Spencer drove in the car with Derek and Jennifer on the way to the hospital to pick up Cora. She wasn't trusting the whorish teacher at all and didn't want to risk anything happening to Derek while he was alone with her. Spencer sat in the back seat of Derek's car, glaring at the back of Jennifer's head as if she were trying to get it to burst into flames.

Jennifer kept glancing back and forth at Derek every other minute, looking as if she was making up her mind whether to speak. Finally, she did. "You know, I'm not doing this because I have to."

Spencer scoffed. "Sure, you're not."

Jennifer ignored Spencer, the redhead being a thorn in her side. "I want to."

Spencer glanced at Derek, wondering if he was falling for whatever charade she was trying to pull.

"I could still run, and you wouldn't have an easy time stopping me, even with your little sidekick," Jennifer explained. "But I don't want your sister to die. I'm only doing what I had to do."

Derek looked to Spencer through the rearview mirror. He saw the ferocity she held as she glared at Jennifer. "Shut up," he said, following Spencer's lead.

"You need to hear the whole story, Derek. You need to know just how connected we are."

Derek spoke, firmer this time and through his teeth to show how serious he was. "Stop. Talking."

Jennifer shook her head and rolled her eyes. She knew that he'd eventually listen to the things she had to say.

Spencer focused on the car that was speeding up behind them to catch up. Scott and Stiles were in the Jeep having their own conversation about Jennifer and Spencer took it upon herself to listen in on it.

"Something feels wrong about this, you know?" Stiles explained. "We probed it to Derek, but she still had this look like it didn't matter. You know, like it was all going to plan."

Spencer sighed. She had noticed the same thing. Jennifer was still confident in everything that she was doing, not faltering on a single thing. So far, anything the woman did always seemed to be part of the plan. Like she'd spent hours trying to piece every detail together, coming up with any option in case things went south.

When they all arrived at the hospital, they entered through the emergency room paying no mind to the doctors and nurses who were all hands on deck in getting patients out.

"Scott!" They heard a voice call and quick footsteps head towards them.

Both Spencer and Scott stopped to see Melissa chasing after them.

"Scott! What are you doing here?" Melissa asked, "The hospital's evacuating."

"We're here for Cora."

Spencer turned her head towards the others, seeing they'd stopped, too.

Melissa furrowed her brow, frowning. "What all of you?" She looked back at the others. "And why does Stiles have my bat?"

"It's his weapon," Spencer said with a lame smile. "Or at least his version of one."

"Mom, just trust me on this," Scott started, all seriousness in his voice, "You need to get out of here, right now."

Melissa stared at her son for a moment and turned to Spencer.

Spencer gave her a quick nod, backing up Scott begging her to leave the hospital.

"The building is supposed to be clear in thirty minutes." Melissa shared, giving them her insight into the hospital. "We've got two ambulances that are coming back. One's ten minutes out, the other's twenty. Cora needs to be on one of those. They'll be picking up the in basement garage."

Scott nodded. "Got it. Okay."

"Thanks," Spencer said to the woman before making her way back with the others. They'd all loaded up in the elevator to make their way upstairs to Cora's room. Spencer scooted around Jennifer and Derek who stood in the front of the elevator. She stood behind Jennifer, keeping an eye on Derek's tight hold on the fake teacher's arm.

Jennifer looked to Derek, "You don't have to keep me on a leash, Derek. I'm going to help."

Spencer scoffed. "You have said a lot of things in front of me and I have yet to believe one of them is true. He's not going to let you go."

Jennifer turned around to glare at the redhead who was slowly becoming a nuisance. That's when she noticed Scott's glare to Spencer's left and Stiles' to her right.

Stiles had the bat raised as if he were ready to hit the teacher.

Jennifer rolled her eyes and shook her head, turning her attention back forward. The elevator dinged and the doors opened, revealing the hallway. The lights flickered on and off a few times before staying on, if only for a moment.

Derek stopped at a room and everyone assumed it was where Cora was supposed to be, only she wasn't there. In her wake, was a pool of black blood on the floor with a few pieces of mistletoe in it.

