Me: Hey there everyone, good news, I am back and ready to give you this next instalment in the saga that is dubbed Tomahawk. Know to say this first, I would like to thank you guys for putting up with my long ass break, and just know that next posted chapter the poll will be down. Now for the disclaimer, I don't own Naruto or Assassin's Creed 3, for if I did, then well I wouldn't be here complaining as to why the original anime and manga isn't my cup of code red mountain dew, and how I would've made Connor more badass and have a clearer love interest. Heard AC4 is coming out, so I might do something there. As well "Bat stare" you'll find out what I mean.

Connor followed Itachi closely, he never said a word to the young ANBU operative, but he noted all the doors they passed and the amount of windows there were. Trying to ease the tension between them, Itachi spoke to the man he was escorting to the Hokage office, "So Eagle-san, what type of mission were you on?" Connor stayed silent for a minute then responded to Itachi's question, "Sorry to disappoint Weasle but that information is only meant for Hiruzen or the new Hokage"

Itachi only sighed from that but it didn't let him hold back on some other questions, "So Eagle-san, is there anything not classified about your mission?" Connor shook his head no. Itachi stopped in front of two large double doors and pushed them wide open, inside was the Hokage's, Itachi entered the room and Connor followed close behind. Connor took a quick glance around room and seen a portrait that was to the right of Sarutobi.

"That is the current Hokage Eagle-san, his name is Minato Namikaze." explained Itachi as he seen Connor looking at the portrait. "That is good to know, but that leaves a question unanswered, what happened to Sarutobi." To Itachi it sounded as if he were demanding instead of questioning the previous Hokages whereabouts . Itachi looked into the black eye holes of the mask to see brown green eyes stare at him with a ferocious appetite.

He noticed his heart beating faster, his eyelids blinking rapidly, breathing was becoming more rapid and heavier. Itachi tried to feel for any chakra spike, but didn't find a trace of any. He was contemplating on jumping out the window, trying to end this unease that he found himself in. He broke and told Connor what he needed to here. "Sarutobi-sama died when the Kyuubi attacked Konoha, and was wreaking havok.

As soon he said that the look in Connors eyes settled and replaced with a neutral look, and in the process his heart, breathing, and blinking were settling down. As he gained control of his actions he looked at Connor wide eyed, unable to comprehend the fact that he was just tortured just by looking at Connors eyes. "So when shall I meet the Hokage then Weasle?" questioned Connor this time.

"I just sent a message to him, but seeing that this is his children's birthday then it may take awhile for him to get here." answered Itachi as he moved to a chair and sat down. Connor found a seat of his own and started the waiting game. He looked at Itachi and nodded at him, then he turned forward, awaiting Minato's presence.

The Namikaze family were close by the tower as they stopped to grab a bite to eat at Ichiraku's ramen shop. Kushina, Minato, and Narumi all sat at one table, while Naruto sat by himself, and ordered for himself. As he was waiting, he heard the crow of a raven outside, he looked at the entrance and seen that it was holding a massage. It promptly flew to the Namikaze table, while they were laughing about a joke Naruto missed.

"What the?" said Minato as he seen the raven interrupt there fun, Naruto smirked at them, knowing that Itachi ment for his raven to ruin any fun they had. "Minato look, it has a scroll strapped to its back." said Kushina as she looked at the raven curiously. Minato took the scroll and as soon he did the raven flew outside from the ramen shop, Minato began to unroll the scroll and read it.

His brow furrowed as he read the message, Kushina seeing this noticed the look her husband had. "Minato, is everything okay?" she asked in a sincere tone. Minato looked at her and smiled saying "Yes everything is fine, it's just that Weasel-san just sent me a message about an ANBU who hasn't been in the village in over two decades." Kushina went wide eyed as she heard the news.

Naruto at the other table over heard him say what the massage was about, he knew immediately that it was his sensei Connor. 'What the hell is Connor-sensei doing, revealing himself now of all times.' thought Naruto as he began to eat his ramen. "Perhaps it is just part of his overall plan on why he is here Naruto-kun" said Kōri

as he rested on his throne.

Naruto never had time to think as Minato stood up, "Ok guys, we are taking a detour to the tower, I need to meet this ANBU and reinstate him into the village." Kushina and Narumi were smiled at him and stood up, but Naruto was already by him awaiting them to continue to the tower. "Why the sudden interest in visiting the hokage tower Naruto-kun" asked Minato.

