"So, you've finally make your move…"

"Takari…-nee?" confusion is eating her friends. They didn't know who she talking among them or it is among them?

"Since when?"

Koichi eyes widen in realization,

"Just recently,"

"No way—right?" Kokoro in disbelief state.

"You're indeed amazing, Takari-san."

Junpei mouth wide open.

"So, did you enjoy yourself, Alice?"

"I am." With mirth lace on her voice, Alice is now standing next to her digimon partner Cheshiremon.

Chapter 17

Faith Part 2: Union

"What the—who's that Digimon Alice?!" Junpei was totally shock, but not just him but everyone except to the two digimons and Takari who titled her head to the side with smirk on her face.

"For you to learn it is really makes you so brilliant, Takari-san."

"I actually didn't believe it at first but I've been curious on how you possibly survived your first days here without digimon partner. But then it just become clears to me when Mirror drops all the information that I wanted so badly." The brunette chosen child shrugged her shoulder as her eyes closes, "I'd never take you to that path." She finishes as she tare back at the traitor of their group.

Alice smirks, "I see, so basically you are actually not that amazing."

"Who says I am?" Takari answers, carefree.

"Wa-wait a sec! What's going on here?!" Kokoro asked; urge to receive the answer as quickly as possible, even though it is obvious already.

"As you can see, that girl, you guys called Alice, is actually the General known as Lady Moon." Patamon answers instead of Takari who never want to answer such a painful truth.

"No that's impossible!" Kokoro burst, "I mean she's my—"

"Koko!" Tsubasa cut her; she gazes to him only to see him shake his head with painful expression on his face, telling her to stop already.

"Well, listen here my dear Kokoro-chan~" the said kid with tears on her eyes turns to the traitor. "As you guys heard, I'm Alice, one of the generals of Chadramon-sama and me with my partner Cheshiremon, we are known as Lady Moon." She heaved a sigh of defeated while hand is petting her bangs "Simply put, I am a spy."

"For what?" Renamon spokes for everyone.

"For what, you ask? Hmm~ you see there's a drastic change in this group of legendary warriors." She started, "Instead of six children, they end up becoming seven, then adding you two become nine then now with two digimons!" she's says merrily "Wow look at that!" she claps, sarcastically.

"So Chadramon sent you to get intel from the three of us."

"Smart as always Takari-san!" she merrily give her a sarcastic applaud.

"Cut it, you'll get on my nerve soon."

"Oops! It is really shocking news? Ah!" she shift gaze to Koichi "It is! Really?! It is really shocking that a human would become spy? I mean—you experienced guys didn't take a clue? Oh my—oh my goodness! Koichi? Aren't you an enemy before, you should've known!" that hits a mark.

"Tch, Koichi never inte—"

"Hai, hai, he didn't intended to kill you guys off, right, right, nnnice~" she says her last word while rolling her tongue.

"You—" Koji wanted to curse, wanted to beat her but Takari stop him by blocking her arm to him and Koichi who hold his right arms tightly as if his life depends on it.

The truth has laid to their front, the painful truth. There's no question needed anymore.

"By the way~ it is alright for you guys to just stand there and resist the truth?" Everyone's eyes on her, "The stupid Goggle-head might die there."

"What's with the concern?" Takari opposed her.

"Not concern actually, it just that… it will be interesting to fight you all at once in the human world, that you loved so much."

"You were talking as if that world isn't yours too."

"It is? The last time that I check everyone is shoving me away." She replies before giving a playful smile, "Anyways good luck on saving him; that is… if you can~"

Alice and Cheshiremon then disappear.

"Wait up release Takuya—HEY!" Izumi scream at the now empty space.

Takari heaved a sigh of tiredness, 'That's too much.' She felt regrets on revealing the truth but… this attack from her is the signal that she will start her move against them. Takari doesn't have any choice.

"Come here," Everyone gaze on Takari that already walking towards their leader.

"Right," Koichi agrees, following her footsteps. "We must save Takuya before we go on with that." Everyone agrees silently as they come with them.

Everyone sympathy Koichi who become really close to Alice; Koji put his hand on his twin's shoulder telling him his presence. Koichi smiles in return to his brother's kindness.

"I'm sorry, Koichi…" Takari whispered, "I'm sure she has reason to do this."

"I know, and don't worry about me Takari, I know it is hard on you too."

Both look at the huge thing, reminding themselves that they must fight their friend to earn her back.

Koji suddenly grabbed the two on their shoulder and place himself on the middle, "Then it's decided! Let's go now, and Takuya might have some stupid dream over there."

"Right." The two agreed.

"Now listen here, this is the method we needed to destroy that thing." Patamon, who landed on top of Takari's head, gets everyone attention.

