Jealousy Pt. 2

Summary: Morgan and Reid are enjoying a nice day out together. When the two run into an unexpected guest, Morgan feels his jealousy awaken. Now the roles have reversed when Ethan pops up at the home of the one and only Spencer Reid.

Spencer paced throughout the living room attempting to get his emotions under control. Derek had gone to bed hours ago after being assured by Reid that he had no regrets about the choice he had made. Derek had accepted Spencer's words as the truth and after making love to his genius they had fallen asleep in each other's arms. But now, at one in the morning, Spencer was wide awake, worrying about Ethan being in town.

Spencer was heading back to bed when there was a knock at the door. "Who could that be at this time of night?" thought Spencer aloud as he moved towards the door. The knock came again, more insistent this time. Reid pulled the door open and found himself staring at the one person he didn't want to see.

"Well hello Spencer. So good to see you again."

"What do you want Ethan?" Was the short response that Reid gave.

"I was wondering if I could come in for a little while so that we can catch up."

"We don't have anything to talk about, so if you will excuse me I'm headed back to bed since it is one in the morning." Reid went to close the door only to have Ethan grab his arm rather forcefully.

"I believe I said that we need to catch up. You know what I mean Spencer." Ethan had a predatory glint in his eyes that made Spencer's mind scream in panic. But Reid maintained his composure and spoke calmly.

"Let. Me. Go. Ethan."

Ethan's grip strengthened, pulling a small whimper from the young profiler.

"I believe that he said let him go. Which I would do before I break every bone in your hand." Reid relaxed at the sound of his lover's voice and released a breath he didn't know he had been holding. Just as quickly as he had entered the room he was behind Spencer, wrapping his arms around him protectively. Morgan saw the rage on Ethan's face as the Genius leaned back into the embrace and his eyes drifted closed briefly.

"So I see that you have company. Is he staying on your couch now?"

Morgan would be lying if he said that he was not enjoying the obvious anger that his lover's ex was showing. And the jealousy that he felt earlier was gone, obviously transferred to Ethan. Morgan was prepared to answer but Spencer beat him to the punch.

"Not that it's any of your business, but no he isn't sleeping on the couch. Now I believe that you were disrupting our night. Goodbye Ethan."

"Damn Pretty Boy. Never seen you like that before." Spencer turned around to admire Morgan's body that was clad only in his black underwear.

"Well I needed to show you that there is no reason to be jealous. There is also one more way for me to show you." With that Spencer winked.
