Gon promised to change, but he wasn't sure where to start from. He had embarked on his journey to find his dad again, after using the hunter website to find clues for where his dad was. His dad seemed to chase after the newest biggest and most dangerous quests and treasures, yet when Gon finally reached where his dad was, Ging had already left or was hiding from him. He had considered giving up, but then what could he do then? He became a hunter just to find Ging, and he really wanted to meet him, to see what kind of person he was, but nothing was working out.
He had even lost his own friend during his blind pursuit.
Kurapika and the rest were right, he needed time to sort this through.
"Are Killua and I still friends...?" Gon mumbled to himself as he rested beneath and tree, sighing.
A rustling sound above him startled him, and he instantly jumped away into a fighting stance, a protective barrier of nen surrounding him. He looked up to see a pretty 'girl' dressed in a kimono standing on top of a tree branch. He recognized her as Killua's sibling.
"You're... Kalluto?"
'She' ignored those words, instead of launching into insults.
"'Friends' is a word you throw around so casually, but have you actually thought about what that means? I bet you haven't. You use it to make someone lower their guard around you and help you, and ignore them whenever it suits your fancy?" Kalluto scoffed, eyeing Gon with clear disdain. "My brother was so stupid to have trusted you. Mother was right. We don't need friends."
"You might be right, I wasn't thinking clearly about it," Gon replied sombrely, looking down at his hands. How could he hit Killua? He looked up at the pretty 'girl' again, smiling sadly. "But I do think everyone needs friends. Without them, I wouldn't have come this far, I wouldn't have realized that I'm not perfect and have parts of me I need to fix."
"That just means you're weak," Kalluto sneered.
"Maybe," Gon laughed awkwardly, scratching the side of his head. "But training with Killua was fun, and it made me stronger."
That seemed to irk Kalluto.
"Where is he? I need to drag him back home."
"Killua's with Hisoka. Oh, but you don't have to worry, Hisoka's taking good care of him," Gon added quickly when Kalluto frowned.
"Who said I'm worried?" Kalluto huffed, turning away. There was a hint of a blush on Kalluto's cheeks.
Gon smiled. "You guys are really a family."
"Don't state the obvious," Kalluto scowled, "That's why you're an idiot, idiot."
"Arigatou, Killua's little sister," Gon beamed. "I think I'm closer to an answer now."
"HAHHH?" Kalluto gaped at Gon calling him Killua's little sister. Well yeah, his mother forced him to dress in female clothing (he refused dresses with vigor, and allowed kimonos), but did he really look like a girl? He went with it because his mother kept crying, saying something about wanting a daughter to dress up, even though their house did have a female, albeit locked up. "... Call me Kalluto," Kalluto grouched, making a face.
"That face really resembles Killua," Gon laughed. "When he's pretending to be stubborn but lets me win anyway."
"I-It does?" Kalluto blinked, interested.
Gon couldn't help but smile at Kalluto's obvious fondness for Killua. "Want to exchange stories about Killua? I'll tell you about the hunter exam, how we learned nen and greed island."
"...It can't be helped, since it will help me find Killua," Kalluto relented, hopping down from the tree.
Gon looked closely at Kalluto. He never really had a female friend around his age before, since Whale Island was full of older people, and he only had older friends. Then he met Killua at the Hunter Exam, and the rest is history. But Kalluto was really pretty, with huge eyes framed with long eyelashes, and a bob cut hairstyle that really suited 'her'. And that mole near her mouth was really cute...
"Well, aren't you going to talk?" that pretty mouth snapped, and Gon snapped back to his senses.
"O-oh, yeah," Gon laughed awkwardly. "Okay, so Killua and I first met at the hunter exam..."

Kurapika felt exhausted when he woke up. He was so sore everywhere, and he didn't feel like moving at all. He felt refreshed, however, since the tension that was built up in his shoulders had disappeared. But harsh sunlight was filtering in through his window, indicating that it was somewhere around early afternoon. Yawning, he stretched, flinching when the blanket slipped off his bare shoulders. He paused in his actions, eyes growing comically wide as his brain tried to function again.
