After the Battle of Earth and the Reapers finally defeated there were many restoration projects the galaxy quickly undertook. The first priorities were cleanup and repairs to the various worlds along with the restoration of the relay network that was used to destroy the Reapers. Many of the Reaper shells and drive cores were found to have lost their indoctrination properties and were used in the restoration efforts of the relays. Even Aria lent a helping hand with her influence in both the underworld and asari government. The geth managed to survive the Crucible pulse by creating a massive energy field projected by their ships' kinetic barriers set to a fluctuating frequency that counteracted the pulse wave. The geth who were still on Earth had transferred themselves to the ships before they left the system, leaving behind their bodies all huddled down and waiting to be reactivated.

The Mandalorians heavily assisted everyone however they could, especially with their Basilisks when it came to heavy lifting. They had truly become their own power now, with Mandalore giving up his Spectre status to focus on leading his people and maintaining his alliances with Aria and the various other species. They even took control of a few planets to call their own as their numbers quickly grew, along with their exclusive production of Basilisk wardroids, astromechs, and various other weapons and vehicles.

The batarians were slowly welcomed back to galactic society now that most of the old slaver ways had been abandoned and for their aid during the Reaper War. Particularly with Forta's sacrifice there was a major surge of batarians hoping to become a Mandalorian, a hero. The Mandalorians welcomed them, but like with any recruit they had to screen the weak and spies out to ensure loyalty and willingness to fight at each other's sides as brothers and sisters. And though there were still many lingering resentment felt between humans and batarians, for a time they were able to forget about much of it to reclaim some measure of power on the Citadel.

The turians supported the quarians agriculturally, as a means of returning the sacrifices they committed for ensuring the Hierarchy's ability to continue its operations on Palaven during the war. It was a much need aid since the quarians had lived for the past few centuries as space nomads, forcing them to focus on technological knowledge over agricultural techniques.

Though the galaxy as a whole would eventually forget the Mandalorian blood spilled during the war, the Mandalorians would forever immortalized their fallen, both past and future, never forgetting what they did no matter how small it seemed at the time.

Miranda and Oriana spearheaded many colonial reconstruction efforts where the Alliance and the other governments were too spread out to reach. The two sisters were very meticulous in their efforts, improving infrastructures for stable, controllable growth.

After the battle, Shepard was recognized for his heroic efforts to unite the galaxy and soon married his lover, Jack, as the two of them continue to have more adventures together including teaching the next generation of Alliance marines and the graduation of Jack's first class of students.

James took up Shepard's offer, having him be his mentor for the N7 program, quickly graduating and becoming a figure of peace and dedication. He made plenty of mistakes, but he took them in strides but they helped him become that much better of an Alliance soldier.

Major Kirahee personally saw to the Salarian STG separating themselves from the Dalatrasses and focusing on the survival of the Union first, especially after exposing Dalatrass Linron's treason. Dalatrass Narra has started talks with Urdnot Bakara and other female krogan, finding quite a collection of scholarly minds that could potentially rival asari matriarchs in both wisdom and age. It was an alliance she was very thankful to have established and foster early while aiding in their reconstruction and colonization efforts.

Wrex and Grunt both returned to Tuchanka as heroes, reigning a new age for the krogan people. No longer were they seen as simple mindless brutes, as Bakara and their females led a renaissance and rebuilt their homeworld back to a beautiful civilization once again. There were a few unruly warlords who wanted a resurgence to become conquers but were quickly quelled by Wrex and his many allies. Padok Wiks and other like-minded salarians continued Mordin's work on the krogan, ensuring healthy newborns and preventing a new genophage from seeing the light of day.

After all of the killing Zaeed finally retired on a sunny patch of a planet that the Reapers hadn't obliterated. He'd lounge the days away by the beach with a drink in hand and Jessie close by. Would be hotshots and wanna be mercenaries trying to build a name for themselves, attempting to challenge the old man, but he'd continue to whip them fairly quickly for disturbing him.

