Hello there! It has been a long time since I have updated this fanfic. Well I am so sorry, I was just reading too much fanfic that I forgot to update. and I have been busy with life. My father just passed away when I was on my holiday. I couldnt help but crying so hard. I felt like I was being a very bad daughter. And work have made me going crazy as well! Even though I am still on my college holiday but I still have work to do at my office. gahh! Chapter 2. A New Relationship

A pair of silver eyes slowly opened by the sun that shone upon his face through the window. His eyes looked swollen as if he was just crying out loud his agony last night. It was not all true or wrong, because little did the silver haired beauty was indeed crying because of a certain prince of vampire called Kuran Kaname. "Aghh…" Zero muttered under his breath, he rubbed his forehead as he reminded what had happened last night. "Why did I need to cry in front him all of people?" He suddenly regretted what he had done last night. He was Kiryuu Zero! He was born in Hunter Family, one of the strongest one! What did he just do last night?

"Why…? Why does it need to happen on me? I am a male for sure… why, God…? Why?" He desperately groaned realizing what was going on with his body. He was getting more sensitive these days and he did not know why. Perhaps it was because of his 'hormone' that was changing lately due to his 18 birthday which was coming soon.

"Zero-sama…" A soft voice called his name in concern, Zero just glanced at a girl who was just older a year above him. "Don't worry Sayuki… I am fine…" Zero answered to reassure her. "By the way, what's wrong with you being in my room?" He raised his eyebrow in question. Sayuki who was standing by Zero's window just sighed in relief upon hearing her master's answer. Actually, she had no idea to answer the question that Zero threw on her way. He had known Zero for quite a long time after his parents had passed away.

"Actually… I am here to remind you that Kenji-sama wish to meet you on Thursday's night…which means the day after tomorrow…" Sayuki informed as she looked at her own master, almost pitifully. Zero hated that, he really hated that stare, he did not want to be pitied by anyone at all. He knew that his life would change dramatically after his 18's birthday, which was he, himself ready or not for it. As he remembered the fact that on his 18's birthday, there would be a full moon, he felt like his body getting numb.

Zero had no idea what his grandfather wanted from him. He still remembered clearly how he found out that he still had a family from his mother's side. And to make it worse, his mother's gene was exactly the thing that had been inside his body since the event of his 13's birthday while he was staying in his grandfather's castle.

And Zero still remembered the joy that his grandfather had in his eyes back then. Zero was loved by his grandfather before he found out Zero's rare condition, However he grew to love Zero more when he found out that Zero was his only heir! And a very rare one to be exact. He felt so proud of himself whenever he saw Zero.

Zero just stayed speechless, it was not like he did not like his grandfather. However, the horrible memory of his 13's birthday still felt so fresh in his mind. Oh God… if only he had to choose, he was confused whether to choose as a vampire or this.

"Sayuki…" He started, as the said woman turned her attention to him in instant. " Tell grandpa that I would be there as soon as I can… Remember, you should not mention anything happened with me here, okay? If he knows that a pureblood vampire is here, he will definitely send me back to his castle…" Zero just didn't want to get that kind of consequence. His grandfather was anxious and would take him as soon as possible if he knew that the king of vampire was here in this school. Because of Zero's condition that leaded him to not able to be near to a pureblood had made his grandfather became so aware of this matter. And Zero had begged Kaein to lie to his grandfather about a certain pureblood's existence here. He just wanted to be away from his grandfather, it was not like he did not love him. He did love him a lot, more than anything in this world. He was his only relative that still remained alive, after Ichiru was nowhere to be found.

"Zero-sama…" Sayuki stared at him again, worries could be seen in her eyes. Sayuki just loved Zero so much, not in romantic way though. Because Sayuki always considered Zero as her princess, the one that she needed to protect and look after. Zero had never treated her badly, he was a very kind person behind his cold mask. Zero had always treated the people in his grandfather's castle as his family, especially Sayuki, she was like a sister and a mother for him.

"I am okay Sayuki…" He formed a gentle smile that can melt the snow on the top of Mt. Fuji. Zero had always given his best smiles to those people he cared. And in this condition, Sayuki wouldn't say anything after seeing the smile that had shine her life.

Zero just glanced at the sun through his window, he closed his eyes as his mind was indeed a mess at the moment.

