"Ms. July?" Came the tentative voice from the doorway.

A frustrated sigh escaped from the blonde's mouth as she continued her gyrations, her lips pursed into a line of concentration. "I'm working." She intoned in a half growl as she tried to keep her mind from wandering over to where the brunette stood.

"I.. I wanted to apologize-" The annoying nineteen year old began. Cass ignored her her mind concentrating on her stretches.

"Look. You lost it and you lashed out. Same as I did ten years ago. Except, all it took for you to snap was a little honest feedback and excuse me, dance class. And you expect to make it on broadway? Where all there is is scrutiny and judgement? And what if someone taped you a little earlier? And posted it on the internet? You'd never get cast...You have one chance... You screw it up... You're done...You're that crazy actress...And why would anybody want to work with you?" The leggy blonde said as she moved across the room, in front of her smaller mirror to do some floor stretches.

"You were good-"

"I was great." Cass cut Rachel off as she did a half split and motioned Rachel to come closer. "But it doesn't make a difference, cause I wasn't ready for the pressure. Believe me.. It's a WHOLE lot more vicious out there than it is in here, that's why I pick on my students. I want them to be ready..." She said as she bent down low and let Rachel assist her with her stretches.

The moment the brunette's hands touched her back, however, her heart did a weird little stutter jump and she practically had to bite her lower lip to keep from reacting. Her mind scattered. What had she been saying? What was her point?

A look in the mirror revealed that Rachel was feeling the sparks between them too. She stood up, facing the brunette who stepped back to allow the dance instructor room. Cassandra's eyes sparked as she stepped closer, bearing Rachel no room. "You're not ready, and if I had it my way you wouldn't return to my classroom... yet." She said softly, staring down into Rachel's eyes.

She could feel the air being sucked into Rachel's gasp as the brunette's lovely brown eyes dropped to Cassandra's lips. "You're dismissed." The blonde said finally, a smirk crossing her lips.

Rachel stuttered her gratitude as she slipped out of the room and Cassandra rolled her shoulders before going over to her bag to grab the tequila out once more.

The girl would be the death of her.
