I can only imagine the faces of people when they found out that I FINALLY updated this story, haha. Though I can't really blame them, anyway guys yes I'm back with a new chapter. Now the reason this story took so long to update is because long term wise I was working on other stories and well stories like this I made almost on the spot so I never really had to many ideas for it. Though recently when I had tried to work on this chapter I was stopped by my dreaded college work (honestly it's been brutal). Anyway though guys hope you enjoy : )

Balto slowly opened his eyes, as he did he felt warmth on his back and saw in front of him a bright area on the floor which had a shadowed casted from a window behind him, it was now daytime. Balto sighed as he started to get up but felt something over his torso.

Realizing this he turned his gaze over to the side to find Jenna's paw over him, Balto smiled /if only it could be like this every morning/ Balto thought as he enjoyed the idea of Jenna and him being able to spend more time together.

Wanting to wake up his body, Balto slowly went to get up as to not disturb Jenna, as he did though he felt pain in his paw which resulted in making him cringe and go back on his side.

Balto felt the paw over his chest move away "Balto?!" Jenna asked in a concerned low voice.

Balto turned so that he was now lying on his stomach, he faced her "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you" Balto apologetically responded.

Now Jenna had turned so she was lying on her stomach, she looked at Balto's paw "Balto you really shouldn't move with your paw like that" Jenna told Balto in care.

Balto looked at Jenna confidently "Believe me it nothing" Balto said starting to stretch, going into a bow position.

As Balto stretched he winced in pain due to his paw, Jenna just smiled at him "Balto" Jenna said with an obvious tone.

Balto looked over at Jenna "Well I have been through worse" Balto proclaimed as he proceeded to sit down, ignoring whatever pain he was currently receiving.

Jenna repositioned herself so that she was now sitting "That may be but injuries are injuries and you have to treat them as such" Jenna reasoned.

Balto moved his focus to the walls surrounding him "I can see why people like homes, they are definitely better than the outdoors" Balto pointed out.

Jenna now, also looked around "To be honest there is a chance that you may be able to stay here" Jenna said.

Balto turned to Jenna "What are you talking about?" Balto asked confused.

As Jenna was about to answer the basement door opened, Rosy who appeared to have just gotten out of bed walked through.

She turned toward Jenna "Morning Jen-Balto!" Rosy said excitedly noticing the town hero in her basement.

Rosy quickly rushed down the stairs and immediately went over to pet Balto "Hey boy how've you been?" she curiously asked.

Balto responded by giving a lick to Rosy's face, Rosy giggled.

Rosy then looked at the half wolf confused "Even though I have nothing against you being here I still have to wonder, how did you get in here?" Rosy asked now wondering.

Rosy watched as Balto's eyes moved over towards Jenna then she too looked at her dog "I knew you two liked each other" Rosy said smiling which resulted in Jenna turning her head a bit embarrassed.

Balto very quietly laughed a little to himself seeing how Jenna had gotten embarrassed by her owner.

"You know Balto, since you saved me and the whole town I bet people are finally going to realize how special you are" hearing this, Balto now turned towards Rosy "Even my dad finally realized how great your are" Rosy explained.

Balto looked at the ground, sure he was glad that maybe he wouldn't be hated on as much by the towns people as much now but even still. It was hard for him to even believe that people like Rosie's father just changed his opinion about him in less than day.

The town hero now looked at the window where the light was shining through, for the first time he didn't feel any fear of walking straight down the street and hoping he wouldn't get run out.

Balto closed his eyes and started to smile at the thought, all of a sudden he felt two arms going across his chest, he looked behind to find Rosy hugging him "I know your happy by what I just told you, but I can't even imagine how much joy your probably in right now" said Rosy feeling happy for the half breed.

Rosy now turned to Jenna "You're one lucky girl Jen, to be with someone who's a town hero" she said teasing Jenna "Balto and Jenna sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g" Rosy said giggling a bit, Jenna's face went flush in response.

Even Balto now felt a bit embarrassed, he could handle the complements but the last thing Rosy said made him feel flustered.

Rosy released her arms around Balto before standing up "I'll be right back" said Rosy as she quietly but quickly went up the stairs.

After Rosy left, Balto looked over at Jenna "For a little one she sure has a lot of energy" Balto said with a small chuckle.

Jenna looked at Balto before shyly looking at her tail "yeah, that's one way to put it" Jenna responded giving a bit of a nervous chuckle.

For the next few seconds both were quiet, both feeling a little awkward and embarrassed "To be honest I don't just see you as a town hero" Jenna said breaking the silence making her way over to Balto "I also see you as someone that is kind and always caring for others" Jenna now sat next to Balto nuzzling his neck.

As the two shared a moment Rosy was watching from the stairs feeling joy for the two, wanting to give them a moment before she would go past them and outside.

Alright, I think this is a good place to leave off. This chapter I really wanted to get interaction between Balto, Jenna and Rosy. I just feel that it's a concept that really hasn't been touched upon by many so when I see something like that I really try to add it in. Now as far as I can tell you there is only one more chapter to this story. Now after the next chapter I'm still thinking on whether I should try to continue it or just re-write the story entirely. Due to my interest and now possible addiction to my Mergence story, any stories like this (made in an instant, 1000 words per chapter) will possibly be re-done in the future and re-done to be better and not such a simple story line.
