Cybernetic Blue Blur: Battle Redux
Just a little reworked version of the story, set in a different Continuum Shift. Takes place after the One Piece Arc of the original CBB:B! Also, go check out Maxforce's story, The Zones: New Shift.
"Uncle…" Shinobi panted, flat on his back and bruised and exhausted, "Uncle, please…"
"Oh, come now, you six," an elderly man with a long white beard, a turtle shell on his back, and sunglasses chuckled while adjusting said sunglasses, "You're almost done today. Just a few m-?!"
"What…What's up?" Netto panted as he managed to sit up despite the large turtle shell on his back so he could look at the elderly man who was looking out at a direction.
"This scent…" Netto looked over at Kyuubi as he began to sit up as well, "It…It's that girl that stayed with us for a bit in the Prime Zone."
"Matsu?" Sasuke asked, not even bothering to get up.
"Yo," Rayne greeted, everyone flinching at how close she was to Sasuke's face.
"?!"
'I didn't even sense her there!' the elder thought before noticing the large bag on her back.
"Why are…you here…?" Naruto asked.
"Oh, well, the older White Boss showed up last night and told me to deliver something to you guys and then to the others in your group," Rayne informed.
"The…older who?" Shinobi groaned.
"Ryuu?" Netto asked as Rayne got them all sitting up.
"Yeah," Rayne nodded, "Man…That older White Boss is a strange guy. Then again, he said that he was a lot older than he looked…" she shrugged, "Ah well." With that, she dropped the bag on the ground and took out some cooking supplies, "He told me it could be cooked in many ways, too."
"It's food?!" Shinobi shouted in disbelief.
"Yeah, he had me eat some and let me tell you…" she began to drool heavily enough to cause a tiny river to start forming, "…Umai~…"
"Kids these days…" the elder shrugged, "Alright, you get one food break and it's back to work."
"Care to join in, sir?" Rayne asked.
"Oh, of course~!" the elder exclaimed, his sunglasses now heart-shaped.
'Dirty old man…' the six thought.
"Okay. Prepare for something you've never tasted before!"
With that, Rayne removed the bindings on the bag. Almost instantly, Minato's chakra started to erupt from Naruto's body while a black chakra erupted from Kyuubi.
"SETTLE DOWN, DAMMIT!" Rayne barked as she slammed her foot against the chakra, dispersing it and knocking Naruto and Kyuubi over.
'A…A kick snapped Naruto out of that? And what was that Chakra from Uncle Arashi?' Netto thought with wide eyes.
Out of all of them, the elder was the only one that focused on the food. It was a large ball of some sort of golden plant-like material, seemingly clumped up together. Even though it was as big as him, the elder could actually feel that this was merely a tiny portion of what it originally came from.
"Ah hell…It's vegetables…" Naruto groaned.
"It's not that. Did you already forget your Biju nearly took over just to get a bite of this stuff?" Rayne frowned.
"S…Sorry. It's just…I felt it! It was calling out to me…to devour it all!" Minato trembled in Naruto's mind.
"What you all see before you is a powerful Ingredient. One that is part of a Cooking God's Full Course Menu," Rayne informed, "It is His Salad: AIR."
"A-AIR?" Naruto repeated.
"Here. Just try it," Rayne informed, offering a plate of it to Netto, "It's Acacia's "Salad", so in appearance, it's a cabbage-like covered ingredient, but…in physical texture, one would call it "meat.""
"Meat?" Netto repeated as he picked it up, "Whoa. This is…kinda heavy. It's like an elastic lead…Heck, it's more like a living animal in terms of looks. Kinda like…it could start moving now."
Netto gave a soft inhale of the scent. His eyes widened, his Mystogan activating on pure reflex. Tilting his head back from the strong scent, his eyes gazed upwards at the cloud-filled sky…and then beyond it to the clear blue sky…and then beyond that into space itself. He blinked and rubbed his eyes, the Kekkei Genkai losing itself.
"Wh…What was that?" Netto pondered.
"What's wrong?" Sasuke asked.
"Just now…I…I think I was able to see space itself through the sky," Netto explained.
"That's crazy," Naruto snorted.
"C-Could it be…from just sniffing it, I could see space?"
"The high-quality oxygen inside AIR most likely made its way into every corner of your capillaries, causing your vision to rise spectacularly," Rayne noted as she handed a plate to the elder, "Here you go, Master Roshi."
"Thank you, dear," the elder nodded, "So there's a lot of oxygen in this? Well, since you call it "AIR" I shouldn't be surprised." 'Still…I can actually feel the power coming off this single bit…Where did she get something like this?'
"I'm serious! Just now…I…For a second, I could see from here all the way into outer space!"
"Argue later! Eat now!" Rayne snapped.
"R-Right," the six nodded.
All eight proceeded to bite down on their piece of AIR. The cries of delight from the taste went out into the air.
'What…What is this food?' Roshi thought as he began to cry, 'Even if it's raw…the taste…I don't think I can ever forget the divine taste this food has…'
'I see…This is AIR…' Sasuke thought as he looked over at Netto and Naruto as Rayne handed them ramen and curry made with AIR to try, 'Incredible…The taste alone is really attention-getting, but…The amount of oxygen entering my body through breathing has increased. And as a result of that, my blood flow has gotten better. It feels as if my metabolism has suddenly gotten really lively. Every function in my body is strengthening to be many times or dozens of times better…!-! First, my body's natural healing ability seems to have increased.' He looked down at his arms, seeing with each inhale, his wounds from the training were fading away, 'With 'one breath' any light scratches disappear…with 'two breaths', cuts close. With 'three breaths', deep wounds from something like a knife are beginning to heal.'
'If we all keep breathing, bone fractures and heavy burns may heal as well…' Rayne noted, 'But…that's not all to AIR. Just after eating this, we'd probably be fine without breathing for a considerable period of time…you could spend dozens of hours in the sea or a few days in a place where there's no oxygen!'
"This…This is so good~!" Naruto exclaimed.
"AH!" Naruto turned his head to see Netto trembling while holding his left arm…now transformed into a powerful white phoenix/wolf-like demonic limb.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Naruto exclaimed, not noticing his own left arm was replaced by Minato's.
"Hmm…This was meant to happen, wasn't it?" Sasuke asked, looking at his now long, thin black arm covered in flame-like armor with five blade-like fingers coming out of it.
"Yes," Rayne nodded as Kyuubi looked at his pitch-black version of Minato's arm in place of his own.
"This…looks like Gregar's arm…but combined with Falzar's talons…" Rockman muttered, twisting his own transformed left arm at times to get a better look at it.
"This is pretty cool," Shinobi admitted, looking at his knight-like demonic arm, the armor looking more like layered hyper-thick skin with blue veins pulsing in it.
"You all know what KI (Killing Intent) is, right?" Rayne asked, "Well, in the Gourmet World, this 'KI' is actually known as Intimidation and the beings making that 'KI' are known as Gourmet Demons. By eating AIR, you now have control over the left arm of the creature made from your Killing Intent."
"B-But how do we…?" Netto asked before Rayne held her left arm up before it transformed into a bulky/sleek demonic lion/dragon's arm, flames forming the paw while knives made the claws…before changing back.
"Just think and your left arms can now switch back and forth," Rayne informed, "With each Ingredient in Acacia's Full Course Menu that you eat, you'll gain more and more control over summon the limbs of your inner beast until you can fully transform back and forth between them."
"Fascinating," Sasuke noted, switching his limb back and forth, "I feel…stronger…when the arm is on. But, even with it gone…" he walked over to Netto and easily picked him up, rock shell and all, "I see…Our bodies have evolved to make Master Roshi's strength-building training obsolete."
"Nope," Rayne popped her 'p,' "You still need to do it. It's better you finish it since you only did the beginning exercise."
"Oh come on!" Naruto shouted in disbelief.
"She's right," the elder chuckled, his demonic turtle limb changing back into his original left arm and hand, "This was just meant to get you ready for the real training under me." 'It's strange...but just from eating that...I feel as if my body's more fit than it was when I was in my prime…'
"…Shit!" Shinobi summarized what the other boys all thought.
"Sorry about ending this part of the training so fast," Rayne apologized, "But the older White Boss said that this needed to happen."
"Eh, it's fine," Roshi shrugged, "I almost just called it quits on these kids."
"Ouch," Netto winced.
"Well, let's move on," Roshi adjusted his glasses.
"Have fun, boys~!" Rayne waved, already walking away.
'Didn't even see her move…' everyone thought with sweatdrops.
*Cue opening music*
*As the music began to play, the screen changed from darkness to lightning up to the full moon, a glow covering it to become the symbol of Yin and Yang. It changed to a rolling shot of a darkened landscape, Lan and Saito's backs facing each other as they looked up at the Yin-Yang moon.*
They see you as small and helpless. They see you as just a child.
*The scene changed to Volt, Alice, and Puru, looking up in worry at a group of shadowed figures*
Surprise when they find out that a warrior will soon run wild.
*The camera moved away from them to let Megaman FourBeasts Out and Roll Soul-Style attack the screen*
Prepare for your greatest moments.
*It cut to Master Asia, sparing against GekiYang, an image of Heero overshadowing the helmet*
Prepare for your finest hour.
*It cut to Lan standing before the WhiteBase Dragon with a stern expression, his back facing the WhiteBase Dragon as he looked at the camera*
The dream that you've always dreamed is suddenly about to flower.
*It cut to Lan and Saito, lying on the landscape, before their eyes snapped open, revealing Lan's left eye was a brilliant azure and Saito's right eye was a rich crimson*
We are lightning:
*It cut to Saito and Lan glaring at Narutaki as images moved in the background of various characters readying for fights*
Straying from the thunder,
*It cut to Saito pulling the DecaDriver out with Lan pulling out the Mobirate*
Miracles of ancient wonder.