'I am going to be okay, right?'

That day had passed smoothly without Zero sleeping in all of class. Now it was his time to become a prefect again and he just couldn't help to what he would do when he saw that pureblood prince. He was so nervous that he couldn't bring himself to face him in the eyes. Damn! He should be relaxed and act as if nothing happened last night. It was just his hormone that brought him to act that way.

"Zero! Hurry up!" Yuki snapped him out from his daydreaming. Zero just cursed under his breath before going to follow her behind.

As Zero and Yuki arrived at the gate of Moon Dorm, there were already a large number of students from Day Class and fuck! Most of them were girls. And Girls were desperately annoying for Kiryu Zero! Truth to be told, actually half of the Day Students were here not only for their beloved Night Class' students. It was also for Zero. However they just couldn't bring themselves to face Zero in school. Zero was just as cold as an ice, even though he was really a beauty. And to be honest his beauty might be as great as the Night students.

"Kyaa!" Shouted the girls when Zero and Yuki appeared in front of them. Zero just sent his glare upon their way, making them gasped and turn quiet in a second.

"Be good and listen to me well! If I see one of you trying to get close to Night Class' students, you will know the consequence!" He threatened with his oh-so-infamous-glare. The Day Class' students just got paled upon imagining what consequence they might get from this infamous silver beauty.

Creak…

The gate of Moon Dorm was opened widely making the Day Class' students screaming hysterically. "Damn!" Zero muttered. He tried his best to avoid the one that appear in the front of that bunch of vampires. He tried to concentrate on sending away those idiots of Day Class.

"Idol-senpaaaii!"

"Kain-senpaaaii!"

"Shiki-senpaaaiiii!"

"KANAME-SAMAA!"

'Dug'… 'Dug'… Zero could feel his heartbeat suddenly thumping crazily upon hearing that pureblood's name. Calm down Zero… Calm down… He assured himself while glaring at those stupid girls in front of him. Zero could hear their footsteps were getting closer and closer as if they were walking towards him.

Zero just could not help it, his nervousness had risen up until he was not able to turn around and meet those bloodsuckers. God! Please help me! Don't let him come to my way!

Well, seems like the luck was not on his side. Zero cursed silently when he felt someone was behind him. 'Shit!'he cursed mentally. He was so tense, and he did not know why. He felt embarrassing in all of a sudden. What the fuck happened with him? He was Kiryu Zero for you! A cold hearted bastard that was actually a very kind one inside.

Zero felt like a loser, he was there! Kuran was behind him, standing there. Zero could smell his scene. Hell! He was now acting like a dog. He even remembered Kuran's scene.

"Kiryu…" He heard Kaname called him out. And Zero really felt like running away now. He wanted to run… run away from this guy that had seen the embarrassing side of him last night.

"What?" Zero answered nervously, he didn't even turn his head to face Kaname. He preferred to look down on his toes which were invisible for him to see.

"Hey you! How dare you to speak like that to Kaname-sama?! Speak properly to him, face him!" Aidou meddled after he showed how disgraceful Zero was to act like that to his Kaname-sama.

"Aidou!" It was Kaname's voice that Zero was able to recognize it. And his voice was stern making Aidou winced on his spot while glancing at Kain for a help.

Zero just stayed still. He did not want to see Kaname for now, he was doomed and he wondered what this Kuran would do to him and what kind of humiliating that he would get from him.

The atmosphere was so tense, even those girls of Days Class just stared at them quietly and some of them started to think something 'fishy' was going on between those two guys. That's fujoshi for you!

Yuki who was there just watched them in silent as she glanced at Takuma in question. However the blond vampire also had no idea what happened was going on there.

"I wish to talk to you… Would you like to come with me?" Kaname asked one more time. He was also feeling incredibly nervous. He wanted to say something to Zero for what happened last night. He even could not sleep the moment he saw the silver beauty cried like that. His heart started to feel strange whenever he remembered what had happened last night. Zero looked so pure, so innocent, and oh-so-damn-beautiful. What…? What did he just say? Did he admit Zero was beautiful?! He might be crazy now. But Kaname could not lie to himself, it was the truth. Zero was pretty… and he was even prettier than his precious Yuki.

