Chapter Six: The Future Boss of Vongola
1:00 PM
"Why are you alone?" Tsuna interrogated a young Italian with dirty blond hair and blue eyes. To Tsuna, the teen was just playing around with a metal boomerang. To the teen, however, was important training with his 'Metal Edge'. When the teen heard the brunet's voice, he stopped, looking at that direction.
"Who art thee?" Tsuna frowned, shaking his head as if the teen said something wrong. 'What did CEDEF-san teach him?' Changing his accent to Italian, Tsuna replied.
"Il mio nome รจ Sawada Tsunayoshi." Tsuna giggled a little at the startled teen, shock on what he said.
"Si parla italiano?" The teen's eyebrow furrowed, looking at Tsuna straight to the eye.
"In parte-" Tsuna reverts back to his native language, looking at the door Tsuna whispers. "They're coming."
"?" The teenager looked around, surprised to see his friend jump up the nearby air vent and disappeared. After a few seconds, two acrobalenos barged in the room; Colonnello and Lal Mirch.
"Colonnello-dono! Lal-dono!" The teenager bowed, watching as his superiors check the perimeter of the room. "Who art thee looking for?"
"Have you seen a kid with spiky brown hair and huge brown eyes kora?" Colonnello asked hurriedly, scanning the room like a computer. "We have to talk about some stuff and yeah..."
"He went up the air vent." Lal declared as she saw the air vent's lid out of it's place. Looking inside, she pulls out a device which lit the whole narrow passage with neon green light. "What kind of brat is he? He's not in the vents anymore!"
"Well screw this kora!" The blonde cursed. Heading out with the blue head, they once again continue their expedition for the lost child, leaving the blonde teenager alone.

"Chrome, is that all you can get from the database on Basil?" Tsuna asked, pressing his ears on a metal gadget. Hiding inside a cabinet, the brunet tries gaining valuable information needed to recruit his new acquaintance. "I sense a calm aura in him, essential for all rain guardians."
"I'm trying but..." Chrome lowered her volume. "It's very hard hacking in a computer without making Mukuro-sama suspicious!"
'Tch! What to do...' Tsuna pondered, closing his eyes to feel any incoming intruder. "He's part of the CEDEF right?"
"Yes...! Tsuna-kun. I have an idea." Chrome urgently said, Tsuna silently listened. "Head back to the Acrobaleno."
"You out of your mind? They're probably going to talk about my education, entering a foreign school and all." Tsuna shivers in terror. "And you know how horrible I am in communicating with other people in the same age as I am..."
"You have to." Chrome sighs. "There's a sixty percent chance they'll group you with Basil as your bodyguard. Act innocent and treat him like an older brother you never had. Easy as pie."
"But I don't want to meet them..." Tsuna bumps his head on the opposite wall. "Lal Mirch and Colonnello are very persistent in getting me all man up."
"If only they knew." Chrome giggles, Tsuna continues to bang his head. "Oh well. Better get going boss. Friendship isn't gonna pop out from a corner."
"Haha. Very funny." Tsuna said in a sarcastic tone. "Make sure Mukuro doesn't find out about the secret training ground or papa won't be happy."
"Affirmative." Closing the phone, Tsuna smiled schemingly. Making sure he leaves the phone at the cabin floor as evidence, he prepares to leave towards the outside world. 'Let's see how long Nono's son go crazy...Hahaha~'
-COMBUS Grounds-
"Ack! Oww! QUIT IT!" Enrico screamed, trying to avoid all yellow pellets being aimed at him by several mechanisms his tutor set up. "This attire wasn't meant for these sort of games you know?"
"You're worse than I expected..." Reborn muttered, eyeing his green pellet gun with unsatisfaction. "Even a teenager could do better than that."
"Coming from the number one ace hitman, sure." Enrico rolled his eyes. While getting out of the miniature war zone, Enrico tries to look at his now-torn sleeves due to the lack of decent light-ing in the room. The Vongola heir swears to whoever-is-up-there on why he has such a terrible fate encountering the number one hitman as his teacher. 'Not sure whether this would be the beginning of a bright future or a painful torture regime.'
"It's both." Reborn smirked evilly as his student freak out on what he said. "To be a great boss, one should be able to hide his weaknesses from his enemies before they could exploit it-"
"PAPA REBORNN!" A shrill happy tune called out to the assassin. Reborn instinctly moved one step to the left to see a young brunet face down on the floor due to his slight miscalculation. "What is it?"
"I missed you~!" Tsuna wailed, caramel orbs staring at obsidian. "Why can't Noni assign you to me instead? Now I'm between two adults who can't express their true feelings properly!"
"Actually, you can have him if you wan-" Enrico started but was halted with a whack on the head by a ten ton mallet. "Ouch!"
"Heading out for some espresso. Take care of the brat while I'm gone." Reborn commented, walking away as if hitting a person with a mallet weighing ten tons was natural. Once the hitman closed the door leaving some alone time for the two, Enrico tried to have a reasonable conversation with his 'soon-to-be adviser.'
2:58 PM
"Hey kid. Why do you want to be my adviser?" Tsuna slowly turned to his direction, the cheery aura long gone. It was quite...unnerving. "I know the title sounds cool and all but you have absolutely no idea what you're heading into. Do you even know what the Mafia does-?!"