"Mm..." Someone groaned next to him.
Yesterday... yesterday... YESTERDAY! A full on blush hit Kurapika, and he sunk deeper into bed, utterly embarrassed that he had completely let himself go like that. That's not what he was like at all! That's not... But then again nothing about him ending up with Illumi made sense anyway. Sighing in exasperation, Kurapika turned to face his boyfriend. He smiled at Illumi's strangely innocent looking sleeping face, moving his hand to brush off the stray bangs falling in Illumi's face.
A muscular arm snaked around his waist, pulling him closer. Kurapika gasped at the unexpected action, his heart speeding up as he watched Illumi's face, wondering if Illumi was going to wake up soon.
"Illumi?" He whispered softly.
Closed eyes flung open, causing Kurapika's heart to go into overdrive. His face heated up instantly, and the only words he could manage to speak was "Ohayo, Illumi." Seeing how Illumi just continued to stare at him, Kurapika smiled a little helplessly, feeling quite awkward. It seemed as though they were both butt naked under the blanket, and he really should stop being embarrassed by now, but he couldn't help but worry that his body was not good enough. After all, Illumi seemed so experienced...
When Illumi opened his eyes, he saw his gorgeous blond boyfriend in front of him, glowering brightly with the help of the sunlight falling gently on Kurapika's radiant skin. Those blond locks were adorably tousled, a clear indication of what they did the previous night. Warm blue eyes regarded him gently, with a depth of emotion Illumi never knew was possible, and the blushing cheeks told him Kurapika loved him. He had never woken up to such a gentle and loving voice, and he couldn't help but finally smile back after being enraptured by Kurapika's beautiful face.
"You feeling alright?" Illumi's voice was low and hoarse from the night's sleep(and activities), and it sent a shiver down Kurapika's spine as Illumi regarded him closely.
"Y-yes," Kurapika lied, even was he was becoming increasingly sore somewhere. It wasn't like he could say that out loud! He avoided Illumi's intense eye contact, and turned away, getting terribly embarrassed again.
"Why are you turning away?" Illumi's voice held a hint of displeasure, and Kurapika was worried he upset his boyfriend.
"No, it's just because I'm too shy to look you in the eyes right now..." Kurapika mumbled.
Illumi chuckled and shifted to spoon Kurapika from the back. It was just like Kurapika to be sensitive about the strangest things. "I love you." He hugged his precious blond tightly.
... Kurapika struggled, but finally replied, "M-me too."
They stayed like that for awhile, just enjoying the moment, when Kurapika briefly wondered what time it was. His eyes fell on the alarm clock. Oh god. Flying into a mental panic for being very late for work, Kurapika sat up instantly, cringing at the pain the action brought him.
"What's wrong?"
"I- I, I'm late for work," Kurapika smoothed his expression back to normal, attempting a smile at his boyfriend. Looking down at himself, he scrunched up his nose. He definitely needed a shower, he felt sticky and gross. Gingerly, he tried to stand up but instantly fell onto the ground. Before he knew it, Illumi was right next to him, scooping him up with strong arms.
"I-I'm fine!" Kurapika said in a fluster before Illumi even said anything. "Please put me down."
"You can depend on me more, you know," Illumi smirked, before frowning. "Or you don't trust me?"
It was definitely a manipulative ploy, and Kurapika knew it, but it was so endearing that he couldn't help but give an exasperated smile. "Of course I do, idiot. I'm just... not used to depending on someone."
"You better get used to it."
Illumi carried Kurapika to the shower, setting him down gently in the bath tub. He started to climb in as well, setting Kurapika into a frenzy of panic. "U-Um!"
"I won't do anything, don't worry," Illumi promised with amusement.
Kurapika couldn't help but stare at the porcelain shoulders in front of him. He didn't dare to look further down. Being so close to Illumi was... It was the first time in his life that he was so close and intimate with someone, and he couldn't help feeling shy and unsure of what to do. Illumi seemed so charming and experienced compared to him.