*The two transformed into Decade and GokaiYang before charging at the screen*
This will be the day we've waited for.
*It cut to Rayne and Turbo assuming fighting stances, surrounded by shadowed figures*
This will be the day we open up the door.
*It cut to a multi-cut between Mana gazing up at a pair of massive gates with a determined expression and Hazama facing a cauldron with a massive sphere of wings floating above it, giving a maniacal glee-filled smile*
I don't wanna hear your absolution.
*It cut to Alexander, slumped against a wall and heavily injured*
Hope you're ready for a revolution.
*The image shattered as Rex charged through towards the screen with his BFS in its buzz-saw mode*
Welcome to a world of new solutions. Welcome to a world of bloody evolution.
*It then cut to a rotating shot of RyuuseiDan and RyuutsukiDan readying for battle with a sphere of light and darkness floating above them, the two groups surrounded by shadowed figures*
In time your heart will open minds.
*It cut to a grave where Alexander stood before a hand was put on his shoulder. He turned to see Jasmine's concerned face before the image zoomed out to reveal Alexander with Puru, Jasmine, Thorn, Key, Medi, Mamoru, and Serenade standing at his sides*
A story will be told, and victory is in a simple soul.
*It cut to RyuuseiDan in the control room of the WhiteBase Dragon before zooming in on Lan, the scene shifting into a sea of flames, ice, and lightning that dispersed, revealing the title*
"Hah!"
*BANG-BANG-BANG*
Musubi bounced, dodged, and weaved as she dodged the shots all fired at her. Across from her was a red Sentai themed after a policeman, using police car-themed pistols to try to shoot her.
"To think that this was what that fossilized thing was," Megaman noted as he watched the Sentai jump over the punch Musubi tried to hit him with.
"Yeah. Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger," Roll noted, looking at the chapter in the Sentai Encyclopedia on them, "A group of space police. I wonder if the Plumbers know them…"
Alexander yawned as he walked towards them, "Yo~"
"Good morning, Alexander," Megaman nodded.
"You seem like you had a good night last night," Roll noted.
"Yeah," Alexander grinned, "Hey, Roll? Mind if I borrow your husband for a bit?"
"Well…You're not going to do anything too stressful, are you?" Roll asked, "Mega-kun just had a surgery on his foot from a misfired shot in weapons practice. Jasmine-chan said to not let him over-exercise or it'll reopen the wound."
"Don't worry. I'm sure it won't cause that. We're just going to check out that place Lan found on his tour done by Ben and Rook last week," Alexander shrugged.
"I still wanna know where Rayne went," Roll noted.
"Someone mention my name?" the three jumped and turned to see Rayne, filing her nails on a nearby crate.
"Wh…Where have you been all week? Lan just unlocked a new Super Sentai when he helped Ben capture this guy named Fistrick. Seems that this form can actually give the Universe's Judgement on criminals and their punishment is final," Megaman noted, "Not even Lawyers can override the judgement."
"A week? I was…ah…Forgot the time dilation," Rayne muttered to herself, "I had to get a powerful new Ingredient. Just to warn you, don't go into the kitchen for anything until I'm done. Otherwise your Four Beast Out will activate on pure instinct and go berserk trying to get what I'm cooking."
"…Four what now?" Alexander looked at Megaman as Rayne walked out.
"You know those Scans that Heero uses? The ones we call 'Three of the Eight Kings'?" Megaman asked.
"Yes?"
"Add an old friend of mine and combine them with me and you get something that could devour the universe itself."
"Oh?" Alexander raised a brow.
"Fortunately for me, my Food Immersion Training lets me stay in control, though only for a little bit. I…It's really straining on my mind when I use it. If I pass out in that form, it'll go on a rampage."
"Okay. Well, let's get going. Undertown awaits!"
Lan clapped his hands once as he bowed. Tsukiumi watched him from nearby, looking at the small shrine her Ashikabi had built.
"Three years now, Kage-sensei," Lan noted to the shrine, "Even with that long passing, it still feels as if you'll show up and give me a fright like you used to."
"This being…" Tsukiumi looked at the photo of the Darkrai with silver eyes instead of the usual blue, "…He was thine teacher? Like the Kensei?"
"A little. In a way…Kage-sensei was like the grandfather I never knew," Lan replied as he walked over to her and looked out at the stars, "When I was two, there was an accident in my grandpa's lab and he vanished. No one was able to find him, so people thought he was dead. Dad never told me a lot about him aside from him being the one who made NetNavis and the way of life back in my home seikai." Turning to her, he continued, "I first met Kage-sensei four years ago, when Maylu, Megaman, Roll, and I ended up sucked into this book called Gulliver's Travels."
"I have read that story before. T'was an interesting read," Tsukiumi pointed out.
"Yeah," Lan nodded, "But unlike the original story, Gulliver was the bad guy in it, trying to destroy the seven islands. One of the islands was the floating one, Laputa. Its people were long gone, leaving only the machines, animals, and greenery there. Along with them, Kage-sensei lived there, tending to the gardens and defending them from Guliver's forces. When we got there, he saw something inside of me."
"Something inside of you?"
Lan nodded before holding up his hand and letting Chaos Flames erupt in the palm, "He saw I could call on Dying Will Flames of the same type as he could; Chaos Flames."
"I've seen you use these flames before, but they were in different colors and shapes," Tsukiumi recalled, "The blue ones caused Musubi to have a leg that acted more like a limp noodle for a little bit."
"Kage-sensei told me that while Chaos Flames were my primary Flame, I was unique in having multiple types of Dying Will Flames as my secondary, all relating to the Sky Flames," Lan explained.
"Sky Flames?"
"There are two kinds of Dying Will Flames: Sky and Earth," Lan informed, "Kage-sensei had me study them for the week we spent on that island, tapping into my Dying Will Flames and even unlocking my Dimensional Scream, Shriek, and Roar. Those three always give me a headache when I use them, so it's why I rarely use them and…" his smile slipped, "I haven't really used these in a long while, not since Scan…"
Tsukumi didn't say anything. She simply held her Ashikabi close. Being the closest Sekirei there, she could feel the strong guilt, regret, and sadness in her Ashikabi's heart. While her Ashikabi acted more like a child, he wouldn't show his pained side unless he felt he could do so without others judging him.
"Do you have something that you remember him by?"
"Y-Yeah…" Lan replied as he took out the red collar his master wore, one all Darkrai had but with his final words carved into it, "He…He gave it to Megaman before sacrificing himself to get everyone out of Impel Down. At the time, Megaman and I…" his fists tightened as Tsukiumi felt the anger in him, "…We couldn't do anything against that Magellan guy and his Poison Body."
"Poison body?" Tsukiumi repeated.
"He could turn his entire body into poison," Lan explained, "Just like Ace can turn into fire."
"An Akuma no Mi…"
Lan nodded before closing his eyes. His last gift from his master glowed before the area rippled. Tsukiumi's eyes widened as she saw they were now on Laputa, Lan sitting across from Kage, the Darkrai and human in meditative position.
"Breathe in…and breathe out," Kage ordered as past-Lan followed his orders, "Feels the flames within you, building up as your dying will ignites. Feel their warmth, young one? Do you feel how powerful the flames are beginning to become inside of you?"
"I…I do," past-Lan replied, "They…They're really weird."
"Weird? How so?"
"They're mainly this big black stuff, always changing shapes so fast that you can't really tell…"
Kage chuckled, "Those are your Primary Flame, young one. Those are Chaos Flames, they hold the property of 'Randomness' within."
"Randomness?"
"When these flames touch something, a random thing will occur with what they come in contact with," Kage informed as he picked up a rock, "Such as this…"
Chaos Flames erupted in Kage's hand. They dispersed, revealing the rock was now a frog. The frog gave a slow ribbit before suddenly shooting up, wearing a top hat and cane, and now singing a showtune. Tsukumi and past-Lan gawked at the act.
"Sugoi!" past-Lan awed as Lan let the Dimensional Shriek end.
"Ugh…" Lan mumbled, rubbing his head of the headache that formed.
"Wh…Why show me that?" Tsukiumi asked.
"I trust you, Tsuki-chan," Lan replied, "And…I wanted to show you it to say thanks for what you've done here."
"Hm?"
"You listened to me," Lan replied before softly kissing her lips, letting the wings briefly appear on her, "That's more than enough for a thanks and…Would you like to learn how to summon them?"
"M-Me?" Tsukiumi asked, 'Well…' she began to imagine herself standing over Kagura's defeated form, water in her left hand and flames in her right, 'I want to do that. Still can't beat the damn bastard even with all the training I've put in. Then again, he is being taught by Mother…'
"I do plan on having the other girls learn, too, but…I want you to be the one who learn first," Lan informed, snapping her out of her thought.
"Y-Yes. It would be an honor to learn."
Master Hand and Crazy Hand panted slowly as their bodies changed into their hand states once more. A robed figure stood across from them on their favored field of battle. The figure took out a scroll and tossed it to them, letting it unfold before them.
"…I understand, but at the same time, I am confused," Master Hand informed.
"…"
"…" Crazy Hand gave a dry chuckle, "The Master Unit Amaterasu has finally gotten pissed? Wow. We've heard the stories about the last time it ever got enraged, but that was when Bahamut was still one."
"…"
"No more chances. Those that die here will not come back," Master Hand sighed, "Very well. It has been eons since we last taught those in times of need. Not even Taboo garnered the need for that."
"…"
"We'll start with those we've invited to fight here," Master Hand informed.
"Once we see them all, we shall spread out," Crazy Hand added before another scroll was tossed and unrolled, "…What's with these places?"
"…"
"They went through a Cauldron. That explains this other list," Master Hand noted, "We'll start immediately."
"Hope to see you once more for a spar, Lord Philemon," Crazy Hand informed before the figure faded away, "I'll begin building the barracks. You handle the talks, brother. We both know you are the better speaker of us."
