A/N: I'm back! It's been so long since I updated this story, but I've finally done it! I hope you all enjoy!

And yes, I will be working on more. It's just taking longer due to college and life having problems.

DISCLAIMER: I still don't own Hetalia.

Gilbert POV

Birdie is finally coming home! This is so AWESOME! I've already explained everything to Opa and bruder, so Birdie will be staying in my room while Opa gets one of the guest rooms ready for him.

I almost just skipped all the way to Birdie's room.

But I didn't, I'm way too awesome for that!

By the time I got there, Birdie was already unhooked from the machines and dressed.

"Ready to go Birdie?"

He nodded quietly. Poor Birdie. I know he still upset about me being the one to find him. I hope I can help him….

As we check out of the hospital, I make a vow to myself to support Matthew through anything and everything.

Outside, Opa was waiting with the car. He agreed to drive so I could sit with Birdie in the back. (That, and he doesn't trust me with the car.)

"Guten tag Mattthew." Opa greets as we come outside. Birdie looked down nervously.

"Bonjour Monsieur Beilschmidt." He whispered. I hugged Birdie close. "Opa's taking us home while Ludwig helps Alfred and Eyebrows with your stuff." Birdie smiled a bit. We got into the car and headed home to begin Birdie's recovery.

Legolas POV

So this is the Matthew Gilbert has talked about for all these years. The boy looks so small and shy. I'm surprised Gilbert became friends with him. And now boyfriends. Everything Gilbert does involving Matthew is surprising.

Ever since the deaths of Heinrich and their parents, neither Gilbert nor Ludwig have been the same. Ludwig forgot most of his childhood. And Gilbert began getting into trouble everywhere he went. I thought it would only get worse.

But then he met Matthew.

Gilbert came home that day babbling on and on about the boy he met at school. At the time, I could hardly remember his name. However, every chance he got Gilbert would go out with 'Matthew' or spend hours talking on the phone with 'Matthew'.

When I asked Gilbert about Matthew, his face lit up in a way it hadn't in years. He described the boy as shy and handsome (and though he'll deny it now, he used 'awesome' and 'cute' many times as well). The moment Gilbert could say that someone other than himself was awesome, I knew that he had changed for the better.

Matthew had made my grandson smile again.

And now, Gilbert wants to do the same for him.

A/N: Yes, I named Germania Legolas. I told myself when I began this story that I was going to do that, and I stuck with it.

Please review so I know people still read my stories.