"This was her room?" Spencer asked Derek, recognizing the blood pool as what Peter had described over the phone.

Derek nodded to her.

Spencer glanced around the room, "Well, Peter's not here either. Maybe they got out."

"Derek," Scott said, grabbing their attention. He pointed out the trail of blood heading down the hallway leading to some closed double doors. There was a noise of a struggle coming front the other side of the doors.

After a moment, the doors slammed open, and Peter was sliding on the floor towards them. He stopped right at their feet.

Spencer looked down at the man, confused. "What the hell are you doing?"

We've got a problem." Peter said, lifting his head and looking down the hallway. "Big problem."

Spencer glanced back up down the hallway and saw that the twins were morphed into their giant alpha wolf. "Shit."

The twins roared loudly, shaking the hallway. The three werewolves shifted quickly, ready to take Ethan and Aiden on. Derek charged at them first, fighting for as long as he could until he was thrown harshly to the ground. Scott ran forward net, getting the upper hand by jumping and pushing himself off of the wall.

Stiles grabbed Spencer's arm, pulling her to him. He pointed down the hallway at Cora who was laid unconscious just passed the three wolves fighting.

Spencer nodded to her friend. "Alright, let's go." She reached down, grabbing Peter under his shoulders to pull him up. "Help us," Spencer said, pushing him to his feet. The three of them rushed down the hallway, going for Cora. Spencer noticed as she passed the alpha and Scott that her friend was pinned to the wall by his neck. She hesitated with her friend in trouble.

"Etha, Aiden, stop!" Scott shouted against the hold of the alphas. "You don't know what you're doing!"

The merged twins growled. "All we want is her!"

Spencer glanced down the hall, back at where they left Jennifer. She growled noticing that the woman had backed away from the scuffle and found herself in the elevator, running from them. "Of course," Spencer grumbled to herself.

Stiles looked back at her. "What's wrong?"

Spencer turned quickly to her friend. "You're still here!" She responded, shouting at her friend and Peter. "Grab Cora and run!" Spencer ran back, going for Derek and Peter. The alpha had let Scott go. Spencer grabbed Derek by his arm, pulling him up and to his feet.

"Jennifer," Derek said with a groan.

"I know. We'll get her back." She looked behind her, finding her friend watching as the alpha charged after Jennifer. "Scott!" Spencer shouted, hoping he would run with them. She kept to Derek, following the direction she sent Peter and Stiles. They ended up in a surgery suite. She and Derek pushed open the doors as they entered.

"Don't stop!" Derek shouted, seeing Stiles and Peter, with Cora over his shoulder. "Don't stop!"

Stiles had stopped though. Just after Scott burst through the door he made his way back, hiding to the right of the entrance, waiting for the twins to emerge.

Spencer paused, her heart stopping. She watched as Stiles looked at his bat, holding it up, ready to swing. "Stiles!" she called, trying to get him to follow them.

The twins entered the room and Stiles hit them hard over their head with his bat. Stiles had tried to hurt the giant alpha, but it hadn't done anything but break the bat into splinters.

Spencer made her way back into the room, around the side by the exam tables. She grabbed Stiles' hand tightly and pulled him along and out of the room. They kept running stopping at another room.

Peter paused and laid Cora down on the exam table. Derek and Scott joined them shortly after they took a moment to breathe.

"What's the big guy?" Stiles asked.

"He's close," Derek said, closing them in the room, eyeing the hallway through the small square window.

"What about Miss Blake?" Stiles questioned, not getting a verbal answer from anyone. He looked to Scott and Spencer, both shaking their heads. "What do you mean? What does that mean? Like she's gone?"

"Stiles, we're gonna find her," Spencer promised.

"Scott, are you kidding me?" Stiles ignored his best friend's words.

Derek angrily turned around and shushed Stiles. "Quiet!"

Stiles raised his brows. "Me, be quiet?" He asked, fury dripping from his words. "Me? Huh? Are you telling me what to do now?"

