As investigations went, Brenda Leigh had little to go on besides the fact that she was nearly gunned down while buying wine by a criminal hell bent on retribution.

Why would someone gun down a liquor store owner, take no money and do it purely as a vindetta?

Brenda Leigh mulled it over. There were pieces to this puzzle missing, but she was determined to fit them together. She had many things to go on, and none of them were hitching together.

Maybe Sharon would have some insight. And, she smirked, she'd get to spend time with the beautiful woman.

In the back of her mind, she recalled doing the exact thing - knocking on Sharon's door to her private home. It gave her pause for a few seconds to get her head on straight.

Sharon stood in a baby blue silk robe, silk pajamas and matching slippers.

Brenda knew she was gawking, but there things that deserved it. Sharon Raydor in blue silk certainly did.
