I am finally posting the rewritten version. I'm sorry for the wait. For Reminiscence, I am going to try to get together with AnimeAru to make it cracky. The next chapter is supposed to be like a crack fic. When we team up, we pull it off well. I just have had the passion to rewrite this recently. It will have more scenes, everything will make sense, most grammar errors are fixed, and it's properly researched. Plus, i am going to fit more in each chapter. Yay! it won't be 70 chapters! So, i hope you like it. I'm sorry if you don't. When i first wrote this, i had just realized how much i love this pairing, and like more than half of the stories i have written, was going to be private. But when i couldn't find a story with the same plot, i decided to go for it. not much thought was put into the original. This one has A LOT of thought and effort. So please review telling me what you think. I do not own Hetalia. All the facts used belong to the Hetalia Archives. enjoy the crappy rewrite!

Belarus had always loved Russia. She had always loved him a little too much. But one day Russia couldn't take it anymore. She at one point, had stolen all his underwear, stolen and or used all the toothbrushes she could find, and not to mention all the disgusting photographs she had taken. She would normally spend her time digging through his trash. Every night she wore his underwear as a nightcap before she went to sleep. And the diary entries. Oh, the diary entries! It was like reading a pornographic novel! But right here she was standing, always following him around like a little puppy. Or rather chasing him like a police dog. Here, in the living room was where he finally snapped. He was cornered. There was no escape.
"Belarus, please go away," he begged.
"Come on. you know you want to. Don't resist!" she said. He was cornered. He had no other choice.
"BELARUS! LEAVE!" he screamed. He then struck her across the face. It was so hard that it left a large red mark on her cheek. It started to bleed a little. "Please. Just leave! I don't like you that way! I never will! Why can't you ever just go away?! Why can't you just leave me alone?! I hate you!" he screamed. He began tearing up. "This isn't normal! This isn't what little sisters are supposed to do! This is b-beyond incest! Think about it! Think about why you don't have any friends! Everyone is terrified of you!" You could almost hear her heart break. He had never said he hated her before. He had never hurt her like this. His expression changed. "Belarus… I'm-"
"Brother. I… didn't know you…" she started, "But if that is how you feel, I'll leave you alone..."
"Natalya I-"
"Farewell Brother." She ran out of the room.
"Belarus I'm sorry! Don't-" he then heard the door slam. He sighed. She was probably going to America's house now. Then she would side with him, and Russia would be left all alone again.

It was pouring rain. Lightning crackled and boomed in the background. Lithuania had just bought some stuff for Russia. He was hardly sheltered by the umbrella he had. He sighed. He wished to be a great nation again. Like he was when he and Poland ruled. It was raining so hard, he could barely see. He then saw one lonely person outside in the rain. He could just barely make out a figure through the massive downpour that sounded like it would rip through the large umbrella. He went up to the figure who was just sitting on a curb.
"Hey, if you sit out here in the rain you'll catch a-" he stopped. He saw that it was the girl that he had been trying to impress for years. Belarus. As usual, she didnt seem to hear him. The rain was too loud. She looked heartbroken, but there were no tearstains on her face. He sat next to her. His umbrella shielded her, even though she was already soaked. She finally looked up. He smiled. "Come on, lets get you home," he said.
"No!" Lithuania was puzzled. She explained what had happened. "I never knew Russia felt that way. I never knew he'd hurt me like that. He even told me he-he hated me," she said, "And it hurts. When you realize that the man you love not only doesn't love you back, but HATES you. He even smacked me. I felt like dirt. He has never done that before." Lithuania sighed.
"Well, he does that. A lot. Mostly it's vodka, but other times he-" his phone started to ring. "Sveiki? Lietuvos Respublika?" he answered the phone, "…Oh, um sure. Of course…So how long will you be gone?…Okay d-do you need anything else sir-… Ok I will… Well have a nice time, I'll see you in a few days…Yes, I hope she shows up too…You are welcome. Good bye." He clicked off his phone.
"Russia?" Belarus asked. Lithuania nodded.
"He has a meeting with Finland and asked me to take care of the house and find you," he explained, "Lets go home now so you don't get sick."
"W-Why are you helping me?" she asked.
"Because I greatly care about you," he said, "I don't like seeing you like this." She stopped again.
"I… I don't need your help, go away!" she snapped.
"Belarus, you can't keep avoiding all these people, they are only trying to help you. Can you please accept my help just one time? Please?" She looked down. She sighed.
