Here we are. And it only took almost five years. I'm both ecstatically happy I got this story all the way to the end, and incredibly sad that I can't work on what is my most popular and successful story any more. As promised, here is A Chance Encounter's final chapter: Perfection.

Cammy awoke and immediately became aware of Rose's warm body holding her close.

'We're getting married!' It took all of Cammy's self control to not upturn their sleeping position and instead opted to grin like an idiot. Snuggling deeper into the embrace, she only got more and more excited at the prospect of spending her life with Rose.

'It's too much!' At this point Rose's bride-to-be was giggling uncontrollably.

"Rose!" Poke. Poke. "Rose!" Poke.

"Mmmnnnnnnnaaaghhh..."

Poke. Cammy had turned and was now facing her partner with a wide smile. She watched as Rose's eyes slowly opened. "Someone's happy." They met with a quick kiss.

"Marriage is to be celebrated." Cammy's comment brought a smile to Rose's face too.

"We will tonight. I'm glad everyone got the time off for this, it means a lot that Juri and Chun-Li will be there." Rose pulled Cammy in once again, gently stroking her long, loose hair. "It's great that you and Juri are doing well now."

"Yeah...she stopped fighting and training full stop didn't she?"

"Yes." Rose gave Cammy's shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "She'll pick it up again." Cammy frowned and averted her gaze.

"Will her eye be ok though?"

Rose chuckled, patting the Brit's head.

"Bet you never thought you'd worry about Juri's well-being eh?"

"Well...no." Blonde hair was stroked as the Brit bit her lip a little, choosing her words carefully. "I...think that if we ever got her under bars that I'd have tried to rehabilitate her with Chun-Li. I always imagined it like Juri would be a tough nut to crack, but we'd eventually get through to her. But now that I know the reality...I do care."

"It's a weird old journey Pet," The bed shifted as Rose sat up. Cammy was pulled to a seated position by her. "But I think it's only good from here on out. Juri should be ok."

"Thanks Rose." The two embraced for a moment before a petite body pulled away to step onto the floor. "OW!" An immediate recoil after trying to get out of the bed was followed by sore-foot-grasping. "Rose clean this mess! I've just impaled my foot on one of your ornaments!"

A chuckle and a happy shake of the head was the response.

'Married life is going to be great!'

"Chunny!" Juri was propping herself up on her arms above her partner, breathing right into her face. "Chunny!" She tried again upon receiving no response. Chun-Li stirred. "CHUNNY!"

"AGH!" A fist was halted just a few centimetres from Juri's face. "What the hell Juri?!" She sat up and watched as Juri fell to the floor, creased up in laughter. Her shirt and purple pajama bottoms picked up a few hairs and dirt as she rolled around.

"I needed to wake you up," Juri ripped the blanket out of Chun-Li's grasp and smiled widely. "We've got a wedding to attend tonight!" A sigh was the response, followed by a smile and a shake of the head.

"You could've been a bit nicer about it...waaah!" Juri had leaped onto the bed, clutching Chun-Li tightly. Several creaks and bounces later, Chun-Li pecked Juri's cheek and shoved her away.

"Where'd be the fun in that?" She pulled away to stretch and stand up. A loud yawn escaped the Korean as she messed with her hair. She pulled it to the side, almost mimicking a ponytail. Chun-Li took that moment to appreciate the woman she knew to be so different, and proven to be a worthy partner. A slight adjustment of her night clothes that consisted of a simple T-shirt and panties to allow her to breathe before she sat up.

'I'm glad things turned out this way.'

"Juri." Said person turned back and fluttered her eyes.

"Yes, Chunny?"

"Come here." The light pat that followed drew the standee. Juri wandered over. She sat down on the bed, genuinely concerned at the tone Chun-Li gave her.

"What is it?"

"You get to feel stinky again!"

"HEY!" Juri stared indignantly as Chun-Li jumped into the shower and locked the door. "THE OFFER OF ME JOINING YOU STILL STANDS!"

...Click. The lock undid, much to the black-head's delight.

'I love that woman!'

"What shall we buy? Probably shouldn't have left the clothes shopping to the final day..." Gentle hands toyed with usually pigtailed hair, mostly messing around. From in front of the buxom, purple haired delight Cammy sighed happily. The bath water was very warm, and Rose's careful hands were relaxing. A slosh of water to lean back into her partner's body more made Cammy even more content.

"Ahh...you know, we did agree for it to be casual." Index fingers prodded one another. Ms. White really did not mind what was worn; the actual wedding was what mattered to her. "Let's just get some smart, nice clothes Petal. I think Chun-Li is just going to wear some sort of party dress. It's fine to wear whatever," She paused to turn to face her lover, "You know?"