Naruto ignored the question and left the ramen shop, Kushina once again felt heartache, but hid it in a smile, while Narumi visibly frowned. Minato tried to burn the wall with his stare but had no luck, he walked out when he placed some money on the table to pay for the meal they had. They seen Naruto was already halfway there, and still walking in a slow pace.

As soon as they arrived to the tower Naruto was already there sitting on the ground, Minato left him alone and opened the door to enter the tower. There were a few flights of stairs to walk to get to their destination, during the trek the Namikaze's were finding it hard to walk further, but seen that Naruto was walking with ease. Minato couldn't stand for him to be outshone by his son.

When they reached the floor they needed they entered the room to see two of the five chairs occupied. Minato placed on a smile and walked to his desk, while he walked to his desk, he was followed by Kushina and Narumi, while Naruto stood in a corner watching everything like hawk staring at a field mouse. Minato took a seat in the hokage chair and smiled at the eagle masked ANBU.

"Well hello there, I'm Minato Namikaze the current Hokage of Konoha, it is nice to meet you Mister..." Connor seen his hand rolling and knew what the gesture meant, he wanted him to tell his name. "Eagle, Hokage-sama." said Connor as he looked at Minato. Minato's smile turned into a frown at his answer and pressed on him further. "No, what I meant to say is what is your actual name Eagle-san"

Kushina Kept looking at Connor, her mind trying to figure out who he is, because she felt an air of familiarity about him. Especially how he said Eagle in a quick response, as if it was his actual name. Connor reached for the strap behind the mask, he took a quick draw of breath and lifted the mask off his head. Kushina stared at him, with curiosity and mild interest, when the mask was lifted off she drew in a sharp rush of oxygen.

Kushina looked on, at the caramel colored skin, the greenish brown eyes and black hair with the same hair strand that was on the left side of his head. She felt conflicting emotions within her, rage, happiness, and lastly surprise. Naruto's eyes were wondering the room until they fell upon his mother, he seen the conflict in her, and seen that her gaze was directed towards Connor.

"Ea... Eagle-san?" said Kushina wearily as Connor looked at her and gave her a curt nod of his head. "It has been a long time Kushina, you seem to be doing well." stated Connor as he looked at Kushina with cold eyes. Minato cleared his throat to grab Connor's and Kushina's attention, the two broke from there stairs and focused back on the matter on hand.

"So I'm guessing by my wifes initial reaction, your name is actually Eagel, am I correct?" asked Minato as he looked at him then at his wife, then back to Connor. "Yes, but right now I go by Connor." Kushina looked at him puzzled, he just brushed off her gaze then returned his full focus back to Minato. "Connor huh? Well tell me your last name and we will get things going and my family can return to our routine on walking around Konoha to visit the main clans."

Kushina was about to butt in so she could tell Minato that Connor didn't have a last name, but she was cut off by Connor. "My last name is Kenway." said Connor, everyone in the room picked up on the slight hint of disgust when he said his last name, as if he wished it were something looked at his sensei with a worried look, but kept it hidden from everyone that was in the room.

Minato smiled at him and wrote down his last name not caring of the reaction of the man in front of him had when he said it. "Well Mr. Kenway, now we go to the mission debriefing." Connor sneered at Minato when he used his last name, "Very well, but before I go into depth of my mission, I would greatly appreciate it if you just call me Eagle, or Connor." Minato mustarded a warm smile and nodded at him.

"This information was originally meant for the third only, but it seems your ANBU operative tells me Sarutobi died ten years ago." Kushina looked over to Minato, a frown defiant on his face, "Yes unfortunately, poor Sarutobi gave his life protecting the village while I had to seal away the Kyuubi into my children." Connor sighed at the news he gotten from Minato, "I hope his spirit is at rest."

"I know you seen Sarutobi as your only leader, but still, I'm the new Hokage, and I need to here about why you left Konoha for seventeen years." Everyone leaned in to listen to why he was gone for so long. "Namikaze-sama, even though you are the current Hokage, there is information that can be shared with only by me and Sarutobi alone, so I can't tell you the exact specifications of my mission. I can tell you that I was on the hunt for traitor within Konoha that fled to my home land. that is as much I can tell you, because if my mission were have been revealed without the consent of Sarutobi, then I must dispatch anyone that heard it then dispatch myself."

