You all asked and begged, so here it is. hope you all like it...

Strolling along the countryside in the northern territory of fire country, a six foot four man, wearing blue shinobi pants and no shoes. A deep blue version of the legendary fourth Hokage's cloak with red flames licking the bottom and lightning covering sleeves hung from his broad shoulder, showing off his chiseled torso. A toad style head band held back his golden hair, allowing deep blue eyes to gaze out at the beauty of the surrounding area. His thoughts blank as he connected with the nature around him.

Indeed. Much had changed in the three years that had passed since Naruto had set out to gain the strength to protect the world from darkness.

'So much has happened. I wish I had checked in more... I really need to visit Kumo and Kiri. I wonder how the nature there will compare...' Thought Naruto as he read the report in his hand. 'Old man was right. Danzo is good at what he does.'

In the years that had passed, Danzo had his men track everything that was going on in the elemental nations. If the hand written report was anything to go by, even the old wind user was wary of the amount of change.

Suna and Iwa had been signing treaties with the lands between them. It seemed as though they were going to commit fully to their alliance. This had Naruto concerned. 'Suna recovered faster than I expected. The report says they have increased both the size and quality of their forces. Same with Iwa. If they can sign Ame as well, they will have one solid front and almost no weak spots to attack. Hopefully Itachi was able to gain favor with iron country and waterfall.'

That was another thing. Itachi had done a fantastic job as Hokage. 'Helps that there's two jinchuuriki and a full military and economical alliance with both Kumo and Kiri. The only thing that troubles me is that Oto hasn't folded.'

Danzo had mentioned before that they seemed stable, but now it seemed that they were actually growing at an impressive rate. Rumors that they already had a hidden village being built were troubling, as is they couldn't pin point the leader, or leaders, as there were allegedly two people leading as a tandem. Even Tobirama hadn't managed to find anything out.

Suddenly, Naruto felt the nature around him either as an unseen force began to draw energy at an alarming rate. He pinpointed the disturbance and spotted a figure standing atop a tree about half a mile ahead of him, the tree slowly dying beneath his feet.

Then, he was gone. Like he had never been there. Naruto headed towards the tree that the figure had been standing on, only to find the tree completely dead, sucked clean of all it's chakra. Naruto placed his palm on the tree and pushed some of his own chakra into the bark. After a moment, the leaves began to return to size and color.

The tree would survive, but Naruto had a bigger problem on his hands.

'Another sage? But he pulled so much chakra in... Almost as much as it takes for me to enter true mode...' Thought Naruto as he racked his brain. Thinking quickly, he summoned Fukasaku.

"What do you need Naruto?" Questioned the small toad. "And why are you not in sage mode?"

"I need you to have your father check with all the other summons. There is another being capable of utilizing massive amounts of nature chakra." Stated Naruto.

Fukasaku's eyes widened and he desummoned, getting to his father as quickly as possible.

'This is troubling.'

-konoha-

'Damn him, damn him for forcing me to do this...' Thought Itachi as he started making hand signs for the grand fire eruption jutsu.

"Um, Itachi? You ok?"

Itachi looked up to see his younger brother standing at the door. The three years had changed Sasuke, who now wore the standard konoha uniform with his chunin vest over it, his hair had been styled longer and his forehead protector was tied around his forehead.

"Yes Sasuke. I am simply deciding to finish my paperwork early..." States Itachi, who was tempted to use any technique possible to rid himself of the dreaded paperwork.

"With a fire jutsu? You know that will just make more paperwork." Stated Sasuke with a deadpan expression on his face. "Like the last time you did that."

'Of course! How could I be so foolish as to forget...' Thought Itachi desperately. "Not at all. Was there something you needed?"

"I was coming to pick up my assignment for the day." Stated Sasuke as he moved to the open chair in front of him. "Figured I'd get it out of the way, maybe ask for gate guard. Give Izumo a break."

"Very well. Let us move to the missions hall." Stated Itachi as he got up, revealing his long robes that covered him completely. "How was the mission to wave?"

"It was nice, no incidents. Tsunami sends her regards by the way." Stated Sasuke as he fell in step beside his brother.

"Miss Tari, I'll be in the mission hall." stated Itachi to the Secretary, who was busy daydreaming about her blonde boyfriend. She simply nodded before he and Sasuke walked out of the lobby. "How does their academy look?"

- Kumo-

"Bee! For the last time, you cannot turn the valley into a nightclub!" Shouted A at the top of his lungs.

"But Brokage, the people want to dance!" Shouted back Bee as he broke into a quick break dance. "Oh, and are we sending any teams to the chunin exams in iwa?"