Zero sighed in defeat he turned his body but still refuse to see him in the eyes. "Lets go…" He whispered.

Kaname smiled a bit, he felt happy when Zero decided to go with him. He glanced at Takuma and the others. "Please go ahead to the class first. I have something be done with Kiryu…" He ordered. Aidou was about to complain but a pair of hands of his cousin had dragged him away from Kaname's sight.

Kaze

Kaname led Zero to the nearest garden from Moon Dorm after he made sure that all of the students from Day and Night Class already went to their own places.

The silver haired beauty just stood uncomfortably while Kaname stared at him in awe. "I am sorry…" Kaname finally apologized.

It made Zero looked up instantly as he frowned at him. "What… what do you mean?" Zero asked in confusion.

"For last night…" Kaname answered while Zero just formed 'o' in reply. "And for everything I have done to you… maybe I've hurt you a lot that brought you to cry like that… I am so sorry… I am deeply sorry…"

Zero just stared at him in awe, he didn't know what to say. His tongue had been numb, it was not like Kaname was the one at fault here. He was just being over-sensitive that made him acting like that.

"Hmm…" Zero hummed while looking at Kaname. Kaname was so pitiful for him now, it was not the Kuran Kaname he had known. He didn't like this kind of Kaname, it was all he was sure about.

Zero stared at Kaname deeply to search what's inside Kaname's mind until he decided to apologize to him. He found nothing but guilt and sincerity there. He knew that Kaname was not acting nice here that he really meant it.

"It is okay, Kuran…" Zero finally responded. "It is not that your fault! I was just being sensitive last night… I didn't mean to cry actually. It was just… you know, I was like on my period." Zero chuckled lightly.

Kaname just smiled at that, he loved to see Zero acting like this towards him. He meant it. Zero was actually warm and kind, it seemed like Zero had let his guard down until he showed Kaname this side of him.

"But… I am really sorry Zero… Please at least say you forgive me. At least I will feel at ease if you say so."

Zero just formed a small smile, "I do forgive you! Oh please, where is the cold bastard of pureblood I have known here?" He said playfully.

Kaname just smirked at that remark, he laughed along with Zero as if both of them were best of best friends.

"I think… we should stop this hearted towards each other, Kuran… as you know, I have forgiven you, and I also apologize for what I have done to you…" Zero suddenly said bringing back Kaname to this world.

Kaname nodded in agreement, he could not more agree than this. Zero was right, they really need to end this kind of stupid hearted towards each other and start a new friendship. It wont hurt both of them, right?

"Then, shall you be my friend, Zero?" Kaname offered his hand to Zero with a smile on his lips.

"Of course, Kaname!"

Both of them shook their hands properly and warmly, as they started their new friendship. Suddenly Kaname remembered what he had prepared for Zero.

"I have this for you… I don't know what kind of thing you like, as I remember Yuki ever told me that you are close to White Lily, the horse in our school's stable. I think it would be a perfect gift for you…" Kaname took a white lily from his blazer as he handed it to Zero. "It might be girly for you… However I am clueless with what things you love…" He said almost shyly while he rubbed his neck nervously.

Zero just looked at him, speechless. He felt so evil for what he had done towards Kaname. Kaname was actually very kind to give him this kind of gift. It was the first time in his life he had been given a flower as a gift. It might be girly, and Zero hated girly things. But for Kaname to have prepared this for him, he might have thought a lot for what gift he should give him.

Zero felt so touched that he felt his tears on the edge of his eyes. He felt butterfly inside his stomach as he took the white lily from Kaname's grip. Kaname just stared at him slowly seeing Zero took the flower from him.

"Thank you, Kaname…." Zero said smilling gently and genuinely.

Kaname was speechless. 'Dug…Dug…Dug…' He felt his heart was ready to burst as he watched Zero staring at the white lily almost lovingly.

And Kaname was not sure what would happen with his life from now on…

well the next chapter would be the start of everything! the next chapters should answer all of you what kind of Grandfather Zero had, and why does he not like pureblood to be close to Zero...

I promise you that Kaname and Zero would be closer than this, however there are a lot of obstacles that Kaname needs to face before he can have Zero as his, since there are a lot of candidates that wish to be Zero's husbands in the near future. xoxoxoxo
