Hello Lovelys, and welcome to another adventure! Now, just something I'd like to say...

This is a Trunks x Pan fic. Don't like the couple? Please, don't read it.

-I own NOTHING of the Dragon Ball as franchise. Only my own ideas. This is the ONLY time I'm saying this.

One- Moving

The room was quiet as a young girl of fifteen slept peacefully. Her door creaked open, stirring her from her slumber. When she heard soft footsteps, she knew who it was and a soft smile graced her lips. She pretended to still be sleeping as the footsteps neared her bed.

"Pan-nee," a childish voice whispered.

Still, the teen pretended to be sleeping.

"Pan-nee!" The child whispered again, this time a bit louder.

"Izard... It's too early," she finally opened her eyes. She smiled at her three-year-old sister standing in front of her bed, still clad in her bunny pjs.

"Snuggles?" The girl raised a brow.

Pan smiled more, "Awh, come on," she said, lifting her blankets. Her sister giggled, climbing into bed beside her sister and clinging to her. "Is breakfast done yet?"

"Not yet," she shook her head.

"Isabella!" Their father's voice called as he walked up the stairs.

Isabella giggled, covering herself with the blanket. "I hide!"

"Panny," Gohan walked into his oldest daughters room. He stopped when he saw the lump under the blankets in front of her. Pan smiled at him as he shook his head. "Have you seen Bella?"

"No, Papa, I sure haven't," she told him, though her sister was giggling like mad under the covers beside her.

"Hm... I wonder where she is... I guess I'll just let Goten eat her chocolate chip pancakes..."

"Chocolate chip pancakes!" Isabella grinned, shooting right up. "My pancakes, Papa!" She told Gohan, starting to jump on the bed.

"Yes, yes, I know," he chuckled as he caught her. "Breakfast is ready, Panny. Your grandparents and Goten are already here."

"Okay Papa," she yawned. "I'll be right down."

Gohan smiled at her, "good. Your mother and I have some important news to discuss with you."

Pan watched her father go silently. She was curious about this news, the last time he had told her they had some news for her, she ended up being a big sister eight months later. Pan sat up and stretched; she loved Isabella, but she didn't think another baby was on the way.

"Panny!" She heard her Uncle Goten call from downstairs. "If you don't get down here quick, I'll eat all of your pancakes instead!"

"I'm coming, Uncle!" She called to him, knowing it would aggravate him. Half of the time people were surprised to find out they were uncle and niece instead of siblings... And Pan could understand why. Goten was only eighteen, three years older than her. Her father was a good sixteen years older than him. Not to mention, her and Goten tended to act like siblings as well...

Pan made we way to the kitchen and sat next to Goten, who looked at her. "What crawled into your hair last night?"

"Shut up," she muttered, blowing a tangle out of we face.

"Oh yes, I like this one too," Chi-Chi smiled.

"And it's big enough for all of us," Videl smiled. "Bulma-san sure does have nice taste, don't she?"

"What are they looking at?" Pan asked Goten.

"Houses," he answered, handing her a plate full of bacon.

"Houses?" Pan repeated, a bit in shock. What was her Gran and Mom doing looking at houses? "Are we moving?!" She asked a bit louder than expected.

"Oh, Pan," Videl noticed her now. "Good morning, honey."

"Mama, are we moving?" Pan asked again.

"Well... You see..." Videl began.

"We are," Gohan spoke up.

"What...?" Pan's voice was weak. "Why...?" Her whole life she had always lived in the same house in the middle of the woods. It wasn't fancy, but it wasn't rundown either! And her Grandparents and Goten were right next door!

"I got a great job offer in West City, Panny," Gohan explained. "It's to be a scholar at the University there."

Pan frowned, now feeling guilty. Her dad had always wanted to teach at West City's University... And even if he flew, it would probably take him a good hour or two to get there.

"Your grandparents and Goten are coming with us," Gohan added.

"You are?" Pan asked, feeling slightly better. At least if they were going to the big city, she would have her family with her.

"Mhm," Goku nodded towards her. "Your Grandmother has been wanting to move for a while now, she misses all our old friends, and if we move to West City, Bulma is right there in town."

"Bulma... As in Bulma Brief?" Pan raised a brow. She didn't know much about the woman, only that she ran the biggest company in the world- Capsule Corp, and that she was genius.

"Yes, she's an old friend of ours," Gohan smiled.

"She is?!" Pan asked in disbelief, why had she never met her?

"You're probably too you to remember her," Videl told Pan, finding her daughter's shock amusing. "Or her children, Trunks and Bulla. Say, isn't Bulla around Pan's age?"

"Yeah, I believe so," Gohan smiled. "And Goten is only about a year younger than Trunks."

"And Panny," Goku spoke up. "They're half-Saiyans too."

"They are...?" Pan whispered, her eyes wide. She wished she could remember them... But now she would be meeting them again. She still felt nervous about leaving the home she had known all her life, but her family was with her and she would be meeting other Saiyans as well. Finally, she would meet people that understood what it felt like to be a bit stronger than everyone else. Who understood just how difficult it was to fit in...

"Panny, I'm sorry, we should have discussed this with you as well..." Gohan spoke up.

"It's fine, Papa," she told him. "It's just... Going to take some getting use to, I think..."

"Yeah," Goten smiled. "You better bring a map with you everywhere you go. Cause I know you'll get lost."

"I will not!" Pan defended.

"Will too!" Goten shot back. "You get lost in our backyard all the time!"

"The woods are big!"

"Why don't you just fly out?!"

"Ugh Go-nii!" Pan glared at him. "I eventually find my way out!" She crossed her arms.

"You two should have been siblings," Gohan mused.

XxXxX

A week had never passed more quickly in Pan's life. Before she knew it all her things were in Capsules, thanks to Bulma being kind enough to send them some. Even though the packing was easy, it didn't make anything emotionally better.

Pan frowned around her empty room. It seemed so big now, when she had thought it was rather small.

"Hey," Goten walked in, causing her to look up at him with her sad eyes.

"Go-nii..." Pan whispered. "We've always lived here... How are we going to fit into the city?"

"We'll find a way," he told her. "We always do."

"I guess so," Pan frowned. "You said you remembered Trunks and Bulla, right? What do you think they're like now?"

Goten shrugged, "I don't know about now... Man," he sighed. "I just hope they're not snobs cause you know, they are the riches people in the world..." He scratched the back if his head, "However, from what I can remember years ago- they were nice people- well, mostly. Bulma was very nice and kind, Bulla was just a baby, only two at the time. Trunks was kind of arrogant and cocky, but he was strong ad fun to hang out with. Vegeta, he's the only other full-blooded Saiyan other than Dad... Well, Vegeta scared me..." He frowned, his eyebrows knitting together.

Pan giggled, "I guess we'll find out when we meet them, won't we?" She turned serious as she spoke, "I have a feeling that everything is about to change..."

"Probably," Goten nodded, putting his hands in his pockets.

"Everything is going to be different now.."

"Yeah, but no matter what happens, we'll still be here for you, Pan-Chan. We're just moving, let's be thankful it's not some villain wanting to over the world."

Pan smiled at him, grabbing his arm. "Let's go, Go-nii..." She stopped before they exited the door, turning around to look at her old room, her old life, one last time before the door shut on it.