"I know." Tsuna answered as he appeared at the back of the frightened adult, whispering his reply behind the man's right ear. "To tell you honestly, no one has ever known the true Tsunayoshi. No one alive that is." Tsuna giggled with a hint of insanity while at the same moment the lights start to malfunction. "That's why I have to watch you grow to your fullest potential. For the sake of my families and friends because you see? Your position holds the key to saving not only the underground world but all the way to the weak and discriminated. However, when there is power, there is qualifications. If you are unable to obtain what my fathers wish you to have, then you will never obtain the true power to change the world. You still have a lot to go if you wish to inherit that power because the living seems to be forgetting one vital part of this story which could turn reality upside down."
Enrico didn't expect the Tsuna to disappear and reappear like that, nor did he expect that kind of answer coming from a child as innocent looking as him. Today, Enrico found a thing that terrifies him more than Reborn himself, it was the person behind him: Tsuna.
"Are you scared Enrico?"
Looking at the corner of his eye, Enrico noticed how massive the orange flames were on the brunet's forehead, radiating with intensity stronger than his adopted brother many years ago. Enrico could have moved away from the spot and run to the nearest fire arm to protect himself with but he got petrified because of those eyes. It held pure sky flames that supposedly, calm down anyone or anything. How this was used here however was a different story: The flames looked as if it'll melt your whole being if you dare to even move an inch.
"Your knees are shaking Enrico... I thought you were brave." Tsuna questioned. Noticing the adult's buffering time to answer, Tsuna chose to walk slowly towards the deadly war zone, causing the demonic contraptions to start up.
"Oh well, think things over for a while as I have fun." Tsuna said, playfully igniting his hands with orange flames. "Increase the level every two point seven seconds please." (Tsuna stated clearly to the computer.)
"Training... Start!" As the mechanical voice said the last word, random projectiles began popping out from all devices surrounding Tsuna, intending to give a very painful feeling to the unfortunate sinner at the center.
"For a starting level, that's quite fast for average people to catch up don't you agree?" Tsuna commented. Moving from one side to the other, the son of CEDEF calculated the speed of every object coming to his path before executing his move.
"Entering Advance level in one second!"
Enrico couldn't believe his eyes. Tsuna was dodging every single one of them (the range starts from ordinary pellets all the way to the advance level; real-life bullets) while at the same time dancing with his hands consumed entirely by soft orange flames. Enrico knew this would be like an once-in-a-lifetime sight but why was his gut telling him that the child was mocking him on the things he couldn't achieve yet (like lasting in that area for ten seconds.) After at least ten minutes, the gadgets seem to have broken down due to the intense pressure exerted in a small amount of time.
Seeing the smoke exhaled by the training material, Tsuna raises his arm to the direction of the main computer which automatically shuts off by it's own with nothing and no one touching it. "I can't let anything get destroyed on my first day. That'll be bothersome."
"You..." Enrico stuttered, moving closer to the door as well as have eye-to-eye contact with the child. "You're not normal. We need to send you to a psychiatrist."
"Hehe. That's the funny part actually." Tsuna tilted his head to the left, his shadow shown completely taller than him when the lights went back to healthy-normal. "My caretakers tried that as well as my classmates and teachers but... No one ever believed them."
-Hallway-
"Reborn! You sure the kid's here kora?" Colonnello questioned his buddy as the maids around them whisper cheerfully. Some of the females, however, moved away since there was someone who emitted an aura that stated clearly to back off and get out of their way.
"Hn." Reborn answered dully, one hand holding a cup of coffee while the other his trusty green gun. The hit man didn't need to look far for the duo especially when this is their first time getting a baby sitting job from the Ninth. What Reborn didn't expect to see was his student running towards them, and the thing that interested him the most was the fear in the man's eyes. "What is it Enrico? Did the brat break anything of importance?"
"Reborn! I just wanted to...To tell you something." Enrico forced a smile but in his mind, he was totally freaking out about his latest discovery with his young cousin. 'How the fuck am I going to explain all this without looking like the crazy guy here?'
"Well? Speak up. We don't have all day." Lal Mirch coughed, noticing how messed up the man's attire turn up when face-to-face with Reborn's Training.
"Umm...It's about Tsuna..." Enrico started, still unsure if any one would believe him. "I think he should-"
"You think I should what?" A childish voice piped up. Looking down, Enrico was horrified when he saw the eight-year old child holding his left leg with the huge caramel doe-like eyes on. "I wanted to experience one of those brother talks I see in the TV with Enrico-nii but he ran away halfway our discussion."
"That wasn't nice kora." Colonello commented. Picking the child up in the air, he made Enrico face Tsuna's adorable face. "Now apologize before he cries kora."
"But..." Enrico didn't know whether he should: One, run away from the group and hide until the little vermin take his medicine. Two, apologize and hope the child wouldn't shoot flames at him. Three, similar to choice two but tell his caretakers about his problem. Four, stand like the man he is and tell them what truly happened in the room though in the end, he would still be ridiculed at. Either way, Enrico didn't like what he's facing right now. 'What the hell should I apologize about?'
"Wah!" All four adults looked at the direction of the cry. Tsuna knew the heir has a long way to go to gain the guts to say things in front of him so, he chose to cut the conversation short.
"Enrico-nii." Reaching for Enrico's right cheek, Tsuna pinched it. "You look funny~! Can we go now, Col-nii?"
"Uh.." Colonnello shrugged his shoulders at his partner and answered back to the child, "Sure kora!"
Dropped down by the blonde, Tsuna waves back at Reborn and before walking away, stared back at Enrico's confused face. "See you later~!"
As the three continue to walk towards the CEDEF training ground, Tsuna ran ahead with his mind filled with many thoughts. But within these thoughts, there was one prominent idea that the boy hopes will change in the near future.
'I think I expected too much from you, Enrico.'
