BPov:

As soon as I get home I change and jump into bed, exhausted after such a fun night. I smile as I think about my date with Edward, it truly felt magical. He picked me up as the afternoon was starting. We got in his car and talked about mundane things, both of us oblivious to each others shyness. This was after all my first date vampire or human. It may have been his first in a while. After a little bit of a ride we got out of his car and he grabbed a picnic basket and blanket from the trunk.

Then we started hiking, I followed after him because I didn't know where we were going. He was off the path slightly and was walking with such certainty anyone would have followed him. Still talking about some rather random trivia pieces we soon reached our destination, we were walking at a brisk pace after all. Telling me to stay where I was he went and set up the blanket and food. Coming back quite quickly, he moved behind me and put his hands over my eyes.

"I want to be able to see your reaction when you see the scenery. I've never shown anyone else what you're about to see, besides me I think you will be one of the only people to know about this place."

I smile softly, knowing this mist mean a lot to him. Showing me this means I must be important to him. Shuffling forward slowly I assume we get to the edge of his place because he stops. Dropping his hands from my eyes he walks up beside me and whispers softly in my ear,

"Open your eyes Bella."

I feel his breath fan across my skin, electricity sparks when his mouth touches my ear. Taking in a deep shaky breath I slowly open my eyes. Gasping at the beauty that now surrounds me I start to process the beautiful little river off to the side, the astounding clearing filled with pretty flowers. On top of a slight hill is a blanket with a picnic laid out on top. I take shallow breathes, trying to understand why someone would go through all this effort for me. I'm not used to anything like this, my mom and Phil made sure of that. Ignoring those thoughts I close my eyes and just enjoy the simplicity of the moment.

"What do you think Bella?"

Edward questions me worriedly.

"It's so incredible, I can hardly believe it's real. I can't believe no one else knows about this. I mean I know it's not on the path but I can't be that hard to find."

Edward chuckles at my astonishment and excitement. He grabs my hand and once again leads me, this time to the top of the hill. When we get to the top we start eating. Well, I eat and he pretends. It's a good thing I'm not selfconscious or we both wouldn't be eating. When I finish we laid down side by side on the blanket. Staring up I see a tiny bit of sunlight leaking in from cracks in the trees. Even that tiny crack brightens everything in the clearing.

We lay there for a while talking a little but mostly just staring at the sky and enjoying the quiet. After a while the light fades and instead you start to see stars peeking through. When we notice that we decide to pack up and head for the car. On the walk back I walk beside him and we hold hands. His hands are cold yet have a warmth to them. They are strong but gentle. But the best part is how well it fits with mine.

We get to the car and he opens the door for me. Throwing the blanket and basket in the back seat he gets into the drivers seat and starts the car. The car ride home is silent except for the engine, a comfortable silence I could never get bored with. Parking the car in my drive way he gets out and opens my door for me.

Holding my hand again he walks me to the door. When we get there we turn to each other and quickly, as if he would lose his courage, he kisses me. Soft full lips on my own, a light pressure barely there, yet they still leave me breathless. Pulling back he smiles and quietly says goodbye before walking back to his car. Watching him I wave when he pulls out of the drive way and starts on his way home. Rushing up the stairs I change and jump on the bed. A smile splitting my face the whole time.

Hey, once again I'm on my iPod so mistakes are a given. Sorry for not updating in a while my dog died and its been hard on me. I worked hard on this chapter though and hope I can update soon again. Please give me some feedback, positive or negative. Hope you liked it. R&R.
