Hinata took a deep breath as she sat in one of the many rooms in the hall. She looked at herself in the mirror as her hair was getting styled. It was hard to believe that Naruto had proposed to her… and of course she had accepted. The look on his face had been priceless at the time but mostly because it had almost seemed like he had feared that she wouldn't have accepted. Giving a soft smile, the young woman looked in the mirror as she saw her braid's maid tending to her hair…

"So you nervous Hinata?" asked Sakura, her braid's maid. Hinata gave a small smile. She was a little nervous but maybe it was because she was also excited to go on out in the world as a married woman. Sakura held Hinata's hair up and started to pin the blue strands up in a bun, leaving a few curls down and from what she could see, Sakura was also braiding sakura petals into her hair to make her hair stand out a little more.

Sakura was dressed in a light pink dress that reached her knees, and of course she wore matching pink heeled shoes. In a way, Hinata thought that maybe the pink haired woman seemed to really like pink. Either way, Hinata was just happy that Sakura offered to help with her hair. Looking up at the pink haired woman, Hinata smiled as she said "I'm not as nervous as you were when you thought Sasuke was going to dump you."

"Did you have to bring that up?" Sakura said with a moan, after they had brought Naruto to the hospital, Sasuke had heard that Sakura had been in trouble and rushed toward the hospital when he had found out that she was there. Sakura just stared at Sasuke before she cried in his chest saying how scared she had been. Hinata was happy that everything had worked out for the two of them since Sasuke, of course had been trying to plan the perfect date for the two of them for an anniversary before he had asked her to marry him.

Sadly it didn't seem that was going to work out like he had wanted to ask her but now, Sakura was happy. She still had her wedding in a couple months but at the moment Sasuke and Sakura could wait a little while before they would bet married.

Sakura finished putting Hinata's hair up before she reached over and grabbed a little crown with the veil attached, it would wrap itself around the hair that had been gathered at the top of her head, giving her fancy bun on her head with the curls dangling down the back with two locks of her hair also curled at the sides of her head.

Smiling happily, Hinata rose to her feet as she looked herself over. Her dress was white and she wore long light lavender coloured gloves that reached a little past her elbow. The dress was strapless with what looked like floral patterns made of glass beads that started around the bust line and made its way down until it reached around her waist. The dress made its way until it reached the floor, covering her white dress shoes from everyone's view.

Hinata never knew that she would wear a dress though at the moment she didn't mind. All she cared about was marrying the man that she loved with not just her heart but with her soul. Hinata couldn't help but wonder if something was missing from making this wedding perfect… or at least her outfit perfect. Though nothing came to mind for her since it seemed that no matter what, she just couldn't think on what would be perfect for her dress.

Suddenly, a knock caused Hinata to snap out of her trance, causing her to look toward the door. She didn't think that it would be Naruto; after all she had told him that it was bad luck to look at the bride before the ceremony.

Sakura turned to Hinata as she said "go hide; it might be Naruto trying to get a peek." Hinata nodded and went to hide in the bathroom that was in the room. She closed the door behind her and just listened to what was happening. The young woman didn't know what was really going to happen, but at the moment she really didn't mind though she did want to see Naruto so badly but knew that… that it was bad luck for the groom to see the bride. No matter how much she hated it, she knew that she had to stay hidden until the ceremony.

"Sasuke what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be helping Naruto get ready?" asked Sakura. Hinata frowned a little, why was Sasuke here? Sakura was right, he was supposed to be helping Naruto get ready for the wedding, and yet he was here. Hinata pressed her ear against the door as she listened to what was being said.

"I did, Naruto wanted to give Hinata this but I told him time and again that he couldn't see Hinata. Speaking of which, where is she?" said Sasuke in his usual bored voice. In all honestly, Hinata wondered what Sakura saw in him, he just sounded so bored but maybe he shows his kinder and gentler side with her when no one else was around.

Sakura let out a sigh as she said "I told her to hide in the bathroom in case it was Naruto at the door. Hinata, you can come out, it's okay." Hinata sighed softly before she opened the door and blinked as she peeked her head out the crack of the door and smiled when she saw that it was really just Sasuke. Letting out a deep breath, the young woman walked over to the two young adults and smiled at them, though she frowned a bit wondering what Naruto would want to give her…

"So, what did Naruto want to give me?" asked Hinata with a tilt of her head, it was rather confusing as to why Naruto would want to give her something when he was already giving her something that she already wanted… the love that he had for her, and her love in return. Well, maybe that was equal gifts but either way, they already had it.

