It didn't take too long for Bellatrix and Hermione to be covered in sex-induced sweat. Bellatrix laid on top of Hermione under the covers holding her face in her hands and rubbing their noses together.
"I don't think anyone can make me feel as amazing you do," Hermione breathed.
"Well, I'm no man with a big appendage, but…" Bellatrix stopped herself thinking she was sounding ridiculous.
"No, go on," Hermione was curious.
"We could buy…one of those muggle strap-ons, and I've heard around that placing a spell on it would make the person wearing it feel whatever is done to it."
"That sounds really kinky."
"It's just an idea, but, we would have to take precaution, because I have heard of plenty of women getting other women pregnant that way."
Hermione raised her eyebrows, "Wait, you mean that's how two women can make a baby? I so can't believe Ginny knew that before I did."
"I have a lot to introduce you," Bellatrix smirked.
"I want to stay like this forever," Hermione said pulling her closer, if that was possible.
"Super hot, sweaty, and probably smelly?" Bellatrix pulled her face away a little.
"I feel so safe right now, here in your arms, just, like, this." Bellatrix smiled at her as she continued, "Naked and all yours to do whatever you want with."
"Whatever I want, huh?" Bellatrix rolled over onto her back and pulled Hermione to her side, "All I want to do right now is sleep next to you, knowing you're okay, happy, safe, and comfortable."
Hermione laid her head on Bellatrix's shoulder and was fast asleep within the minute. Bellatrix turned her head to look out at the sky, as she did a lot of, before closing her own eyes.
Early the next morning, Draco Malfoy drifted down the foggy main street in Knockturn Alley. Since the end of the war he usually steered clear of this place, but would only go back to the betting shop to place money on certain quidditch teams. While waiting for his turn in line, only a few people ahead of him, he turned and looked across the street to see a man he recognized as Amycus Carrow walk into the building across the street named The Coffin House. "Raising the dead," was what his father had told him that shop was all about. Draco thought about what he could possibly want with whatever was in there. A few minutes, later, Carrow walked back out smiling and pulled out a small snake from his cloak pocket. The snake seemed to understand what he was saying to him. Draco still wondered and scrunched his face, Carrow, raising the dead, and a snake. Wait….he thought. It can't be. That's just ridiculous. "Voldemort," Draco whispered.
"Sir! You're next!" the man at the counter yelled startling him.
"Uh, s-sorry," Draco looked at him and walked out of the line and out the door to watch Amycus Carrow disappear into the crowd. He wanted to talk to someone about his gut feeling, but who? Who was always getting themselves involved in trouble and other people's business? Draco apparated before saying to himself, "Potter."
A well-rested Bellatrix opened her eyes and stretched seeing the bright sun already shining through the windows. When she felt nothing but sheets next to her, she looked and saw Hermione gone. She got up putting pajamas on and walked out onto the balcony. The garden looked lonely. She would ask Hermione if they could do something about it today. She looked around and saw the young witch sitting at a table near the pool.
"Hey, lover girl!" she shouted down.
Hermione turned around and smiled up at her blowing a kiss. Bellatrix walked back inside to run downstairs and join her.
"I made coffee," Bellatrix said bringing out two cups to the table.
"Mmm, it smells divine," Hermione said with her eyes closed.
"What's this, the Bellatrix Blog?"
"Yes, I thought I'd…" Hermione was cut off by a loud barking. She and Bellatrix both looked over to the neighbor's yard and saw a tall man running after a medium-sized dog.
"Sorry about that," the man yelled in their direction. A woman his age opened the back door, "Patrick, can't you handle that dog?!" she yelled at him. The man stood by the fence and picked up the excited animal.
Hermione looked back at Bellatrix, "Let's go introduce ourselves," she whispered, "I already looked them up, they're muggles, so control yourself." Bellatrix huffed loudly, but got up and followed Hermione. When they got up to the fence, Hermione put out her hand, "Hello, my name is Hermione! This is my girlfriend, Bellatrix." The woman walked up to the fence as well.
"Nice to meet you, Hermione," the man said, "My name is Patrick and this is my wife, Judy."
"Girlfriend, eh," the woman eyed Hermione and Bellatrix, "You both live here?"
"Yes," Hermione nodded.
"As just friends and roommates, you mean?"
"Well, no, we're..together."
"Let me understand, you both are women, but you're….romantically together?"
"Judy, please," Patrick was still trying to settle the excited dog.
"Yes, and I suppose you're romantically involved with him, right?" Bellatrix spoke up, "I suppose that's known of my business though."
The woman squinted her eyes at Bellatrix, "How old are you?"
"What's it matter?"
"You look awfully old to be shacking up with a young girl like her."
Hermione immediately put her hand in Bellatrix's and squeezed tightly.
"Now, Judy, why do you always have to ruin things with the neighbors? Look I'm sorry, it was nice to meet you, but we better go."
