Yo! How's it going? *laughs nervously* I have a tough month and anxiety won't leave me. It was hell... but at least I managed to write this, yeah? I changed my username because my sister is evil. She wanted to bash this story and see how you'll react. I told her nothing will happen since I think it's impossible but I still did change it for safety measures. Who knows what will happen :3

Special thanks to AstridClaire and hatterlymad!

ENJOY!

Takao looked long and hard to his friend, Midorima Shintarou. He barely blinks when another ball perfectly went inside the hoop. He continued to stare at him and Midorima, being impatient and not in the mood to be amused with his antics, find it rather distracting and annoying.

"What is it that you want?" he said, annoyed, and turned his head to glared at him.

Takao pouted his lip a little as he placed his hands at the back of his head, "I'm bored."

An angry vein popped in Midorima's head, "Go bother someone else."

"But they'll be leaving already!"

"Seirin is not the only person in this world idiot."

"Tch. Fine, fine," he waved his hand and moved his feet on the way to the door. Takao pause mid-way and grinned, "Ne, how about we play bas—"

"Get lost, Takao."

"Stingy…"

Yuki has always tried her very best to look at the bright side of things. She is not overly optimistic but she does her best to smile if only not too worry anyone.

That's exactly what she wants to do...but even she found herself having a hard time smiling nonchalantly.

"Yuki! Yuki! Come on! Play with me!"

She closed her eyes, letting the small, morning breeze brushed her bangs. She had a rather strange dream last night, something that concerns a painful memory. It is quite blurry but for all she could remember, she saw someone who looks like her. She remembered a familiar bright opal eyes that gleamed merrily towards her, a childish grin that was only reserve for her and small hands that desperately tried to reach for her. She dreadfully wanted to reach back, grab it and never let it go but as always, like any other dream she had, she failed, always failed. And the only person she knew who has the same resemblance as her is…

Takao walked aimlessly on the empty hallway as he let out a long and heavy sigh. He's bored to death and their coach, much to their dismay, decided to start their practice at noon when the sun is damn high and will burn their skin until they turn crispy and red.

He turned the corner and his eyes immediately caught the sight of white hair dancing with the winds in the engawa. There's only one person he knows who has that long snow-like hair and he walked closer as quietly as he can to confirm his thoughts.

Once there, Takao took in the sight of Hyuga Yuki bathed in the morning glow of the sun, he watched as she breathes evenly and her brows furrowed as if something is bad happening inside her head. One thing he confirmed though, she's not asleep. So he guess its fine to mess with her for a bit.

He snickered when an idea popped in his mind.

"Guess who!"

A large, calloused hand covered her still closed eyes and Yuki jumped, not expecting someone to surprise her from behind. She instinctively touched the arm of her captor and gripped it as hard as she could. She heard a hiss of pain and the man removed his hand, cussing silently then he said.

"What's that for?!"

Yuki slightly turned around, looking amused, "Kazunari-kun… so it's you."

"Your strength is unbelievable!"

"Ri-chan taught me self-defence…" she frowned, eyeing his slightly bruised arm in concern. "I-I'm sorry."

He shook his hand off carelessly, letting it slide; he has more important things to take care of rather than his bruised arm. "Nah, it's alright. It's not broken." He said as he took a sit beside her, resting his elbows on his knees, he leaned forward, "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be leaving?"

"Ri-chan is still busy talking to your coach so I decided to stay here for a while." She answered and resumed closing her eyes.

The inn's engawa is one of the places she could relax this past two days. Sometimes, Takeda-sensei would join her and they would drink a cup of tea together while they watch the green scenery with comforting silence. It was one of her remedy on her hellish period and she was quite disappointed to know that it will be her last day to this place.

Takao eyed Yuki's serene face silently with great fascination. No wonder his friend has fallen for her, she's beautiful in her own way and she's just being her, no make-ups or whatsoever. Sometimes, when he's watching her secretly, he could see the forced lift of her lips and the slight sadness of her opal eyes.

He's like Shin-chan… they are both sad deep inside.

He rested his cheek on his fisted hand and continued to stare closely on the resting girl. Feeling Takao's eyes on her, Yuki opened her eyes with a small blush. "Is… Is there something wrong?" she tilted her head and Takao only shook his head in response. He stood up, stretched his back and held out a hand on her. He grinned, "I'm sure your coach will take long. How about you help me with something?"

