Red Like Roses

A lone hooded figure walked silently through a snowy forest. The sun was beginning its descent in the sky, every year for 3 years she'd made the trek through the forest, this year the only difference was she now carried a sword strapped to her waist. She emerged from the trees and walked to the edge of a small cliff. There sat four gravestones, all nearly identical except for the inscription they held.

Red like Roses fills my dreams and brings me to the place you rest.

In her mind she saw the smiling face of the cocky pink haired dragon slayer the first gravestone represented. The inscription on the ruby flecked stone read "Natsu Dragneel, 'S' Class Dragon Slayer Mage, Son of Igneel, protective Comrade."

White is cold and always yearning, burdened by the royal test.

This time, the focused and calm faced of a raven haired wizard, perpetually shirtless. "Gray Fullbuster, 'S' Class ice wizard, student of Ur, Brilliant Companion." This stone had flakes of silver scattered within it.

The Mage looked at the next grave and held back a tear.

Black the beast descends from shadows

The mischievous and almost arrogant smirk on her older sister's face drew a sad smile from the younger sibling. "Lilura Scarlet, Darkness Mage, Shadowed Beauty, Beloved sister." Her gravestone had small slivers of obsidian and amethyst embedded in it.

The last gravestone had gold adorning it, as well as a carved out area that held a single golden key that bore the zodiac symbol of Leo.

Yellow beauty burns gold

The scarlet haired wizard could have sworn she heard the infectious laughter of the smiling wizard the final stone belonged to. "Lucy Heartfilia, 'S' Class Celestial Wizard, friend to all, unforgettably kind."

Erza Scarlet wiped her eyes and looked at Lucy's grave "Keep them safe Loke." She whispered before turning and walking away into the snowy night.