"Very well," Master Hand nodded.
"…Brother, why did you not unleash Master Core upon him?" Master Hand stopped at Crazy's question.
"It is not yet time to release the full might of Master Core yet," Master Hand replied before he teleported away.
"Ugh…" Crazy shuddered, "I hate fighting him when he uses Master Core. Why Ultima gave him that power in order to negate the Truths from touching him, it is something I wish for none to go up against." He snapped himself and vanished.
"Man, this is good," Sonic mumbled as he took a bite of the strange squid-like burger (or was it burger-like squid) he just bought as the hedgehog, Thorn, and Alexander entered a more-barren area of the underground town.
"Okay, MegaSonic…"
"You can just call me 'Sonic,' you know," Sonic noted, "Or by my middle name."
"Your middle name?" Alexander pondered.
"It's 'Hikari.'"
"…That's…That's kinda ironic."
"No. Ironic is when you shoot a gun, but it fires a liquid that cures anything it hits," Sonic pointed out.
"I thought irony was two teams who hate each other having to work together," Thorn noted.
*TWO HOURS LATER*
"Did you just seriously waste two hours discussing the meaning of 'irony?'" Long asked in disbelief as the trio finally came to an agreement.
"What were we talking about again?" Sonic asked.
"Uh…" Alexander raised a finger as his partner facepalmed.
"You said about summoning someone you know who owes you a favor for saving her life?" Long reminded.
"Oh yeah. Her," Alexander nodded, earning a raised brow from Sonic, "I thought you'd like to see how you can be outclassed in speed."
"What do you mean? I'm great at fighting with Caliburn at high speeds and Roll-chan and I spar at high speeds all the time," Sonic pointed out.
"Yes. But you both subconsciously hold back in those," Thorn pointed out.
"Yeah…Wait, what?" Sonic looked at his fellow Mobian.
"I'm serious. I know your top speed is way faster than what I've seen in your practices against your wife," Thorn noted, "Neither of you are able to truly go all out against the other. Now if this had been in the Death Battle Sekai, then that'd be a different matter…"
"I still can't believe my bet on Charizard winning didn't go as planned," Alexander scowled.
"Still, it was fun to see that video your wife made of you dressed in drag and doing the hula," Thorn smirked.
"I so wanted that naked apron…" Alexander grumbled.
"Okay. Aside from learning about a Zone where people die and that you want Jasmine in just an apron, what?" Sonic raised a brow.
"A few things, really," Alexander shrugged, "The Death Battle Zone is where the beings of their Zones are sent to when their minds can no longer register 'not killing' in even a light spar. When they're sent there, an exact duplicate without that issue is immediately formed in the exact instant they go there. The Sonic of that Zone doesn't hold back at all and even proved he could beat Mario in an all out fight."
"Really? Because I kinda proved it when Mario and I requested that we can use everything we have to fight each other one time at Smash Manor," Sonic noted, "Even with all his power ups, Mario still couldn't keep up with my speed."
"Wow. Did you spin dash into his back so hard that you sliced his middle area to pieces?" Thorn asked.
"What?! No, dude! I just got behind him and punted him over the side of the arena we were in."
"…Wow," was the flat response.
"Yeah. And that was after we tore it all up with our power ups and a Smash Ball or three," Sonic shrugged, earning a few sweatdrops from the two.
"…I want to see a video of that," Long noted, "Do you have any that involve a world being destroyed?"
"A few, but I'll show you them later," Alexander muttered to Long before saying aloud, "Okay. Well, we're off track at the moment, so I'm getting us back on track. I have a friend who owes me a favor. To get that favor, she let me put a teleportation device into her armor. So long as she didn't damage or try to tweak with it, she'll be brought here and then back with ease with a press of a button."
"Do you still have said button?" Sonic asked.
"Of course I do," Alexander snorted before pulling out a remote, "I just press this and she'll be here. Though it'll take a day or two before I can recharge this thing, so she'll be here for a few days."
"Okay," Sonic nodded slowly.
With that, Alexander pressed the button.
From the end of the remote, bolts of neon green lightning began to spill out before coalescing in mid-air a few feet away. A prismatic sphere of energy forming, the air itself began to rumble as energy poured into the sphere, and it began to increase in size. The area around them actually beginning to darken as the rumbling intensified, the sphere grew to around three meters in diameter. As the rumbling intensified even further, a rather anticlimactic *Pop* sounded, the lighting returning to normal and in the sphere's place was a tall figure in teal-colored armor.
Sonic made sure to take note of everything. The figure was slender and filled out a bit in a few places to show evidence of them being a woman. She wore a solid black bodysuit beneath the teal-colored armor with hints of silver detailing scattered about on it. The figure looked around, the artificial lighting of the underground city reflecting a bit off the gold-tinted visor on the teal-colored helmet.
"Huh. ...Neat," Sonic noted.
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!" the two looked at the armored figure's shoulder to see a cobalt armored figure appear on it, the armor bulkier and more masculine than the figure's build and a sniper rifle in hand, "Seriously, Carolina! What the fuck was that?!'
"A teleport mod?" the figure pondered, their voice revealing they were female, as they looked around.
"Hey there, Carolina!" Alexander waved.
"Who the hell're you? Where are we?" Carolina demanded as she rounded on him and got in a fighting stance.
"I'm... Well, the last time we met I was a teenager so of course you don't remember who I am," Alexander realized as he scratched his cheek. "I have put on a couple feet and years since then."
"Kid, you're going to have to help narrow it down a bit," the hologram said flatly. "Because I sure as hell don't remember your cryptic-as-hell ass."
"Church. I'm the guy who gave you that Ultimate Program so you'd stop deteriorating," Alexander said flatly.
" . . . Tyson Taisen?!" the two of them gawped.
Of course, since they were both wearing helmets, they didn't so much "gawp" as they did bob their helmets upwards a little.
"I go by Alexander now," the man shrugged.
"Hold up, it's only been a couple months since we last met that kid. There's no way you're the same teenager we stomped mushrooms with," the hologram said skeptically.
"I'll save you some time by saying it was one of those relativity things that Simmons always goes on about," Alexander stated. "You know, how certain regions of the multiverse have timeflows different than others based on their trans-spatial orientations from one another."
"So... You really are that guy," Carolina said after a brief pause.
"How else would I have access to the Teleportation Mod I put in your armor?" Alexander asked holding up the remote.
" . . . Fair point," the hologram shrugged, "Carolina, I've just finished running his Bios. He might've put on about a decade, but that's definitely him."
"So... Alexander," the Freelancer said testing the name on her tongue. "Why am I here?"
"That's one of life's greatest mysteries, ain't it?" Alexander joked, the Freelancer palming herself across the visor.
"You fell for that one, Carolina," Church chuckled before shutting up at the glare behind Carolina's helmet aimed at him.
"I meant why did you teleport me here, Alexander? I was in the middle of getting intel on some missing Project Freelancer equipment on this Planet called Chorus," Carolina informed.
"I need you to spar with MegaSonic here…"
"It's just 'Sonic.'"
"...if you'd please?"
"Huh. Just a spar? Fine," Carolina shrugged.
"Heh. This'll be over in a few seconds...kinda slow, though," Sonic shrugged as he pulled out Caliburn.
The two moved away from each other as Alexander walked to the side of the empty lot. He held up a hand and swung it down.
"First one to be pinned or knocked out! Start!" Alexander declared.
"If a few seconds was a long time for you…Pfft. Imagine what it is to me," Church chuckled as everyone was moving at a snail's pace to him, "Alright. What do we have here?" he tossed his rifle to the side and it vanished while he floated over to Sonic, "Well, you look well armed. All this for just one girl, huh?" a HUD popped up before him, displaying information and a diagram of Caliburn and Sonic's ring, "Well now…Hey, D? Uh, do you notice something strange about these two things?"
"Indeed," a green version of Church appeared beside Church, "The blade does not have an AI or any integration systems to it, yet both it and the ring have a sentient being in them. Perhaps you think it is a new alien species?"
"Maybe," Church replied, "And don't you mean 'we?'"
"Technically only you are thinking of it. I am just a memory of Delta," Delta informed as Church disappeared and reappeared nearby.
"Well, I like to have someone to talk to. I get lonely sometimes," Church noted as Delta copied the move Church did.
"May I suggest buying a dog?"
"Yeah…I'll consider it," Church replied before a smaller, purple and green version of Church appeared on the opposite of Delta's position beside Church.
"We're getting a dog?!" the new AI exclaimed in a child's voice filled with excitement.
"No, Theta! We've already got a Caboose," Church replied.
"Awww…" Theta slumped.
"Should we take into account the strange energy field the hedgehog is emanating?" Delta asked.
"Sounds good! What do you think of it, guys?" Church asked.
"It feels kinda weird to be around. Almost as if it wants to overload us like Iota and Eta can," Theta noted, appearing beside Sonic on a skateboard.
"It seems to be chaotic in nature," Delta examined, "Perhaps this is the 'Chaos Energy' that Sonic mentioned."
"Sounds about right," Church nodded, "Think it'll do something we won't expect?"
"Most likely/Uh-huh."
"Damn," Church frowned under his helmet.
"Oh, oh, look at this! You can use this pipe as a shield!" Theta pointed out as he appeared beside a pipe with loose bolts, big enough to let her use it as a handheld shield.
"Hey, thanks, buddy!" A hologram of the pipe bounced down to the floor and towards Carolina, "Yeah, that's better."
"Still, we need to factor in the sharpness of the blade. And blood loss would be…"
"G-God, I'm not done yet, Delta. Just give me a second, ok?"
"A second is a long time for someone in our time-base, Church."
"Just, hey, lis- everybody stop talking to me at once, please!"
A grey version of Church, taller than him and more menacing in just his appearance, appeared, "Are you getting angry, Epsilon?"