Yuki eyed him warily then to his hand. "Don't worry, it's not dangerous! I swear!" he laughed and snatched her hand and dragged her from her sit. He snickered, watching her cheeks turned pink to a healthy glow of red.

It's time to put his plan into action.

The ball went in perfectly as always.

The sound of the ball dropping on the floor echoes in the empty court. He breathed heavily, his sweat falling down his chin and he took another ball from the basket, aiming to shoot another ten balls on the hoop.

He poised himself in a shooting position, his stance perfect and flawless.

"Shin-chan!"

The door slammed open, revealing a suspiciously grinning Takao and a very flustered looking manager.

Sighing, he stood straight and placed the ball between his hip and arm, "What do you want?"

"Come on, Yuki-chan!" Takao tugged the girl's hand despite her protest and Midorima raised his eyebrows, confused on why the manager is still here.

Midorima rubbed his fingers to his forehead and asked again, "I'm going to repeat myself. What do you want?"

"Hehe, nothing," Takao said as he let go of Yuki's hand and stood near his tsundere friend. He looked at Yuki and waved a hand to her, urging for her to come near.

Yuki hesitated, eyeing the two with nervous gaze. Not knowing what to do, she walked towards them, aware of Midorima's piercing eyes on her every move. As she slowly neared the two, she didn't notice the cat-like glint in Takao's eyes and the sly smirk he is failing to hide.

Then everything turned into a blur.

Suddenly the white haired girl is on the floor, her body crashed into something hard and groaning in pain, "Oww…"

The raven haired point guard, Takao, snickered, "Good luck Shin-chan!"

And he left.

Finally returning to her senses, she placed a hand on the floor –or what she thought is the floor-, she squeaked lightly when she heard it grunt.

She looked up and blushed so red that even the tomatoes will get jealous of when she realized she crashed into Midorima Shintarou, "Oh dear! I'm sorry! I'm very s-sorry! I didn't know! I-It was an accident! I—"

"Just get off me."

"Ha-hai!"

Her hands tremble in nervousness as she placed it on the floor, she tried to get on her knees and stood up but luck seems to be not on her side because she slipped, falling again on Midorima's hard body.

Midorima grunted and Yuki moaned in pain when her face collided on his chest. He reeked of sweat but Yuki doesn't care, getting out of this embarrassing situation is more important.

Midorima is not pleased with this disastrous situation. The fact the he is a man and also has his urges is making things worse. The time Yuki's chest made contact with him, he knew, then and there, that if she's not going to get off on him as soon as possible, he will have to use force.

Yuki slightly lifted her head, her long hair splayed on the floor and his chest, "I-I'm so sorry…" she whimpered and raised her upper body. Midorima flinched when Yuki moved her knee and brushed the part between his inner thighs. Yuki, failing to notice Midorima's distress, was finally in all fours and moved her leg to the side.

Only when she's already kneeling beside him she did notice the red cheeks of Midorima. Thinking she must have hit him or something, she instantly put a hand to his cheeks, checking for bruise or wounds.

Midorima flinched, feeling the white-haired girl's cold fingers to his cheeks. Alarmed, he grabbed her wrist and sat up from his lying position and looked her dead in the eyes.

If she keeps on touching him without his permission…he's going to explode.

He narrowed his eyes, trying to intimidate her but neither the reaction she was making is not what he expected nor what he wanted. He wanted see Yuki's fear in her eyes not the pink hues staining her cheeks.

"Y-you're to-too c-close…." She whispered, afraid that if she talks loud or god forgive her, scream like a maniac, Midorima will torn her into shreds or for the worst part, kill her! She's exaggerating, she's aware, but she can't keep a cool head when the man she respected is too close for her comfort that if she move her lips to speak more, even for a little, their lips will meet!

"Midorima-kun."

Midorima reacted instantly when a familiar voice called his name. He backed away and removed his grasp to Yuki's wrist.

Yuki turned sharply on the door and her eyes widened like saucers, paling when she saw the person she dreadfully didn't want to see in this kind of situation.

