Two of a Kind

Hey peps this is a one shot about how alike Rome and America are. I don't know maybe their will be more of these in the future. Anyway I just finished watching the rise and fall of Rome (Don't ask why.) and the whole time I was watching it I kept comparing it to my country (America) and so was all the people in the comment section on youtube. I went fanfic hoping to find something between Ancient Rome and America and I found next to nothing. So I wrote this. I hope you like it, and heres a wish to some more about these two characters in the future.

Ps: My computers having problems latly so if their is any spelling errors or something I'm sorry, I'll try to aviod them.

Brition Pov:

England sipped at his tea, thinking over all that had happened throughout the day. America had insisted on giving him a tour of his capital DC since he was their for a business meeting anyway, stupid git.

But walking through the idiots capital brought back a lot of unhappy memories...not about the revolution, why people kept thinking he was still holding a grudge about the git leaving him was beyond him. But the memories brought back of someone else.

Rome. Englands teeth clenched at the memory. How the loud mouth rediculously strong man kept insisting he become apart of the Roman empire. Everything was fine before he came along.

But seeing those building got him thinking. He understood that America held Rome to high esteems (Despite how England kept on insisting he was a far better empire.) and looked up to the ancient, but now that he thought about it their was something else.

The more he thought about it the more alike they seemed. They both got really strong from a young age, and were a first of its kind. Creating new ways of thinking, and working things. The improvment on living, that spread to all of their citizens. As time continued they both gained more land, like it was theirs to begin with. How they both became known througout the world without even trying.

How people flocked to the new way of living, while pointing all the evil they had done.

Brition shook his head ridding himself of these thought. It was complete and utter nonsense that git was nothing like the Great Rome.

But yet he couldn't help but be glad that these two will never meet.