"No, O'Malley! I'm fine! Beat it, Omega!" Church growled as he waved his hand through Omega and pushed him away.
"I'm here if you need me."
"He's scary," Theta whimpered a little.
"Hey…" Church gently patted Theta's head, "He can't do anything as long as we ignore him. Okay, kiddo?"
A HUD appeared next to Delta, listing the armor upgrades Carolina had managed to retrieve, "Might I suggest preparing her healing unit?"
"Nope, I'm gonna need the power for her speed, strength, and shields."
"Assuming, we make it that far."
"D, you are killing me with the negativity," Church sighed as the HUD closed, "Why don't you help me out and give me a bio-scan of this loser. Even if he's blue, he's gonna be a loser."
Delta reappeared in front of Sonic with a HUD containing bio-scan results, "Interesting. He's roughly twenty percent data, but more detailed than our own. Perhaps he's his own A.I. with an organic body."
"Dude…That's pretty cool," Church noted, a hand under his elbow and the other pointing at Delta.
"Uh-huh!" Theta nodded, "Is it because of that Chaos Energy of his?"
"Could be, kiddo," Church nodded. "Remind me to brush up on Chaos Theory later."
"Here's something," Delta noted as the Bio-Scan displayed an X-Ray of Sonic's legs, "It appears he's had recent surgery on his leg. Judging by what remains of pre-surgery, the breaks were caused by a large, serrated blade's flat end. Roughly a width of one foot exactly."
"Thank you! Okay, let's blow the bolts on that maintenance hatch, give him a little bit of a stumble," Church ordered as a yellow copy and a blue copy appeared at the maintenance hatch directly below Sonic's leg before they fused into a green one that let out four bolts of energy that tore apart the bolts on the hatch and the pipe above.
"Acceleration has been detected!" Delta exclaimed, "He's already reached a speed of ninety-seven MPH in just the little time that has passed."
"Seriously?!" Church exclaimed.
"Oh wow!" Theta exclaimed, "He's like the Flash from the comics!"
"Alright, let's wrap this up," Church clapped his hands as a HUD of Carolina appeared, "Okay, Carolina. How's everything?"
"She hasn't been sleeping well," Delta examined.
"She's been having bad dreams…" Theta whispered to Church as a black version of Church with flames decorating his form briefly appeared behind Church, "…about the bad guy."
"No, Theta, she's fine. Don't worry about it," Church gently assured before he spotted Delta's HUB lowering Carolina's stats to eighty-two percent, "Delta! She's! Fine!"
"This isn't very scientific," Delta pointed out as he put it back up to ninety-two percent.
"Well, sometimes, you just have to operate on faith."
"That seems unwise, Epsilon."
"Yeah, but it is more…" Church began to rotate his right wrist, trying to find the right word, "…fun. There, that'll do it."
"She won't like that injury part," Theta admitted as a HUD showed a 94% chance of success with a 63% chance of success without injury.
"She never does, but if she lives to complain about it, she still lives. Thanks, guys," Church thanked the two before he appeared before Carolina, "Alright, looks like it's just you and me, sis," he waved his hand before his visor, "Transfer analysis to your HUD." He smiled a little as the visor glowed for a 'second,' "Let's do this." Time resumed and the pipe was the first thing to go off with the hatch, causing Sonic to fall over.
"Gah! Son of a bitch!" Sonic shouted, grabbing his leg as some of the stitches in it opened.
"Ooh…Jasmine's not gonna like what just happened," Alexander muttered as Sonic rubbed Shahra's ring just as Carolina grabbed the pipe and threw it at Sonic, knocking him out, "And that's gonna be worse."
"Ah! Master!" Shahra yelped as she appeared, "Oh dear. And you just got out of surgery a while ago."
"I am most shamed," Caliburn frowned, "We did not even begin to move."
"Yeah…You should really take him to see the doc who took care of his leg," Church noted before giving a wolf whistle at Shahra, "And you are hot!"
"Boys," Carolina rolled her eyes as Shahra blushed.
"Marco, four to base," Thorn informed into his communicator.
=Hokay!= the Minion replied before saying something else.
"Yes. I mean the lady in the armor. And prep Jasmine for leg surgery again," Thorn informed.
=Ah. Hokay! Sae! Dul! Hana!=
"What's going on?" Carolina asked before the group vanished and reappeared on the Port Room of the WhiteBase Dragon.
"Welcome to the WhiteBase Dragon," Alexander greeted before he was decked in the back of the head by an irate Jasmine.
"WHAT DID I SAY, DAMMIT?!" Jasmine demanded as she grabbed the back of Alexander's head and slammed it on the red carpet of the room, "HUH?! WHAT DID I FUCKING SAY ABOUT HIM TAKING IT EASY?!"
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Alexander apologized in pure fear.
"SAY YOU LIKE EATING RED CARPET! SAY IT!"
"I like eating red carpet," Alexander sobbed.
"SAY IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT!"
'Must. Not. Laugh,' Long thought, 'Laugh. Means. Forbid.'
"This is his doctor?!" Church gawked.
"Hello," Jasmine greeted, "Were you the ones who reopened his stitches?"
"…I'm sorry," Church apologized, "My fault."
"…MEDDY! KEY! WE'VE GOT AN A.I. THAT NEEDS TO BE BEATEN UP!"
"Uh-oh," Church gulped, "Uh, I'm gonna go inside Carolina's head for now, okay? Great! Seeya!"
"STAY RIGHT THERE!"
"…Fuck that!" Church screamed in fear before vanishing.
"Dammit!" Carolina exclaimed as she barely saw a human-sized, transparent Church running away, "Epsilon, get back here!"
"Oh, don't worry," Jasmine smirked, a dark look in her eyes, "He'll be caught and pummeled to near death before being healed and then cycled through that for a good ten days."
"I kinda need him," Carolina informed, "Without him, my armor can't fully run."
"Fine," Jasmine pouted before Shining Gundam rocketed by the window they were near, "…He stole a Gundam!"
"Get back here!" Meddy's voice roared as Rising Gundam and Burning Gundam pursued the Shining Gundam.
"No way!" Shining screamed in Church's voice, "Help me, Carolina!"
"Wow. That guy's quick," Alexander noted before Master Gundam, Nobel Gundam, and Wing Gundam EW shot by, the latter equipped with GekiJaguar and GekiWolf over his legs and Nobel Gundam equipped with GekiElephant, "And there's the guys in charge of Robot Control."
"Do you have a bar here?" Carolina facepalmed, "It's yesterday all over again. Except there's no Caboose and having to put down CTRL-F-U into a computer almost once a day."
"…For some reason, I wanna laugh at that and I don't know why," Long noted.
Master Hand looked around, the dust blowing in the wind. He knew this was the right world he traveled to, however…
'Everything is dead here,' Master Hand noted as he floated by a building that had seen better days, 'I can't feel a single life in this world…except for one.' "I presume this is your doing?"
"No…For once, I never had a chance to try."
Master Hand turned his form to 'look' at the lone being, "Can you tell me what happened to this world?"
"A man appeared with a woman. The woman walked with what, at first, had no purpose while the man…killed," the figure informed, narrowing their eyes, "Any who got near him, he enjoyed the slaughter. Providence attempted to fight him, but were taken down without mercy."
"And what of this world's hero before its downfall?"
"He attempted to intercept the woman, but she did something. I am unsure of what she did, but he transformed and began to aide in the slaughtering until someone I worked with sent him away with her power…at the cost of the man being able to kill her."
"And you? How did you survive?"
"She sent me away just the instant before her demise," the being informed, "However, in her haste, she was able to tap into a power she once had originally. I was sent a mere two hours ahead…and it was like this. All life, extinguished." The being sighed as their golden gauntlet lightly traced the ashen sands around them, "That includes something that I need in order to remain alive myself."
"The nanites."
"Yes. Though…I must say that you are a strange one. You have no nanites within you, yet you are clearly not something natural to this world."
"I am Master Hand. My goal here was to gain allies."
"…The two who killed this world…Are they involved with whatever you are fighting?"
"Yes. From what we have been given, the woman would most likely be the woman Phantom while the man…Was the color of his hair green?"
"No. However, he did tend to use even his blood as a weapon."
Master Hand 'nodded,' "He is also a member of the group whom we are to do war with." He moved closer to the figure, "Your name?"
"…Kleiss, Doctor Van Kleiss. I was the former leader of the land of Abysus," the man informed.
"…Van Kleiss. I have heard much about you. Cunning and manipulative, you do not hesitate to seize opportunities to further your own plans," Master Hand informed, "You are cold and ruthless when it comes to achieving your goals, even turning your own men and women into stone after draining their nanites." Master Hand circled Van Keliss, "You talk in a polite manner most of the time, even during battle or while taunting his opponents, even having a somewhat humorous side to yourself. However, your polite attitude is just a way to hide the darker side of your personality, and have been able to trick many people at first before seeing your malevolent nature." He snapped himself as the device Van Kleiss had behind his back faded to dust, "You are an apt planner, something my brother and I can agree upon. We have lived since our creation by Arceus in order to maintain a sense of comradery-of balance. Your goals, though hidden from others, are seen in your Ideals and Truth. I was created from Ideal while my brother from Truth. We both know what your goals are and where they will lead no matter the path you choose to take to get to them."
"I see…Then I have nothing that will allow me to let you think otherwise."
"Yes…Which is why I offer you to be a member of the group that is being revived; The Army of Tao."
"Army of Tao? Do tell…Master Hand, was it?"
"Paper?" Master Asia offered as Carolina entered the dining hall.
"You get news here?" Carolina asked.
"You can thank Smash World," Megaman informed, "It's a special newspaper that is made from the news in the home worlds of everyone who's a member of Ryuusei Dan." He looked back in the paper, "Looks like Luffy's bounty went up."
"Ace is going to be ecstatic at learning that," Master Asia chuckled, "Hmm...Says here he took down a 'Shichibukai.' Interesting..."
