Bella's POV

"Bella!" Charlie shouted up the stairs.

"What" I yelled back as I began towel drying my just washed hair.

"Get down here now!"

Grumbling I pulled on my sweats and a tank top and headed downstairs and into the kitchen. When I made it to the doorway I paused and my mouth dropped open in shock.

"Alice, what the hell is all this!" I gasped in shock.

Every inch of our small kitchen was covered with boxes of make up, shoes and accessories. I looked up at my best friend and saw her whole face lit up, like a child on Christmas morning. Charlie however looked as if someone had shot him in the foot.

"It's prom Bella!" Alice screeched jumping up and down.

"I know Alice, but not for another nine hours." I replied wide eyed.

"At least you had an extra hour to yourself" I heard Rose grumble as she walked into the cramped kitchen with three large dress bags lying across her arms.

"Oh Rose, don't pretend you aren't excited for prom" Alice laughed perching herself on the corner of the kitchen counter.

"I'm excited Alice, but not this early in the morning."

Rose dropped the dress bags on the clear kitchen table before pouring herself a mug of coffee. Charlie was still standing in a daze looking around his kitchen which was now full to the brim with cosmetics.

"Dad, why don't you go and spend the day with Sue?" I suggested softly placing a hand on his arm and guiding him towards the stairs.

"Good idea Bells; I will leave you three girls to whatever it is you need to do."

As Charlie left the room I walked over to the coffee machine and poured myself a drink. Sitting down next to Rose at the kitchen table I pulled my Iphone from my pocket and sent Edward a quick text message.

B: Help me! Alice has brought a cosmetic arsenal into my house xxx

I attached a photo of my kitchen floor before pressing send. Rose glance over my shoulder at the message and nudged me.

"Cosmetic arsenal is about right" she chuckled taking a large gulp of coffee.

My phone vibrated on the table and I reached for it quickly.

E: How is it even possible to need that much stuff? xxx

B: Ask Alice. I'm more than positive every make up product in those cases will be on my face later! I'm a little scared xxx

E: Babe you don't need any make up on, you're beautiful without it xxx

B: Shut up! You flirt xxx

E: Remember what happened the last time you didn't believe you were beautiful? xxx

A grin spread across my face as I remembered the events of two weeks ago when Edward and I began being physical again. All night Edward would tell me I was beautiful and I would tell him to shut up.

B: Yes I remember xxx

"Bella! Stop messaging lover boy, we have a long day ahead of us." Alice snapped clapping her hands loudly before jumping off of the kitchen counter and landing gracefully on her red high heels.

"Such a kill joy" I laughed getting up from my chair and putting my empty mug in the washing up bowl.

Alice stuck her tongue out at me before giggling. Rose took her jacket off and hung it on the back of the chair she was just sat in.

"Are we going to set up in the living room because there are far too many cases here to move upstairs?" Rose asked placing her hands on her hips.

"Yes. Definitely the living room." I said nodding my head.

"Well chop, chop lets move this into the other room." Alice bossed picking up the nearest case and walking out of the kitchen her heels clipping the tiles loudly as she went.

"The boss has spoken, grab what you can" Rose laughed tying up her long golden blonde hair.

Picking up a pile of shoe boxes I followed Rose into the living room and began setting up for what was going to be a long day.

"Bella, do you want black or silver nail varnish?" Alice asked searching through the large rack of nail varnishes.

Rose, Alice and I were all sat around the centre of the living room beginning what was stage one of the 'get ready for prom day' schedule.

"Black" I replied lifting my head from Rose's right hand which was lightly placed on my left knee, as I painted her nails scarlet red.

"So predictable" Rose chuckled.

"What I like black, I think it slims my hands." I replied pouting out my bottom lip.

"Bella, your hands are tiny!"

"I know but my fingers are short and stubby, look!"

I flung my left hand out into Rose's face where she batted it away.

"Bella! Focus" Rose laughed as I looked away from her right hand.

"Sorry" I giggled.

"What colour are you having Alice?" Rose asked.

"Pale pink to match the colour of my dress."

"I can't believe how quick this year has gone. We are graduating next week and then going off to college." I said out of the blue.

"This year has been a rather entertaining one to say the least" Alice chuckled.