Spencer took steps towards her friend, trying to calm him. "Stiles…"

"When your psychotic, mass-murdering girlfriend - the second one you've dated, by the way - has got my dad somewhere, tied up, waiting to be ritually sacrificed?"

Spencer put a hand around Stiles' forearm, trying to hold him back.

"Stiles, they're still out there…" Scott said, reminding his friend, trying to get him to keep quiet.

"And...and they want her, right? Which means now, we don't have her either, so my dad and Cora are both dead."

"Not yet."

"Look," Spencer said, spinning him to face her. "I'm upset, too, same as you, but we need to think this through. We need to come up with a plan. We're gonna get her back."

Stiles took a deep breath, calming himself. He took a step forward anxiously wrapping his best friend in a tight hug.

"Is she really dying?" Scott asked Peter.

"She's definitely not getting any better."

"There has to be something that we can do. We have to help her."

The door slammed open, making Spencer and Stiles let go of each other. They turned to see Jennifer had entered the room.

"You can't," Jennifer said. "Only I can."

Spencer took steps towards Jennifer, baring her teeth.

"I can save her, and I can tell you where Sheriff Stilinski is. But there is a pack of Alphas in this hospital who want me dead. So, I'll help you." Jennifer said, "But only when I'm out of here and safe. Only then."

Derek pushed the car in front of him, knocking it to the floor, startling Spencer. He charged Jennifer but was stopped by both Scott and Spencer.

"Derek, wait!" Scott said, giving him a shove so he'd stop his attempt.

"She was trying to get out!" Derek shouted, pointing to her.

Spencer placed a hand on his chest. "And she's here. Which means she can't leave and she knows we're her only way out."

Derek called under her touch.

"I was trying to keep from getting killed!" Jennifer insisted, "You can't blame me for that."

"If you want to show you're one of the good guys, then heal her," Stiles said, gesturing to Cora.

"Not until I'm safe."

"And if she's dead by then?" Spencer asked, raising a brow.

Blake didn't have words for the redhead. She only rolled her eyes.

"I'd like to volunteer a different message of persuasion." Peter suggested, "Let's torture her."

"I've wanted to do that since I laid eyes on her," Spencer said, flicking her claws out.

Derek shrugged. "Works for me." He once again tried to attack Jennifer, but Scott held him back still.

Spencer's ears perked up as the P.A. System cracked.

"Um, can I have your attention…"

Spencer's heart stopped and her eyes met Scott's.

"Mr. Deucalion…" Melissa laughed nervously. "Excuse me, just Deucalion...requests you bring the woman calling herself Jennifer Blake to the ER reception. Do this, and everyone else can leave. You have ten minutes."

Spencer glared at Jennifer. "This is your fault. I swear to shit if he - "

"He's not gonna hurt her," Jennifer said, easily.

"Shut up!" Derek shouted.

"He won't!" Jennifer insisted, looking to Scott. "Scott, you know why. Tell them it's true."

Derek looked to Scott, "What does she mean?"

"You're not the only one he wants in his pack," Jennifer said, practically glaring down Scott. "Deucalion doesn't just want an Alpha Pack, he wants perfection. That means adding the rarest of alphas to his ranks."

Peter gasped quietly, Spencer's head whipping back towards him. "A True Alpha."

"What's that?" Stiles asked.

"The kind of alpha that doesn't have to steal his power from another. One that can rise by the force of his own will." Peter looked at Scott, impressed. "Our little Scott."

Spencer looked to Scott, "So, Deucalion wants you and Derek, and the rest of us die? Yeah, I guess that seems fair." She said sarcastically.

Scott shook his head, seeming somewhat defeated. "It doesn't matter. We still need to get her out of here." He said, gesturing to Jennifer.

"Scott, your mom - "

"My mom said there's one more ambulance coming in twenty minutes. And I don't think we've been here that long, so if we can get down to the garage, get to the last ambulance, we can get out of here."

"And what about the twins?" Spencer asked. "They won't just let us leave."

"I'll distract them."

"You mean, fight them." Derek corrected.

Scott looked up at Derek and nodded. "Whatever I have to do."