"Te-T-Tetsuya-kun! T-This is—"

She was cut off when Kuroko grabbed her wrist and removed her from Midorima. He placed himself between them, acting like a shield and Midorima, appalled, find this quite amusing when he saw the possessive glint Kuroko immediately hid behind his blank expression.

"P-Please don't be mad at him! I-It was my fault! I t-tripped and run into him and—"

"You don't have to explain yourself," Midorima said, pushing his glasses up.

Kuroko blankly stared at him and unconsciously tightened his grip on Yuki. If Midorima is going to be honest, the Kuroko standing in front of him right now is frightening. Other people might say that Kuroko looks unaffected with what happened but him, who knows him since middle school, it's the opposite of it. He's calm on the outside but inside, he never knows. He's the type of person who never shows his true feelings except when it comes to basketball.

"Let's go Yuki-san. They are waiting for us."

Before she could even answer, Kuroko was already holding her hand and pulled her beside him as they leave the door. Yuki shoot Midorima an apologetic look only for him to look away. She didn't fail to notice his reddening cheeks.

Midorima slumped himself on the floor again. Lots of possible thoughts run through his mind, of what might happen and what he must have done. He touched the part where Yuki's fingers touched him.

He felt pathetic and he felt like he lost to Kuroko again.

He mentally noted himself to kill Takao later.

There is this awkward atmosphere radiating inside the bus. It was thick and Riko started feeling this atmosphere when Kuroko and Yuki returned after she asked him to find Yuki. When they came back, she noted the unusual small frown of Kuroko –she could barely see it actually but it still there, she just knew it- and the slight glossiness of Yuki's eyes. There is still her ever perpetual blush but what made her curious is that, their actually holding hands. She would have squeal like a crazy fangirl but the heavy atmosphere stopped her from tackling Yuki to the ground with her love.

Riko tugged Izuki's shirt who is standing beside her, "Ne, what do you think is going on with those two?" she whispered and Junpei joined too, leaning forward to hear what they're saying. He adjusted Yuki's naginata (it's covered with cloth) to his side as he listened.

Izuki eyes twinkled, "Don't worry. Their love has yet to come." He said and brings out a koi fish out of nowhere. (Trans: Shinpai iranai. Futari no koi wa mada konai)

Junpei's brow twitched, "Shut up Izuki."

"I don't need your puns! And where the he'll did you even get THAT?!" Riko exclaimed.

Izuki laughed and Riko, annoyed, punched him in the gut.

Yuki fidgeted beside Kagami, her eyes glancing on Kuroko every now and then. Heaving out a sigh, she took out her phone and typed some message. She tapped Kagami's shoulder and showed her phone to him.

'Do you think Tetsuya-kun is mad?'

"Wha—"Yuki quickly covered his mouth and pointed at her phone. Understanding her message, he took her phone and types his answer.

'Annoyed but not mad. Why?'

Kagami felt Yuki leaned over his shoulder and shot her a look on the corner of his eyes. He cringed when he saw the crestfallen face of Yuki. What the hell happened between those two anyway?

Yuki grabbed her phone and sighed heavily. She planted her face on his shoulder and muttered something he could only here.

"It's my fault."

Kagami blinked and frowned at Kuroko who is sitted in front of them. He noticed Kuroko's behaviour ever since this morning. Kuroko is a quiet person but his silence this time is disturbing.

Maybe it's what they called 'The calm before the storm'.

"Don't think too much about it," Kagami murmured, placing his cheek on top of her head, "That idiot cannot resist you," he joked and grinned when he successfully returned the color of her face.

"Geez, t-this is a serious m-matter!"

He chuckled, "Yeah, yeah."

"But thank you…for c-comforting me," she smiled softy and closed her eyes.

"Anytime."

I got traumatized for writing 4k above words. It's like everytime I write something so long, people gets bored. I became disheartened. *sigh* No KisexOC but there will be next chapter, the fluff is unavoidable and shocking and something Yuki has to think about so don't worry about it.

Question everyone!

-What should Yuki call Murasakibara?-

Please give him a nickname! The truth is, I'm lazy typing his name :3 it's long! And about Yuki's dream, *coughs* I think it's time to show her life since she's the protagonist here. There will be many surprises for the next chapter! Woooo!

THANKS FOR READING AND PLEASE REVIEW!