Carolina raised a brow, "Who's Luffy and why does he have a bounty?"
"Ace's brother," Megaman informed as Carolina looked at the newspaper she had been given, "He ate a fruit that turned his entire body into rubber at the cost of him being able to swim."
"Does Ace have that issue?" Church asked, appearing on Carolina's shoulder to look at the bounty page, "…Are you sure this is right? The guy looks too much like he's carefree to do all this."
"That's Luffy for you," Megaman rolled his eyes, "First met him and his crew in the last Smash Tournament. Shame one of the guys I knew wasn't there. Then again, it was a good way to avoid confusion."
"Excuse me?" Carolina raised a brow.
"It's nothing important," Megaman shrugged, "By the way…isn't today Saturday, Master Asia?"
"Indeed," the elder fighter nodded, "38 and 39."
"I'll tie us up this time," Megaman smirked.
"You wish," Master Asia grinned.
"Are we missing something here?" Church asked.
"You wanna try, Carolina-san?" Lan offered as everyone was in the Gundam Bay.
"Try what?" Carolina asked, raising a brow, looking at the Gundam in fascination, 'They're like the Prototype to the Mjolnir Armor, but much bigger…'
"It's Saturday," Lan replied, "Saturdays are Gundam days."
"That's those big robots you've got in here, right?" Church asked.
"Yep!" Lan grinned.
"…We'll be there as soon as we can," Church stated.
"Epsilon?" Carolina raised a brow.
"Aside from fleeing from two crazy girls trying to delete me, those things aren't all that bad," Church assured.
"Okay! Let's go!" Puru cheered.
=We're all ready up here in the observation deck= Matsu informed.
"Okay! Let's get going!" Ace ordered as he got into Gurren while Simon got into Lagann.
"So which one are you gonna pick?" Lan asked.
"Not sure," Carolina shrugged.
"Already got mine," everyone turned to the Shining Gundam as it waved.
"Dammit, Church!" Carolina barked.
"What can I say? This one I've worked with before, so I'm sticking with it," Church shrugged.
"…It doesn't fire anything, does it?"
"It's more of a close combat suit, like GekiOh," Lan compared as he motioned to his GekiTohja-themed Gundam.
"Good. He's terrible with guns."
"HEY! …Yeah," Church slumped.
"It does have guns in the helmet, though," Allenby pointed out, "However, since it's Saturday, the shots are replaced with ones that temporarily disable movement in machines. Though, with Gurren Lagann…"
"And it's two pilots whose combined willpower overpower the stunners," Yoko added, glaring at a sheepishly and innocently whistling Ace and a blushing sheepish Simon.
"…having issues, we tend to get Ace and Simon to agree to just letting go of the controls for the thirty seconds of paralysis the shots normally have," Allenby continued, "And, again, Al, you lost the Rock, Paper, Scissors, so you can't operate Gurren this week."
"It's Alexander…" Alexander grumbled as he got into the basic Gundam they had before it turned into the hulking yellow robot Alexander was also known to use.
"Remember; fire only the stunners," Jasmine reminded her husband as she entered their Dragon Gundam, the green replaced with red with medical crosses on the torso and shoulders.
"I think I'd rather observe first before deciding on joining in or not," Carolina informed.
"Oh, goody!" Leeron grinned, "You can observe from the viewing bay with us."
Matsu nodded, "It would be nice for the opinion of another soldier on the training."
"Quick question; why do you do this?" Church asked.
"So no one gets rusty with operating them," Master Asia replied.
"Okay, why would you…?"
"We've been to a few Sekai where giant robots were involved," Maylu informed.
"Really now?" Carolina questioned.
"Eeyup," Lan replied.
"We've got reports that robots are fighting in the upper limits of the stratosphere," a Plumber informed.
"It's fine. The group that's visiting our world is doing a training day," Grandpa Max assured before bringing up an image of the fighting, "See?"
"Oh! That one's shooting from his helmet...and...and did all the shots just miss despite how close they are?"
"…Did you seriously miss me when I'm this close?" Nobel asked, not even a few meters away.
"Can I get a little help here?" Church awkwardly asked, his helmet guns clicking to signify them being completely spent, before Burning Gundam slammed into Nobel, throwing her spiraling back, "Thanks!"
"No problem!" Burning Gundam replied with a pump of her fist, "Musubi loves Saturdays!"
"Hey, uh, kid? Is this…?"
"Perfectly normal for her," GekiOh replied before his legs went limp.
"Got ya, puru!" Puru cheered from her Gundam before her limbs shut down, "Aw~!"
"Keep trying, Puru-chan," Rose Gundam giggled before elegantly dodging the attempted strike from Gurren Lagann.
"She's really good with that Gundam," Simon noted.
"You said it. I think it's because her favorite alcohol is that rose wine she drank in the archipelago," Ace noted before a warning went off and he barely had Gurren Lagann avoid the bits sent by Rose Gundam, "Dammit, Kazehana!" Gurren shook a fist, "That's tricky, dammit!"
"Tricky?" Lagann repeated.
"Last time I said 'cheating' to her, she blew Tsukiumi's skirt up before me and I was pummeled by Lan after being soaked by her Water Hydra."
"…Why'd you call that out?" Lagann paled.
"Eh, she was using the wind to make my hat fall over my face and she'd peek at my cards," Gurren replied as they continued dodging laser shots.
"So…do they always fight in space?" Carolina asked as she, Matsu, and Leeron watched the fighting.
"No," Leeron replied, "We also make sure that they can handle land-based combat by having the maximum amount of people on the planet we're around to get that barrier destroyed."
"How many worlds have you been to?" Carolina asked.
"About twenty. Some only took a day, others a month or so," Matsu shrugged.
"Our record shortest time was roughly a single hour," Leeron noted.
"Just an hour?" Carolina raised a brow.
"It was actually a ship that had it," Leeron informed, "Turns out that something known as 'The Intruder' was causing the barrier. The AI that lived on it were quite interesting as well. They send out little robots that secretly watch these interesting worlds and set them up as a programming block."
Matsu giggled, "We have a permanent free subscription thanks to Lan-tan and Ace-tan working together to incinerate it with TOM-tan. We tend to watch it on Sunday and see what could be done differently in each 'episode.'"
"So you gather intel with this 'programming block,'" Carolina surmised.
"Bingo~!" Leeron winked before they all heard a feminine scream.
"…Dammit, Church," Carolina sighed.
"Okay, minna, we've gotten permission from the Plumbers to use the Sahara Desert as a place to do the field practice. This week, it's between Nobel Gundam and Burning Gundam," Matsu informed.
"Yatta!" Musubi cheered, Burning Gundam pumping its fist in time with her own.
"Hoo boy…" Allenby gulped before a screen showing GekiYang came up beside her.
=You'll do nikiniki, Ally-chan!= GekiYang assured.
"You think so? So far, when the two of us spar normally, I'm the one that's flat on my back and sore while she wants to keep going," Allenby muttered as she looked at a screen that showed Musubi in her form-fitting mobile trace suit, pink and white in color with Sekirei wings traced on her back near the shoulder blades, 'That and she's got the better figure between me, Maylu, Kazehana, Matsu, herself, and Tsukiumi.'
It was something of interest to note in that of the six girls Lan was with, the six were both evenly and unevenly divided in many things. One such was that while Matsu, Kazehana, and Tsukumi's abilities were all long/mid-distance fighters and Maylu, Allenby, and Musubi's were close range fighters, Tsukiumi was developing a fighting style based on combining all three ranges. Allenby rubbed her thigh, her mind subconsciously recalling the last spar she and the Water Sekirei had showed that Tsukiumi was learning how to use Rain Flames.
'That still doesn't seem physically possible; setting water on fire with flames made of dying will that act like rain,' Allenby thought.
=I know you'll do great, Ally-chan!= GekiYang beamed, giving her a thumbs up =Musubi might be great at normal fights, but you know a lot more about Gundam=
"…" Allenby giggled, "You always seem to know the right thing to say. Though, why aren't you gonna try to say something to Musubi?"
=She's already motivated and I think you needed it more than her at the moment= GekiYang shrugged.
"That and it's her night alone with you," Allenby pointed out.
GekiYang nodded. Allenby rolled her eyes. She did enjoy the nights with him. Sometimes, they just cuddled, sometimes they'd spend time just talking about things, at times it'd be sharing the silence of the room, and every once in a while…
=Uh, Ally-chan? Are you feeling well? Your face is turning red= GekiYang noted.
"I-I'm fine," Allenby replied.
"Oh, before I forget. Ally~!"
"Allenby, dammit Leeron!" Allenby snapped.
"We need you to come onto the Loading Bay of the WhiteBase Dragon. We've finally finished something built just for Nobel Gundam. Though, you will have to give it a name."
"A name?" Allenby blinked.
"So this is why you wanted it to be in the Sahara," Heero noted as he watched the Plumbers set up some recording devices while Burning Gundam was sitting down, Musubi sitting on its shoulder and drinking a bottle of water.
"We're just making sure that whatever your Gundam units run on isn't poisonous to anyone on this Earth or the planet itself," Magister Max informed.
"Good idea," Rayne nodded, "Though…How goes Global Warming?"
"…" Magister Max frowned at Rayne.
"Hah~" Musubi stretched as she tossed the empty bottle into her hammerspace before getting into Burning Gundam, "Now where's Ally-chan?"
"…Oh! Pikapika!" Lan exclaimed as he looked towards the distance.
"What now?" Ben blinked in confusion.
"You see something shiny over there?" Maylu translated.
"Yosha!" Lan nodded before a blur shot by, kicking up sand to the point that a 'wave' of it crashed on the equipment.
"Aw come on!" a Galvan in a trucker hat and coveralls shouted.
