It was a hot, boring day afternoon in Olivine City. Most people and Pokemon had made their way down to the beach to cool off, while some preferred to stay inside. Some like a boy by the name of Anthony. Currently, he's in his Summer home in Olivine, shirtless in his room. Everything was good, up until his Pachirisu decided to give him some 'School' lessons.
"Audraaaaa..let me relaaaax.." The blonde haired boy groaned in his pillow.
"[No, now pay attention!]" Said Pachirisu yelled and tapped a blackboard with a stick of chalk. On said board was what seemed to be a drawing up a human female. "[You're not staying in here all day.]"
"Its to hot to learn.." Anthony sat up and wiped some sweat from his brows. "Can't you go teach Valiant?"
"[He's training with Kou. Now pay attention.]" Audra tapped the board once more and started to explain-In her own language- how to ask a girl out on a date. To Anthony, however, most of it was just gibberish and most he didn't even pay attention too. "[…And lastly; Listen to her and don't just block her out.]" Audra finished after a few minutes.
"Man, wish I had that power.." Anthony mumbled as he read one of his comic books. He then flipped the page. "Or maybe that one.."
"[Anthony!]" Audra shouted and chucked the chalk at his head, hitting him square on the forehead.
"Ow! What was that for?" He gently rubbed the smudge of chalk off his forehead and looked at his Pachirisu.
"[You weren't paying attention.]" Audra replied with her arms crossed and while tapping her foot.
"What? I heard everything you said." Anthony said and folded his arms childishly.
"[No you didn't. You were reading that comic the whole time!]" She climbed down from the board and made her way over to the bed, climbing up and settling down in Anthony's lap. "[Listen here, Anthony. I don't want to be mean to you and I certainly don't want to teach you all this. But as your first Pokemon, its my job to make sure your well and happy, and to make you have I want to help you find a girlfriend. I recommend Fawn, as you two seem to have bonded since the first time you met. I find her silly, yet clumsy, but she also reminds me a little of you. Plus, she's Felix's trainer, so it works out for the both of us. Now you go out there, be a man, and ask that girl out! Are you with me?!]" She held her paw up with a determined look in her eyes.
Anthony stared down at her, the same look in his eyes. "Yea! I'll go ask Stella out on a practice date right now!" He grinned and shot up, Audra falling onto the bed.
"[…What?]" Audra stared up at him in disbelief.
"Practice makes perfect!" He ran over to his door and pulled it open, but stopped when he saw his blonde haired little sister standing in the hall. "Need something, Morgen?"
"Nooope! Just came to tell you that Ario brought over Xeric and now the two of us are going to exploring." She said with a wide, innocent smile.
"I dunno..a lot of weird people are hanging around these days.." Anthony said while rubbing his chin.
"Big brotheeeeer! Xeric and I both have a Pokemon, we can handle ourselves. Necia and I have been training a lot." As if on cue, a small, orange fox Pokemon came bounding up the stairs and down the hall, stopping beside her blonde trainer.
"I.." Anthony sighed. "Fine, I suppose you can go. Just don't go off to far, alright? I know how you can be.."
"Yay!~" Morgen cheered and picked up her young Fennekin. The little fox Pokemon also cheering.
"And don't be out to late! Or Mom will have BOTH our butts!" Anthony shouted as Morgen ran down the hall. "Now to ask out my white-haired friend." He announced to himself and walked across the hall to another bedroom door, opening it without knocking.
"Stellaaaa! I have a que-" He stopped mid sentence upon seeing said girl almost naked, nothing but a bra on her. "..Oh."
"Anthony..!" She yelled and dived behind her bed. "Can't you knocked, please..?!"
"I..umm.." He stuttered, face as red as a tomato. "Sorry..!"
"[Out! Out! Out! Out!"] Audra came up behind Anthony and started pulling on his pants legs, whilst sending him a shock.
"Ow! Ok!" He quickly closed the door and backed out of the room. "That was NOT supposed to happen.."
"[Knock next time and it won't!]" Audra yelled and slapped his leg.
"Honest mistake.." Anthony said and scratched his cheek bashfully.
Audra sighed and shook. "[You're a real piece of work..]"
"You're no different.." He said back to her.
"[How'd you even manage to get your parents to agree with you living alone with a teenage girl?]"
"..A lot of begging and pleading." He said after a minute of silence.
"[…Go put on a shirt.]"
Anthony looked down and seemed a bit shocked. "So I don't have on a shirt..hmm.." He mused and went back to his room.
As he left, Stella finally came out of her room, fully dressed in her usual attire of a Green plaid mini coat, along with a matching skirt, with a white under shirt. She also Has a black bow in her hair. and black dress shoes.
"What was that all about..?"
"[Its best if you find out yourself.]" Audra told her.
"But-"
"[You're finding out yourself.]"
"Alright then.." She deflated slightly.
Anthony soon came back out dressed in a blue Hawaiian shirt with white flowers, blue shorts and a pair of sandals. "Much better!" He grinned.
"Anthony..did you want to ask me something?" Stella asked with her head tilted.
"Yea!" He put his hands on her shoulders and stared into her eyes. "Stella…why're you dressed like this? it's a bit to hot for this.."
"I don't have any other cloth." She said and blushed slightly.
"Well then, later..we're getting you some more cloth." He nodded.
"Oh you don't have to do that. I'm just fine in these."
"Nu uh! You're getting new cloth and that's that!" He nodded at her again, then turned to Audra and nodded at her. Said Pachirisu just gave him an irritated look.
"If you say so.."
