Finale
This is a tribute to the Firestar and the Warriors series. The reason why I included them both is because Firestar IS the face of Warriors. The serires began with him, and it ended with him. He was the outside the saw Tigerstar's treachary, and the one who led the Clans against BloodClan and defeated Scourge. He led the four Clans across the mountains and to the lake. He fought just as fiercely as every warrior and struggled to do the right thing.
That is why Firestar is one of my favorite warriors. He wasn't just A warrior. He was THE warrior.
Despite the fact that "The Dawn of the Clans" is coming out, in my mind, Warriors will always end with the death of Firestar. So, I bid it, and our flame-colored Clan leader farewell.
I do not own Warriors. Erin Hunter does.
Please listen to the song "Name Above All Names" by City of the Fallen when reading this. It will take longer to read it than the song actually is, but if you replay it, the song is what inspired this. Imagine the entire saga taking place as you read this listen to the song. Hopefully it will help you experience what I intended this to be.
Long ago, a prophecy was given.
It proclaimed that fire alone would save the Clans.
And because of the word of StarClan, Bluestar welcomed Rusty to her Clan.
He faced prejudice.
He faced scorn and hatred.
But he fought it.
He fought them, and proved them wrong.
"Four will become two.
Lion and Tiger will meet in battle.
And Blood shall rule the forest."
He destroyed Scourge, and protected his Clan.
The Clans have now been under a new threat.
"There will be three.
Kin of your kin,
Who have the power of the stars in their paws"
"Three must become four to battle the darkness."
The three have indeed become four.
But the truth has now been revealed—the first prophecy was never completed.
Fire must save the Clans one final time.
He fights.
He prevails.
He wins.
Through his journey,
Through his pain,
Through his anguish,
Through his suffering,
His legacy,
His leadership,
His sacrifice
We thrive.
He has made this possible.
He has shown us the truth of the warrior code that the generations have forgotten.
Though his rules and methods were questioned, he put his Clan first.
He helped us see the truth of what it means to be a warrior.
We are warriors.
And we will fight.
We will fight for our territory,
For our land,
For our mates,
For our kittens,
For our brothers,
For our sisters,
For our mother and fathers,
For our honor,
For our Clan
This is how it always has been.
And this is how it always will be.