"…Fine…"
He took her back to Russia's house where they both lived. Belarus went upstairs to get changed into something else. Lithuania was cooking something to help warm her up. She was upstairs in her room. She felt her eyes water. No. No you shouldn't cry. It's your fault. You don't deserve to cry, she told herself, he hates you for a reason. And only the weak shed tears. She smelled something downstairs and decided to eat later. Her head was spinning. Am I…not normal? Is it wrong to love someone? Was it wrong to love him? What is a normal little sister like? Is this why Russia has been running away from me all these years? Does he really…hate me? Does he wish I didn't exist? Does everyone think I'm that bad of a person? Am I really that horrible? Is it true no one wants to be around me? Does everyone…hate me? Is this why America kicked me out? I have friends though. I have my boss. I also have…Russia is right. I guess I don't have any friends, do I? She sighed. I guess people just don't like me. I'm not really a likeable person anyways. I guess no one likes me because I'm just… not normal. Not…normal. Belarus came downstairs wearing her soft, white robe. She smelled borscht. She sat at the table and tried to force a smile.
"I heated up some soup. I-If you want it that is," he said. She tried it. It made her feel warm inside. She still looked depressed.
"Sure. I guess borscht is…normal, isn't it?" she said glumly. He looked at her. She looked down. "I loved him," she said quietly, "This is all my fault." Just then, Lithuania snapped.
"How is it your fault?" Lithuania yelled, "It's not your fault! It's his! He is the one to blame! You have the right to cry, Belarus! Stop holding it in! Please!" She lowered her head.
"Lithuania?"
"Y-Yes?"
"…Thank you."
"Y-You're welcome."
"Can you relate to how I feel?" she asked, "have you ever been this heartbroken, Lithuania?"
"Actually, I have," he said, "but did you really love him?"
"What?"
"Belarus, think," he said, "What are some reasons you love him so much?"
"Brother is…big and strong," she thought for a moment, "I always feel so safe when I'm with him. He is a kind person… oh! and he bails me out whenever I need money. He is the largest country in the world and has a lot of power…Oh, and he has an amazing body and is very sexy. And has a very l-"
"I don't need that much detail."
"But…the thing I love most about him…is that I feel said I can tell him anything. I can't trust anyone else with anything. He is the only one who knows my hobbies and my feelings. He also knows almost everything about me. No one else knows me like he does. He knows every single detail and relates to me." Lithuania sighed. I can't compare with Russia! I don't even come close. I am weak and spineless. But I would do whatever it takes to keep her safe. I've always been nice to her. However, I'm broke. Hardly anyone knows my name. I'm just another blur on the map. Hardly anyone knows who I am. I can't say I'm very proud of my body either. But there is one thing I have that he doesn't. I actually listen to her! I don't just nod along. I know her. I've known her since we were children. I…love her. And I'm going to prove it. Here and now.
"Can I get something off my chest?"
"I don't see why not."
"There's… this girl I've liked for a while. People say she's…not very nice and that I should stay away from her because she's… well, she's just different from everyone else."
"What is she like?"
"She's very beautiful and rather… strange as some may say. But to me, she's just…different," he started off, "She tends to swear a lot. She loves occult things. She loves to read the Pravda a lot and she likes rock music. She's an amazing gymnast and has a very beautiful voice. She can see ghosts too." He paused for a bit. "She spaces out a lot. She ends up staring at a lot of things like flea remover or cardboard. Speaking of which she loves cardboard boxes. She once spent three hours staring at the white noise on a TV, and four hours on France's… thing," he continued, "she doesn't care for humans and doesn't understand their reason. She loves her boss." He got louder and more confident. "She values every little thing in life, and lives everyday as if it were her last. She questions who she is and why she is here and what her purpose is. She prank calls me on weekends. She loves haunted houses and is very interested in ghosts. She knows a lot of random facts such as the name of Paris Hilton's dog and other things. She cooks potatoes well. She is poor and works hard in the field everyday. Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs call her unsafe and have issued travel warnings on her. She even speaks Polish. She gets paranoid at certain times of the day." He smiled. "And every morning, she wakes up early around five and watches the sun rise. Every thing about her. All the pros and cons add up. And whenever I see her, I always feel a great smile spread across my face. Every time there is a chill in the air or when ever she is super glued to her brother or when I get that call from an Austrian mechanic on Saturday or when I look at my now very flexible fingers, it brightens my day. Because even if she doesn't even love me back, I still can enjoy the feeling in my heart."
"…L-Lithuania… is that… how do you know all that?"
"I've known you for a long time. And I actually listen to you when you talk," he replied.
"Lithuania…" she said, "You were right. I guess I'm too hard on myself," she said, "Things aren't fair, are they?"
"No. No they aren't. The big nations just sit around and drink vodka all day, while some of us are barely keeping stable and mooching off the crumbs!"
"Meanwhile some of us are starving!"
"While some of us are broke!"
"While some of us are completely dependant on those big nations!"
"While no one knows we even exist!" There was a silence.
"I want revenge. I want to rebel," Belarus said. Lithuania got a stunned look on his face.
"R-rebel? What-what do you mean?" he said.
"I mean do something that would get him really mad," she said. There was a strong passion in her eyes. "Now what is something he would kill me for?" she thought aloud.
"Please don't drag me into this," he prayed. She then smiled.
"I can't believe I was so blind," Belarus said, "You were always so kind and sweet to me. Everyone else is afraid of me. You were always there and I was too stupid to notice you."
