Heyo. By all means, go ahead and read. But If you wish, I'd be glad to explain my ridiculously unacceptable absence. I have to be somewhat happy to write and be satisfied with what I've made. About 2 months after my last update, 2014 began. And it was the worst year of my entire life. Throughout the year, four of my family members died. Two of the deaths were unexpected while the other two we knew were coming. That didn't make it hurt any less. I was going to tell you the full story, but just understand that each death piled up, and the whole family was in turmoil. I figured out I was some kind of depressed when I realized I didn't really feel anything for a while. But with time, I've been happy again. So I present, A Sickening Plot Chapter 6! GOOOOO!

Obi-Wan felt his frustration building. He'd been searching for the Sith brothers with no luck. The two knew how to disguise their energies, and Jedi Master Obi-Wan was beginning to lose it. Anakin had three days left, and he was no closer to saving the knight's life. During his search, Ahsoka had contacted him once. Fortunately, Anakin had not woken up again. However, even the thought of his former padawan being so still disturbed Obi-Wan to the core. Obi-Wan was torn from his thoughts as the presence of the Dark Side enveloped him. Turning around, Obi-Wan faced down the two Dathomirians.

"Kenobi." Maul laughed. "Your apprentice suffers while you traipse about the forest…I thought the Jedi were protectors?" Obi-Wan glared. His old enemy certainly knew which buttons to push. The Jedi master knew he had to stay focused in order to fight the brothers. Pushing the concern and anger away, Obi-Wan activated his lightsaber.

"What could you know of protecting?" He replied. "You and your brother kill for entertainment!" Savage, ever the man of words, snarled at Obi-Wan before igniting his own weapon. Darth Maul simply smirked. Savage leapt at Obi-Wan while Maul held his own saber at the ready. Obi-Wan and Savage exchanged blows, and while Obi-Wan knew he could still beat the creature, Savage's brother had definitely taught him better technique. Obi-Wan force-pushed Opress back and slashed for his arms, but Maul entered the fight with his own blade.

"You can't take us both, Kenobi!" Maul screeched. The Sith pushed Obi-Wan backwards, then both brothers attacked together. Despite his best efforts, Obi-Wan was mostly on the defensive. He figured he would catch one of the brothers when a mistake was made, but he didn't expect Savage's use of the force. After being pushed back, Maul kicked Obi-Wan to the ground, knocking his light saber away. The two brothers laughed, and Savage walked to the fallen Jedi.

"Bring him to me, brother." Maul told him. Savage grinned, and despair began to overwhelm Obi-Wan. "I'll be sure to inform Skywalker how you failed so pitifully before he dies."

With that, Obi-Wan snapped.

With impossible speed, his saber flew into his hand, and in a flash the blade was embedded in Savage's abdomen. The forest was silent for a moment in shock until the Jedi Master arced around and decapitated the monster. Savage Opress fell to the forest, dead. Darth Maul let out a bellow of rage, and Obi-Wan turned to face him. A fire of incredible pain and rage shone in the Sith's eyes. Before Obi-Wan could react, Maul tackled him to the ground, sabers forgotten. The air was choked out of Obi-Wan's lungs, and darkness began to encroach in his vision.

Just as the Jedi expected to die, the hands around his throat were gone. Obi-Wan coughed and grabbed his throat, struggling to his feet. A few yards away, Maul stood, watching him. With a broken glance, he pulled the vial containing the antidote from his tunic.

"You took my brother from me." He said softly. "Now I'll take yours from you." The vial smashed to the ground with a push from the force, and Obi-Wan's heart stopped at the sight of the liquid that had been his only hope spilling across the earth. Maul picked up his brother's body and ran off as Obi-Wan fell to his knees in defeat.

"Force no." Obi-Wan whispered. No matter the Jedi code, he loved Anakin. His brother. And now he was going to watch him die, powerless. It began to rain, and the remains of the antidote were washed away. After what could have been a minute, or maybe an hour, Obi-Wan was jolted out of his thoughts at the chiming of his comm. He answered.

"Master Obi-Wan?" Ahsoka Tano questioned. "Are you alright?" Obi-Wan struggled to find his voice.

"I'm fine, Ahsoka." He told her, attempting to reign in his emotions.

"Have you found Maul or Opress?" She asked. Obi-Wan took a deep breath.

"Opress is dead." He said blankly. "But Maul got away."

"Master…" Ahsoka said softly. "What has happened?"

"Maul destroyed the antidote."

"…Oh." Obi-Wan could almost feel her despair through the comm. It was then he noticed she had sounded off for the conversation. As if she had been…crying? Oh Force no!

"Ahsoka, is Anakin…?" The Jedi master couldn't finish the sentence. If Anakin was gone, and Obi-Wan hadn't even been there…he didn't think he could survive it.

"He's alive, Master." Ahsoka answered quickly. "But uh…" She stopped before choking out, "He won't stop screaming." Obi-Wan shuddered with sympathy. "What are we going to do, Master Obi-Wan?" Ahsoka finished. "Maybe…If Maul made the poison, he could make another…?" Her reluctant hope made Obi-Wan's heart ache. Then something clicked.

"Maul couldn't know how to make a poison…but…" Obi-Wan pondered. But maybe, he thought, the same person who made Maul and could hide an entire planet could. "Mother Talzin!" He exclaimed. If he could find her, perhaps Anakin could still be saved. "Ahsoka, thank you. Watch over Anakin, we can still do this!" And the communication was shut off.

Obi-Wan rose to his feet, determination making his blood boil. He cast his senses out, and discovered Maul's rage and anger easy to follow. Doing that, the Jedi took off into the trees.

Yo. So, I'm back. I'd like to thank every reader, and I'd like you all to know the fact that I've still gotten reviews, follows, and favorites after so long…I'm honored and warmed. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the chapter, g'night!

NEXT TIME: Mother Talzin smirked. "I suppose I could brew you another antidote…but I would need something in return."