The blur was revealed to be a jet of some sorts. As it shot into the air, parts of it broke away from its main form, including the front of the vehicle. The remaining part's upper half spun around, revealing it to be a Gundam torso and its waist. A pair of yellow Gundam feet connected to it followed by small arms and hands. A round shield shaped like a cheetah's head connected to the left arm while a gun was grabbed by the right hand. The front of the jet connected to the top and the upper half flipped back, revealing the face of the small Gundam while the remaining parts connected to the back to make a jetpack of sorts.
"Nobel Gundam Chi, ready!" GekiYellow declared from the small Gundam, half the size of a normal Gundam.
"You made your Gundam tiny?" Burning tilted her head.
"Sure. Let's go with that," Nobel replied with a shrug.
"Ikuze!" Lan called out, starting the spar.
"S-So…You've been traveling with Saito-san for a while now?" Takashi looked up from the window he was looking through to look at the busty blonde he was sitting across from…the pink-haired guy beside her having his head out the window, groaning.
"I've known him for roughly a year and a half now," Takashi replied as he looked down at his Sengoku Driver, "It's because of him, Mirajane, Flare, and Akitsu that we were able to survive when the end came to our home."
"I still can't believe she's a dragon," Takashi looked down at the blue talking cat sitting by him.
"Yeah. Took me for a loop. For the whole year before they saved us, I always thought Flare was just a normal girl," Takashi admitted, "He's going to be okay, right?"
"I…think so?" Lucy replied, "I've only known him for a few days now."
Takashi nodded, "So what can you do? I know that Natsu can fight with fire and eats it to recover like Saito can darkness and lightning."
"Well…I can summon Spirits," Lucy explained, holding up a ring of keys, "I'm a Celestial Mage, who uses keys to summon Celestial Spirits to help me fight."
"Sounds like Shizuka-nee and her Skylanders," Takashi noted.
"Skylanders?" Lucy repeated.
"You'll have to ask Shizuke-nee. She knows more about them than anyone else," Takashi shrugged.
"You sound like you're close to her," Happy noted.
"Well…even though she was the school nurse, she was always watching out for most of the kids at my school, some more than others," Takashi explained, "With Akitsu and Mirajane there as well and how they all acted together, it felt more like hanging around with three older sisters than three school nurses whenever someone had to go to the school infirmary." His eyes lowered a bit as his memories of the past came, "We lost so much when those undead beings came…friends, family, our homes…"
"You'll fit into Fairy Tail," Happy noted, Takashi looking at the now somber cat, "Everyone in Fairy Tail has lost something or someone precious."
Takashi nodded as the train began to stop, "Looks like we're at our stop."
"FREEDOM!" Natsu roared as he jumped out the window and began to kiss the snow-coated ground.
"He really hates trains…" Takashi sweatdropped.
"It's really weird, huh?" Lucy sweatdropped as well.
"Aye," Happy nodded.
'How did I get roped into this again? Oh yeah…Mirajane asked me and Lucy to go with Natsu when that guy's kid ran off after punching that old short guy in the face when he didn't tell him where his dad was or when he'd be back…' Takashi thought before shivering, "D-Damn! I didn't think it'd be this cold…!"
"Y-Yeah!" Lucy agreed as she hugged herself, shivering.
"H-Henshin!" Takashi declared.
=ORANGE ARMS – HANAMICHI ON STAGE!=
"Phew…That feels so much warmer," Gaim sighed in relief.
"N-No fair!" Lucy shivered.
"Must be the spandex," Happy noted.
"It's not spandex!" Gaim barked.
"Wow! You're really fast!" Burning chirped as she dodged another set of lasers from Nobel's flying mode, "ERUPTING! BURNING! FINGER!"
"Thanks, but I'm not done yet!" GekiYellow declared, "Super Beast On!"
At that declaration, Nobel Gundam Chi's body broke apart, barely avoiding the fire-engulfed fist. The funnels connected to the shoulders and waist, turning into larger arms and legs for the hands and feet to connect to, as the main piece of the backpack connected between the torso and waist of the SD Gundam to form a more feminine body for a regular-sized Gundam. She tore her head off, exposing the original Nobel Gundam's head minus the 'hair' until it was reattached from the larger head, the larger head turning back into the rocket that combined with what remained of the original backpack to connect to the back. Kageki erupted from the funnels and the engines on her new backpack as her shield connected over her torso to complete the new torso.
"Nobel Gundam Chi: Full Mode!"
"Gekiwaza: Shining Burst!" Super GekiYellow declared.
The cheetah on Nobel's torso shined before letting out a 'roar' that formed into a golden beam that rocketed at Burning Gundam, slamming into her and knocking her away from the now full-sized Gundam and through several dunes.
"A-Amazing," Rook gulped, seeing the sand had turned to glass from the intense heat of the beam.
"…Ow…" Burning groaned as she began to get up, her armor hissing from being heated up, "It's hot in here now…" a shadow came over her, "Huh?"
That was all she got out when a fist tore right through her Head Unit. Nobel stood up, removing her fist from what remained of the Burning Gundam's Head Unit as it shut down. Steam began to come off the Gundam before her body collapsed into pieces that reformed into its SD Form. Inside, Allenby fell onto her bottom, panting heavily.
"Okay…Note to…self…" Allenby panted, "Don't use…that mode…until I…increase my…kageki." A tap came from outside, making Allenby look on a screen to see Musubi tapping on her Gundam, "…" a few moments later, she managed to open the torso and poked out, "Yes?"
"That was awesome!" Musubi beamed as she jumped up and hugged the bluenette with a spin, "Your Gundam got an awesome upgrade!"
"Th-Thanks, Musubi," Allenby blushed at the praise.
"Please tell me we got some of that," Magister Max looked at the two Galvans.
"A bit," the shorter of the two replied.
"Good," Magister Max nodded before looking over at Rayne, "Will you need help with the…" his question trailed off at seeing Bang and Ace working together to lift up the Gundam, "…How strong is your team?"
"Not strong enough, not fast enough, and not skilled enough," Rayne cryptically replied.
"Is there something important that they need to still get stronger for?"
"War," Rayne replied, "Mind if we come with to your base to do repairs on Burning Gundam?"
Magister Max nodded, a frown on his face. A war…what kind of war was this young girl before him talking about?
"...Why am I not surprised? I mean...Saito warned me about his stupidity...but this takes the cake…" Gaim sighed as he and Lucy watched Natsu be punted out of a hole in the cave by a gorilla-like monster with a horn on its head.
"No like men, only women!" the gorilla monster hooted as he turned to see Gaim, "Hm?"
"Uh…"
"FOOD!" the monster roared, lunging at Gaim.
"Shit!" Gaim rolled out of the way of the lunge while pulling out a Lockseed with a pineapple on it, "You want fruit? Then let's try some pineapple."
=PINE!=
A zipper appeared above him and unzipped a circle in the air. The 'air' in the unzipped circle peeled back to expose a forest inside of the circle that lowered a metal pineapple from it. He unlocked the Orange Lockseed and the orange armor shattered, exposing his bodysuit beneath. He inserted the new one, locked it in, and chopped it, causing it to open.
=PINE ARMS – FUNSAI! DESTROY!=
The Pineapple crashed down on his head before opening up into new armor with bulkier shoulder guards and a pineapple slice replacing the orange slice in his visor. A green topknot resembling a pineapple's leaves completed the look while his Daidaimaru was replaced with a backgammon themed after a pineapple.
"Another fruit-themed armor?" Lucy pondered.
"It seems to be the motif, yeah," Gaim sighed before the gorilla monster slammed a fist into his face.
"Takashi!" Lucy gasped before her eyes widened as he didn't move an inch.
"Oi…" Gaim moved his head despite the force the monster was putting into its fist, "That...barely hurts." He swung his pineapple-themed weapon and it smashed into the monster's gut, sending it crashing into a wall, "...Okay, so Pine Arms is stronger in defense and attack. But I guess I'm a lot heavier wearing this, so I'm not as fast..."
"This is your first time using that!?" Lucy gawked.
"Yep," Gaim replied before they heard the monster roar, "And I think I made it mad. Sorry."
"TAKASHI!" Lucy barked.
"Oh, there's a slot in the handle," Gaim ignored her before pulling out his Muso Saber and sliding it into the slot, "Nice. It's a kusarigama now. GH!" he grunted as he was knocked over by a thrown frozen stalactite, "Okay...angry Lapin means it throws big heavy things at me…"
"Ah~Gomen nassai, Master Hand, but I cannot…"
"You help and I'll remove the ability that will kill you."
"…" the 'man's' yellow face turned purple, "Even if I do agree, I cannot leave. I have important students to look after."
"Class E, the assassination classroom," Master Hand noted, in his human disguise, as he looked at the classroom filled with students, all of them trying to shoot the wall of clear drills Master Hand had set up, "I only need an hour a day of your time. Perhaps after classes."
"Hmm…" a two-fingered tentacle rubbed the chin area of the rounded head, "Interesting. However, I still have to decline."
"I will remove the bomb still, if you want to," Master Hand offered.
"Hmm…Maybe."
Master Hand nodded, "Your students…even though they're trying to kill you, their eyes all tell a different story."
"Oh! You noticed? Then again, you are the literal Right Hand of God. When you told me the truth to what you and your brother were two years ago, it was really a shocker," the 'man' chuckled, "Still, my students are just so wonderful, aren't they?"
"Still can't hit a guy moving at Mach 20, though."
"Only three people have been able to do that; though I count you and your brother as one since you're both a hand in reality."
"And the other two?"
"…" the 'man' sighed at that, "They somehow knew this would come. Very well. One hour at midnight every night. And please, call me Koro Sensei. My students all gave me it and I find it a wonderful name."
"Koro Sensei…Heh. It fits you, old friend."
Koro Sensei nodded as the wall went down once the last of the bullets were fired, "Minna-san~! This is my old friend, Master Hand. He's visiting today to see how well you are doing in class and is providing free lunch from a place called 'Gourmet World' for everyone to try!"
