Two years later here is the final chapter! So sorry guys but thank you to those of you who kept hoping and waiting for more to come. This focuses on acceptance and as such its more about Ron and Hermione than Harry and Oliver but it ties up a lot of loose ends and closes out this story. I don't know if I will ever write more of these two but if I do it'll show up on my profile so keep an eye out! Love you all! ~Dray

Harry sighed happily and leaned against the common room door. The last seven hours had been absolutely amazing. Yeah it had started out like a bad day for a Saturday but in the end it had worked out better than he could have ever hoped. Now if it could continue on the upswing it had taken that would be great. He needed to talk to Hermione and Ron, and hopefully come out the other side with their friendship intact. Steeling himself with a deep breath he said the password and stepped into the common room. The weather was nice enough outside that for the most part the room was empty but Hermione and Ron were in their favorite comfy chairs talking quietly as they read through different books, Harry coughed quietly to let them know he had come back.

"Hi Harry." Hermione said, without looking up.

"Mate I'm sorry about how I reacted this morning." Ron declared, never one to dance around things and this time was no different. "I know you and Ginny don't work together, anyone with eyes can see that but I wanted you to be my brother."

Harry felt some of the weight in his chest lift. "Thanks Ron. We are brothers you know, maybe not in blood but blood isn't the only thing that makes a family." He said smiling as he gave him a hug.

Hermione huffed and eyed the two of them. "Well I still don't get it but if it makes you happy then I will try." She said, still a bit of a chill to her tone.

Harry tensed at her tone but decided to let it go for now, if she was willing to work on it he could let a few things slide for now. "Thank you for trying to accept it Hermione." He said, though it was obviously lacking the warmth and the hug he had given Ron. "I know its probably a lot to ask but I want you two to come with me to meet someone in Hogsmeade tonight."

"Someone? Like a potential boyfriend someone?" Ron asked, his tone a mix of teasing and shock.

"Yeah. I've liked him for a few years but I just recently realized that I crushliked him not just friend liked him." Harry said quietly, knowing this could really be a make it or break it moment.

"Well then count me in!" I can't let my brother date someone with out me approving of them can I?" Ron teased.

"I'm sorry Harry I can't. I'm not ready to accept this." Hermione said quietly, packing up her books and papers.

"I'm sorry Hermione but that's not fair. I've always listened to you, I watched you date others I didn't exactly approve of. All I'm asking for is one night to try and keep you involved in my life. And if you don't want to give me that then I think I'm going to have to call it quits. You've been against me too long for this to slide by the wayside, I'm done." Harry huffed, finding his strength in what Oliver had told him over the last few hours. Accepting that he had changed and couldn't expect old patterns to keep happening with different results. "Ron if you still want to go to dinner tonight meet me at the Three Broomsticks at seven thirty."

Ron nodded as his best friend turned and stalked up to their dorm, supposedly to get ready for dinner in an hour. Turning around he glowered at Hermione. "You are being fairly selfish you know. He's been through hell and it looks like he finally found someone who makes him happy and you are dismissing it like its nothing. So what if its a phase or forever. He is still our best friend and we should support him no matter what he chooses to do with his life. Would you react the same way if I said I wanted to fuck a dude?" Ron all but screamed at her, not noticing that the twins had walked in just in time to hear the last part of his question.

Hermione stared at him with her lip quivering before she turned and ran past the twins out of the room. She felt like this was first year all over again and she couldn't do anything right.

"Something you need to tell us Ron?" Fred asked laughing as he flopped into the chair Hermione had been sitting in.

"Yeah are you and Harry dating now?" George teased, sitting on the floor in front of Fred's chair.

"No!" Ron huffed taking his seat again. "I was reading though an old book from the library and I realized that wizards are more likely to be gay because of the way magic works to find the most compatible partner and I realized that no matter who he likes Harry is still Harry."

"Well done Ron." George said smiling.

"Yeah very grown up of you." Fred said.

"Well Hermione decided not to accept that and when she told Harry he decided not to accept her putting him down anymore. And then you walked in on me yelling at Hermione about it." Ron explained.

"Hermione will come around or she won't." Fred said with a shrug.

"Either way Harry is lucky to have a friend like you." George finished.

"Thanks." Ron said eyeing the twins curiously. It was rare to talk to them for this long without getting pranked.

"Any time." Fred said standing up.

"Go help Harry get ready for tonight, we have got to go talk to Lee about something." George said following Fred's lead.

Ron nodded, still curious what they were up to and made his way up the boys staircase. Today had been a weird day and it was probably only going to get weirder before it was over but weird was pretty normal to him after growing up in the wizarding world.
