Candace sighed deeply. Phinias was absolutely downtrodden ever since Isabella was diagnosed with a serious illness. Isabella at only age 12 had a serious form of cancer in her bones. They may have to take her leg. Even if they did she might not survive. Candace loved her brothers and hated to see one of them cry.

Candace went over to her brother.

"You've got to be kidding me," she said to him.

"What do you mean Candace," Phinas asked looking at her confused.

"Phinias who was the one that made a mix, match, mingler machine?"

"Ferb and I," Phinas said.

"Who made a super computer"

"Ferb and I"

"Robot dog?"

"Ferb and I," Phinas said

"And the giant bowling ball... who did that one?"

"Ferb and I," Phinas said.

"Roller coaster?"

"Ferb and I," Phinas said

"Who organized the robo rodeo?"

"That was me," Phinas said sighing.

"And the chariot race? Who did that one?"

"Ferb and I," Phinas said

"Race for the sun?"

"Ferb and I," Phinas said

"Rocket to the stars?"

"Ferb and I," Phinas said

"What about the time machine to the past and to the future?"

"Ferb and I," Phinas said

"The haunted house?"

"Ferb and I," Phinas said

"Okay and finally who invented the Beak"

"Me," Phinas said.

"Who is the best of the best," Candace asked.

"Candace it's not that simple," Phinas pointed out.

"WHO is the best of the best," Candace asked again.

"Me," Phinas admitted.

"So basically you do all of these incredible things and you can't come up with something to fix Isabella?"

"Candace-"

"NO," Candace said, "Look Phinas you have never given up on me. You have always been there for me no matter what. I haven't been a good big sister all the time. I've messed up so much. But you know what? You fixed everything for me. You fixed my phone. You fixed my relationship with Jeremy. When I was in the wrong place it was you who got me out of it."

"That was easy," Phinias said.

"You went through **** for me," Candace said, "You never gave up on me and I'm NOT going to let you give up on Isabella either. Are we clear?"

"But-"

"Are we clear," Candace repeated.

Phinias smiled. He knew that his sister loved him and he knew that she was right. If he could invent a time machine he could make Isabella better.

"You may not have the same understanding you had 'a lifetime ago' but you're still the same person you always have been," Candace said.

"Ferb," Phinas said looking at him, "Candace I know what we're going to do today"
