Hi, guys! Did ya miss me? *dodges items thrown* Well I guess the more accurate thing to ask is if you hate me yet, huh? In reality there is no good reasons why I haven't updated. I mean sure I started a new school year, have way to many standardized tests, just finished this marching band season, and a whole bunch of other things. So, really as you can see I have no good excuses. On the bright side though I got a new computer so yay!
To make up for being gone forever I've made this chapter a little longer than I would normally make chapters and I already started working on the next chapter. Also, for any of you who read my other on-going story Miura D. Storm, I have half of a new chapter done but I don't want to post anything until I finished at least two chapters for you guys.
One more thing I want to mention before you start reading. Over this past year I became a huge Hetalia fan, like, it was bad. So bad I almost fell out of the One Piece fandom. So, as of now I'm pretty far behind in One Piece and I'm working myself back into the fandom where I came from and will always belong.
So, without farther wait, here you go.
~Chapter 9~
"So…. How ya doin'?" Autumn asked with a blank face as the Marines stared at her shell shocked. What kind of crazy was this girl? It didn't take long for all the Marines make their way to the front of the large building.
"What is this?! Why does everyone have to come and shoot at my face?! Answer me!" Autumn yelled throwing a den den mushi that crawled by on the floor at someone's face. The poor snail then clung to the marines face causing the marine to flail and scream. The flailing, screaming marine crashed into and hit a few people and even, accidently, shot one with his gun before finally passing out. The Marines glared at her but she didn't take notice seeing as she was too busy staring, wide eyed at the guy she knocked out. At various audible clicks she looked up from the nameless marine only to see the soldiers with their guns out.
"…Seriously? Come on guys, it was an accident!" Autumn then took off sprinting down the hall, a large group of Marines after her. She ran down the wide hall way, taking a sharp right turn into a smaller corridor barren of any doors. Autumn pushed herself to go faster as she made a series of turns going right, then left, another left, and a right; and she found herself at a stairwell. Hearing the Marines' harsh steps and shouts from behind she jumped down a flight of stairs and took off through the door way. The walls were lined with doors every ten feet or so, all of them were made of plain steal. Autumn kept running even though she couldn't hear the Marines behind her anymore and ran… Straight into a dead end. Gasping for breath she skidded to a halt allowing herself a moment to rest against the wall. Her muscles in her legs were numb and her lungs stung every time she inhaled making her groan between gasps. Too busy gasping and cursing her legs, Autumn failed to the notice the figure walking up behind her until it was too late. The feeling of a hand grasping her wrist pulled her back to reality and as she was pulled towards the figure she got a view of their face and let out a squeal.
"I hate you soooo much right now!" Evva growled as Echo grabbed her wrist and pulled her along. Footsteps thundered overhead as they explored the lower halls and floors of the base. Echo moved faster whenever they heard the sound of footsteps getting closer, causing Evva to stumble and almost trip.
"Would you calm your tits down?!" Evva yelled at Echo who just raised an eyebrow at her.
"…My tits?"
"Yes, your tits!"
"Oh no, ma'am, I assure you that they are in fact perfectly calm and collected, possibly even a tad bit stylish today." Echo said with a serious face making Evva face palm right in the middle of the hallway.
The sound of footsteps was louder now making the two girls jump up and sprint around the corner just in time for a figure to run past them. They heard the sound of rubber soles squeaking against the marble floor, a hand slapping against the wall, and a voice cursing in between gasps. Evva was the first to peek around the corner and a few seconds later Echo leaned over Evva to scan the area.
There before the two girls was Autumn who looked like she was just finished with life. Echo leaped over Evva, pushing her to the floor in the process, and stealthily walked towards the unsuspecting girl. Her hand shot forward grabbing Autumn's wrist in a firm hold and pulling her towards her body. At that moment Autumn's shocked gaze met her happy one and a loud ear piercing squeal was released.
"OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! I FRICKING MISSED YOU! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE!?" Was what came out of Autumn's loud mouth as soon as the squeal ended. Her voice being muffled slightly due to the fact Echo was squishing the young captain's face into her fairly large breasts.
"Awww! Look how big you are Autumn! And look at what you wearing! Wait… What are you wearing? You should wear sexier clothes! You got to show off what you got!"
