As promised, now that I finished the invasion, here is some new stuff for the mini chapters. I really don't want these to go over 10 chapters at the most. It may help to read up on the previous chapter and some of the chapters around 15 in FXZ if you need a refresher on what's happening, it's my story and I had to.

Chapter 2

Videl agreed to take a day off before school, and the day seemed to go by like a flash for Gohan. Between training his brother and figuring out how he wanted to go about hunting Glove, he was pretty busy. Monday morning landed in the city limits of Satan City as normal and started walking into town. He was walking through Erasa's neighborhood when he spotted her and Bade walking not too far ahead of him.

"Hey guys wait up!" Gohan yelled jogging lightly to catch up to them. They both turned when they heard a familiar voice and greeted him in their own way when he caught up to them.

"Bade, I thought you weren't going to school anymore since you're working with Bulma?" Gohan asked.

"True, but I'm just walking Erasa to school then I'm going to West City," the Tuffle answered.

"I told him I'd be fine, but he insists on it anyway. Either way we're meeting Sharpener to get a bite to eat before school, want to join us?"

Gohan contemplated it for a minute. He already ate breakfast at home this morning, not to mention he didn't really have the time or money to eat another meal.

"I'll pass this time, thanks though," Gohan said sheepishly, "Is Videl going to be there?"

"That goes without being said," Erasa said with a giggle.

"So Bade, did you have any prediction on Glove again?" Gohan asked.

Bade thought in contemplation for a minute before saying, "Well, they're pretty much out of business in Paw City. I'm guessing they are just going to cut their losses there and continue their streak across the rest of the world. They lost a substantial amount of money as well as manpower in Paw City so they'll need to be doing some sort of recruiting for a while. I give them a month of small crime like muggings while they bring more people in before they make another large-scale crime."

Gohan nodded and thought, 'A whole month before anything happens? I can't wait that long, but maybe I can stem their little recruiting drive.'

Soon the teens reached the café and Erasa said her goodbye to Bade who took off in a capsule copter towards West City. Not before the skinny teenager said hello to Sharpener and Videl who came walking out to meet their friends.

"So Bade is liking his new job? We never really see him anymore," Videl asked.

"He's loving it," Erasa answered with a smile.

"He's got to be making a ton of money working as a research scientist for Capsule Corp.," Sharpener said pointing out the obvious.

"He does, but he gives most of it to the family."

"That's good, you parents deserve it," Videl said with a smile. She then turned to Gohan and said, "Can I show Erasa and Sharpener what I've been learning?"

"How about after school? How would it look for Videl Satan to be using phony tricks?" Gohan said with a chuckle.

Videl gave Gohan a look before smiling a little and the four started to walk to school. Just as they entered the school Videl pulled Gohan aside into a side hallway where no one was. Before he could object she said, "I've got you figured out…Saiyaman."

Gohan felt his heart thump a little faster before pulling at his collar and saying, "What do you mean Videl?"

"Gohan, you don't think I'm stupid do you?" Videl asked raising an eyebrow, "The night that strange guy shows up at your house, another superhero shows up in Paw City. One that is your height, build, and even slightly sounds like you."

Gohan sighed before conceding, "Yeah you got me, I figured since Bade is so good at predicting Glove's actions that I can use him to try and fight them on a global scale."

"It's a good plan, I guess," Videl said.

"You aren't angry?" Gohan asked confused.

"Why would I be?" Videl asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I don't know, you don't like people keeping secrets from you," Gohan said sheepishly waving his hands in front of him. Videl just shrugged and the two went on with their usual school day.

Once school ended, Gohan, Videl, Erasa, and Sharpener all went back to Gohan's so that Videl could show them what she learned. As soon as the jet copter they were all in landed, the teens stepped out and Videl re-capsulized the vehicle. Gohan then yelled, "Get down!"

The teens dropped just as twenty small marble came flying at them from the left and right at breakneck speeds aimed right at Gohan. He caught them all in both his hands and then flicked them back at the half-pint marksmen hiding in the trees. The two half-Saiyan children fell out of their respective trees and landed on the ground with a thud.

