(A/N This is my first story read a bit of it, and if you like it I will write more.)
I woke up at 6:40, like any other morning, but… something felt different. For one it was bright and sunny out. "bright at seven in the morning? There is only one place like that and I'm pretty sure that I am not dreaming" I grabbed my knife, one of two, and walked upstairs.
"Mother?" No response. I went to her room. Her gun was lying on her dresser. "oh god" I thought. She never leaves home without her. She was a Ruger LCP. Nicknamed "Lucie" by my uncle, the previous owner. I grabbed Lucie and continued through the house. No one home. "how strange. The cars are all here."
I finally walked to the door. With some hesitation I opened the blinds to be meet with a very strange sight. A very familiar rainbow maned pony staring back at me. With a short and quiet yelp, I slammed the blinds shut and ran downstairs to my room.
From there I began to forget my previous sorrows and was amazed that my dream had come true! Then I began to get annoyed by the constant knocking of a persistent rainbow dash. "I will have to wait her out." I thought. I set out to playing my computer, which amazingly I still had internet and power. Rainbow dash later got bored and left.
14 hours later
It finally turned dark. I ran upstairs to my mom's safe, which held the gun cabinet's key. I quietly chuckled to myself. I had been obsessed with guns for all my life. I was an expert marksman, proud member of the NRA and a 14 year old boy. Yep that's right 14. I had two 20 gauges, one a pump, the other a break barrel, a break barrel 410 gauge, three .22's two semi autos, one a break barrel, and my mother's .380 semi auto PD Ruger.
Now back to the safe. It was a fingerprint safe, though cheap, it was still very strong. A hammer worked though. I grabbed the pump action 20 gauge, along the game loads we accidentally bought for skeet shooting. I loaded three, the max it held. I then, after some debating with myself, grabbed my IPod too. I walked out the front door, got on my off road bike and explored.
I found that I was not very far from ponyville. Only about two and a half miles to the north. I looked a mile or so to my right, for I was on a steep hill, and saw dash's house. I smiled slightly. She is my favorite pony. As I stared, daydreaming, at her house a rainbow blur came flying at me. "Well, shit" I thought to myself, as I spun around and sped home.
Unfortunately, she was faster. She knocked me off my bike and shouted, "who are you!" I shouted, startling her, then buttsmacked her, knocking her out. "oops, maybe I hit her too hard." I then set out to carry her to under her house and left her. I looked at her lying there on the ground with a large smile. She looked beautiful. I felt a strong pang of guilt for hitting her. "it was self defense…" I kept telling myself as I lay there, running my fingers through her mane.
I then looked down at her. She was awake. I then jumped up and ran home as fast as I could. She did not follow.
Perspective change: Rainbow Dash
Rainbow was laying there dumbfounded. Why would that weird creature do that? The last thing she remembered was a large wood thing with the word Remington on it. She then, wincing because of her head, flew up to her house and proceeded to try and fall asleep. It was very late after all. The last thing that flashed through her mind was the creature beautiful brown eyes.
