The end of the end.

The final.

Finalé.

Fin.

When Carol woke up she was surround by dirt, it crowded around her into her nose and eyes and when she coughed, she choked up dirt.

"Holy shit!" She began to panick, flailing wildly against the hard pact soil around her.

"Remember Kill Bill Carol, remember Kill Bill," She urged herself to remember.

...She didn't.

Carol tried desperately to breathe against the mud and dirt crowding her mouth, worms wriggling around in the mixture like a shitty surprise in a kinder egg.

Kicking her legs against the hard packed dirt she found she couldn't even scream for lack of air, she was simply kicking and punching the hard packed earth above her.

"Let me out!" She grimaced, thinking about the many ways she could obliterate Rick Grimes once she was free. Well, she should really kill him but there was a kind of begrudging admiration there.

Well played Rick, well played.

She tried to suck in any extra air that was left in the chasm. Scratching away at the ceiling of muck her nails began to rip away from her finger tips but she barely noticing, she saw flecks of peppered soil falling onto her face. She spat.

Moving upwards she pulled out handfuls of grime, not bothering to wipe the sweat off her face or the grime sticking to her forehead. The only thing driving her foreward was the thought of Daryl's entrails, warm in her hands, when she gut him like a fish for not coming to find her.

WHOSE DID HE THINK THE GRAVE WITH THE C ON WAS NOW?!

She hoisted herself towards the thinning patch of soil and finally, broke through to the surface.

With bloody, gray tinged fingers, she pulled herself out of the grave and attempted to regain herself. Stumbling around like a drunken Bambi on ice, she tried to stand. Carol's legs ached and groaned as she limped foreward a couple paces, dragging her left foot behind her.

She stretched out her arms to the prison and moaned with relief, groaned with pain and weariness and began to stumble, jaggedly, towards the prison.

Come to think of it now, she was feeling pretty peckish actually...