"R-really?" Lithuania said. Something's up, he thought. "I-I have actually had a crush on you for a while," he said starting to turn red, "I-I-I think that-"
"Shut up. Please," she said. What am I doing? I hate this guy. But he's now one of Russia's most hated. But if I still loved him, Russia would be mine now. But I didn't… know he… he... She then threw caution into the wind. Her icy heart seemed to melt and forgive. She kissed him. He was shocked. The next thing he knew they were on the couch making out. This was his dream girl. He didnt even hear the door open. He felt a presence. He looked up and saw Latvia. He forgot he lived here too.
"Ok then. I'll just leave to go get food," said Latvia. He left.
"Oh I forgot, I have to return a call for some business with Poland. I'll be right back," said Lithuania. He went upstairs. She smiled. She then decided she wanted him to be hers. Forever. He was her new target. She aimed to achieve this goal. While he was in the middle of the conversation, Belarus came and lead Lithuania into her room. Lithuania didnt even notice her lock the door. She then just sat at the end of the bed until he was done. "Okay well that's over with," he said. She rushed up to him and kissed him. "Galėčiau tai padaryti visą naktį," he whispered.
"I think I love you," she whispered back.
"What?" he stopped shocked at what she had said.
"What?" she asked herself.
"Y-You just said you-"
"Did I?"
"Um…"
"What's going on? I think something's wrong with me," she said.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I feel… so warm inside. I don't know what's going on. I've never had this feeling before. Am I sick?" she asked. Lithuania stifled a laugh.
"You've never felt loved before? What about when you were a kid?" he asked. She blushed.
"I-I'm sorry," she said.
"No need to apologize," he laughed. He then turned serious. "Wait hold on," he said, "Do you really mean that or are you using me?"
"I think i mean it. Lithuania, I never knew it, but you were always there for me. You even stood up to Russia. You have earned it," she said. She began unbottoning his shirt.
"Wait wait wait wait wait! What do you think you're doing?!" Lithuania asked surprised.
"I want you to know that my love for Russia, is gone. It's all to you now," she said.
"That's great but I'm not ready for this," he said heading for the door. The door was locked from the outside and inside. Oh sh*t he thought.
"Come on, you know you want to. You're not taking advantage of me if that's what your worried about," she said. She tore off his shirt.
"Um…" he couldn't find any words. It all came out as a bunch of nonsense. he then thought for a moment. She wants revenge. So do I. But this is...it's wrong but...it just feels...right... He began kissing her again. He then melted into her embrace.
Belarus awoke in Lithuania's arms the next morning. The room was freezing. She snuggled closer to him for warmth. She buried her face into his chest.
"Добрай раніцы, маё каханне," she said. She kissed him on the cheek.
"Mmm… Labas rytas Belarus," he said still mostly asleep. His eyes then shot wide open. "B-Belarus?! W-w-what happened the other night?" Lithuania asked. Belarus chuckled.
"You don't remember?" she said. He trembled. He then remembered.
"D-Did we just– did we just–" he blushed madly, "Šūdas! Russia is going to kill me!"
"Relax! He's not going to be home for a few more days, remember?"
They then heard the front door open. Right on cue.
"Доброе утро! I'm home!" Russia called. Lithuania was about to freak out. Russia was home early! Belarus kept him quiet. They heard heavy footsteps coming up the stairs. Belarus slipped on her robe and stashed Lithuania's clothes under the bed.
"Hide!" she hissed. Lithuania his under the bed with his clothes. Russia knocked on her door.
"Belarus? It's 10:40. You normally don't sleep in," he said. She finally opened the door. "Oh for moment I thought you were still mad at me. I'm really sorry about-"
"It's ok. It was my fault," she said.
"No no. It was me. Sis, I-" he stopped. He looked at her and smiled. "What changed your mind, another guy?" She blushed. "Just don't go for Baltic," he said. Lithuania bit his lip.
"Out of curiosity, what would happen if I did?" Belarus asked. Lithuania trembled.
"Well I don't think you would stoop that low. The Baltics are my servants. If I caught anyone who is that low or spineless with you or Ukraine, I would slaughter them. They are weak. I don't care for the weak unless they serve me, da?" he explained. He then noticed something. "You did find someone new, da?" he said, "I can tell by the way you're dressed. You found new man and right now he is hiding in your room, da?" Damn he's good, Lithuania thought. Russia invited himself in. Belarus was a little nervous. "So where is he? I want to meet the guy who makes my sister happy," he said. What he really meant was: I have to thank this man profusely for saving me from her obsessiveness. I will be happy to finally have my underwear back.
"He um, just left," she said. Lithuania sneezed. Belarus smiled nervously. Russia smiled.
"Nice try," he said, "it's ok I won't Hurt you, I'm just happy someone's making my sister happy," he said. He grabbed a pair of legs from under the bed. He then, with a bit of struggle pulled out the man. He then recognized the terrified face of Lithuania.