The teens stood back up and saw that Trunks was the first to come out of the woods to their right. His arms were crossed and he was pouting as there were welts on his arms from the marbles and one right in the middle of his forehead. Goten was next to come out to their left, he was running out of the woods laughing despite having similar welts on his arms and one dead center in his forehead like his partner in crime.

"That wasn't funny guys, you could've hurt my friends," Gohan said trying to be serious yet restraining himself from laughing at the bulls eyes on the two boys foreheads.

"Sorry big brother we didn't plan on them coming, we spend the whole afternoon planning this out," Goten said with a bit of a grin.

"You'll have to try harder than that I guess," Gohan said with a bit of a chuckle before turning to Trunks and asking, "Are you ok Trunks? You guys hit the ground pretty hard."

"Yeah, we're fine Gohan. I'm just thinking of how I'm going to finally get you," Trunks said with a grin and crossed arms. Gohan returned the grin before turning to his friends and saying, "Sorry about that guys, how about we go over to the training field and we can see how far Videl has come."

As they were walking Gohan decided to give a disclaimer, "So I don't have to remind you both that what I've been training Videl in is supposed to be a secret. So what happens in the mountains stays in the mountains, got it?"

The two blondes nodded before they continued to walk deeper in the woods. Once they reached the field they saw Goten and Trunks land in the middle of the field in front of them. Sharpener stuttered back a little as the memory of Trunks jumping 20 feet in the air before trying to drop kick him was still fresh. Erasa snickered a little and kept walking.

"Okay guys, you know the drill, go hide," Gohan said to the boys. They went running different directions into the woods. Videl looked over at Gohan who simply tossed two pebbles in her direction.

"Wait, what's she going to do?" Erasa asked confused.

"Just watch," Gohan said proudly. Videl then closed her eyes and threw a pebble in a direction different than the boys ran.

"She got me!" Goten yelled running out of the woods with the same pebble in his hand and another mark on his arm.

"Where's Trunks?" Videl asked confused.

"He's suppressing his energy well, you just have to sense harder. Actually I'll give you a hint, he's in the field. So you can use an energy blast," Gohan said with a smirk.

Videl nodded and started to hover in the air.

"Wow, she's doing it!" Erasa squealed in delight.

"She's, she's flying!" Sharpener exclaimed.

"Let her focus," Gohan instructed.

Videl closed her eyes again and started to sense a faint energy hiding behind a rock. She then fired an energy blast at the rock, revealing a surprised Trunks.

"Wow, that's amazing Videl," Erasa told her best friend as she floated back down to the ground.

"Thanks, it's taken a while but it's worth it," Videl said with a smile. An hour passed of Videl showing her friends her skills flying and shooting energy blasts before they had to go back home.

"Well, I'll see you guys tomorrow," Gohan said waving as his friends waved back and took off.

"Big brother, what are you going to do tonight?" Goten asked as he walked over with Trunks.

"I think it's time," Gohan said with a smile.

"Time for what?" Goten asked confused while Trunks slightly understood.

"To tell Videl the truth, I think we can trust her," Gohan replied, smile still on his face.

"You think she'll be able to handle it?" Trunks asked concerned.

"If she made it this far with her training, then I don't think she'll be able to not handle it," Gohan said.

"Do you know how you're going to do it?" Goten asked.

"I think I might have some fun with it, I have an idea," Gohan said with a smirk.

It was about eight at night after Videl showed Erasa and Sharpener her new powers. She was now trying to study, but she couldn't get her training off her mind. The curtains over her windows were still open and she could see the city through her window. She sensed a familiar power level but she couldn't quite tell who it was because it was suppressed. She looked out her window and saw a familiar golden streak above the city.

'You're not getting away from me this time, I'm locked onto you,' Videl thought opening her window and flying out.

'There she is,' Gohan thought with a smile as he flew around the city as a super Saiyan. He already told Piccolo and the others what he was doing so they wouldn't have to tiptoe around her if they saw her. He was leading her somewhere significant to him, his sacred ground.

