Epilogue:
*-Tweet, Tweet; My Story's Complete-*
Seven years later...
So at the end of my story; I had successfully found love. I married my best friend and I was having his child. I had my brother back and a new sister-in-law, as well as a new brother-in-law. My best friends and cousins were happy and that made me happy.
Lacy and Embry were going strong, their first child was a real handful! I was an aunt since Rachel and Paul had twins about two years ago, and Jake and Nessie had had their first kid – a boy! – a month ago. Everyone was surprised, since many thought that it would be impossible. But little Masen was as reckless as his dad, even though he was a month old.
Aleera and Joey already had three rugrats milling about and the fourth was on its way. Fallon and Mitch's wedding was three months ago, and they were waiting to see if they were going to expand their life of two.
Brittany and Nero (the wolf that attacked me, who turned out to be Brittany's imprint) were so in love, Britt was now one of my closest best friends. We, along with Emily, Lacy, Fallon and Aleera, owned a small tourist shop in town called Legacy of Legends. The shop was small, but it was an attraction – it was a coffee shop with famous legends written on the walls. People could add their own Legends in a entry book and we would look into placing them with the others.
Nero and I, well, we tolerated each other for Brittany and Seth's sakes. Leah and Ethan were happy with their little Jessabell, however Ethan was less than pleased when one of the new wolves, Max, imprinted on her a week after her return from the hospital. Leah, surprisingly, was overjoyed. She claimed that now her little girl wouldn't have to suffer the kind of heartbreak she had to endure.
Seth and I were happy, content, neither bothered with what happened in the past. Though, protective Seth was adorable, he was also working on my nerves with babying me. Sigh, but you gotta love him.
And I couldn't believe it took me this long to finally realize that:
The Meaning Behind Dreams – Didn't always mean what you think. It was just your subconscious giving you snips of your future in a different kind of scenery and a different way. Even though some of it may come true.
Looking Into the Eyes of an Enemy and Seeing the Light of a Lover – Meant there was love in every one, you could find love everywhere you go. Someday you might see your enemy and realize that that person was the one for you.
SunShowers and Giant Wolves – Well, that just had a meaning of its own and be careful; the day might come when you have to face your own SunShowers and Giant Wolves.
I Need To Know, When Will I Go – Every one has the feeling of running away, and not face their fears or their problems. But you don't always want to know when it would be your time to go.
We're Not Normal – being normal is great, but being yourself and being different makes you unique. So if someone asks or tells you that you are weird; smile at them and say: "Thanks, I'm not normal, but that makes me unique."
Deciding My Ass – Everyone has their own decisions, nobody can make them for you or give you specific/limited options. You make your decisions, you decide what you want, will do, and how you'd do it. Remember that.
From This Moment On, I'm Counting On You – Sometimes, you gotta take a leap of faith and fall in love. I know it seems scary, but it is the only way to learn what real love is and what is not. So trust the one you care about and count on that person, though remember; too much counting could lead to expecting.
Returning The Lost – This could have many different meanings, though for me it meant I returned something that was missing from my family's lives – hope. So, keep on searching and you – or someone else – will return something that was lost a long time ago, something you didn't even notice was missing.
Feral Eyes, Tame Heart – There might be hate in the eyes of the one you love, but he/she would always love you, care about you in some way. You just have to dig until you uncover it. And to find it, you might have to calm the raging beast inside to see its tame, lonely heart...
That's the end of that! Took me almost a year or two... I think (can't really remember - ehehe)
Sadly, no, there won't be a sequel to Deadly Secrets - just in case anyone was wondering. I am done with writing fanfics for a while...
It was great doing this and looking back and seeing how my writing style has changed and improved really makes me proud (even though I actually cringe and laugh and face-palm every time I reread this story for all the stupid mistakes I made and all the Mary Sue-ness of the characters and the plot... but I won't be editing it. It reminds me how far I've come.)
Just know that anyone can write... it just depends on how much passion you put into your work. (I write far better than this, but I wanted to do some fun writing and this happened!)
Anyways... Thanks to all of you who stood by this story as I wrote it and updated poorly. And a huge thanks to those who cringed along with me at all the mistakes and the excessive use of hyperbole in the plot to fit things in that would make it "cool" and "awesome". You guys and gals are great!