"I'll help you."

Jennifer shook her head. "Um, sorry, but I'm not going anywhere without you, Derek?"

"Why Derek?" Spencer questioned, groaning.

"I'll do it," Peter said, passing over Spencer's question. "But I'd prefer to be out there with an advantage."

"An advantage?" Stiles asked. "Like what? You mean, like, a weapon?"

Peter showed Stiles a snide smile. "Something better than a baseball bat."

"So, anything in this room," Spencer said, referring to all of the surgery equipment around them. The group of them quickly started going through cabinets and drawers, looking for anything that would give them an advantage against the giant alpha.

"Hey, wait!" Stiles said, holding up the paddles for the defibrillator in the room. "What about these?"

"Do you know how to use those?" Derek asked.

"Well, no."

"Put them down."

Stiles slowly set the paddles back down on the cart.

"Epinephrine?" Scott said.

Spencer looked to him and he held a very large syringe in his hands.

"That's only gonna make him stronger," Derek informed.

Spencer shrugged, raising a brow. "It would make one of us stronger."

"Are you volunteering?" Peter's voice sounded from inside a closet as he searched for an option.

Spencer scoffed, taking the step towards Scott and taking the syringe from him. "Nope." She said, making her way over to Peter. "You are." Before Peter could protest, Spencer plunged the syringe into his chest and lowered the plunger.

"You bitch," Peter said, struggling against the sudden influx of adrenaline.

Spencer shrugged. "Have fun." She turned to Derek. "We have to go."

Derek nodded, impressed with what he'd just witnessed. He hurried over to his sister and picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder.

Spencer grabbed Stiles' hand and pulled him along. Making her way to the stairs to get downstairs to the garage. She made sure that Jennifer was following them and then kept the lead with Stiles. When they arrived at the basement, both Stiles and Spencer pushed the two doors open.

"It's still here." Stiles rushed over to the ambulance, opening the back doors and getting inside to help Derek pull Cora inside.

"Derek, over here," Jennifer said, a shakiness to her voice.

Derek looked to Spencer and she gave him a nod. He slowly made his way around the side of the ambulance.

"Julia…."

Spencer heard the sing-song tone of the female alpha and waved to Stiles, telling him to go further into the vehicle. She jumped in and closed the doors behind her, keeping them safe inside. Spencer heard the jingle of keys and the scrape of nails on the concrete. That was when she smelt the blood. "Shit," Spencer whispered to herself.

"What?"

Spencer shook her head, putting a finger to her lips to keep him from talking.

"It is you," Kali said.

"You can't beat her on your own," Jennifer said, presumably to Derek.

"That's why we're gonna run."

Kail growled at the two of them.

Spencer kept a keen ear, waiting until she heard Kali run after Derek and Jennifer. She checked the doors again, making sure they were closed and locked. Spencer let out her breath.

"Okay, okay. We're okay." Stiles said, hoping to convince himself.

Spencer shrugged. "We're okay."

"Good."

Spencer listened to the quiet for a moment before turning sharply to Cora. "Her heart stopped." She said, turning her body to Cora.

"What?"

"She's not breathing." Spencer leaned forward in her seat, checking Cora's throat before tilting her head back. Spencer put her mouth to Cora's and gave her a large breath. "Stiles, do chest compressions." She said, before giving Cora another breath.

Stiles hesitated, eyes firmly locked on what Spencer was doing.

"Stiles, now!" Spencer shouted, pulling him from his head. She gave Cora a few more breaths after Stiles did the compressions. After one more breath, Cora took in her own big gust of air. Both Spencer and Stiles leaned back in relief.

"You know," Stiles started, earning Spencer's attention, "Under different circumstances, that would have been very hot."

Spencer scoffed at him but laughed at the joke anyway. "Text Scott. Tell him we can't leave."

"What?" Stiles questioned with a furrowed brow. "Why?"

"Kali had the keys, and the driver is dead."

Stiles groaned, pulling out his phone to text Scott. "We just gotta hold on a little longer, right? I mean, if anyone's gonna get us out of this, it's Scott."

