com·pan·ion
1. A person or animal with whom one spends a lot of time or with whom one travels.
Ya know, Arthur has always been there. Since I was little, when I was growing up. Even when I thought I hated him he was still there, secretly worrying about me.
I always tell him how silly he is and how he doesn't need to worry, but he just tells me to shut up and that it's just because he cares.
I used to pretend that I didn't need him, but when I think about it, I really do need him. I need him more than anything. He's like a brother, he's my best friend and I really truly love him. Every part of him, his cute little front face, his super posh words and the eyebrows that he hates so much.
He's always here for me, even when he doesn't want to be. Even when we've fought and I've said something dumb and he's stormed off, or if I've just pissed him off generally. I guess that's because he loves me back, and he's stuck with me now.