"Entertaining! It has been an emotional roller-coaster. At the beginning of the year we were out to ruin the guys lives and now look at us. All loved up and moving off to college together." Rose shouted startling me slightly.

This week Alice, Rose, Jasper, Emmett, Edward and I all got accepted into Columbia University in New York. We all chose to open our college letters together as a group at the Cullens house. I had been so nervous receiving my letter I needed Edward to open it for me as my hands shook terribly. However once we all discovered we were attending the same school Alice and Emmett were straight on the computer researching dorms and where we were all going to live. Of course being undergraduates we will be staying in the dorms but Alice being Alice got in touch with the university and managed to get the three of us living together along with the guys having their own room together.

"How did your parents take you studying engineering?" I asked Rose who was resting back against the sofa.

"Surprisingly well. When I told them I didn't want to be a doctor they got angry and yelled but then I told them all about the course I wanted to pursue and they cracked. My parents actually sat and listened to me for once. Then eventually they agreed to help me pursue what I want to."

"Rose that's brilliant" Alice laughed wrapping her tiny arms around her neck.

"I know, I actually cried when they said they would support me. My parents have never took an interest in my mechanics and when they said what they did it really touched me."

"Awh Rose! We knew you were a big softy at heart." I teased.

"Hey! I can be soft when I want to be. I'm just a natural bitch."

"But you're our bitch" Alice and I shouted at the same time which resulted in us all falling into fits of laughter on the floor.

...

Once all nails were painted we took a break from the beautification process and had lunch which I cooked for the three of us. Alice of course being the over dramatic had me making fancy salads so we wouldn't become bloated later on when we needed to fit into our dresses.

"The last thing we need Bella is an emergency trip to the shops to by spanks!" Alice screeched in horror.

"Alice I very much doubt any of us will need spanks tonight or any time before our thirtieth birthdays" Rose stated raising her eyebrows and picking up a piece of cucumber which I was in the process of cutting.

"Yeah Alice we won't need spanks. Anyway this food will keep us going until we finish the last dance of the night."

The mention of dancing made Alice stop thinking about food and begin thinking of the dance and jasper.

"Oooooo I wonder what the last dance song is going to be?"

"I don't know but I hope it isn't a really cheesy song which is going to make me gag." Rose grumbled.

"Rose! It's is prom, the whole thing is cheesy." I laughed.

"You won't even think about the song when you are in Emmett's arms" Alice added with a dreamy look on her face.

"That is true, I will be thinking 'why is Emmett trying to sing with a fake British accent'"

We all looked at each other before laughing once again. Emmett had a tendency when singing along to a song to sing with a British accent. We all discovered this when taking the road trip to Seattle.

"Remember Taylor Swift 'Trouble'!" Alice choked out between her laughter.

"No, please no. I can't breathe" I gasped for air clutching at the kitchen counter.

"The things I have to put up with" Rose chuckled shaking her head back and forth with a traitorous smile gracing her face.

"But you love him" I said finally calming down.

"I do love him."

After lunch Alice had us getting straight back to work with facials. I must admit I loved putting on face masks. We chose to apply the face masks upstairs in the bathroom so we didn't get any mess on the carpets. I plugged my Ipod into my docking station so we could listen to music as we worked on each others masks.

"What shall we listen too?" I asked scrolling through my large list of songs.

"Beyonce 'Flawless'!" Alice shouted out.

Alice danced around the room to her female inspiration with a bright green mask on her face. Rose and I laughed as she put on her Beyonce impression when she rapped out the verses.

"Woo go Alice!" I cheered as she bowed when the song finished.

"What can I say Bella, I'm Flawless!"

...

"Bella! It is three O'clock, we need to start doing your hair" Alice screeched from the living room as I got three bottles of water from the fridge.

"Alice calm down" I laughed dropping the bottles onto the table.

"Don't tell her to calm down, it'll make her worse" Rose whispered harshly behind my shoulder.

Just as Alice was about to speak again the phone rang from the kitchen, I looked at the doorway before darting out of the room quickly. Away from crazy Alice.

"Bella! Get back here!"

"Hello" I said picking up the phone.

"Is it safe to come home yet?" Charlie's voice asked slowly down the phone.

"Errr..."

"Bella, whoever is on that phone tell them to GO AWAY!" Alice yelled.

"I take that as a no" Charlie added.