"I see, well then I guess if it is part of your duty, then I shall honor it." 'For now, don't you worry Connor, I will get that information later one way or another.' thought Minato as he sat back and smiled towards the ANBU operative. "If there is anything else I shall take my leave and report to my quarters." explained Connor. He turned around nodded towards Naruto and Narumi, then he turned around towards Minato.

He ran towards the man, then jumped on the desk and launched himself off of it then landed behind the chair, he sprinted out to the balcony then jumped off. He then landed into the bush that was underneath him then took off towards the forest and vanished from sight. The others looked at him and the spectacle he performed. "Interesting." mumbled Minato as he looked on at the direction we're Connor left at.

"Kaa-chan?" said Narumi as she turned to look at her mother who had a far off gaze, Kushina looked over to her and smiled faintly. "What is it Narumi-chan?" asked Kushina as she looked at her daughter, "Did you two know each other, it seemed you did?" Naruto resisted the urge to slap his forehead, 'Kami, anybody could have guessed they known each other.' thought Naruto as he shook his head slightly.

Minato turned to his wife and listened intently to what she was about to say about the new enigma that is called Connor. "Well Narumi, you know how Mikoto Uchiha was part of my team, well that man was the third member to my team, he was quiet, kept to himself a lot, I seen him mostly while my team was on a mission, after and before the mission even during our breaks he would just be training his heart out."

Minato sat back into his chair and leaned in to hear more about Connor, and so did Narumi and Naruto. "Connor, or back in the day Eagle, wasn't born into Konoha, instead he was from a traveling village that use to be out near the Konoha gates. He often came into the village to sell some furs he gathered from hunting. He never stayed in Konoha long, instead he would returned to his village as fast as he came, because the people living there were essentially his family, and so when a terrible accident happened when his home was set on fire he not only lost friends, but also his mother."

Kushina took a moment of pause to let everyone absorb what she currently said, she looked at Minato and seen he had his eyebrows scrunched up as if he were giving the story a serious thought. She turned her gaze to her children and seen that Naruto was at the edge of his seat looking at her with curious eyes. She smiled a little and she looked at Narumi and seen she was the same as Naruto, eager to hear more about her secret team member.

"After that he joined the ninja academy, a lot of the kids there didn't like him because he was from a different village, but he didn't care what they thought of him. He used it as a way to hide a lot of his true potential until the time to graduate came, he basically got 100% in every category that we were tested in." Minato looked up at her and narrowed his eyes as a sneer came to his face and in a hushed voice said "So that bastard that stole my title back in the academe was the ANBU I was dealing with."

Kushina and the others didn't hear them as they were into the story she was weaving for them, "When we all came back from the three day break the teacher called out team 5 then said my name then Mikoto Uchiha and lastly" "Eagle-san!" shouted Narumi as she caught on to what her mother was about to say, Kushina smiled at her as Naruto give her an annoyed glare.

"Sorry honey but it wasn't Eagle-san, it was another kid who was a civilian but quit after our Genin test, he said something about taking over his fathers shop or something." said Kushina as she tried to remember the original member they had on there team. "But Kaa-san what about Eagle-san, how come he was pulled out of his team and placed on yours?"

Narumi's question brought back Kushina from her thoughts and returned to her story and explained to them on how Connor was able to join there team. "Well you see Narumi, in our graduating class, we had an uneven amount of people, so because of Connor's score he was placed as an Elite Genin, and now before you two ask, an Elite Genin is a genin that is beyond his or her skills and therefore are placed with a Jonin-sensei by themselves."

"Tell me this one thing?" Kushina looked at her son and seen that he was in a thinking position. "Theoretically speaking, if I were to go for the rank Elite Genin, will the Jonin-sensei I'm assigned to be at a high level so he can better train me." Minato raised an eyebrow towards Naruto and wondered why his son asked such a question. Kushina looked at him and smiled at him trying to get him to acknowledge her noticing his question to which Naruto ignored.

"Well Naruto to answer your question, the caliber of the Jounin instructor that you could be placed with will be at least a former ANBU operative, or a current ANBU operative. It just depends on who is willing to take on the responsibility of training of a Genin who could possibly become Hokage, a high ranking ANBU, or even a Sannin ."