"How did you know I brought food from Gourmet World?"
"I smell Zebra on you."
"Oh…" Master Hand went straight-faced on that, "Fair enough. Still can't believe you actually had the guts to spank him."
"He was quite rude and cocky," Koro Sensei replied, "Still…He nearly did kill me with that Voice of his." He turned to his class, "Minna-san, today we will not be going over normal curriculum, but a brief moment to talk about the Zones, headed by my old friend Master Hand here."
"NANI?!" Master Hand facefaulted, "Oi! Do you know how much I'll get into for this with those guys in the armor and the Zone Energy and the ouchies with weapons and the elements and the oh, you know what I mean?!"
"Even those guys can't hit me unless they slow time down around them. Even then, I just move far away from them," Koro Sensei shrugged.
"Bat Credit Card."
"A BAT CREDIT CARD?!" Koro Sensei screamed, his entire body turning pitch black.
In the students, a blue-haired one was writing in his notebook 'NEVER say the words 'Bat Credit Card' around Koro Sensei.' Said teacher was currently trying everything to cut down Master Hand, who was equal in speed with the Mach 20-moving yellow octopus-like teacher while ranting.
"I KILL YOU! I KILL YOU! RAPE MY CHILDHOOD, WILL YOU?! I KILL YOU! I KILL YOU! DOES NOT COMPUTE! DOES NOT COMPUTE! RAGRAFRAGGA MAKKALAKKA PAKKA FLUCK!"
"If Crazy Hand were here for visiting, he'd be laughing right now," Master Hand noted as he erected a barrier around Koro Sensei, "Either that, or join in on trying to beat me up." He turned to the class as Kuro Sensei pulled out a jackhammer and began to try to break the barrier, "Well, it seems that I will be teaching you all today as an emergency substitute."
"What are you guys doing?" Lan asked as he watched the two Galvans working on Ben's Omnitrix.
"A basic checkup on the Omnitrix for Azmuth," Blukich informed.
"It's a monthly thing," Driba shrugged before the Omnitrix sparked, "That's not."
"Huh?" Lan and Ben pondered before the Omnitrix sent out a pulse, zapping Lan and knocking him over.
"Ah! Lan!" Ben yelped before blinking twice, "Hoo boy…Not again."
"So how goes everything?" Crazy asked, snapping himself.
"I've been to the list of sekai that Lord Philemon had me go to. Many of them no longer there because the planet is gone or never existed…" Master replied before sighing, "…or the populace was wiped out by a woman in purple robes that hid her face under a hood and either a little girl, a crazed man, a leopard demon, or a green-haired man in a fedora with butterfly knives."
"Well, that's the issue with the Amaterasu and its Continuum Shifts," Crazy noted as he kept snapping himself, "Shifts tends to add, subtract, alter, or do whatever to get better results. Still…Did you get anyone from the list?"
"I went to a few Sekai off the list and got some people we've seen before that have great potential," Master Hand replied, "And only Van Kleiss was left of the sekai Rex originated from."
"Ouch," Crazy cringed.
"Yes. However, his EVO creation skills will be good at making grunts for our army to train against," Master Hand noted, "Though it won't be enough, I fear."
"Makes me wish Reshiram were here. That way, she could just rip the Truth Magic right out of their clutches and make it forbidden for them to use it unless they give up all but a minute of their remaining life," Crazy Hand shrugged.
"That's not how it works."
"I am the living embodiment of all Mind Energy, brother. I know how Mind Energy works because I am Mind Energy," Crazy snorted, "And only Reshiram and her Disciple are capable of truly removing all Mind Energy from someone permanently…and the Disciple will be utterly exhausted to the point of passing out, leaving them open to surprise attacks for a week or two."
"So what are we dealing with?" Lan asked in annoyance.
"Well, this happens sometimes," Driba noted.
"No it doesn't," Blukich argued.
"At times during the process, feedback from the Omnitrix tends to temporarily alter someone's DNA," Rook explained, "You seem to be an Anubian at the moment."
Lan let out an annoyed growl. Currently, he was now seven feet even and covered in blue, black, and white fur. His head was more like a dog's head while his hands were now paw-like with all the same digits as a human's hands. He had been given a set of black robe-like police clothing to wear since his old clothes were currently too small for his new physical appearance.
"Aw~! You're a cute little doggy!" Musubi chirped as she started scratching his stomach, "Who's a good Lan-sama?"
"You are in so much trouble! Ahahahaha!" Lan laughed as he fell over.
"At least he's not aiming that at us," Ben whispered to Rook.
"I-hahahhaha-heard that, Ben!"
Once Musubi stopped and Lan settled down, the two Galvans went to work with Ben saying, "It'll be fixed once the update is done for the Omnitrix."
"Okay. So this is something we really need to fooooh~"
"Lan?" Ben turned his head to see Lan chasing around a red ball, sliding all over the floor.
"Musubi, this is serious!" Blukich groaned.
"Sorry," Musubi apologized with a giggle.
"My non-existent tail may be wagging, but I assure you I am very angry!" Lan laughed.
"Do you think he'll get it?" Driba asked.
"Nnnope."
"He got it," Rook informed as Lan walked up, ball in his mouth, before he spat it out and Musubi caught it.
"Do not! Throw! That ball!" Musubi threw the ball again, "Agai-oh yay!"
"Musubi, please!" Granpda Max frowned as Lan chased it once more, laughing before an alarm went off.
=It happened again= a voice on the PA droned.
"Why is that every time this glitch happens, the prisoners in here get turned into hybrids along with someone else?!" Ben facepalmed before the floor exploded, revealing a large amount of prisoners that looked to be hybrids of multiple creatures.
"How many are we dealing with?" Max gulped.
"A hundred," Driba replied.
"Give or take twenty," Drix added.
"About a hundred?" Lan asked, surprisingly calm as he removed his sunglasses, revealing his eyes were more feral.
"Exactly one hundred, if you want that to be confirmed," Church pointed out.
"Lan-kun?" Maylu pondered.
"Something up?" Allenby asked.
"The count is perfect," Lan noted.
"What?"
With that, Lan tossed his glasses into the air. He pulled out a black and red SP License and slid the button up to the top.
"Emergency! DekaMaster!" Lan declared.
He pushed the top button and it opened. When WhiteBase Dragon receives the call, they send the sturdy space metal, DekaMetal, and the DekaMetal quickly takes shape, completely covering the Boss, thus finishing the transformation. In an instant, Lan was instantly covered in a new Dekaranger form. It was a solid-black version of the Dekaranger jumpsuit with a silver '1' going up the right side of the front of the body from the right leg up. Beside the '1' was two red '0s' on the semi-bulky silver/blue armor that was also on his shoulders. His lower arms and legs were covered in silver/blue plating with red detailing on the tops of the legs and the bottom of the arms. He wore black combat shoes under the leg armor. The back of his belt sported his changer while his left hip held a rusted katana with the guard resembling a wolf with its mouth closed.
"Face On!" Lan almost howled, forming a silver/blue helmet based off a canine with the Dekaranger emblem on the forehead and sirens on the sides of the helmet, as the sunglasses landed.
"The legendary DekaMaster!" Max paled.
"One hundred evil villains to strike down!" Lan declared, his voice altered in a new voice, before he began to pose, "Jigoku no Banken (Hellhound of Hades)! DekaMaster!"
CUE: DEKAMASTER NEVER STOP
The sirens on his helmet began to flash and wail. Slowly, he brought his katana out, revealing the rust and cracks on it. Some of the hybrid prisoners saw the weapon and began to point and laugh mockingly.
"D-Sword Vega!" DekaMaster declared as he ran two fingers along the flat side of the blade.
The 'chains' on the 'wolf's muzzle' broke and releasing a stream of silver/blue energy that raced along the blade, everyone swearing that they heard something howl as the energy made its path. The prisoners all paled significantly as they witnessed the ruined blade was instantly repaired to the day it was created. DekaMaster assumed a stance with his blade.
"The best swordsmanship in the universe. It's only appropriate that you shall have a taste of it," DekaMaster informed.
One of the prisoners roared and they all charged. DekaMaster charged as well. All over, computer screens instantly changed to the Dekaranger emblem and then to a red '100.' In two swipes, the '100' instantly fell to '94.' Two more and it got to '90.' DekaMaster swung upwards diagonally and took the number to '80.' None of the prisoners were able to touch him with their new and old powers. '73' turned to '69' and then into an even '50.' Some tried to dog-pile on him, but they just made the number reach '30' all the quicker when it was added to his slow movements and precise strikes. He jumped into the air as all those he struck down sparked with silver/blue energy and exploded, revealing cards with the offenders sealed inside. The remaining 30 began to circle him with stolen Plumber Tech. DekaMaster looked around, a deep guttural growl in his throat. He blocked a slash from one before cutting down the 10 behind him. He then did a horizontal slash to take three down before performing a spin to slash the remaining 17. The countdown on all the screens accelerated and slowed down when they reached '5.' It beeped when it went through the remaining numbers before flashing red at '000.' The remaining 30 exploded and were sealed into cards.
"He…He sealed them into cards," Max gasped.
"Whoa! Where the hell was he when we were handling the Meta?!" Church exclaimed.
"Lan-sama is so cool!" Musubi cheered.
"You want to fight him again, don't you?" Allenby questioned...or...well...stated.
"Uhn!" Musubi nodded as DekaMaster picked up a card showing a tall, slender alien that seemed to be part Heatblast.
"Why is it always a Pyronite when it comes to you Psyphon?" Driba asked as he hopped onto DekaMaster's shoulder to look at the card.
"You won't keep me in here!" the alien growled, banging on the surface of the card.
"Yes, we will," DekaMaster replied.
"That's where you're wrong!"
"Eh?"
"I…had a backup…" Psyphon sneered.