"Aha!" Lips met as Rose chuckled. "Ok, ok. Let's not be picky." Cammy turned away once again, happy to be hugged from behind. They sat in content silence for a little while. "We'll buy exactly what you want..." Rose nipped Cammy's ear playfully. The reciprocation was a gentle squeeze on the leg. The Brit's tiny hand admired the strength there for a moment before arriving at a conclusion.

"Rose?"

"Yes, Pet?"

"You're still cleaning up."

"Aw..."

"What the hell do we wear to the most casual wedding ever?" Black hair, worn down and loose shook about as Juri swung her head back and forth. She was taking in all the choices of clothing with little regard for the public. Those who knew of her partner weren't as familiar with her ex-target, so they received many odd looks.

Chun-Li was used to it at this point though. She shrugged in response.

"Anything except what we're currently wearing I guess." A quick glance down confirmed her thought. Jeans and a loose jumper of sorts wasn't appropriate in the slightest. "Yeah, especially not what you've got on." A cheeky glint in a pair of eyes greeted Chun-Li's watchful sight. The Korean (casually, of course) leaned forward to expose her breasts to Chun-Li more.

"What's wrong with a v-neck shirt?" Juri pushed her chest out to emphasise her point. "It's not like people wear this at weddings just to distract their partner or anything!" A rolling of eyes was the response.

"Very funny. This is a very special time for Cammy and Rose, so get serious for today." A shrug.

"You're right..." The duo silenced then, focused on finding good clothing for the evening. As Juri fingered her way through the never-ending mass of clothes she took to pondering what it would be like.

'It'll be cool to see those two actually get married. Will it take a long time? I hope not, it's just a little place on a roof and it'll be cold. Food, wine and some laughs. Been too long since I had those...' Violent shudders drew her thoughts back to her S.I.N days, the things she had to do. She shook those thoughts away as she came across a particular set of clothing.

"Chunny!" Juri held up this clothes set and grew happy at the smile she received.

"Perfect!"

"That one!"

"Rose-"

"Ooh, no that one!"

"Rose!" The shorter of the pair was being dragged around like a sack of potatoes. Her partner's excitement was not to be contained. "For someone with a lot of useless ornaments are you really that excited about clothes?"

"Pet," Rose sighed and chuckled at the same time, taking the petite fighter's hands in her own. "It's not the clothes...it's what they represent." Stares were being drawn through the various P.D.A's at work, like hand holding, couple-y discussions and the fact both ladies were semi-famous in their own rights. Cammy was painfully aware in stark contrast to the fortune-teller's blissful ignorance. Still, she looked her lover in the eyes in pure happiness at the genuine love displayed there.

"One night to bind us," A lopsided lazy smile crossed pink lips which made the Italian's smile grow wider in turn. "It is pretty special."

"It's the most special night of my life!" The loud proclamation did not go unnoticed by the public and was quickly quietened by Cammy's hushes.

"Let's find something appropriate!"Cammy relented. Rose's excitement was infectious to her, it was too pure and innocent. They both searched the store for the perfect thing to wear. They meandered up and down, up and down aisle upon aisle.

"Pet," Rose stopped abrubtly switching her gaze to her partner's face.

"Yes?"

"What if..." Rose murmured her idea and Cammy brightened even more.

"Perfect!"

"That was a perfect buy!" Juri skipped happy circles around Chun-Li, much to the Chinese woman's frustration. Brown eyes directed themselves toward the bag the other person was swinging wildly.

"Suit shirts and regular black trousers was an awkwardly reasonable approach from you, Juri."

"Weddings are serious business," A shrug. "It's not fair of me to ruin their special day with my antics. Besides!" Juri jumped next to Chun-Li and stretched her arm over to said person's shoulder. "There'll be plenty of other days in which to do that!" Giggles were shared and a quick squeeze from the Korean.

"How mature! You should be that more often." Soft lips curled upwards in a joking manner.

"But then you wouldn't love me, Chunny. You need me to be all childish and stuff."

"True. Thanks though, I'm glad this day means as much to you as it does to me." The duo traipsed on in a moment of silence. Chun-Li's head was filled with how the evening would go whereas Juri's were more occupied on the fact something seemed wrong. Purple eyes roved the streets in a effort to pinpoint it.

"We've only got a couple of hours until we have to get ready. Let's get a move on." Chun-Li grabbed Juri's hand and tugged her along in unbridled excitement. As she was dragged along she mentally shrugged.

'I'll work out what's wrong later.'

"Well, how does it look?" Rose had gotten dressed in her article of their matching clothes. Curious eyes took in every detail, every crease, every fold. Eventually they settled on the taller woman's beaming face and Cammy's heart melted.