Sasuke reached in his pocket and pulled out a necklace. Not just any necklace, it was the one that Naruto always wore when he would change his appearance and, to protect himself from the sun. She figured that since he was human again he wouldn't need it anymore… Smiling softly, she gently took the necklace from Sasuke and looked over at Sakura as she asked her to help put the necklace on.

Taking a deep breath, Hinata looked in the mirror as she stared at her reflection. It was rather weird that Naruto would give her the necklace though she just smiled a bit. Thinking that maybe he gave her the necklace because if it wasn't for it, he wouldn't have come to have saved her all those times. Smiling gently, the young woman just couldn't help but smile a little more at the thought of Naruto being happy to be a human again… that he can finally live the life that he had always wanted.

Taking a deep breath, the young woman looked at her reflection and saw that the blue crystal was perfect. It gave this day more sentimental value. Twirling a bit, Hinata looked at Sakura and Sasuke wondering if she looked nice for the wedding. Sakura gave her a big bright smile. So that was a yes from Sakura at least, turning her gaze to Sasuke, he just made an 'hn' sound so she would take that as a yes as well.

"So you ready Hinata?" asked Sakura.

"Yeah… wait, where's my father?" frowned Hinata. She had asked her father to give her away at her wedding, at first he was angry but he had given her his blessing… A blessing that she would find happiness a lot longer than he did when her mother passed away. Hinata smiled a bit, she knew that it still pained him to have lost his wife but at least he was happy that she found someone that made her happy.

"He's just outside waiting for you. Don't worry Hinata." Sakura said with a smile, which got her to relax a little. Hinata had panicked thinking that her father decided not to come to the wedding at all but at least he did come. All she had to do was go to her father and then the ceremony can begin. Taking a deep breath, the young woman started to make her way out of the room after grabbing her bouquet and walked down the hall as she looked up and smiled when she saw her father.

Her father was a tall man, long brown hair tied back at the nape of his neck for the wedding since he normally has it loose. He wore a simple black suit with a white dress shirt on underneath and matching black dress shoes. Now that she thought about it, Sasuke wore the same thing but with a blue dress shirt underneath and what looked like an orange flower. Maybe because he was Naruto's best man.

Looking over at Sakura, she saw that Sakura wore a lavender flower pinned to her dress, just a little above her breasts. Though she figured the sight would mostly be for Sasuke more than anything else. Hinata of course just kept on smiling, she never knew that this day would come for her, that she would find true love and it would just so happen that it was not only because of some stupid fake test, but because he had been just as lonely as she had been. Even if Naruto had been alone for such a longer amount of time compared to her.

Naruto may have thought of his life as a vampire to have been a curse, but to her it had been a blessing… Because if it hadn't been for that, they would never have been brought together and Naruto would have either remained alone forever or he would have died a long time ago.

Hinata never knew that the joy of love would make her so happy that she would want to cry. Maybe she was just one of those teary brides that cried at their own wedding because they had found the man that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with. Inhaling deeply, the young woman tried to keep herself calm and relaxed, she knew that if she cried Naruto would be concerned and would panic thinking that she was sad about the wedding altogether.

Of course, she also knew that Naruto didn't know how modern weddings were performed so it made it a little difficult for him to understand though she knew that it would take some time. Though maybe since Kurama was sealed within Naruto once more maybe the fox could help Naruto to understand everything that was going on in the modern world. Though, that was if she was right, and if her prayers were answered since she wouldn't really know how to explain this all to him at all.

Taking a deep breath, Hinata looked up at her father and smiled at him. It was nice that her father dressed nice for the wedding at least instead of wearing those robes he tends to wear to special occasions though she didn't mention that to him. Her father's pale lavender eyes looked at her and smiled gently. Gently taking her arm with his, Hinata's father started to walk with her to the main hall where he would give her away. Hinata of course, wondered if her father would say anything to Naruto when he did give her away. It was rather curious as to what he would say though hoped, prayed that it wasn't anything that would make Naruto sweat bullets.

Now that she thought about it, Naruto has been enjoying everything being human had to offer… Maybe it was true, you don't know what you have until it's gone and now that he has it back, Naruto was going to enjoy each and every moment of it no matter what.

Soon, the music started up and that was when Hinata knew that the ceremony was starting. Smiling brightly, Hinata fixed her veil so it would cover her face… The first to walk down the aisle was Sakura and Sasuke. Sasuke of course, escorting the pink haired woman down the aisle so she could stand in her place, which would be behind the bride and Sasuke, would stand behind the groom.