Samara started to visit her daughter Falere more regularly as the two of them reconciled for so many years apart. The new monastery took a slightly more relaxed approach to caring for future Ardat-Yakshi were they were more welcoming rather than treating them like they were diseased or monsters. Samara even proposed a rather radical idea of possibly allowing certain Ardat-Yakshi to attempt to become justicar. This of course was strongly resisted by the asari, but the dedication and meditation required of the Ardat-Yakshi to resist their urges could make them potential candidates given the strict and unyielding nature of the Justicar Code along with how justicar normally never left asari space.

Thane's sacrifice did not go unnoticed. The Citadel Council started to put resources to researching Kepral's Syndrome and possible cures. Kolyat eventually managed to settle down with one of the medical assistants who helped his father. She seemed to admire his dedication to his father and as a bonus she thought he was cute.

Kasumi had disappeared from the galaxy, with only whispers ever speaking her name. There were a few over the top heists with no one the wiser on who did it or why they stole what they did. Even the Mandalorians seemed to have lost contact with the master thief, but her legend continued to grow.

Despite his vigilante past and rough C-Sec record, Garrus had become Primarch Victus' most trusted advisor. Even with such a prestigious new role, Garrus led by example just as a particular human once showed him. He still managed to find some time to keep his eyes sharp and his rifle ready.

Jacob hung up his gun and soon became a history teacher. His students would often ask him questions about working with Shepard and the battles he fought during the Reaper War. Brynn and the other scientists under his charge joined the Alliance's R&D labs where their minds continued to help advance humanity.

Liara continued her role as the Shadow Broker, keeping her eyes closely on any activity from the Leviathans or any of the thralls they were given during the war. So far nothing seemed to be stirring, as though they were waiting for a new threat. Javik had joined Liara in her watchful duties of the galaxy, even as their book soon became a bestseller in the archaeological community and the hanar. The Prothean continued to complain every once in a while about a few oddities but he seemed to enjoy his moments of respite.

Tali and Legion continued to help bridge the relation between quarians and geth. Although the two were always seen with a stern human as he remained in the background, always watching. There were a few disturbances, though only the bias quarians who still had hate or mistrust toward the geth. Admiral Xen started to rally these quarians together, though at the moment they don't seem to be anything more than collective hate. Fortunately the geth have been able to mostly keep to themselves and not rise to these petty acts of aggression.

Ashley and Mandalore's relations strained due to their duties taking them away from each other and the considerable distance apart. As often as their work took them apart, they did managed to conceive a child before they ended up fighting over what would be best for him. Ashely allowed Mandalore to still be a part of their child's life, though he would be an Alliance marine when he was older.

With some assistance from Pyth, and a few willing asari assistants, the rachni slowly started to reintegrate into the galaxy. It would take a few decades before the queen started to allow Citadel representatives to come to her new home. Many had uncertainties over such an unusual race, especially with their history from the Rachni War, but with support from the asari and Mandalorians they were able to coax them out at their own pace.

Decades after that decisive battle life had finally started to feel normal again. Out on a distant world a lone farmer continued his work on planting the next set of crops for the coming season. The old man's pet varren was occupying itself with chasing down some of the little burrowing rodents that had been pestering the farmer, though the varren was just as destructive when it came to digging for the vermin.

The varren suddenly stopped its pursuit of a snack as it started to bark in excitement as it rushed off to a trio approaching the farmer. The quarians happily greeted the varren as it was rubbed and scratched by them, "We're happy to see you too, Epan."

The farmer got closer to them as the little one rushed off to hug his leg, "Grandpa!"

He easily picked the young one up, swinging her in his arms, "You've gotten so big, my verd'ika. How old are you now?"

She giggled in his arms as they swung around, "I'll be seven soon."

"Seven? We'll have to come visit on your birthday." After putting her down, the farmer turned to the girl's parents. He hugged them both, "How have you two been Jona? No problems with adjusting to living in a city instead of out in the country?"

"You make it sound like you live in the bonnies. You have other hands working on other fields, why don't you rest a little while?"

He brushed his trimmed white beard, "I'm not that old yet. And if my cyare can still keep the Admiralty Board in check and working with the geth, I can at least work a field."