"Amazing. The flower is a nice touch." Black frills with a single plastic orange rose sat in the breast pocket completed a dark ensemble for Rose herself.

"A black wedding dress is an original idea." Petite hands strongly took hold of Rose's own and gently held them up.

"It's perfect..." Cammy sighed a little in utter contentment. "Just a couple of hours...I can't believe it."

"Hmmm." The Italian pushed her future wife away and regained her excited eye glint. "Get changed! I want to see how it looks on you!" The duo shared a quick grin. Getting changed was a hurried affair as Cammy was just as eager as her other half to see the result. Within moments the pair was stood next to each other, each with an arm wrapped around their partner's waist. They gazed into the mirror with loving grins.

Two black dresses, two sets of frills and the orange rose flower in each breast pocket made them look absolutely perfect for each other. Sleeves reached just past their elbows, the frilly material feeling oh so soft against their skin. Eyes met then, and Rose leaned down to peck Cammy's cheek.

"We made a good choice," A clipped british accent cut the air. "I wonder what Chun-Li and Juri will wear..." This was met with a chuckle.

"I'm sure it will be something nice!"

"That suit looks ironically good on you." Juri's soft voice took Chun-Li by mild surprise before she reminded herself that Juri was on good behaviour today. She turned to face the Korean, preening a little. She smoothed her suit down with a nice casual smile.

"You too. Dressing smart really fits you, you know." The two studied each other. Simple grey suits designed for maximum smartness possessed a vertical lined pattern. The white contrasted the grey nicely, and spread all the way to the sleeves. Buttons were fiddled with to be flawlessly arranged parallel to one-another. Jet black trousers completed the look.

"This business look kind of seems fitting huh?" Juri poked at the suit. "It's also casual with the way we're wearing it. Cufflinks are for posh, pretentious people!"

"No ties required," Chinese lips curled in a light smirk. "I think we chose well. I can't wait to see Cammy and Rose get married!" She took notice of Juri blinking repeatedly. "What's up?" A few more blinks and Juri shook her head.

"Not sure...something seems off. Can't pin down what it is...anyway." A grin. "You look amazing, I look amazing yadda yadda yadda. Let's get going!" Chun-Li allowed herself to be pulled out the door by her excited lover, submitting a smirk to the situation. Juri's childlike excitement was so contrary to her persona it was almost unbelievable.

'I wouldn't have it any other way.'

"We're here!" Cammy checked the notes she'd written and after a few moments of inspection she nodded in satisfaction. "Yep, definitely the right place."

Entry to the building was a hurried affair. It had taken hours of toiling and scouring the internet to find the perfect place. Eventually they settled on what they were currently in; a simple building. It consisted of a reception area, an upstairs room that was nice and spacious and finally a wide open area that could only be defined as an outside room. It had several chairs, a four foot brick wall around the rim to prevent people falling off and a fancy lighting scheme. The overhead warm lights created a very nice centre area for various activities. On the website it had been described as 'a great outdoor party area.'

The married-couple-to-be had agreed that this would be the best place for their unofficial marriage.

"I think that if we do an official marriage at the registry office," Rose had said whilst chewing on a nail thoughtfully, "We can have Chun-Li and Juri wed us. I think that would mean a lot more to me than a huge wedding."

Cammy had agreed. The end result was them making their way up the stairs to wait for their friends. A quick rush to the side door that led to their destination invoked excited tremors from two pairs of stomachs.

"I can't believe it..." Long arms pulled the short Brit into the owner's body. The embrace was returned willingly. They stepped out into the cool night, relishing in the atmosphere. The lighting was a perfect fit for the lower area in which the two women would get wedded by their friends. The upper area had a little seating with a couple of tables. Small bowls of treats and bottles of wine and wine glasses greeted eager eyes.

"It's perfect..." Cammy lightly fingered her pigtailed hair. She embraced her partner tightly enough for Rose to chuckle.

"Let me breathe, Pet. It is perfect, and I can't wait myself." Conversation was cut short by distant voices gradually approaching their location.

"-Happy for them and I can't belie-oh!" Chun-Li Xiang cut herself short upon noticing their company had beaten them there. "Cammy! Rose!" Long legs propelled her into a group hug. Laughter was shared as Juri brought up the rear, chortling.

"Hey girls!" Juri's dry voice cut through the air as they all pulled apart. "Nice get up for a wedding! Black dresses? Aha, that's a new one!"

"They're really nice, I think." Chun-Li smiled reassuringly.

"Suits. Very...fitting." Rose chuckled. " I didn't expect any less from you two!"

"We look good, right? Right?" Juri ran circles around the group excitedly. To her, this would be an incredible night.

