A/N: This is my first time writing for this fandom and, despite the shortness of the story, I hope everyone enjoys and maybe even reviews.

With a rather sleepy yawn she said goodnight, kissed him on the cheek, then left him in his recliner with some TV show that he wasn't even paying attention to. Why wasn't he paying attention to it? He loved watching TV, but instead of thoughts of the show in his head, thoughts of Rachel were there.

A week ago Joey would have thought it was weird, thinking about her - actually it still was weird, but he was somewhat used to it now. I just was part of his daily routine now.

And as he sat there, the TV acting as background noise, he couldn't help but think how unfair life was. The only time he's ever liked someone so much, and he could never tell her.

He sighed and pushed the feelings away. He was Joey Tribbiani, he didn't do feelings.

But maybe she was the exception.
