Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I'm updating this story? Well, it doesn't appear that the apocalypse is coming so what is going on? Haha sorry it's been so long ya'll! I'll be trying my best to update more routinely, and I might be updating my other stories this week, or next.

I made a somewhat sweet chapter as an apology for taking so long! I was going to write a lemon, but I figured why not build some more suspense!

With that in mind, please enjoy! (:

"What are you asking?" Sakura numbly asked, with a blank look on her face.

"Can I talk to her?" Naruto quietly asked, looking towards his boyfriend for approval.

Not quite sure what to make of the situation, Sasuke shrugged his shoulders and made his way towards his bedroom.

"What the hell are you talking about Naruto? What. The. Hell."

Somewhat exasperated, Naruto ruffled his hair and sat down on the couch, motioning Sakura to follow him. She did. She sat across from the blond and desperately attempted to find the answers to the questions suffocating her.

"I, I" Naruto took a deep breath. "I have always considered you a great friend, hell, at one point I thought I loved you Sakura, but I don't. I love Sasuke more than I care for you. I want Sasuke to be happy. His happiness is mine. And quite frankly, you have been the source of our troubles for the past few days. I don't care enough for you to risk any more problems in Sasuke and I's relationship. So please, leave and don't come back. Don't look for me. Just walk away and forget any of this happened." Sighing, Naruto stood and opened the front door. He looked up, and waited to feel the breeze that would indicate her departure.

Hurried and heavy footsteps were heard as Sakura sprinted towards Naruto and grabbed the collar of his shirt.

"Are you out of your God damn mind?" She seethed, but despite her fury, desperation swam in her emerald eyes. "I'm trying to help you, " she pleaded, "did he hit you hard? Are you hurt? What's this nonsense you're talking about!" She suppressed herself but her voice still came out as mildly yelling.

"Stop it." He harshly whispered. "I don't want any more problems, why can't you understand that?"

"Why can't you understand that HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO HIT YOU, AND THAT YOU DESERVE BETTER"!" Sakura yelled, at this point grabbing at any straws that presented themselves.

Pale and muscled arms wrapped themselves around her thin waist and hoisted her up.

"There's nothing left to be said. Get it through your skull, even he doesn't want to see you anymore. So shoo." Sasuke smirked as he dropped her in front of the door and he closed the door without looking back.

Immediately, Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto and teasingly kissed him, gently tugging on his bottom lip. "God I love you so much." He whispered as he began kissing his love once more, and softly ran his hands through Naruto's luscious locks.

Naruto blushed furiously but didn't question it, and closed his eyes while snuggling as closely as he could to Sasuke.

Sasuke kissed him once more on the nose and gazed adoringly at him. "I'm sorry for all I've done. I won't hurt you anymore Naru. If you can make sacrifices, then so can I." He sighed and tucked Naruto into his chest, and rested his chin on top of the blond's head.

Naruto's lower lip trembled, but he managed to swallow the knot in his throat and he squeezed Sasuke. Words could not describe how happy he was, and he had knew in his heart that severing his tie to Sakura was for the best.

That's it for now folks! I know this is an insanely short chapter, and I'm somewhat ashamed of that fact, but it's been a very long time since I've updated this story. And no, it is not over. Obviously things aren't going to be smooth sailing , and if you're curious as to what that means for this story, stay tuned! Btw, are any of ya'll caught up with the manga?