"Nani?" DekaMaster gasped.
Another alarm began to go off. The screens changed to show the ground just outside the east of the city began to break apart before exploding. Erupting from the ground and erupted debris was a massive sphere-like machine with metal razor-sharp jaws, glowing red optics, and numerous metal tentacles that seemed to just destroy everything they could.
"Now go, Gigas 2.0! Destroy all of Bellwood!" Psyphon cackled in glee from the card.
"Is that all you have to say?" Psyphon looked at DekaMaster, "If that's all…then your ultimate machine will be easy prey!"
"What?" Ben gawked as DekaMaster turned to the elevator.
CUE: TOKUSOU SENTAI DEKARANGER OPENING
DekaMaster began to walk out, "The burning flame of my heart…" he turned his head to look at Psyphon, who whimpered a little, "…perhaps it is hell for evildoers." He opened his changer with the switch at the second level, "Tokusou Maneuver, DekaBase Crawler."
On the surface, one of the mountains near Bellwood erupted on a side facing away from the city. Sirens wailed loudly as a large white and blue vehicle erupted from the dirt-cloud. It seemed to be more of a building on treads with the front half sporting an item resembling a dog's head on the roof than anything. In the back, a pair of green-tinted searchlights rose from it. It began to move towards the massive steel sphere and knocking it away from the city with two green lasers from its searchlights. DekaMaster stepped out of Max's Plumbing Store and jumped into the DekaBase, landing in a black chair. Screens turned on all over, linking up with the WhiteBase Dragon.
"Minna, I'll quickly defeat Gigas 2.0."
=Eh?! That's easy to say, Lan-tan…= Matsu began.
=But just because you have a mobile base on the ground doesn't mean that it will be enough to handle this monstrosity!= Leeron added =Perhaps changing to GaoYang and summoning your GaoAnimals would be better!=
=It could be a one hit reversal= Master Asia noted as DekaBase halted.
=All SPD members…Right now, DekaBase is transforming from DekaBase Crawler to its final form= a recording emerged from all over inside of and outside of DekaBase Crawler in pure Japanese =Will the general members remaining quickly move to the safety zones= it then switched to an English recording =URGENT ORDER! FOR IMMEDIATE TRANSFORMATION OF THE BASE. URGENT ORDER! FOR IMMEDIATE TRANSFORMATION OF THE BASE=
In the area DekaMaster was in, the screens showed 'REFUGE OK' and DekaMaster nodded. He turned his chair away from the screen.
"Super Giant Maneuver, DekaBase Robo!" DekaMaster ordered.
=STANDBY FOR ROBOT POSITION=
Slowly, one of the frontal treads rose up and connected with a black part of the back treads. The other side copied the other movement.
=LEFT ARM. RIGHT ARM. GATE UNITED= they connected =ARMS SET=
"What's going on?" Ben gasped as he ran out with Rook, Musubi, Carolina, Allenby, and Max.
=BURST RIGHT POSITION. BURST LEFT POSITION= the 'dog head' split in two and began to lie down on their sides on the roof as, inside DekaBase, areas began to close up, open up, and rearrange =PARTS LOADED. ALL IS SETTLED. ALL SET UP. DEKABASE ROBOT, STAND UP=
Slowly, the base started to rise up. The speakers continued with 'DEKABASE ROBOT, STAND UP' until it fully stood up, revealing that it was now a massive robot, easily the size of SaiDaiOh if not even bigger. Inside, DekaMaster's controls and himself spun around while the area behind him closed up with a wall bearing the Dekaranger Emblem. Around him, five control stands rose from the ground as the area he was in lit up.
=HERE'S YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE=
The top flipped to the back, revealing the robot's head. The sides sported red sirens while the helmet was shaped to resemble a SWAT Team helmet with a large red visor and sculpted mouth and nose. The helmet was shaped to also resemble a dog's head with the middle of the 'muzzle' having the Dekaranger symbol.
=BLAST OFF!=
"It…It's a giant robot," Ben gawked, "A…Awesome…!"
"It…It's bigger than SaiDaiOh!" Allenby practically screamed, "Heck, it'd probably easily dominate the Devil Gundam when we first saw it for crying out loud!"
=Minna= DekaMaster's voice came from DekaBase Robo as its head turned to look down at them =It will be fine, but please go back down. You'll get hurt from me just taking a step. Ikuzo! The enemy's in front of me. Super Giant Machine Monster, Gigas 2.0!=
With that, DekaBase Robo took a single step…and the ground around it exploded a little to the robot. In the Plumber Base and the WhiteBase Dragon, everyone saw this and Matsu practically had a trail of something go down a leg as she began to fidget in place in pure excitement at the powerful mecha she was watching. Oh, the things she would do to her Ashikabi-tan~… DekaBase Robo took another step and the process repeated itself.
=Knee Brace Beam!=
Each time it took a step closer, the 'searchlights' that were on its knees fired. Each one hit and tore a little of Gigas 2.0's body open. It roared and charged at DekaBase Robo.
=Finger Missile!=
'Claws' emerged from the fingers of DekaBase Robo. The 'claws' shot off and destroyed all its enemy's tentacles. The sirens began to blare as it assumed its final stance.
=Power Max! Volcanic Buster!=
The gold torso armor began to spark with gold energy along with the energy appearing on its Knee Brace Beams. The energy instantly fired into a massive beam shaped like a dog's head and tore apart Gigas 2.0 with relative ease.
=Got you!= DekaBase Robo declared as it saluted =With this, case…complete!=
"Ugh..." Saito looked up from his stack of papers to see Takashi walk in.
"So how'd it go?" Saito asked.
"It turns out that those gorilla monsters on that mountain knew Mirajane's thing and took over the guy. Once Natsu and I pummeled it, the gorilla died and freed the guy," Takashi replied, "...This is the new norm for me, isn't it?"
"Probably," Saito shrugged.
Takashi sighed before looking at Saito's desk, "What's with the papers?"
"Registration forms for everyone so the council will not get so pissy at Fairy Tail for having illegal immigrants working for them," Saito replied, "And because I'm next in line to be the leader of Fairy Tail, I have to do this in triplicate."
"I don't feel sorry for you at all."
"Gee...Thanks…" Saito deadpanned.
"Ugh...This is so boring! Not manly at all!" Zekrom groaned as Takashi left to see Saeko and Rei.
'I don't get it. Can't you, oh I don't know, become a ghost to look around outside my body?' Saito pondered.
"Nope. I'm stuck in your head unless you're in a mind meld thingy like with Sis's Disciple and Bro's Disciple," Zekrom snorted before sighing, "Really wish I had my pet…"
'Pet?' Saito paused in his writing.
"Yeah! We each made a pet from the energies we made," Zekrom explained, "Reshiram used Mind Energy to give them all Psychic powers with immunity to anything Mind Energy related, I gave one the raw steel body capable of tanking anything while the other I made a body akin to a ghost, and Bro gave them the power to breach into alternate universes and even have them fuse together with the third one we made that Kyurem carefully sculpted by himself with the only help we gave was pouring our energies into it to make it the leader of the three."
'So which was yours?'
"The Moonlight Bat that I named Lunala. We even gave her and Reshiram's lion the ability to make a baby that would turn into either of them depending on day or night with night becoming Lunala,"Zekrom informed, "Though...I have no idea what happened to them and I have no clue if Bro ever finished making his pet's final form or not…"
'I think I understand...So what does the child of Lunala and Lady Reshiram's pet look like?'
"Oh. Well...It looks like a tiny puff of smoke with a baby face and pom-poms on noodles as hands."
'...Huh?'
"When you come in here for meditation, I'll show ya what it looks like."
"Welcome back," Jasmine greeted, "Everything go well down there?"
"Yep, Onee-sama!" Lan beamed as he held up a capsule with a push button on the top, the emblem of the DeakRangers on a side, "They were able to store the DekaBase inside of this Capsule so I can carry it around with no troubles."
"That's great to hear," Jasmine nodded.
"It was so cool!" Musubi beamed, hugging Lan from behind, "It was shooting lasers and missiles and everything!"
"It was a bit overkill with that last attack, though," Allenby noted, "And the thing was so heavy it left deep footprints in the ground that nearly dropped it into Undertown."
"We noticed," Jasmine replied, "They sent a bill for repairs and thank goodness Master Hand gave us a universal debit card with unlimited budget on it."
"Gomen nassai," Lan rubbed the back of his head.
"Anything else happen?" Jasmine asked.
"Oh! I can do a new trick!" Lan grinned before his body glowed and was replaced with the Anubian form, attire and all, "See?"
"...Huh?"
"Yeah...Blukic and Driba made a bit of an error and instead of purging it from his body, they caused him to be able to switch between the two," Allenby explained.
"...Testing."
"Hm?" they looked at the purple-haired woman.
"We are going to run tests right this instant to make sure you're okay, Lan."
"Hai, Onee-sama," Lan nodded.
"And don't you try to say 'no' to this, I...wait...what?"
"Well, you're worried about what this could do to me, right?" Lan asked, motioning to his new form and shifted back to his normal self, "As long as they aren't needles involved, I don't mind doing tests to make everyone feel better."
'...Seriously, why was my Lan never like this?' Jasmine thought in exasperation before nodding, "Okay, but just to warn you, there might be needles but I'll sedate you before taking them, okay?"
"Okay," Lan nodded before moving to the side and letting Matsu tackle Musubi and start giving her a French kiss, "Hiya, Ma-chan. Guess you saw the new robot, huh?"
"From how she hasn't realized yet she's tonguing Musubu and not you, I'd say yeah," Allenby nodded.
GammaTron: Uh...Hi? *runs away from the angry mob* Sorry! Sorry! Gomen nassai! I know it's been too long since the last update, but I just couldn't think of anything! But just to let you know, next chapter will be the last one of this Sekai and then we're moving on.
