Sam and Gabriel had been engaged for a few months before they decided to throw an engagement party in their yard. Dean and Cas helped them decorate and set up everything, they had been to almost everyone's place they knew to gather enough chairs to make a few rows of seating. Gabriel had ordered flowers, and Cas felt the whole thing seemed a bit more like a wedding than an engagement.

He said as much to Dean, but his boyfriend was convinced that they would put more planning into their wedding, and that he doubted it would be in their backyard. Castiel still wasn't convinced though, especially as the day arrived along with the well-dressed guests.

Most of the people from Sam and Gabriel's house warming party were there to celebrate the happy occasion. They were also joined by friends who lived out of the area, such as; Charlie, Garth, Benny, Bella, Donna and Jody. Everyone mingling and catching up, talking about how nice the yard looked.

Inside the house, Sam and Gabriel were in their room helping each other into suits, kissing and giggling (maybe a little groping).

When they were both finished dressing, the couple looked into each other's eyes and Gabe reached for Sam's hand, he kissed the knuckles and smiled "You ready, Sammy?"

"I've been ready for months, Gabe, I can't wait to ma-"

From down stairs a voice interrupted "Are you guys ready yet? Everyone is here!"

"I love my brother, but he seriously needs better timing." Sam told his fiancé before shouting back to Dean that they would be down in a minute.

The couple came down the stairs hand in hand and grinning. Dean and Cas were at the bottom waiting "You guys look great!" The older Winchester announced and proceeded to hug his brother then his friend, Cas did the same and then they all walked out to the yard together.

There was a raised platform in front of the seating which Sam and Gabe utilised to stand on to gather attention. A microphone and speaker had been set up next to the platform, Gabe picked up the microphone "Hello everyone!" Gabriel called to their friends and family, having to make an entrance "Thank you all for coming, if everyone could take a seat, we have a surprise to announce."

Some people were already sitting, but most people found a seat quickly. Music had started playing softly and an unknown person had come up onto the platform with Sam and Gabe.

"So, as you all know, this is supposed to be an engagement party, well, SURPRISE! We are actually going to get married right here and now. This is our marriage celebrant; Kate, and yeah, we are going to start our ceremony now, so speak now or forever hold your peace." Gabriel announced bubbling with excitement, much like Sammy next to him.

There were a few shocked gasps and a couple of outbursts of approval, but no one objected, and so the ceremony began. Kate started with an official opening and then asked Dean and Castiel to come and stand by their brothers as they had been chosen as the best men. She continued going through the normal spiel, and then it was time for vows and rings.

Ellen was already wiping away tears, and Dean would swear he saw Bobby sniffle.

Kate then announced "I now pronounce you husband and husband, you may kiss."

The moment the married couple's lips touched, there was a roar of clapping, whistling, cheering and a sob of joy from Ellen. Everyone had stood and made their way to the newlyweds to congratulate them. The first though was their brothers, who gave them the hugest hugs, expressing how happy they were for the married couple. No one was surprised that Ellen was next, hugging them tight and sniffling "Oh, boys."

However, everyone was very surprised when Bobby drew in both men and hugged them, telling them how proud he was and he wished them all the best.

All the other guests proceeded to hug Sam and Gabriel, wishing them the best and saying how sneaky they were to spring it on everyone.

After that was finished, Sam and Gabe thanked Kate and she left, meaning it was time for food, music and partying. The chairs had been cleared to the fence line to make room for people to dance, which they started to do; Andy, Pamela, Jody, Garth and Donna were the first ones up.

Dean went inside to grab some food for him and Cas, but turned straight back around when he found Bobby pushed up against the side of the fridge, being thoroughly kissed (and groped) by Crowley.

"What happened to getting some food?" Cas queried upon Dean's return without any food.

"You can go get some if you want, but I'm going to wait until Bobby and Crowley stop sucking face in the kitchen, I just walked in on it." Dean needed brain bleach.

Castiel chuckled and kissed Dean's cheek, "Would you like to dance instead?"

"Sure." Dean smiled and led his boyfriend towards the other people dancing.

They spent a while dancing and then Sam got up on the platform and told everyone to gather around "Even though we didn't have flowers in the ceremony, Gabe and I thought it would be a bit of fun to throw a bouquet each anyway, so here goes…"

They both turned around and threw their bouquets behind them into the crowd. Immediately they turned around to see who had caught the flowers. The first couple they saw was Bobby holding Gabriel's bouquet and Crowley smirking with amusement while Bobby blushed "Don't get any ideas." The mechanic warned.

"Wouldn't dream of it love." Crowley replied, a sneaky butt pinch caused the mechanic to jump a little.

Gabe and Sam laughed and looked for the other bouquet, and of course they should have known. Castiel stood shyly in the crowd holding Sam's flowers, Dean next to him, a surprised look on his face.

It took Dean a few moments to process it, but then he smiled "Well, Cas, what do you think?"

Cas looked at him confused "What do you mean?"

Dean chuckled "I mean, Castiel, that I knew you were special the moment I met you, I mean that I love you, I mean that I know there is no one else I would rather spend the rest of my life with. What I mean, Cas, is that I just realised I want to marry you."

Everyone waited with baited breath for Castiel to answer "I-I…Dean I feel the same, this is so sudden but I know that it's what I want. I want to marry you also."

Cheering broke out and from the platform Gabe spoke "Well, looks like this is an engagement party after all. Congrats guys!"

Dean and Cas weren't listening though, they were too busy engrossed in each other, and they still would be for many years to come.

Hey guys, so it has been forever since I updated this fic, and like over three years since I started it, so I felt like it was time to end it. This is the last chapter, its probably not what you were expecting or anything, so I'm sorry for lack of quality and what not, but anyway, I just want to thank everyone who reviewed and favourited and read it. Thanks for baring with me. Much love xox

Ps. If anyone is interested, I have nearly completed writing a multichapter Balcifer (Lucifer/Balthazar) fic, which I will be starting to post probably next month (I decided to finish the fic before posting any so shit like this doesn't happen and it goes on for three-four years, cause I know its annoying and I am really sorry). Anyway, be on the lookout if you're interested.
