A/N: Okay, here's a super short little story that just popped into my head one day and wouldn't go away until I wrote it down.

I don't own anything, so please don't sue me, okay?

She runs to him, not thinking of anything but the fact that he's looking at her like that.

She's not thinking of her brother, his best friend, standing less than ten feet away.

She's not thinking of his other best friend, and the smug looks she knows she'll be getting for the next two weeks.

She's not thinking of the whole of Gryffindor house watching them.

She's not thinking of one of her ex-boyfriends- one of his roommates- and what he'll do when he sees.

She's thinking of nothing but Harry and his bright green eyes and his incredible smile and the determined look on his face; the thrilled look on his face at seeing the party in the common room.

All she can think is that she needs to be near him, to celebrate with him.

He's all that matters.

And when she throws herself into his arms and he kisses her, just like she's wanted since she was twelve years old, she almost cries from happiness.

When they break apart, she takes a deep breath and watches as his eyes seek out those of his best friend; her brother.

He must find some approval there (not that they needed his permission, thanks so much), because when his bottle green eyes meet her sparkling brown ones, his grin makes her stomach flip and flutter.

He grasps her hand and they walk toward the portrait hole.

When it closes behind them, she pulls his arm, still attached to his, around her waist, anchoring it there before wrapping her arms around his middle and giving him a squeeze.

He kisses the top of her head and she can feel him smile into her hair as he hugs her back.

She thinks that perhaps she's never been so happy.

A/N 2: Thank you all so much for the follows and favorites and reviews on my other stories- I'm completely blown away! I have some other stuff in the works, too, so keep an eye out and/or follow if you're interested! :)

Review? I'd love to know what you thought!