"Nice to meet you," Hermione walked away with Bellatrix and they went back inside. Bellatrix pulled her hand away from Hermione and threw herself down onto the couch into a sitting position.
"I fucking hate muggles," Bellatrix said.
"They're not all like that, Bella," Hermione sat down next to her.
"Did you hear the way she was talking to us? Like we need her approval to be together."
"Don't let her get you upset. Let her be mad at stupid little things."
"They're not stupid and little."
"What, you being older and therefore more developed than me," Hermione ran her hand across Bellatrix's chest slowly, then she sat on her lap and held her face in her hands. "Let her be mad because I enjoy this face. I enjoy kissing this face." Hermione kissed her. "I enjoy smelling this face."
"Is my face the only part you like about me?"
"Oh, definitely not," Hermione laughed.
"We can go back out there and fool around right in front of her."
"No way," Hermione laughed again.
"Well let's go back out there anyway, I want to put flowers in the garden."
"We can't use magic," Hermione said as Bellatrix went to grab her wand.
"What, why not?"
"Because the muggles would see."
"Ugh, they ruin everything."
"Come on. We can go shopping for flowers to plant. I can invite Ginny and Luna, and maybe we can get that thing we were talking about last night."
"You know where to get those?"
"Not really, but I'm sure Ginny does."
"How does she know these things? I thought she was with Potter?"
"She is, but she's Ginny and she just knows more things about certain subjects than I do. It upsets me sometimes, but I get over it."
"You and your perfectionism, it's not healthy."
"I know. I've always found myself wanting to prove myself to everyone, especially since finding out about me being a witch…. A muggle-born witch. I wasn't accepted a lot when I first went to Hogwarts."
Bellatrix looked away guiltily, then back at Hermione. "Well, you're accepted now by a lot of great people. You're especially accepted by me and always will be, no matter if anyone, even that old bat over there, doesn't accept our relationship. I'll always stay loyal to you, no matter what."
"Promise?" Hermione knew she didn't knew to hear it, but asked anyways.
"I promise."
Hermione's phone buzzed with a text message from Draco.
Draco: Can you give me Potter's number?
Hermione: Let me ask him first. I don't like giving out other people's numbers without their permission.
Hermione got off Bellatrix and texted Harry.
Hermione: Draco just texted me asking for your number…. Is it okay if I give it to him?
Harry: Sure, that's odd though.
Hermione sent the number. "Draco just asked for Harry's number," Hermione laughed a little turning to Bellatrix.
"Good, he needs friends other than the tosspots he generally hangs around with."
"I have the feeling he doesn't want to just sit with Harry and have drinks."
Bellatrix scrunched her face, "Hermione, you're not insinuating…?"
"No, I was so not going there! Is that all your mind thinks about?"
"Try being in Azkaban for 13 years."
"Oh, so you're only in the mood for me because you've been deprived of any sexual contact," Hermione teased getting off of her.
Bellatrix quickly pulled her back onto her lap. She placed a hand on her cheek and kissed her.
"No," Hermione continued changing back to the Draco conversation, "His text message just seemed like he worried."
"Maybe he just wants to ask him something," Bellatrix brushed it off, "Something about quidditch or whatever other stupid things they're interested in."
"Yeah, you're probably right." Hermione still had an uneasy feeling about the situation.
"Ugh," Bellatrix pushed Hermione off of her and got up, "We left our coffee outside and it's probably cold now, thanks to that woman." She walked outside and grabbed the two mugs and went back inside.
"I just texted Ginny to see if she and Luna want to go shopping with us."
"This is my life now, hanging out with young adults."
"Sorry we don't move as fast as Voldemort."
Bellatrix suddenly felt a slight twinge of pain in her arm where her dark mark again and she made a face.
"What," Hermione noticed.
She shook her head not wanting to worry Hermione about something that was probably nothing, "Nothing. Come on, let's meet Ginny." She grabbed Hermione's hand and they apparated to the Burrow.
Meanwhile, Harry and Draco were in deep discussion in a corner at a table in The Leaky Cauldron.
"Okay," Harry said running a hand through his hair, "So, tell me again when Nagini had babies."
"It was around New Years Eve," Draco breathed. "I remember because…because he was in a very good mood. He said Nagini's babies finally hatching was the best birthday present he had received in a very long time. I just thought he was crazy at the time."
"But he died," Harry said almost on denial, "He died that day, his body vanished into a million pieces!"
"I know. Look, maybe it's nothing, but I just had really bad feeling, and I didn't know who else to talk to that wouldn't think I was a complete nutter…. Like, does your scar hurt anymore?"
"No, it wouldn't, the part of Voldemort in me is dead."
Draco's arm where his dark mark was gave a little jolt inside him.
"Hopefully it's nothing but your paranoia from everything that happened," Harry said to him, "But, thanks Draco for reaching out to me."
Harry left him after a few minutes and Draco sat there alone hoping he wasn't going to have to face the snake-like man again.
