Honor and Glory
It's been quite literally years since I last remembered this was a thing. And I just now updating it with a some status thing will confuse a ton of people who have (hopefully) bettered their standards. But I figured that it wouldn't hurt to make a statement more so for myself than anyone who was legit interested in this premise... which if there was someone still holding out for an update than I tip my hat to you.
First things first, if you ever wanted to know the idea that this story was gonna go, all you need to know is that you have probably read it countess times before. Humans + their allies with their super strong uber tech fight against the council and eventually beat the Reapers too. The only thing I am still proud about when I came up with his concept was that it was gonna be more covert based, but I know I wouldn't have been able to properly write that back then, I was legit gonna have the Ossoona just sneak into the Council Chambers unopposed. Even though there would realistically be all sorts of shit that should alert whatever security the Citadel has that he was there.
But then again this was first written in 2012, and I was... I wasn't the person I am today I'll say that much.
Anyways, I was hoping to get back into writing around that time, and I was working on practically my skills (or lack thereof) to become a better writer, but around 2013 I hit a major road block that I am still kinda feeling the effects of today. But I am currently working to get back into this mood of writing and maybe this time of self isolation will help me work towards that goal, 2020 is a hell of a year for it.
I don't think I would have written this story today, not as much in my interest, and the plot would be very different. But a part of me is tempted to just do a sort of "Short summery" type of thing with this, maybe then I can inspire someone else to try what I originally wanted to write, and hopefully avoid all the pitfalls I had.
All that said, what did your comments say?

"Because Sangheili can totally use forerunner technology, You're a shitty author."
I think I was a shitty author because I committed the sin of a story starting with a timeline. Not even accounting for the spelling and grammar mistakes. Anyways this is a pretty silly comment because the Covenant do use Forerunner tech, at least a shitty copy of it. The thing about Forerunner tech is that all the big toys have a lock, and humans are the key. I mean, the major plot of Halo Wars 1 was the Prophet of Regret wanting to use the Forerunner ships for himself. The Covenant itself was formed after a war between the two founder races because one used forerunner technology.
If you're gonna criticize someone for being a shitty author, criticize them for being a shitty author, not for you getting your lore mixed up.

"I assume the zerg will pop back up so i want to know will that mean that we will get the queen of blades to show up? and will the zerg remain villains or just be kinda neutral kinda like the end of Hots (in my opinion)"
I added Zerg to the story? Look if you told me this all these years ago I wouldn't have a clue wth you were saying, but I do now, the thing about when I added them to the story, is that I just wanted to add some cool shit, and just threw them in. Something I'd never do these days since If I don't know about the subject I will avoid it as much as possible.
I was a very naughty boy when it came to avoiding pitfalls in 2012.

Oh you sweet summer child, I really hope you have raised your standards since then. If you were still interested in this story today though, I will at least congratulate you on your dedication, because wow, you would clearly have more investment in this than me.

Shit, If I wrote this story today, I'd add some Tau and Ork Boyz, no prob! Tau mostly for the fodder, but still.

"'Master Chief Petty Officer Of The Navy which is a enlisted equivalent to the Commissioned Rank of Commander' Are you fucking kidding me. Enlisted ranks are below Commissioned Ranks. There are no equivalents between enlisted and commissioned ranks. Warrant Officer is higher than MCPON. Commander is higher than Warrant Officer. Get that through your head.
On one hand, I'd want to be fair to myself and say that was not what I mean to type, but then again, it was probably me speaking out my ass. Which makes no sense because all I would have to do is look at the Halo wiki. Lucky for you I have long since learned more about how military ranks and all that work, Didn't know shit at the time I wrote this, at least I can only guess I didn't.
"Also, you overdid on the crossovers. Too many crossovers kinda ruins the story. I mean, Dead Space, Gears of War, Star Craft and more? That's just too much. Elements of one universe will conflict with another's. Like say, Imulsion and Eezo. Or Psionics and the Markers"
Now, I'll agree that overdoing it on the crossovers, but I have to argue that your examples are extremely poor.
There is nothing preventing Imulsion and Eezo being in the same setting, same with Psionics and the Markers. After all, there are crossover fan fics were these things are supposed to interact. Actual canon conflicts tend to arise with things like "How do the Forerunners exist, or how is there still a cycle after they showed up, in a Halo/ME crossover. Because ignoring the issue of the Precursors, the Reapers are not in the same weight class as the Forerunners, but without the Forerunners, Ancient Humanity, and the Flood, you can't really get modern Halo. It's an issue that has to be addressed some way or else it doesn't work. And when you start adding more and more works to the pile, the issue becomes compounded.

"Tons of spelling errors and grammatical errors, it's in severe need of proofreading. Also, Halo, Mass Effect, Dead Space, Starcraft, Code Geass, Killzone, Gears of War, Red Faction, and Saints Row? Isn't that a little too many crossovers?"
Ya know, you ain't wrong, I often find myself haunted by that ghost to this very day. You think this is bad though, you should see me typing on discord or Steam, grammar nazi nightmare that shit is. I don't even know why i added half of that, I'm jsut takign your word for it too, all I knwo is that you're fucking with me, but that could legit be all or soem of the crossovers I put in the story.
I was gonna correct soem spelling, but I left that mispelled jsut for you.

"Interesting idea, hope the story lives up to the premise. Good luck, I'll be watching it."
It wouldn't have, it would have been just another Humanity fuck yeah story, probably with unintentional Uncle Tom type of characterization for the aliens in the Alliance. It wouldn't have been pretty bad, and I am happy that it didn't last.

"An ok start, but it would really help if you checked and corrected the various grammatical and spelling errors before publishing."
Thankfully I understand that now, I learned a whole lot since 2012, even if I don't particularly write stories anymore. I still developed and learned a bit.

"I like this concept; seeing how the Systems Alliance could have turned out without the Prophets around to manipulate everything was a nice idea. Couldn't help but make a face at how quickly the humans built up, though; 6 years from first finding alien tech to reasonably fighting this new and improved SA? It's a bit unrealistic; give humans even a hundred years more and they might do OK but that soon they were probably stomped. Not quite sure why you changed the names of Earth's organizations, either; UEG and UNSC are perfectly good names in my opinion! Not a big deal though. Looking forward to more of this."
Probably due to me taking things for granted. I severely underestimated how long it would take to integrate and come up with new technology, and then to further develop it all.

You know, even though this is a comment for an old shitty story I wrote like, what 8 years ago? I really need that good luck, makes me happy, and I need that more for now than I do then.
Gonna be honest, what I wanna write now, isn't necessarily the same as what I wrote then.
But I am trying to get back into the mood of writing again, I am thinking of writing sci fi stories in the future, maybe some Mass Effect stories, maybe some Halo. Who knows, maybe one day I'll come back to this story and re work it ground up to maintain the core idea of "Space MGS" with my current interest and ability.