"Now let us go! We have a date!" He said and grabbed her hand.
"Date? What're yo-Woah!" She didn't get a chance to finish as Anthony had already started pulling her down the stairs.
"Don't have any wild parties while we're out, Audra!" Anthony shouted before he ran out the house with Stella.
"[As if I'd throw a wild party. Who do you think I am? Jupiter?]" Audra groaned and shook her head.
"I never agreed to this, you know.." Stella said to Anthony as they walked through Olivine City.
"Aw c'mon, its just a practice date." He smiled at her.
"So you're using me?" She questioned cautiously.
"Well when you put it like that it sounds like I'm using you.."
"You kind of are. Its not right to use people."
"I know I know. Its just..I've never been on a date so I need practice.." He told her and elt go of her hand.
"I've never been on a real date either."
"Whaaa? But you're one of the prettiest girls I know! You're white hair makes you look so unique." He said and gently ran his hand through her hair.
Stella blushed and turned away. "Y-yea..a lot of people stare at my hair when they first meet me.."
'Well I like it!" He announced and grabbed her hand again, dragging her through Olivine City.
"Where are we going exactly?" She eventually asked.
"This nice little restaurant called the Moonlight Cafe." As he said that, they came upon a small, one-story restaurant with a wooden sign with 'Moonlight Café' on it. The inside had a pleasant vibe to it. The people and pokemon inside were talking quietly to each other at their tables and booths. Anthony led Stella to the front counter to place their order.
"What can I do for you today?" The lady in the front asked them with a kind smile.
"We'll have..umm.." Anthony looked above the lady's head at the menu. "Spaghetti!" He suddenly blurted out, causing both girls to jump.
"Well, I see you like your pasta.." The counter lady said with a light giggle. She then turned to Stella. "And you'll be having the same thing?"
"Yes ma'am." Stella said and bowed her head.
"You don't have to bow to me." The lady said. "Anyway, what would you like to drink?"
"Just water, please." Stella told her.
"Tea for me." Anthony smiled.
"Alright then. Go pick out a table and we'll have your food and drink their in a jiffy." The lady nodded.
Anthony led Stella to an empty table by the window and pulled the chair out for her. "Oh, thank you.." She sat and smiled, blushing slightly.
Anthony just grinned and sat in his own seta across from her, looking around and examining the people and Pokemon. He then turned back to her. "So…how's your home life?"
"Uhhh.." She looked confused at the random question. "Haven't I already told you where I came from..?"
"Yea..but I'm just trying to make conversation."
"I see..well..I came from Goldenrod City, like you. Only I came from the..'Bad' side of it." She said and he nodded. "My Father is..a ruthless man who abandoned me in the forest and the girls found me."
"The 'girls"..?" Anthony asked, looking confused.
"He..doesn't know what Audra does when he's not around, does he..?" She thought to herself. "Yes, the girls..Audra and Halona. You know Halona, right?"
Anthony nodded. "Yea, Ario's Munchlax."
"Correct. She and Audra nursed me back to health and we were introduced..again." she finished.
"..Again?"
Stella smiled sweetly. "You probably don't remember, but I sure do. You, Ario, Fawn and I met many years ago in the National Park. We were just children then, so I don't blame you for not remembering."
Anthony scratched his chin in thought. "I DO remember a shy girl.." He mused.
"You three were the first human friends I ever had.." She sighed. "I went back to the park to see if any of you would still be there, but I didn't find anyone."
"…" Anthony reached out and put his hand on hers. "I may not remember everything clearly, but I'm here now."
"Thank you, Anthony. I don't get a lot of real friends because of..you know, my past."
"What are friends for?" He asked with a bright smile. Just then, the waitress brought their food and drink over and gently placed it on the table.
"Have a nice meal.~" She bowed and made her way over to another table.
"Smells great." Stella said and picked up a fork.
"Tastes just as good." Anthony replied and picked up his own fork.
Soon, the two started to eat their spaghetti. Anthony was gulping his down like a pig. Upon tasting her, Stella joined in. This 'Date' would have been over sooner, but it was just too good and the two ended up calling for seconds and then thirds. If they hadn't gotten so full, they would have likely eaten all the pasta the café had. After the two had finished, Anthony paided for their food and drinks and left the waitress a hefty tip for being such a good waitress.
Once outside, Anthony yawned and stretched. "Man that was good.."
"I've sure never eaten like THAT before.." Stella giggled and gently wiped some tomato sauce off her mouth.
"You should try more often." Anthony grinned and started walking back to his Summer home.
"Perhaps.." Stella followed, yawing herself. "Being full sure makes you tired.."
"Yea, I'm taking a nap when I get back.."
"I may do the same.." It took them only a few minutes to get back to the house, they both headed inside and started to go upstairs.
"[How'd the date go?]" Audra asked, sitting on the couch and eating some chips.
"Oh hey, Audra, our date went preeeetty good." Anthony said before heading upstairs.
Audra then turned to Stella for a better explanation. "..I ate like a pig." Stella answered and headed upstairs as well.
"She needs to start hanging out with that Zaire guy some more.." Audra said and shook her head.
"See you when we wake up, Anthony." Anthony said and walked into her room.
"Same to you.." He replied and went to his own.
The two yawned again and climbed into their respective beds, quickly falling asleep. A short day, yes, but the two had fun and were getting prepared to asked out their real loves. They also seem to have forgotten that Stella needed new cloth.
Short, yet i'm a little disappointed in this one. I feel like I rushed it. I'm also starting to believe I do better with Pokemon love rather than two humans.