"Well then, why did Eagle give up that chance to be part of a team?" Kushina sighed at Naruto's question she looked away towards the wall with the previous Hokage's and looked at Hiruzen's portrait. "My guess is that he was asked by the Third to balance out the team, seeing that originally he was supposed to be on a team, not on my team but still he wasn't supposed to be by himself for the most part."

Kushina smiled at the portrait of the previous Hokage and remembering some events from her past. "Well look at the time, it really is getting late, Kushina-chan, I want you to take the kids over to the Uchiha compound while I take care of some paperwork for the party." Said Minato as he looked at Kushina. "Ok I'll take them over, just make sure you arrive on time, I would hate to explain that my husband was late because he had to do work on his day off."

"Don't worry Kushina, you know me I'll make it on time." Kushina smiled and lowered down to his level and kissed him goodbye, she broke apart and left leading the kids to the compound. As soon as the door was shut closed Minato sat in silence, his smile deteriorated and replaced by a scowl and his eyes reflecting anger and his breath became heavier, and his chest rose along. He let out a yell and slammed a fist down on the table, leaving an indentation on the desk. "Fucking shit! Fuck you Sarutobi, even in death you found a way to pester me and Lord Madara further.

Flashback

Hiruzen looked out on the balcony that was just outside of his home, the sun was rising steadily lifting the shadow that covered his village. A knock was heard from the door that lead out to the hallway, Hiruzen sighed and walked back to his chair and sat down. "You may enter." The door opened revealing Jiraiya, his former student and a member of the Sannin

"Hey there old man. How has retirement been for you, not to boring I hope?" joked Jiraiya as he walked in and closed the door behind him. Sarutobi chuckled at his poorly used joke, "Fine actually, I can finally get away from all that damned paperwork and spend more time with my family." said Sarutobi as he walked back out to the balcony. Jiraiya followed his former sensei out and leaned up against the railing.

"I heard from some of my contacts within Konoha that you named Minato as the new Hokage. I always knew that kid would become a great ninja someday, he started out as a novice and now he reigns as the strongest of the strong." a silence befell upon them and so they stood there frozen Hiruzen took in an inhale of air, looked out towards the setting sun and savored the moment of peace.

That tranquility was soon shattered as a deafening roar pierced throughout the hidden village. Hiruzen blocked his face and waited for the gust of wind that was picked up from the strange phenomenon, Hiruzen lowered his arms and was he was to say something he then lost his voice and gazed out to the distance and seen the Kyuubi Okami out within his village, lashing its tails and cushing the buildings around it.

He tried to move, but found his legs weren't responding, he turned to ask Jiraiya for his help and seen his former student look at him with a maniacal look. His smile was crooked and his eyes wide open but seemed glazed to Hiruzen, "Sorry sensei, but we need you to stay put until Tobi-sama says that we need you."

"What are you talking about Jiraiya! This is not some sort of game, the village is under attack and we need to be there to mobilize the ninja and see that the citizens are brought to safety!" Jiraiya only chuckled at his panicked state and left the balcony and closed the doors behind him. Hiruzen looked at his hands and seen that they were placed on top of a seal he then looked further down and seen that his feet were also placed on top a seal.

So he stood there watching as his fellow shinobi and kunoichi fight the beast that was destroying the village. Tears were running down his face, he felt powerless and pitiful knowing he is unable to go and protect the village his Sensei's entrusted him to protect. He tried furiously to get out of the seals but no progress was made, so he just stood there continuing to watch his village being destroyed.

After an hour of silence and watching the Kyuubi attack Konoha Sarutobi just ran out of tears and gave up on trying to free himself. If someone were to look at him now they would say they were seeing a statue of the former Hokage of Konoha and master of a 1000 jutsus. "So this is what the great Hiruzen Sarutobi aka, the God of shinobi aka, master of a 1000 jutsus aka the professor."

Hiruzen then froze in his place his eyes wide and shock clear on his face, he turned his head as far as he could and spotted the man he least expected to come here. "Mi... Minato, are you you here because you noticed I was missing?" Minato smiled and walked up next to him and continued to look at the rampage the Kyuubi was in "Hiruzen, I want to say that it has been an honor to bring down the only man who could ruin my plans to control this pathetic village you call a home."

HIruzen was at a loss as he heard what his successor was saying, "What are you talking about Minato?! Hurry up and get me out of these seals and stop the destruction the Kyuubi is causing" Minato laughed at what the former Hokage just said meanwhile Hiruzen looked at him as if the man had gone mad. "Ah... Hiruzen you have no idea on how completely idiotic you are at this moment, if you were younger then perhaps you could've solved this in just a moment, but now in your old decrepit state, you are as harmless as a pug."