When it was her turn, Hinata couldn't help but smile a bit. Even if she was really nervous but maybe she was also just very excited. That could be it, both excited and nervous. Looking up at her father, he smiled down at her as he said "you look just like your mother when it was our wedding day." Hinata blinked… she hadn't expected him to say that but it made her smile either way. Just hearing that made Hinata a little happy but at the same time, it made her sad. "I'm sure that if your mother was around to see this day Hinata, I'm sure that she would be very proud of you."

Hearing that, Hinata tried hard not to cry or Naruto would end up leaving his place and rush toward her to start a fight. If there was one thing that the blonde haired man hated, it was seeing Hinata sad or in tears. Blinking back tears, Hinata just smiled up at her father as she said "I'm happy that you could be here father…"

Once they reached the end, Hinata blushed when she saw Naruto. He wore a black suit like everyone else, but an orange dress shirt underneath the suit's jacket and a dark orange tie. It was rather a weird combination but at the moment Hinata didn't care. She let Naruto pick what he wanted to wear so she wasn't going to complain in the least. When her father stood in front of Naruto, he gave him a bit of a cold stare. Hinata was scared that he would threaten him with a sword like when her cousin had went to be with his girlfriend and by accidental means got her pregnant because of celebrating chased Neji down with the sword to marry her.

"Take care of my daughter… or I'll hunt you down." Said her father before he patted Hinata's hand gently and went to take his seat. Hinata of course looked at Naruto and saw that he just kept on smiling. Maybe he didn't mind death threats much because he had lived for a long time or because he was a fully trained ninja. Either way, she didn't seem to mind it all that much but it still made her happy that her father didn't say that they couldn't be together.

Turning to stare at the priest, Hinata would turn her face to stare at Naruto every now and again. Though she just couldn't help it… he looked so handsome in his suit. Taking a deep breath, she listened as carefully as she could to the priest as he spoke about how they had all gathered to see the union of her and Naruto. And, that the lord had made it a lovely day for them as well. Either way, she was happy that she could be with the man that had captured her heart…

Naruto turned to Hinata for a moment and gave her a wide grin before he turned back to the priest. Of course, the priest had also mention that since Naruto didn't have any family to have come here, because he was orphaned, that he was sure that wherever his parents were that they were either thinking about him, or if they were with the lord that they were looking down on him smiling proudly. Naruto did seem sad on that note though he didn't remark on it.

Like anyone was going to believe (besides Sakura of course) that Naruto was a vampire and had been alive in the era of ninjas. Though that would be their little secret of course. Hinata just smiled at the thought of keeping that secret to herself and Naruto for now… maybe any child they have would be interested in that story for the beginning but would grow tired of it later on in their life.

For now though, she would just enjoy the time that she and Naruto would have until they would have a child. That is, if Naruto would even want children… Wait, had she already been thinking about children? Oh boy was her face red at the thought of realising that.

Maybe it was because she had always wanted children but never thought that she could because no one ever found her interesting enough to want to be with her for they would only see her as a pretty face or, see her for nothing but her curves. She had always hated how her body looked because of that but… Naruto, he saw the real her. The person that she really was deep inside just like she had saw him for who he was instead of only seeing him as a vampire.

"Do you, Naruto Uzumaki take Hinata Hyuuga to be your beloved wife, to love, to hold, to cherish until death do you part?" asked the priest.

"I do." Said Naruto with a big old grin on his face. Hinata sometimes wondered how his face didn't hurt from all that smiling but then thought that maybe he had grown used to that when he had been alive and didn't dare make a comment on it.

"Do you, Hinata Hyuuga, take Naruto Uzumaki to be your beloved husband, to love, to hold, to cherish until death do you part?" asked the priest when he turned to her.

"I do." Hinata said with a soft smile on her face. She didn't think that he had already got to that part of the ceremony but at the moment she didn't mind. She just wanted to be Naruto's wife and enjoy the rest of their lives together. In fact, it made her smile more knowing that she was close to being his wife.

"Then by the power vested in my by the power of the lord, I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." Said the priest. Naruto turned to Hinata and smiled at her gently. She looked up at Naruto for moment before blushing softly under her veil. The young man smiled a little before he gently gripped the veil in his hands and carefully lifted it to go over Hinata's head, revealing her face to him. Naruto blushed a little; it made the young woman wonder what he was thinking of though she just smiled at him.

Hinata smiled when Naruto placed his arm behind her back and cupped her cheek. Giving a gentle smile, Naruto leaned forward before pressing his lips against hers. Hinata smiled before she wrapped her arms around her new husband and just smiled gently. Life just couldn't get any better than this that was for sure. Though, the young woman just couldn't help but think that this was only the start of their new lives together. That there was still so much more that they would go through together, and that they would go through it together.