Not quite half as incredible for the spouses-to-be though. The excited woman received several chuckles in response with murmurs of agreement echoing from the group.

"You look great." Warm smiles were shared before Cammy clapped her hands lightly. Soft, glazed eyes switched between the suited pair repeatedly as she spoke.

"I'd just like to thank you for doing this for us. It means a lot and we're as happy as we could be that it's you to wed us."

"Aww! It's ok Cammy," Chun-Li pulled her long time friend in for a hug. "We're happy we can do this for you!"

Cool air was drawn deeply by a black-haired observer. It was almost overwhelming that she could achieve this sort of happiness. All odds were against her, but beating S.I.N, meeting her partner and seeing the scene in front of her set off a jolt of excitement.

It was worth it.

"Come on you lovebirds!" Juri pushed Rose toward her short lover who in turn pulled away from Chun-Li. "Go get married!" Giggles were shared before Chun-Li coughed pointedly.

"Juri, I think you should do the honours." Murmurs of agreement were shared as Juri fidgeted.

"Uh...really?" Vigourous nods. A grin crossed everyone's face as Juri complied. She stepped to the edge of the lighting and motioned to the centre. The imminent spouses got the message and linked hands eagerly stepping to be bathed by the warm, yellow glow. Juri cleared her throat.

"I don't have any speech prepared or anything, so how do you wanna do this?" Rose broke down in stitches, completely laughing her heart out. Cammy giggled and even Chun-Li laughed and wiped her eyes. "What?"

"Just go with the flow!" Rose wiped her eyebrows and smoothed invisible creases on her dress.

"Ok ok..." Another quick clearing of her throat and an awkward pause ensued. "We...we're here because two people found each other. They love each other greatly...this is quite clear." The speaker nervously glanced at Cammy and Rose looking her way with their hands once again interlinked. Her gaze swept over to Chun-Li who was watching from the side. A nod of encouragement was received gratefully.

"We are thankful for a love like this...anyone who is lucky enough to find it should cherish it." Purple and brown eyes met.

'She's also referring to us...' Chun-Li squirmed a little. The night was perfect for this, clear open sky, stars and friends and a lover too.

"I think I speak for both myself and Chun-Li when I say we hope you two stay together for the rest of your lives." Juri focused her vision on the lovers in front of her as they shared an excited kiss and it twigged. What had been bothering her twigged. She took a deep breath, now even more excited and hyped up herself. With new-found confidence, she spoke out louder.

"You're perfect for each other. We wish you the best you can possibly have." All attention was given to the speaker. All four occupants were shivering with pure, unchecked excitement. "You'll enjoy many, many happy years together. We'll be by your side the whole time. You deserve happiness. You deserve each other." There was a brief moment of silence as tension built up.

"You'll be great together..." Juri wiped a singular tear from her left eye. "I pronounce you wife and wife!"

The deepest kiss they had shared took place. Cammy and Rose White embraced each other with all their strength. Their lips tingled as they slowly pulled apart and rested their foreheads together. Hot, heavy breath was felt by each.

"I love you..." Rose whispered gently, clutching her wife.

"I love you too." Lips met again, but this time they both had tears in their eyes.

Juri and Chun-Li stood, arms wrapped around the other's shoulder. Juri wiped a few tears away whilst Chun-Li smiled ever so gently.

"I didn't think you had this sort of emotion, Juri." Chun-Li pulled Juri's arm away from her face to inspect the now wet arm of the suit. The darker brown was replaced by her partner's face as Juri forcibly turned her.

"Chun...I...my eye..."

"What is it?"

"I...it's...it's perfect." Chun-Li now broke into tears.

"It's perfect? You can see?" Laboured breath escaped her as tears flowed. "I'm happy. I'm happy!" Juri pulled her in tightly. Their crying echoed a little as Rose and Cammy watched. They pulled apart and Juri took in all the details now she realised her eye was finally complete. The sharp edges, the clear light. Proper depth perception. Colours.

"Nothing...nothing makes me happier than seeing you guys married and seeing it properly..." Juri fell to her knees with overwhelming emotion as the group all comforted her.

"Thank you, Juri." Rose spoke solemnly and met Juri's eyes. "Thank you for wedding us."

One left eye twitched a little as Juri saw Rose's face perfectly and flawlessly for the first time. She worked up a smile as happiness consumed her. 'She has a nice smile..nice hair...'

"It was my pleasure...Rose White. And thank you, Chunny. It's thanks to you I ever got to see this happen." Juri looked up to the stars and counted her blessings as Cammy, Rose and Chun-Li cuddled with and looked up with her.

They would enjoy many, many years together.
