A Night of Questions
Disclaimer: I do not own the show. I am only borowing it for a short time, and I will return it unphazed.
Hitomi stared at the sky full of stars. She found that searching for familar star clusters helped to dull the aching scence of lonlieness that plagued her night and day. She found the big dipper, warped somewhat, but it was there. She found the north star, shining brightly, but not in the north. Then her gaze fell on the mistic moon. Earth. Home.
She found that she missed it greatly, and wanted to see her family again. She wanted to see her friends. Amono.
She sighed. 'This isn't doing me any good,' she thought, 'I should be thinking of more practical things, like Van's wings.' But she didn't want to think about that now, it frightened her that who she had belived her angle was, and who it realy was, well, miles off track. Oh well, she thought, at least I have an angle.
A poem started to form in her head. A thought of what had happened during her time here.
I run like the wind,
A silvery moon.
A dragons wing beats.
A light appears,
Taken she is from her world.
The stars are different here,
Warped and confussed.
A reminder that she is gone from what she knows,
What she loves, what she is.
Thfe Mystic Moon,
A place where I used to belong.
But no more,
I am gone.
If I go back,
Will they except me,
Or will they run in terror?
I can catch them, I know,
But will I want to knowig that they won't let me in?
Will I even want to go back?
I don't know.
Maybe, Maybe not.
An answer full of confusion
And strange possabilities.
Her thoughts stoped. Would she want to go back? Face a world that had moved on without her. She didn't know. She had to find out though. She felt that the time of decisions was near. Her decision was one that needed to be thought out carefully. Home or here. But where was she realy at home. Did it switch from Earth to here, Gea?
To many questions for one night. She would sleep and see what mornigh brought. A night of questions. She must have a night of answers soon. Yes, very soon.