"Yeah, best if you stay away a little longer. Maybe till six?"

"Sure, six it is. I still want to see you before you leave though."

"Okay dad. See you later."

Once I put the phone down, I headed back into the living room where Rose was unwinding and plugging in the hair straighteners, Rollers and curling iron.

"Okay Alice I'm back, do what you will" I laughed sitting in front of her with my head tipped back.

"Finally!" She shouted throwing her hands in the air.

"Rose can you call Emmett and make sure the guys have all their suits for tonight and the correct ties?" Alice asked Rose as she pulled a brush through my hair.

"Really Alice, again?"

Alice tilted her head and gave Rose a pointed glare before Rose picked up her phone and dialled Emmett, putting the phone on speaker.

"Rosie baby! Alice still being psycho?" Emmett boomed down the phone.

"Speaker Emmett!" Rose and I shouted loudly.

"Did I say psycho? I meant prettiest fashion guru around" He back tracked his voice reaching a pitch I couldn't reach.

"Nice save Em" Rose muttered rolling her eyes.

"So what can I do for you lovely ladies this afternoon?"

"Emmett have you guys got your suits ready?" Alice asked as she began splitting up my hair into layers.

"Sure have Alice, They're all hung up and ready to go."

"What about your ties did you pick up the correct ones from the store?"

"Yeah, it was the three lemon yellow ones right?" He said casually

Lemon yellow? Since when would Alice pick lemon yellow?

"WHAT! Did you say lemon yellow?" Alice froze to the spot.

"Yeah, those were the ones right?"

I looked at Rose with wide eyes, but she just grinned and winked at me. From the tone of Emmett's voice We knew he was joking. But Alice on the other hand didn't pick the tone of his voice up.

"NO! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, YOU HAD ONE JOB! ONE JOB!" Alice screamed jumping up from her spot from behind me.

"Alice, Alice babe calm down it's Jasper. Emmett is joking, he's joking I have the right ties." Jasper's soothing voice appeared over the phone.

"So they're not lemon yellow?" Alice gasped.

"No, they're not lemon yellow."

"Oh thank goodness, I was about to come and ring Emmett's neck!"

"No need for that Ali cat Jasper and I have already done it" Edward shouted over the phone.

"Edward! Don't you hurt my boyfriend!" Rose growled down the phone.

"Yeah Edward"

"He's my brother I'm allowed too!"

"You hit me I'll hit you back" Emmett taunted.

"Don't you hit him Emmett! You will ruin the photos later!" Alice hissed.

"Yeah Emmett think of the photo's" I laughed.

"Are you sure you don't want me to hit pretty boy in the face, we know how you love your photo's" He replied sarcastically, knowing I hated photo's.

"Don't you dare!" Alice said sharply before hitting 'end' on the call.

"If any of them turn up tonight with a black eye, I'm cutting balls!" Alice continued waving around a heated curling iron.

"Alice watch where you are waving that thing, you'll have my eye out." I said covering my face with my hands.

"Sorry" she replied sheepishly before going back to my hair.

"Don't worry Alice, everything is going to be fine." Rose smiled pulling the straighteners through her hair.

...

Soon enough, five O'clock rolled around and all that was left for Alice, Rose and I to do was put on our dresses. My hair was completed and split into a half up half down do. My hair was curled down my back and the top pulled back and secured with a sapphire hair pin. My make up was expertly done by Rosalie, she gave me grey smoky eyes and peach coloured lip which shocked me when I looked in the mirror. I barely recognised myself. I couldn't wait for Edward to see me in my dress. It was a floor length sapphire blue gown with a split up to my right thigh. The bodice was fitted with a halter neck strap which finished off as a bow behind my neck.

"Ooo, I can't wait to put my dress on!" Alice squealed as Rose finished up her make up.

"Alice sit still, Or your lip liner is going to fly across your face!"

Rose tilted her face back to the centre so she could apply Alice's lipstick which was a pale pink to match her dress.

I twisted a curl between my fingers as I watched Rose swipe Alice's lips once more with a gloss.

"Right you are finished."

"Dresses!" Alice squealed clapping her hands.

Before either of us could stop her she leapt up from the floor and raced upstairs. Rose and I followed behind her taking two steps at a time up onto the landing. The dresses were moved up here to my room to stop them getting damaged from the cases of make-up that cluttered the downstairs of my house. As I made it to my doorway Alice stepped out blocking our path.

