An un-told story from Narnia
The Mist
Chapter One
Deepest Desires
"We will fight it and we will stand together against the Mist!" Cried out Prince Caspian, who was giving his speech atop the sky deck.
Christine sighed. She could care less about the speech that Caspian was giving to the crew. She already knew what eminent danger plagued them at this pressing time. She also didn't want to hear anything Caspian had to say, due to the fact that he too was a victim of the Mist. For it was clear that one of his deepest and darkest desires, was to have Christine all to himself. To take control of her and have his wicked way.
It seemed the same way with a few of the other young men in the crew. Christine had been dodging the men on the ship ever since they had sailed into the Mist. Since she was one of three females on ship - and the first two was a little girl and the other a queen - she guessed that the crew saw it fit to choose her.
"We MUST resist any temptation of the Mist! It will lie to you and seek out your deepest secrets. It will make you act like a fool at many times!" Caspian said. His words were followed by nods, grunts, and laughter. Christine gritted her teeth. Caspian was simply regurgitating the words that the wise magician had said back at his mansion.
"It can take any form. It can make your darkest dreams come true. It seeks to corrupt all goodness...to steal the light from this world." The magician had paced up and down his enchanted map of the sea. His hands behind his back and his eyes moving from person to person in the room.
"How do we stop it?" Lucy piped up. The magician turned to face her, a solum, yet urgent look on his face.
"You must break it's spell." He turned, pointing to the sword that hung from Edmund's hip. "That sword you carry,..there are six others."
"You've seen them?" Edmund asked quickly.
"Yes" The magician turned as Caspian spoke.
"Six Lords...did they pass through here?"
"Indeed" The magician nodded.
"Where were they headed?"
"Where I sent them." The magician walked over the map as the images of the sea and the island sped away to be replaced with another island. "To break the spell...you must follow the blue star, around Ramandu's island. There, the seven swords must be laid on Aslan's table. Only then, can their true magical power be released." He stopped for a moment, slowly turning on the spot to glare at everyone. "But beware...you are all about to be tested."
"Tested?" Lucy asked, a curious look on her face.
"Until you lay down the seventh sword...evil has the upper hand. It will do everything in it's power, to tempt you." At this, the magician turned to face Christine. "Be strong...don't fall for temptation." He then turned to Edmund. "To defeat the darkness out there...you must first defeat the darkness within yourself."
Christine was gripping the hilt of the sword so tightly, that the whites of her knuckles shone brightly in the faint, glow of the distant, full moon and ocean. The magician had known something. His eyes had locked with Christine as he said those terrifying words. "Be strong...don't fall for temptation." Yes...he had indeed known that there was something dark within Christine. She hadn't known what it could be...but judging how the past few days had gone, she guessed what it was.
Christine was shaken from her thoughts as she happened to look down to her left and saw that Edmund's fingers too were wrapped tightly around the hilt of his sword. Her eyes traveled up. His pale face seemed to glow in the dim light and his jaw was clenched tight. Christine continued to stare out of the corner of her eye, but quickly looked away when Edmund glanced over at her. She raised her head to the sudden change in Caspian's voice.
"Now! You all will have to share a cabin. We will split up into pairs, then head to each other's rooms and get some well needed sleep!" Everyone nodded and begun to look around for a partner. Christine was standing there waiting to be paired with a fellow crew member, when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned her head to the side and saw Edmund staring down at her.
"Well?" His voice sounded horse, as if he hadn't used it since their arrival into the Mist. Christine flinched at the thought. That was the day that Edmund had tried to corner her while they were scavenging for food. He had been under the influence of the Mist, but that didn't make up for what he had tried to do. Christine remembered it all too well.
Christine had been paired up with Eustace to pick berries on the side of a hill, quite a long ways from the ship. Eustace had been getting on Christine's nerves so much, that it was taking every ounce of self control to not push him over the edge of the hill.
"For the last time Eustace! Either you help me pick these berries, or I'm going to leave you behind to find your own way back to the ship! And that's not the worst thing I'm thinking of."
"Well at least I wouldn't have to be miserable up here with you!"
"You think you're miserable? Ha!" Christine threw her hands up into the air as she advanced on Eustace. "I wish I had never come to your fucking house in the first place! It's your fault that I'm here! If it weren't for your stupid foolishness, I never would have stepped foot in your house!"
"It's not my fault that you were selling those paintings! My mother just has dreadful taste in art!"
"I painted those, you little worm!" Christine snarled, raising her fist as Eustace stumbled away from her, his eyes widening.
