Like many other girls, Haruhi had thought of her dream wedding. She had imagined a humble wedding with perhaps fifty guests, a small reception, then bringing the party to a dining hall were the rest of the day would be spent. Her dress would be mermaid like, clinging to her body to accentuate her figure and she would wear her hair long. The colour scheme would be lavender. She'd have perhaps one or two bridesmaids. But now…

Dressed in one of Mori's large white button down shirts, black shorts and house sandals while her three children lay sleepily in their cradles on the three chairs in Mori's hospital room while he himself was dressed in a paper gown and could barely sit up, Haruhi couldn't imagine it any other way. This setting seemed to symbolize all their struggles and hardships and their overcoming of them.

The minister and the notary both seemed nonpluss, as if they had been asked to perform ceremonies in stranger locations.

"Ms. Fujioka, are you ready to begin?" The minister spoke up, breaking the petite brunette from her thoughts.

Haruhi blinked, looked around, smiled and nodded. She walked over to Mori's bedside and clasped hands with him. Tears began to form in her eyes as she looked on the small crows above. Honey was smiling brightly, perched onto Kyoya's shoulders. The twins were clinging to each other smiling despite the tears that rolled down their cheeks periodically. Her dad was the epitome of a proud father, tears glistened from the corners of his eyes and his smile although small, spoke volumes. Tamaki surprised her the most. His eyes shone with acceptance and happiness as he leaned on her father.

Although he was truly extremely happy, Mori couldn't help but want to fall asleep. His body was exhausted as it was still recuperating and the minister's voice was dreadfully boring. The only thing stopping him from falling unconscious was Haruhi's joyful brown eyes that he had the pleasure to be staring into.

"Would the couple like to read their vows?" Mori snapped out of his daze and nodded.

He held onto Haruhi's hands even tighter now, his voice was low, projecting an intimate tone to Haruhi through his words. "Doubt thou the stars are are fire; doubt that the sun doth move; doubt truth to be a liar…But never doubt I love."

Haruhi felt her knees grow weak and tears spring into her eyes. Shakily, she repeated her short vow too. "A castle without a king, a window without glass, the sky without blue...can not measure to how pointless and lost would be without you."

Maybe it was cheesy, maybe it wasn't but Mori felt touched. He couldn't help but feel his eyes grow moist too. For the first time in a long time, Takashi let a wide smile break out on his face.

"I'd like you both to sign these papers to submit to the county clerk's office." The notary finally spoke up, holding out the official documents and a pen. Quickly, both signed the document.

Takashi couldn't even remember the next words he spoke as he repeated after the minister, his eyes locked onto his almost-wife's pretty pink lips and how they moved as she repeated her lines. However, there was one phrase that cured his temporary deafness. The moment he was waiting for.

"Mr. Morinozuka, you may now kiss the bride."

Surprising everyone, Mori managed to summon enough strength to sit up completely straight and lean over, still towering slightly over Haruhi and kiss her sweetly and passionately.

Incredibly loud cheering followed.

Then babies crying.

But above all the other noises was the minister's loud declaration of, "I NOW PRESENT MR. AND MRS. TAKASHI MORINOZUKA!"

Looking into each other's eyes, despite the chaos around them, Both Morinozuka's knew, from now on, as long as they had each other, they would be okay.

Fin. Thanks for all the love and support for this story, especially those who stuck with me from the beginning to the completion of my very first fanfiction! I really hope you did enjoy it, despite taking over 3 years to complete... But! Now that it's done I will be revising and polishing it to make it a much better read.

Lots of love, EveryVil.
