Blood chapter 13.

My sight was blurry when I woke up, and I felt warm, and sore all over, especially my back. As I sat up a ray of sunlight suddenly blinded me nd I covered my eyes with my hand, but noticed that the skin was red and dry.

"That's right...the river." I thought as I stood up, "at least I didn't break my back when I fell." Standing up from my bed, I made my way towards the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I looked well rested, but I could see the big bruises on my shoulders from the fall. I brushed my teeth and change my clothes into a pair of dark blue jeans and black sweater.

Soon I heard a knock on my door. Opening the door I found Vladimir standing there with an intense look on his face.

"What?" I asked feeling self conscious under his gaze.

"You're awake." He said, still staring at me with an intense gaze. It was the gaze of an animal longing for something. Before I could say anything I felt his lips crash against mine. At first I was stunned enough that I couldn't move, but when I felt his tongue asking for entrance that's when I replied. Our tongues battled for dominance, but soon I gave up because the need for air was becoming more needed. I gasped as I pulled away from him, but kept my arms securely wrapped around his neck. As I leaned back and panted for air, I felt kisses and licks on my neck, making me shiver, "mine." I heard Vladimir whisper and I shivered.

"Vladimir." I slowly pulled myself up and stared him in the eyes. I could see his possession of me through them, "I never did tell you my feelings." I told him quietly. I felt shy all over.

"Yes you did." He replied smirking. My head shot up and I looked at him with urgency.

"What!" I shrieked.

"After I saved you from the river. You told me you love me." I blushed and turned my head away.

"I wish I had told you under different circumstances." I whispered. I felt a hand cupped my chin and suddenly I was looking Vladimir in the face.

"It gave me strength to make sure you lived, so I could hear your voice and see your smiling face again." He told me smiling. I smiled and tightened my arms around his neck.

"I love you." I said kissing him. He returned the kiss with softness I never thought he would have and it made me weak in the knees.

"Are you okay?" He asked holding onto to me tightly.

"I could get used to this." I purred. He looked confused at first, but suddenly growled in agreement, "but first we have to see the other's." I told him in a apologetic tone. He nodded.

"Yes, I think everyone needs to see that you're doing better."

"I am." I whispered as I smiled at him. He returned the smile.