On Takuya's side, the said brunet is running away from the Kaiserleomon that chasing him with anger roars; Takuya tries to evolve but for some reason his D-scanner weren't working.

Going back to the time before this event occur:

"How dare you to interrupt our precious game?" the familiar voice of his friend sound piercing, menacing and mad directed to him.

Takuya turn his head towards the owner of familiar voice and he sighed in defeated after confirming his idea. His friend Koichi is seating on a floating throne, wearing clothes that fits to a King with red heart design all over.

"And you are…?" Takuya asked, while his hand on the back of his head.

"He is the King of Darkness!" the sweet familiar voice of his lover's counter-self answers from behind him.

Seating to a floating chair made with eggs is Izumi wearing purple gown, with sweet smile.

Takuya asked the same thing after turning to her.

"I'm Humpty Dumpty. I am the King's regular playmate." She replied.

With gust of wind Koji suddenly appeared next to the brunet who is standing in the middle of the giant chess board.

"You almost late White Wolf." The King stated.

"I apologise My King! But I'm here now, and we can continue your game Sire 'til the end. And then we could give a way for the darkness." Koji or known as White Wolf stated with respect on his tone.

"But before that…" The king has engulfed by data strings.

As the brunet watching the king being covered by data strings a whistle caught his ears; next to him and White Wolf is Cheshire cat or better to say Takari with grin.

"You better run~ unless you want to die!" she suggest to Takuya before slowly disappearing leaving her mouth to be the last "Oh, and by the way have faith on your friends; this world is cannot be control by its caster, so I'm sure you will be save by the people on the other side." and completely vanish into thin air.

Takuya who is wondering what will happen next to him found the answer to his question when the data strings disappears and Kaiserleomon is on the king's place looking at Takuya with menacing eyes. He gulped, doesn't like the next events that will occur soon.

"I'll use this intruder as a sacrifice for the success of darkness." The king in animal form claim as he jump down in front of Takuya and the White Wolf.

With reflex Takuya tug Koji in arms to start on running but suddenly White Wolf lifted from the ground and flew towards of Humpty Dumpty, leaving Takuya being chase by the crazy animal king.

"First is Kyuubimon, it attack me out of the blue; then Alice gave me a tea that made me shrunk, while Tsu and Koko just laughed at me; then Junpei and Tomoki didn't gave me a time to talk and just left me behind; then now I'm being chased by hungry and angry Koichi, what I done to deserve your wrath! And then Izumi saved just Koji; lastly Takari keep giving me late warnings and didn't even help me while keep saying 'faith'!" Takuya who is nonstop in running tries to recap all the bad moments of his life since he fell on that huge rabbit hole.

Then he realised something about the behaviour of his friends.

"Right!" He slides his feet to the floor and turn to the wild king with a determination painted on his face. "My friends—" the images from their past adventure to present came into him.

The hard times, joys, pains, everything. Their smiling faces flashed on his mind.

"I have faith on them! Strongly, deeply—"

While on the outside everyone is in their beast forms, except to Tsu who is in Holyangemon and Koko in Sakuyamon, while Patamon has made his distance away from them.

"Ready?" Mermaimon asked,

"Ready!" Shutumon, MetalKabuterimon and Korikakumon answered, while the rest nodded waiting for the signal.

"Okay then, here we GO!"

"—and no one can break that!" flashed of light burst on Takuya as a small white plate appeared and it enter on the brunet's D-scanner.

"Takuya! Takuya!" The goggle-head heard someone calling his name as he felt some warm liquid dripping on him. When he opens his eyes he saw his girlfriend crying on him.

"Izu…" everyone has their gaze on him. "—mi?"

"Takuya? Takuya!" Izumi without second thought embraced the brunet tightly because of overwhelming happiness; while the others have smiles on their faces.

"I have faith that you guys would save me from that strange world. Thank you!" Takuya stated.

"What are you talking about Takuya-niichan!"

"You're our goggle-head; of course we will save you!" Junpei stated.

"Which we also sure you'll do the same to us." Koji added.

"Of course!"

Meanwhile Takari and Junpei clearly sees Izumi's finger with ring that put sadness to Junpei but at the same time he is happy for them. He looks at to Takari that have Patamon on her head; her eyes met his and she shrugged her shoulder with smile. Junpei smile and nodded as like a sign to her.

On the dark creepy castle of the enemy, Alice and Cheshiremon bow down to Chadramon as they giving their report on him, while the remaining Generals plus one shadowy figure were there too and listening.

"To think that she discovered you, she's indeed smart." Chadramon said.

"Yes she is, Lord. I'm really sorry for not getting some valuable information about them."

"Don't worry~ that's just makes this game more exciting."

"This is only the start of this game, Lady Moon." The voice is coming from the shadowy figure.

Hearing this all them, except to Alice and her partner, laughs with menace laces on them.

'Please… save me!"