"You-you wouldn't! I-I'll contact British Council and make sure that y-you're arrested!" Christine stopped dead in her tracks. She glared at Eustace for a moment, then couldn't help but laugh at his stupidity.
"You do realize that you're in Narnia, right? There is no British Council here, you dumbshit!" Eustace opened his mouth to argue, when someone yelled behind them.
"Oi! Shouldn't you be off looking for a shady spot to sleep, Eustace?" Edmund was hiking his way up the hill toward Christine and Eustace.
"R-right you are, Ed! I'll just be going..." He raised his hands to Christine in mock-defeat, then turned and ran over the other side of the hill, tripping on the way over the pile of berries that Christine had collected.
"Ooh!" Christine growled. "I swear, if I ever get the chance, I'm going to kill him." Edmund chuckled behind her.
"I'll help you, if you like?" Christine turned to face Edmund, then staggered back hurriedly, seeing as to how close he was to her.
"What's wrong?" He asked, taking a step towards her.
"N-nothing! It's just...you startled me."
"Oh?" Edmund took a step close to her, his hands drawn behind his back and his eyes following her every move.
"Yes- I mean, no!" Christine was glancing being her and back at Edmund as he seemed to herd her like a animal into the rocks behind her.
"No?" His eyes flashed with amusement.
"Edmund, what are you doing?" Christine's heart skipped a beat as she felt her back hit the smooth rocks.
"Why do you ask?" He was taunting her now. His eyes boring into hers and his lips quirking up into a small smirk.
"B-because you don't normally act like this..."
"And, how do I normally act?"
"Not like this!" Christine snapped, her chest rising up and down quickly as she began to panic.
"How do you know? We've only just met." Edmund laughed, leaning his hand against the rock beside Christine's head.
"I know that!"
"So you dislike me?" Edmund glared at her, that playful smirk still etched across his face.
"I uh...it's not that I don't dislike you, Ed...it's just-"
"Just what?" Edmund asked, leaning his face closer to hers and stroking a red curl behind her ear. "Do you like me...or don't you?"
"I like you...it's just I don't think that we like each other the same way...and I don't think that you really want to do this either."
"What makes you say that?" Edmund asked curiously.
"Its the Mist! Its messing with everyone's mind!"
"Not mine..." Edmund's hand slid down her arm, stopping to entwine his fingers into hers. "and I don't think that you're telling me the truth." His eyes twinkled as Christine bit her lip. "If you didn't like me, then why are you trembling all over? Why do you always look at me when you think I can't see you? Tell me, Christine...for I am just aching to know." Edmund put extra emphasis on those last words, making them come out in a hiss. Christine released her lip and gasped as Edmund pushed his body against hers.
"Well..." Christine breathed in deeply, trying to maintain her composer. "I suppose, it's because I-"
"CHRISTINE! EDMUND! EUSTACE! WHERE ARE YOU?" The sound of Lucy's calls were making their way up the hill to Edmund and Christine.
"Hmm..." Edmund growled. "what lovely timing."
"Well, we should get going!" Christine slipped out from in between Edmund and the rock, brushing her pants off and blushing slightly. "Don't want to keep the crew waiting!" She ran over to the partially stepped on berries, scooped them up into her shirt, and ran passed Edmund over the hill to where Lucy was searching for them.
"Christine!" Edmund suddenly snapped.
"What?" Christine asked, shaking her head to rid her mind of the memory.
"Shall we head to our bunks?" He asked, his eyebrow quirked and a hint of mischief in his eyes. Christine hesitated, her eyes meeting with his.
"I-well... I was hoping to be paired with-" Edmund leaned forward, making Christine hold her breath as he grabbed her shoulder.
"If you don't go with me, you'll be paired with Caspian." Edmund muttered quickly into her ear. His lips slightly brushing over her cheek, causing her to blush. But when Christine looked back over to Caspian, she saw him heading her way with a hopeful expression on his face.
"Ooh, no. Yeah, lets get the fuck out of here!" Christine said hurriedly. She grabbed Edmund's hand and practically ran past Caspian, who opened his mouth is surprise as her shoulder hit his, then through the solid oak door and into the darkened hallway.
"Okay." Christine continued. "I think we're-I mean, I'm safe." She inhaled a deep breath and let it out in a small laugh. Edmund said nothing. Christine looked around at him and saw that he was staring down at her. She tried to slow her heart beat, but she knew Edmund could feel her pulse quickening as she looked up into his dark, brown eyes. Christine gasped slightly, because for a split moment, she could have sworn that she'd seen a hint of green floating through Edmund's eyes.