"No Rose. Go wash your hands I do not want any make up prints on the dresses." She flicked her hands shooing her away.

Rose walked off as I slipped through into my bedroom. Alice had unzipped all of the dress bags and the dresses hung on my wardrobe doors. I stood next to Alice and then just looked at what we would be wearing tonight. After two minutes had passed Rose came into the room and stood next to me hooking an arm through my own.

"Well this is it. The final dance of the year, high school is over."

"The day we have all been waiting for"

"And we get to spend it all together and with the ones we love."

Half an hour later we were zipped, hooked and tied into our dresses. Alice was spinning in the centre of the room lifting her silk skirt as she moved. Rose on the other hand was adjusting her cleavage in the mirror, in true style. She caught my glance and laughed pulling her hands away from her boobs. But they moved straight to her immaculately groomed hair. I picked up my phone from my bedside table and lit up the screen. I had a message from Edward.

E: Miss you, we will be round in half hour can't wait to see you xxx

B: Miss you too, we are all ready to go just waiting for Charlie to get back and Alice to stop spinning xxx

"Bella! I'm home" Charlie shouted from downstairs.

"Come on lets go see Charlie before he spots the living room and has a heart attack" I laughed.

Carefully lifting my dress as I walked down the stairs I made it to the bottom in one piece. I looked to my right and spotted my father looking at the living room un moving.

"Hi dad."

"Hey Charlie."

Charlie turned around slowly with a look of sheer shock horror but when he spotted Alice, Rose and I his face fell and a small smile spread across his face.

"Girls, you look beautiful."

"Awh thank you dad."

"I can't believe how grown up you all are."

"Charlie" Alice cooed running to him and wrapping her tiny arms around his waist.

"Don't you'll make me cry" Charlie sniffed.

"DAD!" As a tear fell from my dads eye we all rushed and pulled each other into a giant hug making sure not to smudge any make up or crease any of the dresses.

As we all broke apart Charlie wiped his face on his jumper sleeve and smiled.

"What time are the guys getting here?"

"They should be on their way in ten minutes." I told him glancing up at the clock on the wall that read six twenty.

"Ten minutes! I need my shoes!" Alice screeched before racing off back upstairs.

"That is our cue to finish getting ready. Be down in a bit dad, shout when Edward gets here."

"Will do" He replied before walking off into the living room stacking boxes as he went. We really had turned the house into a tip, oops.

Rose and I carefully made our way back upstairs due to our long dresses, but once we reached the top Alice came through my bed room door holding two pairs of immaculate patent leather high heels. Looking down at her feet she had already put on her silver encrusted platforms which effortlessly matched her short pale pink dress. I took the royal blue pointed heels from her and slipped them onto my feet, as Rose reached for her 5 inch red stilettos.

"Pictures!" Alice yelled picking up her camera from the floor.

"Please Alice no photo's!" I grumbled dragging my feet into my bedroom.

"Bella, prom only happens once so get your lace covered ass into the camera lens" Alice replied pulling my arm.

So for the next ten minutes Alice snapped photo's of Rose and I, then a lot of group selfies. I was most definitely going to get a huge framed photo of the three of us for my birthday.

"Bella, Rose, Alice! The guys are here!" Charlie yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

We all looked at each other before letting out the most girlish screech anyone had ever heard in their lives.

"Why are we screaming?" Rose asked with a goofy grin on her face.

"I don't know" I replied wearing a matching expression.

"Well come on we can't keep them waiting all night" Alice smiled before she strutted off along the landing before walking down the stairs.

Rose and I followed closely behind being extremely careful on the descent down the stairs, the last thing I needed tonight was a trip to the hospital and six weeks in a cast. At the bottom of the stairs I turned right into the living room and stopped dead in my tracks. My eyes found Edward's from across the room and he was stood in his crisp black suit and white shirt with a royal blue tie. I could have jumped him right there but I doubt Charlie really needed to see me show too much emotion towards boyfriend so I chose to save it for later.

Finally getting my legs to work again I walked over to Edward and stood in front of him. He clasped his right hand in my left and lifted my arm so I could spin round. I blushed furiously as he chuckled. Leaning down he kissed my cheek and I returned the gesture.

