The sky drained the darkness from its skin and emitted happiness as a dash of blue painted itself across. The white, thin clouds separated and let the sun rise its rays throughout the sky. At the same time though, the cheery weather couldn't affect the lonely girl sitting outside.

The whole world was still spinning and life was going on like normal. She couldn't see or bask in the beautiful wonders the world had to offer. Instead, she felt darkness and emptiness clash against one another. Because of the accident years ago, she lost her sight and the beauty that she once had.

No one dared to come near her and everyone called her "Bloody Mary 2.0" because she was terrifying to look at. Her golden curls were now matted pieces of hair cut in different angles, half of her skin was burned to the point of redness, and her eyes held no emotion whatsoever. The sight of her lost all the hope of someone realizing how she was feeling. The flames of the accident haunted her everyday and life was just an example of why she didn't want to live anymore.

She wanted a hand.

She wanted to feel closure.

She needed a friend.

Scared and alone, Rima's heart was tearing her to pieces on the inside. All of the laughter and harsh words she heard each day built up the piles of low self esteem she was having. Her friends were no where to be found, for they had moved on to other places.

She could never look at anything ever again.

And now she realized how much people only loved her for her looks when she was still beautiful. She realized who was truly there for her and who wasn't. Everything was adding up now.

But she was still alone.

That is, until another hand gently caressed the top of hers and she looked around in every direction. Not a word was said but the warmth of their hand made her feel safe. Perhaps the silence of emotions is much powerful than a thousand words being said at once. For the first time in her life, she wanted to truly cry but she couldn't. Instead, she held onto that hand because she was gripping her future.

A/N: The whole point of this was because Rima's beauty is a key element that makes up her character. You see how she has many fanboys because of her cold personality and looks. What I wanted to put here was to make Rima go through an accident and show that not everyone is going to be there for her. There is a difference and that difference is that people will either like you for YOU or for your looks.

I'm sure you know who held her hand. It doesn't need to be said.