"You think?" Spencer questioned. "Isn't it your job to come up with the plans?"

"And the plan B." Stiles nodded, sounding unsure. "Now? I don't know. Maybe I'm thinking that she was right." He gestured to Cora.

"How?"

Stiles was struggling with what he was trying to say. He twisted his fingers in his lap. "Maybe we are pretty much useless. Maybe all we really do is find the bodies."

Spencer stared at him, wishing she could take away the pain he was feeling with his father being missing.

"I don't want to find my father's body."

Spencer shook her head, turning to Stiles and grabbing his hands. "We're not gonna find his body, Stiles. We're gonna find him. Alive and well."

Stiles stared back at her, wanting the hope that she had.

Spencer lifted a hand from his and wiped away the tear that had escaped. She kept her hand on his face for a moment, glancing down to his lips. Spencer shook her head. Bad timing. Her ears perked at the sound of growling coming from outside the ambulance. Spencer checked outside, seeing a giant shadow reflecting on the wall. She put her hand to Stiles' chest and slowly pushed them back to the side of the vehicle. Spencer closed her eyes and focused on her healing, hopefully working on masking her scent. She hadn't been told how to do that yet, but now was as good of a time as any to try.

Once the giant alpha's shadow disappeared she let out a breath, dropping her arm from Stiles' chest.

A few moments later, Spencer heart more footsteps. She smelled the air, trying to find the scent over the drying blood pooled outside. "Scott." Spencer recognized. She opened the door and saw Scott carrying Peter as he wasn't able to hold himself up. Spencer jumped out of the ambulance and Peter took her spot on the inside. "Where's Derek and Jennifer?" She asked immediately.

"I have to go back for them and my mom," Scott responded.

Stiles nodded, "Okay, two problems. Kali still has the keys to this thing and we just saw the twins like thirty seconds ago."

"Stay here," Scott ordered the two of them.

Spencer shook her head. "No way. You're not going out there alone."

"You need to stay with Stiles."

"Peter's here. They'll be fine." Spencer insisted. "We need to get Derek and you're going to need help."

Scott nodded after a moment and they hurried back into the hospital. They roamed the halls for a second before Spencer stopped. Scott does the same, wondering why she wasn't following him.

Spencer pointed to her ear. She could hear that they weren't alone. She opened her mouth to speak but before she could say something, she was picked up and then thrown back down to the ground hard. Spencer groaned at the pain.

Scott was able to fight the force off for a moment before he was pinned to the wall by his neck.

Spencer looked up and saw the giant alpha twin.

"Where is she?" the twins shouted. "We're trying not to hurt you."

"Try harder." Scott struggled.

"Hey!" Another voice shouted.

Spencer looked furthered own the hall seeing Melissa holding the paddles from a defibrillator like Stiles tried to do earlier.

"I'd like to try something," Melissa said, putting the paddles against the twins' back and tapping the buttons on them.

The twins released their hold on Scott and shook from the electric shock.

Scott landed next to Spencer on the floor, staring up at his mother in awe.

"Sweetheart, get up!" Melissa urged.

Scott nodded and got to his feet before leaning down to grab Spencer. "You okay?"

Spencer got up, leaning on him and holding her arm across her chest in pain. "Couple broken ribs, I think. I'll be okay. Let's go." The three of them hurried down the hallway, trying to find the way out so that Melissa could leave.

"What happened to Deucalion?" Spencer asked Melissa. "I thought he had you until we gave him Jennifer."

Melissa shook her head. "He just let me go. Said it was a 'gesture of goodwill'. No other reason."

"He had to have a reason. I don't think he does anything without a reason."

"Well, if that means I should continue to be profoundly terrified, then don't worry about it! I got that covered."

Scott stopped, putting a hand on his mom's arm to stop her.

Spencer heard the click of a gun's hammer being drawn back. She pulled herself from Scott's grasp and they both moved around the corner, slowly ahead of Melissa. They ran into Chris, Allison, and Isaac. She let out a sigh of relief at the sight of them. "Good, we're gonna need your help.