"Are you okay?" He asked, pulling her toward him.
"No!" Christine said quickly, dropping his hand. Edmund raised his eyebrows, he seems offended that she had basically pushed him away.
"You're not okay?" His voice not concerned, if anything it was amused.
"I-I meant...yes! I'm fine it's just-" She broke off as Edmund drew closer, his dark eyes glaring down at her in cold humor. Christine could feel his warm breath against her - now- red face. "Edmund, this isn't really you! It's-it's the Mist! I-we can't! Please, we have to get to our bunks!" She lost her train of thought as Edmund slowly began to back her up against the wall, his lips forming into a wicked grin. Stuttering foolishly, Christine began to edge her way toward her cabin door, trying to get there before Edmund, so maybe she could shut him out. However, Edmund followed her the whole way there.
When she finally found the door, she reached behind her for the handle, but Edmund was too quick for her. Grabbing the handle with his right hand, he raised his left to the center of Christine's chest, his long fingers spreading across it. Her eyes widened and she opened her mouth to protest, but he suddenly turned the handle to the door, and pushed her in.
Christine fell upon her bed as Edmund closed and locked the door behind him.
"Edmund!" Christine tried to say, but she just couldn't choke it out.
Edmund removed his chest armor as he walked over to where Christine was getting up from the bed. "Edmund, you little-"
"Don't." Edmund said coolly, taking hold of her wrists and slowly pushing her back down onto the bed. He let go of her wrists and then began to unbuckle Christine's waist guard and next her leather vest. Stepping back, Edmund removed his shirt. After all of her weak protests, Christine couldn't help but bite her lip as she took in everything that she saw. Edmund's chest rose and fell slowly and calmly. The smooth muscles of his torso and arms shining in the candlelight.
"Take it off." He ordered, indicating her belt and leg armor. Christine did so and when she was finished, Edmund moved forward, placed one hand upon her chest and his other hand tightened around her arm, slowly pushing himself on top of her.
Christine stared up into Edmund's handsome face feeling that, the Mist couldn't be all that bad. After all, even though it was Mist Edmund who had cornered her that day and made her tremble, he was correct in the reason why she had been shaking. She had indeed been very taken with him ever since the first time she saw him at that idiot Eustace's house. Even more so when they entered Narnia and she saw him in his old fashioned Narnian attire.
Moving her thoughts aside and trying not to feel dazed by the situation at hand, Christine felt Edmund's hand at her waist, pulling down her leggings to reveal her dark, laced panties that had been given to her by a gypsy woman who'd practically thrown them at her in a small basket with a various assortment of perfumes, that day in the Lone Islands when they had been rescued by Caspian's crew. She had said something along the lines of, "For the one alongside the King..." which made Caspian smirk and Christine groan in disgust. Her mind snapped back to reality as Edmund ran his tongue over teeth while slowly tracing the pattern of her panties with his long fingers.
"Hmm..." He bit his lip as he slipped a finger beneath the sheer material and began to massage Christine. She gripped the bed sheets and whimpered, her lips parted and eyes shut tight.
"Fuck," Edmund muttered. "you're fucking tight." Christine arched her back as he delicately pushed a finger inside of her and rotated it in a circular motion. While doing this, he leaned up and began sucking and biting her neck. She cried out, clenching her thighs together in reaction to Edmund inserting two fingers into her. "Oh, no you don't" Edmund pushed her legs apart, leaning into her so that his fingers were pressed more deeply inside of her. Christine whimpered and held onto Edmund as he moved faster, using his body to create momentum, he turned his hand so that he was almost pinching her in between his fingers. His thumb rapidly rubbing her heated area. She was really moaning now. Her fingers dug into Edmund's back and she squirmed underneath him, her legs bending and her heels digging into the bed. Edmund held her legs down as her body bucked. His chest moved back and forth over her chest, pushing her into the bed while he pushed deeper into her. She could feel herself dripping with the wetness in between her legs as he pushed his fingers into her one last time, making her cry out and her walls tighten around his fingers.
"Ahh-oh, oh fuck!" Christine breathed, her body convulsing with spasms. Edmund licked the side of her mouth and removed his fingers, his lips parted. Licking them suggestively, he lowered his face to hers and proceeded to bite her lip. Pulling it back softly and letting it go, then moving down again, running his tongue across her bottom lip. Christine whimpered and tried to lean forward to kiss him, Edmund however placed a finger on her lips, forcing her back. She wasn't having it.