Epan started snarling at something behind them, noticing a figure walking toward them. The farmer grabbed his mattock from his belt and stepped forward. The stranger was dressed like a Mandalorian, though alone and no word of any visiting Mandalorians had spread around as of late. Though it soon became apparent why as her Basilisk followed close behind.

The stranger walked straight to the farmer, extending a hand to him, "Copaani gaan, ba'buir?"

The farmer looked to Jona, "If you don't mind, I think this is something for just the two of us." As Jona took his family and Epan to the house, the farmer turned to examine this Mandalorian. She definitely carried herself like a prideful warrior, and everything he could see about her blue armor with orange strips seemed right, so now for some answers. "Me'copaani, adiik?"

She removed her helmet, revealing herself to be human, dark brown hair tied into a pony tail that he originally mistook for a braided trophy wrapped around her shoulder. "I'm your niece, Shala Tervho. I know you might not have been keeping up with the times with your brothers, farming and all, but we've gotten quite big."

Despite what she might think he had or had not heard, he had been in constant contact with all of his family and friends from before. He even knew who she was, though he never expected her to visit him. "Mandalore claimed and colonized both Virmire and Eingana as Mandalorian planets. Little rough with all the biotic animals on Eingana, but a sturdy city was build and some of the wildlife learned the benefits of their presence. Virmire still has radioactive hotspots but nothing they couldn't shield against and the remnants of Saren's base and outposts helped with fortifying their territory. They've added a few more planets in between. Don't know how many. And the General disappeared a few years back. Something about finding her new calling or other."

"You forgot to mention ba'vodu Araniik retired and a new Mandalore has taken his place. Bit of a hardass if you ask me, but she runs us tight. Never stays on one planet too long and keeps us all busy. Sometimes it feels like she's trying to run us like Aria does with her people."

"As to be expected from one of Aria's former workers. And like her, I don't like asking twice. You didn't come to Rannoch just to shoot the breeze with me."

Shala didn't seem all too upset about skipping the pleasantries, "Truth be told, I want to become a sharpshooter with the weapon buir gave me." She was displaying the WESTAR-M5. He could see this was the same WESTAR-M5 used by Aay'han since it had Aurebesh writing on all its labels and the carbine scoring on it. However that wasn't her father's weapon. To his knowledge, he had never used it before. "Don't get the wrong idea, he trains me daily and expects the best. But he always says that you were the best sniper he ever worked with and you were always ramikadyc, even back when you trained together on Kamino. So will you train me?"

"What about Kix or Hardcase, or any other dozen sharpshooters the Mandalorians have recruited by now?"

Shala didn't seem to realize Kix was a sniper, "That old turian? He's so busy with working on the ships and droids I've never seen him use a gun except to threat anyone who trashes the ships. And the geth is part of Mandalore's logistics team and he's usually at her side. Besides I don't want just any hotshot training me, I want the best. Just like your training from Vhonte Tervho." He turned away from her, walking back to the house, "Hey! What about me?"

"Ke'pare!" He turned back to yell at her and she quickly stiffened for a moment. He took a few minutes to rummage around for something before he returned with a crossbow-like weapon in hand. He then attached a scope to the top of it before grabbing a part of the WESTAR to extend the stock and switched the settings of the fire rate. "A good marksman needs to know their weapon inside, and out; ammo capacity, range, noise, and constantly being aware of your surroundings. Another thing, you've got to know your terrain, your team and what your team needs not what you want to be. A weapon like this, and with proper training, you can serve several different tactical roles when called upon. But weapons are tools. The team is the true weapon. And your team, they're who you need to trust with everything, no matter what. You should know at least these basics. So let's get started with a moving target that shoots back…"

Shala nodded, "Buir and the others always said you were one of the bests, ba'vodu Prudii. Even after so long you look ready to kick some ass."

A/N: And now we come to our close, a new generations rises, and life goes on. I have no plans, currently, to continue since there's no major threat I can think of that they couldn't crush with relative ease, besides the Leviathans.