"Hey Illumi..." he mumbled as Illumi started to help shampoo his hair.
"Hmm?"
"How many people did you date before me?"
Illumi blinked, wondering where this came from. "I didn't do 'dates'."
"O-oh..." Kurapika got the meaning behind that. While that meant Kurapika was his first boyfriend, Illumi did have a lot of experience.
"What about you?"
"Me?" Kurapika blinked, looking up, making him get some soap into his eye. "Ow."
Illumi helped him to rinse off the soap immediately.
"Kurapika."
"Huh?"
"Answer me," Illumi sulked.
Was Illumi being jealous right now? Kurapika hid a little smile, wondering what would happen if he lied to tease him.
"Well..." Kurapika drawled as he rubbed the shower gel across the rest of his body.
"What did they do? I'll do it a hundred times more," Illumi growled, sending a thrill of excitement across Kurapika's body. Kurapika was playing a dangerous game right now. But he really had to go to work soon, and after last night he wasn't sure he could withstand Illumi's possessiveness right now.
"I'm kidding, there wasn't anyone else," Kurapika giggled, diffusing the tension in the air as Illumi washed off the soap from his body. "Don't be angry, it was just cute to see you jealous."
Illumi sighed, pushing the hair back from his playful lover's forehead so he could see the glittering blue eyes filled with mirth. "You're going to make me want to tie you up and prevent you from seeing other men."
"I won't do anything with anyone else," Kurapika pouted. "As long as you don't either."
"As if anyone else attracts me," Illumi leaned down to kiss Kurapika, and Kurapika kissed him back sweetly. When Illumi leaned back, those blue eyes were tinged with red again as Kurapika smiled beautifully at him.
"Please stop being so handsome, I need to leave for work," Kurapika joked, pushing Illumi lightly. He snickered at Illumi's smirk, leaving the bathtub quickly to dry himself. While it was fun to be with Illumi, he had a job to do, and Senritsu and Neon were waiting for him.
"Are you going to be here later?" Kurapika asked curiously as he dressed himself in a tuxedo. Illumi was now out of the tub too, dressed in boxers and a towel over his dripping hair. He used it to towel dry Kurapika's first, fussing over him.
"No, I'll be back in a few nights. I'll call you."
"Okay," Kurapika pouted, making Illumi freeze as though contemplating just staying and throwing aside everything else. "I'll miss you," Kurapika smiled, wrapping his arms around Illumi, shyly tiptoeing to press a chaste kiss on Illumi's lips.
Illumi made a dissatisfied sound in the back of his throat pulling Kurapika closer to deepen the kiss.
"Mm, wait!" Kurapika pushed Illumi back, huffing. It was cute with his blond hair all tousled. "I'll never be able to go to work if you keep doing that."
Illumi sulked.
"Stop it," Kurapika laughed, using the towel on Illumi's head to help dry his hair. Teasingly, he wrapped it around Illumi's neck, using it to pull him closer. "One last kiss and I really have to go."
Illumi kissed him like he was starving, and Kurapika had never been as attracted to and fond of someone as he had been at that moment.
"See you," Kurapika whispered, giving one last smile as he hurried out the door, before he could lose the willpower to leave.

Killua rolled around on the bed, humming as he typed a search entry on the new phone Hisoka bought for him. How... to... grow up... faster...
"What are you doing?"
The sudden proximity of the voice had Killua screeching, and he almost fell off the bed if not for Hisoka grabbing the back of his shirt.
"Aren't you a jumpy kitty today," Hisoka teased, keen eyes reading the words on the screen. "Oh, what's this?"
Killua blushed, kicking Hisoka in the face to shove him away as he brought his phone close to his chest protectively. He felt bad and wanted to apologize for it after, but then again he was too embarrassed and prideful to do so. He settled for pouting and the silent treatment. Hisoka was not fazed by Killua's tsundere tendencies by now, and he just scooted back up to lie next to Killua. "Why do you want to grow up faster?"