'He isn't flying as fast, I don't know if he's goading me into following him or maybe he's wounded, whatever it is I'm finding out,' Videl thought to herself keeping pace with the mysterious stranger in the air. Soon enough they were outside the city and flying over a dessert. Without and lights from buildings, the moon and stars were able to shine their light on the landscape undisturbed.

'Wait, we aren't going where I think we're going are we?' Videl thought recognizing where she was being lead. Soon the landscape was familiar as the area of the Cell games that was broadcasted to the world seven years ago. But before she could recollect any memories of that terrifying time, the gold man vanished but she sensed someone familiar. She looked down and there Gohan stood on the opposite edge of a crater that was left behind from the battle.

"Gohan?" Videl asked confused.

"Hey Videl," Gohan replied, a serious look on his face. It concerned Videl, she's seen him serious before, but not to this degree.

"Why did your friend lead me here?" she demanded.

"Videl, it's time for you to know the truth," Gohan said.

"The truth?" Videl was really starting to worry now.

"That's right, you've wanted to know my past and secrets so badly. Well, I trust you now, that means I can tell you," Gohan said.

"It can't be that easy," Videl said cautiously.

"This is the easy part, the hard part will be whether you decide to believe me or not," Gohan said. He started to walk over to a small divot in the earth where it appeared some massive being once stood. He crossed his arms and said, "my father isn't of this world. He is a Saiyan, a race of immensely powerful human-like warriors. He was sent here as an infant to destroy the world, but he lost his memory and gained a good nature. That makes me half Saiyan. Vegeta used to be the prince of all Saiyans before his world was destroyed."

"And your father was Son Goku? The martial artist who defeated King Piccolo?" Videl asked.

"You already know this, it was because of his Saiyan strength that he was able to do so as a teenager," Gohan replied, his arms still crossed.

"What does this all mean? You really are half alien?"

"That's right. Do you see this spot I'm standing in? This is the last spot he stood on Earth alive while trying to defeat Cell. Cell was attempting to self-destruct and destroy the planet because he was losing, but my dad used a technique that took him and Cell to another world where they blew up there," Gohan continued.

'And I mocked his father just to provoke him, I can't believe I did that,' Videl thought drooping her head a little.

Gohan continued to walk about twenty meters in another direction before motioning for Videl to come, which she did. He then said, "This is where the monster reappeared after blowing himself up, my father didn't."

The guilt in Videl continued to grow, Gohan's father died protecting a world he was originally supposed to destroy, but his image is tarnished by her father.

Gohan then walked back over to where he stood at the edge of the crater with Videl following.

"This is where I killed him, this is where the nightmare ended," was all Gohan would say. He lowered his arms to his sides and then said, "Your father never offended anyone by taking the credit for Cell, it was more attention than any of us would want. However what he said about my father was an incredible insult."

"I'm so sorry Gohan, I had no idea. I never knew that this stuff existed except for a month ago," Gohan walked over to Videl and used his thumb to brush a tear falling from her eye and said, "It's ok Videl, you did nothing wrong. For me to tell you about everything then I'm sorry but you must feel the pain I feel too."

Videl nodded and sobbed before asking, "Where does the gold man play into all of this?"

Gohan stepped back to his spot before saying, "There is a Saiyan legend, of a transformation to grants incredible power. It is called the super Saiyan. My father was the first to reach it, Vegeta was next, then me, then Trunks and Goten."

Without warning a gold flame ensued Gohan causing his hair to turn gold and spike up and his eyes to turn a teal blue color.

"It was you all along," she said.

"That's right, do you understand why I never stopped? Why I never took an interview? If I didn't want the credit for Cell, why would stopping a robbery or some criminals matter?"

"The world has a right to know who really saved them Gohan, you have to confess," Videl said with hope in her voice.

"And my family and friends have a right to their privacy, they all know how to use Ki like I've been teaching you, but at a master's level, maybe even further than that. I'm telling you all of this because I trust you, and would expect you not to tell anyone else. I didn't make a mistake with this, did I?" Gohan asked, this time a smile coming across his face.

Videl started to return the smile and said, "Your secrets are safe with me, Gohan."