Hinata smiled before Naruto pulled back and looped his arm with hers and looked at everyone who all had smiles on their faces. "May I introduce Mr. and Mrs. Uzumaki." Said the priest as everyone soon started to clap their hands. Naruto just grinned all the more, and Hinata of course just laid her head against Naruto's arm as she sighed softly in content.

Even though her mother and Naruto's parents couldn't be here, she knew that they were watching from heaven. That was something that would make her happy though, so many things made her wonder what was to happen now that they were husband and wife? Maybe that would be one of the many mysteries of the world that would make their new lives all the more interesting now that she thought about it.

Soon, Naruto and Hinata started to walk down the aisle as everyone cheered for the happy couple. Hinata of course just smiled as she held onto Naruto, trying hard not to fall over and make a fool of herself at her own wedding. Looking up at the blonde haired man, she saw just how happy he was. His bright blue eyes shined with joy and happiness… At that time, it was easy to see that this meant a lot to Naruto, that this was something that he had always wanted but couldn't because he had been a vampire and had thought that as a vampire he didn't have a right to be happy like he was at this very moment.

Hinata though, she knew that even if he had been a vampire that she would have still married him, that she would still love him no matter what. That she would make sure that his life was always filled with life, joy, and love even if she had grown older than he did because of his lack of aging.

Taking a deep breath, the young woman kept on walking down the aisle with her husband just wanting to enjoy this time with him for as long as she could. Though, Hinata wondered what was going through Naruto's head at this very moment, that maybe he still felt guilt over what he did to his parents all those centuries ago… that no matter how much time passes he could never forgive himself but he had hoped that they still loved him no matter where they were.

Hm… maybe she should just try to make his life a great one. That was what a wife was to do, to make their husband just as happy as they make their wives feel. Smiling at Naruto, Hinata gently held his hand in hers as she got Naruto to look down at her. He just blinked his blue eyes at her, as if confused about something, or had been brought out of whatever had been on his thoughts. Though the frown that had been on his face for just moments soon started to fade away and turn into a true smile as he looked down at her.

Whatever he had been thinking about seemed to have been washed away just by her smile. Maybe later, or when she was ready to hear it… Naruto would tell her. One day anyway though for the time being they were going to just enjoy the party before they would leave to their honeymoon.

Looking over, Hinata saw her family, her friends and even her boss came. Of course Tsunade had been a little confused as to why Mia had suddenly quit and disappeared though she didn't complain since she had been planning to fire Mia for harassing the employees for a while. So that was something at least, and of course Tsunade had offered Hinata the position of a manager while she had gone off to work at the clinic since that was where she would go sometimes, when she wasn't at the casino gambling.

Smiling to herself, Hinata just smiled happily at all the happy faces and people wishing her and Naruto a happy life. Soon, they all went to the dance hall so they could get the party going. After all, what was a wedding without a nice little party right? It wouldn't really be much of one that was for sure.

Of course, the first dance would be the bride and groom dance. That was something that Naruto was a little nervous about even with all the dance lessons that he's been taking. Though Hinata didn't mind if he could dance or not, so long as they could be together.

Setting her flowers down, Hinata walked with Naruto to the center of the room and smiled up at him. Lifting her hands, she placed her arms around his neck as Naruto had his hands on her waist. They didn't really do much but dance around in circles since still, Naruto didn't dance all that much and his usual movements were quick and fluid because of his intense ninja training.

We were strangers starting out on our journey
Never dreaming what we'd have to go through
Now here we are and I'm suddenly standing
At the beginning with you

Naruto held Hinata close to him as they danced. Hinata blushed a bit at the song that had been chosen for the dance. Though, in a way it seemed to have suited them perfectly. Smiling at Naruto, she saw that he was just as happy as she was. "You know… I had always thought that it was me that saved you…" whispered Naruto.

No one told me I was going to find you
Unexpected what you did to my heart
When I lost hope you were there to remind me
This is the start

Soon, Naruto's one hand reached up and held her hand in his before stretching that out, twirling her out and held Hinata at arm's length before twirling her close to him once again. Dipping Hinata down low to the ground, Hinata blushed a little as she asked "what do you mean Naruto?" She tilted her head a bit before Naruto pulled her back up to his chest and just smiled at her once again.