"No one wants to dance to your music! And no, not unless a sensei requests it, as Tarou and Ruki were both field promoted. And would you stop hitting on Mabui!" Shouted A. "She has work to do!"

"Just cuz you can't get laid, doesn't mean I can't get myself a nice little maid." Stated bee as he walked out the door and over to Mubai. "Yo mubai, what you got planned for tonight? Maybe a dinner by the moonlight? Or maybe a spar will do you right?"

"She won't say yes!" Stated A from his office.

Mabui looked the man in front of her up and down. He was the only man to ask her out formally in the last couple of years, seeing as A was always shouting to her to do stuff he was to lazy to do, plus once you got past the rapping he wasn't all that bad. "Sure, meet me here at six when I'm done for the day?"

-Oto-

"Otokage-Sama, what are your orders?" Asked a random ninja.

"Prepare a few of our best genin team to participate in the chunin exams being held in a month, I expect at least one of them to be in the finals. And then ask Kabuto-Sama what he has planned for the meeting with the Kazekage next week." Stated a hooded figure that sat behind a rather nice desk in his office. "And then have him come here. He hasn't responded to a summons in a while."

-Kiri-

Zabuza looked out over the village he had returned to those years ago, standing tall, wearing only his pants, he walked out onto the balcony of his house. 'Who would have thought that brat would change my life so much?'

Kiri had prospered over the last year. With the trade agreements between Kumo, Kiri and konoha, the economy had recovered faster than expected. He was seen as a hero now, his exploits and the myths that spawned from the civil war made him world famous and loved by most.

Zabuza turned around to walk back inside and get ready for the day, when he saw Mei standing in the doorway, a sheet wrapped loosely around her naked frame. "And why didn't I wake up to my Mizukage pillow this morning? Get in here, I need my morning medicine."

'I have no idea what Naruto was thinking when he broke it off with mei, but I'm not going to complain. She's the best wife a man could ask for.'

-Suna-

"Are you sure that we can trust Oto? They don't have a good record of keeping alliances." Stated Kankuro, now a jounin and head of the puppet core. "Especially with us."

"We will be fine. Even if they betray us, we have the weight of five nations at out back." States Baki, the new Kazekage. "And besides, we have our new secret weapon at our disposal."

"Do you want to test him out in The chunin exams? The exams would work well, and he is part of a team that would be sent." Stated Kankuro.

"Send them and another solid team to the exams. He needs battle experience."

-Unknown-

"He doesn't know what he is messing with."

"Mother might not-"

"Don't doubt mother!"

"But if the kyuubi-"

"Listen! Pain can't mess this up. I didn't control Madara and work over Orochimaru for that weakling to ruin this."

"... Yeah, you're right. It's not like he learned Harugumo's secret. But we gave him Brothers eyes..."

"He doesn't even know that they were his."

-Naruto-

Naruto appeared at the gates of konoha, scaring the gate guards, who so happened to be Izumo and Kotetsu. "How is it that you two are still gate guard? I don't understand how you always get the job..."

"Godaime-Sama!" The both shouted in fear, before shouting, "I wasn't sleeping, I swear!"

Naruto sweat dropped. 'These two haven't changed.' "I see that... Mind if I come in?"

Unknown to most, both Izumo and Kotetsu were actually amazing sensor ninja, which was one reason why they always got the job as gate guards. They had noticed Naruto arrive the instant he had appeared at the gate, though his chakra signature seemed odd, neither of them had ever felt a completely calm chakra signature. "No sir! We just didn't expect you to show up today."

"To tell the truth, I hadn't either. But something important has come up, so I came back early." Stated Naruto with a smile. "Don't tell Itachi or anyone I'm back yet, I'd like to see the village before I'm forced to get to work."

-unknown hideout-

Pain stood as a hologram upon the statue as he looked over the rest Akatsuki. "What is this I've been hearing about a new sage?"

Kakazu spoke first. "Rumor is that it's the kyuubi jinchuuriki, but we know that he is not in the elemental nations right now. We believe him to be in the land of toads. Whoever is galavanting around is a new factor."

Sasori spoke next. "All we know, other than rumors, is that he takes a great amount of chakra from where he is and disappears. Usually leaving nearby trees dead."

"Hmmm. Kakazu, take Hidan and track him down. If you find him, offer him the vacant spot. Sasori and deidara, find out what is going on between suna and Iwa, I am tired of killing messengers." Stated pain with a tone of finality. He waited until the two groups left, leaving only Tobi, Kisame, Zetsu and konan. "Zetsu, Tobi, Kisame, please go to Iwa and map out the arena. Suna's new weapon may be there, and I want it."