"Shut up," Killua groaned, turning away to be face down on the bed. His voice was now muffled by the sheets. "I just ..."
"Hm? I didn't catch that."
Killua turned a little, so Hisoka could see his wide and expressive blue eyes.
"I feel like such a child sometimes," Killua pouted. "And I want to hurry up and be your equal."
It was such a cute reason that Hisoka froze up, fighting his urges to attack the boy instantly. Killua gauged Hisoka's reaction carefully, seemingly worried about what he might say. Once he got his emotions under control(and his raging hormones), he replied carefully, "Is that why you've been staring at your phone the past few hours?"
"...Mm," Killua blushed, turning back to hide his face in the sheets. That was too cute.
Hisoka chuckled, reaching up to pet Killua's snowy soft hair.
"You're treating me like a kid again!"
"You should stop worrying about things like that," Hisoka smirked. "You're cute enough for me to wait for you to ripe. Then I'll take my sweet time harvesting you."
"Stop with the fruit thing already," Killua groaned, throwing a pillow over at Hisoka, which hit his face and fell. Hisoka was undeterred, with a confident and annoying face.
"I'll harvest you, over and over and over..." he drawled slowly, and Killua flushed.
"I... think I need to continue googling after all..." Killua looked away, embarrassed.
Hisoka snickered. How is Killua such a cuteness vending machine? "You can still ask for hugs and kisses," Hisoka cooed. "But don't tempt me, or I'll jump you after all."
Killua was quiet, contemplating his options as he peeked over at Hisoka's calmly waiting face.
"Why are you able to stay so calm when I'm always such a blushing mess?" Killua asked honestly, looking like the thought had genuinely been plaguing his mind. "I'm always reacting to the things you say but you always seem so calm."
"Calm?" Hisoka chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Do you want to see the part of me that's reacting to you?"
Hisoka was smirking dirtily again, and Killua's eyes slowly wandered down to the definite bulge in Hisoka's pants.
"Oh." Killua squeaked.
"Trust me, everything you do affects me too," Hisoka assured sweetly, ruffling Killua's hair again.
"Okay," Killua agreed quietly. He definitely wasn't ready for that yet. His heart was beating so fast that he would die every time Hisoka teased him. Feeling insecure, he wriggled his feet, thinking.
"But... you promise you'll wait for me? You won't leave me for someone else?" Killua peeked up at Hisoka, whose face darkened. Killua flinched.
"Killua.."
"Y-yes?"
"What did I say about being so cute?" Hisoka leaned down, and he was so close Killua's heart went into disarray again.
"But what if I stop being c-cute when I grow up?" Killua pouted.
"I have no doubt you'll grow much, much more attractive when you're older," Hisoka cooed, ruffling Killua's hair.
Killua smiled, regaining his confidence. "Of course! You'll regret it if you leave me for someone else before I grow up! I'll be much, much, much more attractive than Illumi!"
"Oho? I'll be looking forward to that," Hisoka grinned.
"You not going to tell me to not cheat?" Killua teased, a catty grin on his face.
"I won't let you," Hisoka growled, flipping Killua over to kiss him properly. Killua whined, but didn't push Hisoka away, trying his best to kiss him back.
When they parted, Killua was bright red and out of breath again, while Hisoka just looked pleased.
"Ugh! Why are you always so good at kissing!" Killua huffed.
"I'll teach you from now on, for many many years," Hisoka cooed. "Why don't you try calling me sensei?"
"You perverted bastard!" Killua grabbed a pillow, pushing it against Hisoka's face, laughing.

XP: At first I was just going to put (insert steamy shower scene with your imagination), but decided that it can be really cute and hot even without a sex scene :) I hope you guys enjoyed that! As usual, suggestions are open, so if you have any idea or scenes you want to see, I'll try to insert it into the story. I would appreciate your help!