And Life is a road and I want to keep going
Love is a river I want to keep flowing
Life is a road now and forever
A Wonderful journey

Twirling themselves in a circle, Naruto just smiled as he said "you saved me from myself Hinata. I was only living a life that wasn't really living at all. I had thought that I was meant to be alone, that I could never find true love. That no one would ever love a monster such as me." Hinata just stared at Naruto with tears starting to fill her eyes. He had really… he thought that she had saved him from that life?

I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

Dipping her once again, Naruto smiled gently at her as he said "I just didn't think about my life all that much until you came into it. I knew that I had to protect you. At first, it was because of the strange darkness that filled the town but then… I knew that I had to keep you safe because I cared about you… And slowly, I started to fall in love with you."

We were strangers on a crazy adventure
Never dreaming how our dreams would come true
Now here we stand unafraid of the future
At the beginning with you

Hinata blushed gently when Naruto pulled her back to his chest. It seemed that he didn't really know all that many dances moves for slow songs but she wasn't complaining, at least he hadn't stepped on her feet yet. All she could do was smile at Naruto before she laid her head on his chest. Listening to the soft sound of his heart beating… a sure sign that he was, indeed alive once more. Every time she listened to his heart, it was a reminder that Naruto had once been a vampire… and now he was a living, breathing human once again… it was a magical thing that was for sure.

And Life is a road and I want to keep going
Love is a river I want to keep flowing
Life is a road now and forever
A Wonderful journey

Taking a deep breath, Hinata looked up at Naruto with a tender smile as she said "I think… we saved each other. You protected me from Mia and Kuro… and I saved you from your life as a vampire and loneliness." She couldn't help but close her eyes. Just listening to the music as it seemed to lull her into a bit of a trance. Hinata didn't think that they could enjoy their lives any more than they were at this very moment.

I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

Lifting Hinata in his arms, Naruto twirled the two of them in the air as he chuckled. Hinata of course just went to a deep shade of red before she lied her head on his shoulder. It seemed that she didn't mind this show of affection, must have been something that they did when Naruto was a ninja or just something he wanted to do now. Looking up at Naruto, the young woman just smiled gently as she nuzzled his neck.

Knew there was somebody somewhere
Like me along in the dark
Now I know my dream will live on
I've been waiting for so long
Nothing's gonna tear us apart

Naruto smiled at Hinata before he set her back down on the ground and just grinned at her. The blue haired woman just smiled at her husband as she wrapped her arms around his neck once again. Life sure was amazing, that was for sure… It seemed that maybe fate had been cruel in the long run, but it was also fate that had brought them together and allowed them to live a happy life together forever.

And Life is a road and I want to keep going
Love is a river I want to keep flowing
Life is a road now and forever
A Wonderful journey

"Naruto, are you still sad about… what happened with your parents?" She tilted her head to the side, wondering what was wrong. Even though he did seem happy, she could see the hint of sadness that was within his blue depths. It had her wondering if maybe she had been ready to know this but at the same time she knew that she had to know if Naruto was really okay, if he was still feeling the guilt or if he was just trying to learn to live with his problems.

I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

Naruto stared at Hinata for a moment before giving her a gentle yet sad smile. "I just wished… that maybe my parents had lived their lives to the fullest. Maybe then I wouldn't have felt this kind of guilt and, in a way I had wished I had found you sooner… I bet… my parents would have liked you." He chuckled softly only to sigh before he held Hinata a little closer to his chest. In a way, it was as if he had to feel the comfort that she brought to him just by holding onto her. Maybe she really was his anchor to his sanity.

Life is a road and I want to keep going
Love is a river I want to keep going on

Hinata placed a hand on his cheek before she just smiled gently at him. Yes, his heart still had so much pain deep within but she knew, just knew that she was the very thing that could heal that wounded heart. Giving him a soft yet gentle smile Hinata wrapped her arms around his neck as she held herself a little closer to him hoping that would bring him a small sense of peace and calm… a sense of clarity and forgiveness… "I don't see you as a monster remember? You are just a man that had a tough life before finding me…" She whispered gently.

Staring out on a journey
Life is a road I wanna keep going
Love is a river I wanna keep flowing
In the end I wanna be standing at the beginning
With you

Naruto smiled at Hinata when she held onto him as much as he held onto her. Hinata knew at that very moment that he did feel a little better but knew, like all things… take time. The young man placed his hand on her cheek before he leaned forward and kissed her lips gently.

Hinata knew that life would be great now that she had married the man that she loved. Though she also knew that there would be many twists and turns for the two but after that battle with the vampires? Hinata was willing to take those twist and turns on full force, as was Naruto. So long as there was love in their lives, they really could take on anything that got in their way.

The End.