"Wow you look stunning!" Edward breathed.

"Thank you, but have you looked in the mirror handsome?" I giggled placing a hand on his smooth jacket.

There was a chorus of throat clearings and Edward and I looked towards the rest of the group who all had similar expressions on their faces.

"You guys finished making googly eyes at each other? We have places to go." Emmett laughed wrapping a large arm around Rose's waist.

"Shut up Emmett" Edward told his brother thumping him in the arm with his fist.

"Well you boys take care of my girls you hear, and don't be too late back" Charlie said firmly.

"Dad!" I groaned throwing my head back like a embarrassed child.

"Fine, no curfew."

We all began filtering out of the house and into our cars. Edward opened the door to his Volvo so I could get in, such a gentlemen, when Charlie was watching. I made sure my dress wouldn't crease by lying back slightly in my chair. Alice would have a heart attack if I had a huge line across the dress she had spent hours steaming into shape.

"What are you doing?" Edward asked looking at my current position.

"Trying not to crease my dress. I can't put my seat belt on either so please watch your speed just for tonight." I replied leaning over and kissing his cheek.

He shook his head and laughed as he pulled out of the driveway and onto the main road.

"I wish we were staying in a hotel tonight because you look incredible and I want to be the one to take that dress off of you." Edward said lustfully.

"Edward!" I laughed loudly while blushing.

"What!"

"Don't say that, I won't be able to think straight all night knowing what you want to do to me."

"That's the point."

"Edward" I growled pinching his thigh making him jump.

Five minutes later we pulled into the school car park and made our way through the crowds of people finding a space. When Edward parked up the car I waited until he came round to help me out of my seat. Once I was back upright I cuddled into Edward's side and walked over towards Emmett, Jasper, Alice and Rose.

"I'm surprised, it doesn't look cliché" Rose said glancing at the decorations and lights that illuminated the sports hall.

"I may have had a word with the prom design team" Alice giggled.

"Had a word?" I asked.

"Well... Maybe I gave them a thirty slide power point on the does and don't s of prom."

"There it is!" Rose and I laughed at Alice who just shrugged innocently.

"Well lets go party people. Let us show this year how to Prom!" Emmett boomed pulling Rose across the car park, the rest of us following behind.

Once in the hall Edward and I made our way to the drinks table making sure to get their early enough before the punch got it's yearly dosage of Vodka. The music was already playing loudly and all of the students were on the dance-floor celebrating what was the last day of High School.

"Care to dance Milady?" Edward asked putting on his poor British accent.

"Why yes sir I would love too" I replied in a just as bad British accent.

Moving into the crowd we found the rest of the group and we began to dance the night away like true students. The music was great and full of our favourite songs. Alice must of had another 'Word' with the music department about the prom playlist. There was a mixture of dance tracks and slow songs which allowed Edward and I to comfortably cuddle in the middle of the room but I had to stop him once or twice from trying to feel me up on the dance floor. It was definitely heading to become on of my favourite nights spent with Edward and the group. I just wanted the night to never end.

"Hey the final song of the night is going to happen soon" Alice nudged me sadly.

"I know. Having a good time?" I asked.

"The best, I love being altogether in a group like this." She replied tugging Rose's hand so the six of us stood in a tight knit group.

"Don't worry guys, we are all going to college in a couple of months there will be plenty more time to party together." Emmett said standing behind Rose.

"I can't believe how far we have come over the past year." I laughed.

"Yeah, you hated us and we were complete idiots." Jasper said.

"That we did, but now we all love you!" Alice shouted planted a big kiss on his lips.

"Ladies and gentlemen it is the last song of the night so grab a partner and enjoy one of your last High school moments." The principle announced over the speaker.

Turning back to Edward, I wrapped my arms around his neck and stretched up to kiss him softly. He responded by opening his lips and deepening the kiss, as he did Jason Mraz 'I'm Yours' came through the speakers and I smiled into the kiss.

As the song filtered out a flash of memories consumed me from the past year. Pulling pranks on the Cullen's, them retaliating and causing a prank war between our groups. Then everything changing, Edward and I's first kiss, first night together. Our trips out together all the happy memories and the struggles with my mother and tension on our relationship. The ups and downs have bought us here today, to right now and I couldn't wait to see what becomes of us next.