-konoha-

Naruto was currently playing ninja with a group of academy students that didn't seem to know who he was. Though if he had to guess, they were around eight to nine years old, so they wouldn't really remember him being nominated, and they were too young to have read in depth about the Hokage's yet. 'I miss those days... Tobirama, Dad, did you find anything yet?'

'Nothing. Other than the lack of normal chakra levels, everything is normal.' Stated Tobirama. 'Though Madara says that something has happened in Kiri of similar circumstance.'

Naruto dodged a paper shuriken and responded. 'Ill check with him later, he and Hashirama are searching for the Sanbi, and mom is working on repairing gaara's seal again.'

'Naruto. I found something in the archives... You should come see it.' Thought the sandaime Raikage.

'Sanbi is no-where in these god forsaken islands.' Spoke madara.

'Are you sure? It should have appeared by now.' Thought Naruto.

'I don't sense any bijuu energy. It's not here Naruto.' Confirmed Hashirama.

'Got it. I need to see Itachi first. Bull, I'll Meet you in the office in two hours.' Thought Naruto as he cut the lines of communication, just in time to sense a jonin level chakra land in the park where he was playing.

"Godaime-Sama? Is that you?" Questioned neji hyuuga, who even using his Byakugan couldn't tell with the changes the blonde had undergone.

The kids all froze as most of them knew neji from his time teaching the academy taijutsu classes with Rock Lee, but everyone knew that the Godaime Hokage was said to be the strongest Hokage ever, so strong that he left the village to protect it from the outside, something no kage had ever done.

Naruto on the other hand, groaned. "Come On neji, did you really have to ruin our fun? And none of that Godaime stuff, just cuz I outrank you, doesn't mean you have to refer to me by my title."

Neji sweat dropped. "Yes, actually... That's exactly what it means..."

"Wait... You're the Godaime Hokage?" Asked one of the kids

"Yep! Though I guess I'm not really the Hokage anymore, so you can call me Naruto." Stated the blonde with a smile.

"This is so cool! We've been playing ninja with the Godaime Hokage! Wait till iruka-sensei hears about this!" Shouted another kid.

"Iruka sensei? You have him as a sensei?" Questioned Naruto. 'That's not right, he shouldn't be teaching anything but the advanced classes.'

"He's filling in for Moro-sensei." Stated neji, reading the blondes facial expression. "Moro had a training incident with lee's weights."

"Huh... Wait, shouldn't you be in class then?" Questioned Naruto. Moro was a second year teacher when he left, which means that they should be in class.

"Iruka-sensei is boring. We skipped out after lunch." Stated a young girl sheepishly.

"Alright then, let's go." Stated Naruto as he began leading the group of children toward the academy. "Neji, go tell Itachi and Bull I'll be a while."

-academy-

Iruka was in the middle of a lecture when the door slid open and a group of students walked in with their heads down. "I hope your extended lunch break was worth it. You're all going to help me clean the room after class."

"Man, I remember when I had to do that."

Iruka turned to the door to see a rather tall, muscular blond man standing in the door. Iruka's eyes widened. "Naruto? Is that really you?"

Most of the room began murmuring. There was only one person in the village over the age of three that was named Naruto, but most of the students had regarded it him as a myth.

"C'mon iruka-sensei, do you really not remember me?" Questioned Naruto as he strolled into the classroom and took a look at an open book in front of a student. "Seems my timing is as good as ever. Though I don't remember discussing the Hokage's as a second year student."

"Naruto... You never were a second year student..." Stated Iruka with a sweatdrop. "Class, meet Naruto Namikaze, Godaime Hokage."

The whole class went silent before it erupted in shouting and questions. Naruto heard a few before he held his hand up, flexing his perfectly controlled chakra ever so slightly. "I'm going to answer your questions, but one at a time, ok?"

"Hokage-Sama? Why does my older sister have pictures of you all over her room?"

-half an hour later, Hokage tower-

"So he's bringing academy students back to class before he's coming here?" Questioned Itachi. "It will be a while then."

Neji just nodded, knowing that Naruto had had attendance to show off a bit.

"Actually, I sent a clone to the academy." Stated Naruto as he appeared in the center of the office. "I had some loose ends to tie up."

"Naruto, it is good to see you again. I would like to see how strong you have become, but first, you told Bull that you found something that disturbed you." Stated Itachi as neji bowed and left the office.

A few seconds later, Minato and tobirama appeared in the office, with The Third Raikage appearing shortly after.

"I came across an individual that can harness an incredible amount of nature chakra, almost as much as I can in normal sage mode." Stated Naruto with seriousness.

"Madara and Hashirama reported similar events in Kiri, and I've seen the results recently in iwa." Stated Minato.

"Is there the possibility that it is more than one person? That amount of nature chakra would be unthinkable in one person, especially if they are collecting it from around the world." Questioned Tobirama.

