlock's attempt to make a joke.

"Holmes!" He said once more, he didn't have time for this.

"What do you expect me to do, Watson?" Holmes said, tilting his head slightly to the right, still looking at the doctor innocently.

"I expect, Holmes, for you to think of a clever way to get us out of this... predicament."

"Clever? Um, let's see..." He said, glancing at Watson and looking around the room. After a few moments he spoke again.

"No, Watson, there's only one way out." He said, smiling at his friend. Watson sighed.

"Let's just... " His cheeks were slightly pink, he knew Sherlock enjoyed annoying him. "Let's get this done so I can go, and you go back to do... whatever you were doing." He said, swallowing, closing his eyes and leaning down

"Wait, Watson!" Holmes says, so he stops halfway.

"What?" He asked, hoping his friend has found a way of avoid the truly awkward moment between the two. "I just... had to tell you how adorable you look right now." Now, he really didn't had time for this, he pulled Holmes in for a short kiss.

A short, but sweet kiss. It was just a peck on the lips, but it made both men blush.

"Uh, I- I have to... " Watson started, moving away a little from Holmes.

"You can go, Watson." The man said, looking away as the other nods and walks out of the room.

Well, that was...

"I don't wish to talk about it!" He said, when Mrs. Hudson asked why he was blushing "But, by the way, Mrs. Hudson, you didn't have to put a mistletoe over our front door!"

The Landlady looked at him confused but he continues;

"I'm sorry, my intentions aren't to offend, but next time put it somewhere else, please." He said, opening the door to leave, the lady didn't response

"I'm sorry, Dr. Watson, what-"

"Doesn't matter anymore, Mrs. Hudson. Excuse me, I've got to go." He said, smiling and closing the door as he leaves the house.

"Mistletoe?" She asks herself, turning away from the door and going back to the house cleaning.

"Look at that..." Holmes smirked, getting the mistletoe off the door and holding it in his hands. A triumphant smirk on his face. "It did work!"