The door behind them opened revealing Jiraiya by the doorway, he walked up to Minato in a quick stride. "Minato he has finally arrived, shall I go and bring him up?" asked Jiraiya, "Yes Jiraiya, you may show him up here." Jiraiya bowed and left to bring up their mystery guest. Minato turned to Hiruzen with a smirk on his face. "Well Hiruzen, it seems you will be meeting my benefactor."

Before Hiruzen let out a word he seen the spot next to Minato starting to become distorted and in a few seconds a man that wore a long black cloak and a yellow mask with one eye hole on it appeared. He gave Hiruzen a look of amusement as he sees that he couldn't much besides his head. "Ahahahaha, well look what I see hear, the once feared Third Hokage trapped and helpless."

He walked up to Hiruzen then he clutched the old mans jaw in a tight clench, Hiruzen flenched a bit and that reaction gave the mysterious masked man a sense of joy. "Who... are... you?" asked Hiruzen as his circulation of air began to cut off, leaving him to gasp in what little air he could get. "Hmm..., Very well, if you wish to know then I shall tell you who I am. I AM MADARA UCHIHA!" as he he shouted out his Name Sarutobi's eyes grew wide from fear which caused the Uchiha to bellow out a maniacal laugh that both frightened Minato and angered Sarutobi.

"How is it possible that you are alive then, Hashirama swore that he obliterated you!" In that moment the self proclaimed Madara lost whatever joy he held and looked at Hiruzen with hatred in his single eye. "First off all, that disgrace of a ninja barely gave a good fight and besides, anyone can tell someone else that they done something extraordinary, so long as they believe it themselves, you see you wretched old man I placed a strong Genjutsu on that foolish Senju. He believed he defeated me while I left biding my time waiting for the right time to take control of a village that rightfully belonged to me and my clan."

Minato cleared his throat which gave him his master's attention. "Lord Madara, I believe we should start implementing your plan." stated Minato as he looked at the masked man. The reminder of why he was their began to calm him a bit. "Thank you Minato, you are a loyal servant. Now Sarutobi this is how it's going to play out, Minato will go and keep the kyuubi busy giving a splendid act for everyone to witness and once he begins to use the Shiki Fūjin you shall come in and with an act of heroism you shall sacrifice yourself for the spirit needed for the jutsu. After of which my plan will be played in motion and no one can stop it from happening."

"Madara don't think that for one second that I'll allow this fowl plan to take motion," "Ah but you will Sarutobi, because like it or not you are completely helpless against my power now be the obedient little monkey you've always been and go sacrifice yourself." The masked man gripped Sarutobi's jaw and turned his head towards him and then his only visible eye turned into the signature sharingan that made the Uchihas one of the most feared clans in all the elemental nations.

Sarutobi tried to fight the feeling of numbness that was subcoming his mind, but it was a futile attempt for his last thoughts slipped into a black abyss leaving Sarutobi only as an empty husk. Minato smirked when he seen the will of fire extinguished from the old man as he was finally turned over to his master. "There we go, he put up a small fight but it wasn't much. Minato, began the final stage of our plan, tonight Konoha will lose the only man capable of ruining my plans."

Flashback end

MInato settled back into his chair as the thoughts on what happened during that fateful night the ultimate plan was set in motion. "After the party I should look over Eagles bio and analyze where he stands on his loyalty. Then again I guess time is the only solid form of confirmation. He will either prove to be a valuable pawn or a useless tool." Minato looked at the clock that was on his desk and seen that the festivity was about to began.

He stood up from his seat and walked towards the door, he stopped and looked back into his office then he turned all the lights off and left the building confidant that everything that he thinks would transpire would go on without a hitch.

Hey guys I'm glad to be back on the scene, and I apologize for me shirking my duties, I massively contradict myself, because when it comes to stories, I hate it when an author doesn't post in like a months time and leaves me hanging, and here I am and left you guys for I think 6 months now. Well don't worry, I just got back my creative juices and ready to march out of my darkness and no matter what my one track mind won't burn you guys.

Man , it's not only because of the franchise and story that draws me in, but also having that strong female lead for the assassin to fall in love with and ultimately commit to.