"Eh! But why, Echo-nee?!" Autumn whined back in protest to the slightly taller girl. Why should she walk around like sex just exploded all over her? Thank you but she was perfectly fine with the kick ass clothes she was already wearing.
"Wait a minute! You mean that you two are siblings!? What the actual fuck!" Evva yelled as everything she had just watched conspire between the two clicked in her brain. She couldn't believe this first she ends up following an idiot then she gets stalked be a second idiot who just so happens to the first idiot's sibling! Oh, fuck her life.
"Ah! Evva! I miss- what are you wearing…" Autumn stopped mid sentence trying to process what her first mate was prancing around the marine base in. Wait, why was she in the marine base any way? Oh well not like matters because she really needed to find…
"HOLY CRAPOLA! I forgot about Calvin!"
Calvin hummed to himself as he walked down the corridor. You would think this being a Marine base you'd have some marines hanging around the building but oh well. Throughout his journey he saw enough doors to last himself a lifetime and he almost fell asleep while walking so many times that he lost count- not like he was counting in the first place. Up ahead of Calvin was an adjacent hallway slightly smaller than the corridor he was in now. He poked his head out around the corner looking to the left and, not seeing anyone, took a step out. As he stepped out he turned his head to look to his right only to miss being flattened by a few inches by none other than Autumn and two other weird girls. The girls ran a few more paces down the hall before Autumn came to a screeching halt, turned around, and came running back towards him.
"Calvin!" She cried, jumping on him before tactlessly falling to the floor.
"We've been looking everywhere for you! Where have you been?!" He glanced at the other to girls, one of which seemed to be getting impatient.
"I was that way." He said like it was the most obvious thing in the world while pointing down the corner that he just stepped out of.
"Who are they?"
"Oh, just my friends." Autumn said dismissively with a cheeky smile.
"Fuck..." The two teens talking turned to the other girls. One had her eyebrow arched looking behind them while the other had a are-you-fucking-kidding-me look on her face. Autumn and Calvin slowly turned their heads to look behind them and when they did they saw something that they wish they hadn't.
"Ahhhhhh!" Both screamed at the top of their lungs, eyes popping out of their heads at the sight. On the other side of the hallway stood a large group of marines, all of which had guns out and ready.
"Oh, holy crap!" Autumn screeched as she took off running towards Evva, grabbing her hand, and continuing on down the hall.
"God damn it, Autumn! This is all you're fault you just had to attract all the marines!" Evva screamed from behind her while Echo just started to laugh. Calvin, seeing the interactions between the two, ran faster so he could talk to Autumn.
"Who's she?" He asked once he caught up.
"Oh, yea, this is Evva my first mate and only member of my crew!" At this statement Calvin raised an eyebrow and cocked his head to the side, all while he was still running.
"You're a pirate?"
"Yeah."
"Like the kind with dreams?"
"Yep."
"And adventures?"
"Yes."
"And music?"
"Of course! What kind of pirate doesn't like music?!" Autumn yelled with a large grin on her face only to be hit in the back of the head by Evva's fist.
"I hate to interrupt-well not really- but in case you didn"t notice we are being chased by marines!" Autumn turned her head to stare blankly at her as the rounded the corner.
"How'd you hit my head?"
"Shut up!"
"No, I'm serious, you're like half a foot shorter than me! Did you have to jump?"
"I said shut up!"
"Uh, guys..." Calvin started but was ignored.
"Guys..." Calvin tried again but was ignored by the bickering girls.
"Don't act like you're better than me just cause you're taller, Miss I'm-flat-chested!" At this Autumn gasped in shock putting a hand over her heart.
"How could you!"
"Hey!" A new voice interrupted the argument causing all heads to turn towards Echo.
"What?!" Both girls demanded at the same time.
"Did you two even notice they stopped chasing us right before we turned down this hallway? I mean, isn't that just the slightest bit suspicious?" Both girls turned to look at each other before shrugging their shoulders and shaking their heads in unison.
"Nah." At this both Echo and Calvin sighed but before anything else could happen the base shook with the force of another explosion and the floor beneath them began to move on its own accord.