"I can't imagine that there could be more than one other sage in the world. Even Jiraiya would struggle to mold that level of chakra." Stated Naruto.

"My finding may help." Stated bull as he placed an old scroll on the ground. "This was found in one of orochimaru's labs, along with a lot or other research into nature chakra."

Naruto and Itachi looked over the scroll, morbid fascination over the snakes handwritten notes and articles from different writings. There was one note that caught Naruto's eye.

'I believe that I have found proof that there is a level above even the summon style sage mode, possibly a combination of two styles. In the archives, I've found reference to a Dragon style sage mode, vastly superior to any other style that I have found in the texts.'

Naruto looked at the portrait of the third Hokage, as if trying to solve a riddle. "Do we have a date on this? Can you all try and find the texts for this so called dragon sage mode?"

"This was in the third hokage's vault, along with all the other effects that were saved from his labs." Stated the third Raikage. "Hiruzen should have killed him earlier."

Naruto nodded, while the other members in the room simply bowed their heads.

"I'll go talk to the guardians. Maybe they will know something. I'll be back in a week."

"Shouldn't you say hi to the secretary? The one you were plowing before you left?"

-Mt. Myubaku-

Jiraiya stood before the elder toad, confusion on his face as he tried to process what the forgetful old toad was saying. "Run that by me again, are you saying that-"

"Yes. The prophecy has changed. It is not the great beast that will bring the eve of times. It will be... A rabbit." Spoke the old toad, smoke leaking from its mouth as it spoke. "Oh, Jiraiya! When did you get here? Have you seen Fukasaku?"

"You crazy old toad! Tell me more about the prophecy!" Shouted Jiraiya, his hair flailing as he moved to approach the toad.

"Prophecy? Oh! Yes, the prophecy has changed..." Stated the elder, his hand reaching for his chin.

Jiraiya groaned and started pulling his hair. "What about the prophesy changed?"

"The rabbit. It seems to be powerful, and gorgeous. Your underling. The blonde one. No winners in this fight. Or maybe both..." Pondered the toad, his eyes looking down at the white haired sannin. "The red clouds must NOT be stopped before the rabbit appears, or balance will not be possible. The last snake will bring the rabbit to this realm, and the final sage will kill the impostor."

"Can you tell me anything about the impostor? Who are they? Who are they trying to be?" Questioned Jiraiya, hoping to get more out of the old toad.

"The oldest Uchiha." Stated the toad, shocking Jiraiya. The prophecies were never that accurate, and that meant one thing.

"Not that Uchiha. The one thought dead, the one that wasn't there that night." Stated the toad.

Jiraiya sighed. "You never make it easy."

"Oh, Jiraiya, when did you get here?" Questioned the elder toad again.

"Just now, want to tell me the prophecy again?"

-Naruto-

Naruto appeared in the plane of the guardians, immediately noticing that they were all looking into the crystal ball.

"Do not fret, the sage is one of mine, though you will have to kill him soon." Stated Iroh, his back to the blonde

"Dragon sage mode. The most volatile and dangerous..." Stated roc, his eyes scanning the image that Naruto could not see. "To think that he learned of it through those damn snakes."

"Naruto, the one you seek... He will be a challenge. Dragon sages are granted vast strength and speed. His actual abilities will cause you trouble if you can't put him down." Stated Ra, his head turning toward the blonde. "He is not the enemy we predicted, but he may become your challenge soon."

"You must test yourself to find your limits before you face him. His growth is astounding, and he may be able to actually injure you." Stated Iroh, disgust in his voice. "Leave it to a snake to stoop so low."

"We will tell you of his location and identity when you return. I will speak to Garuda. I'd advise you tell Kurama and Gamagaia." Stated Roc.

"I'll just go kill him now. If he's using sage mode, can I use it?" Asked Naruto, the whites of his eyes slowly turning black with blue iris fading into white pupils, His hair standing straight up.

"No! That is only to be used if the very world is at stake. Though I would advise being ready to transform when the dragon sage appears. You will need to be at full power to kill him."

Naruto's eyes reverted, his blue replacing the white. "Then I'll just return home now. Maybe a spar with Itachi and Jiraiya?"

Naruto flashed out of the realm, his pull on the nature chakra fading.

"He still cannot control the pull of nature chakra. He can harness much more nature chakra than the last sage could."

"If he doesn't control it soon, we will have to eliminate him. He will tear the world apart if he were to try and use IT now."

-unknown location-

"It seems that the kyuubi container is back in his village." Stated kisame, his hologram flickering.

"Any idea how strong he is? Think we can kill the prick and get on with our plans?" Questioned Hidan, the newest member of the group, also the new partner of Kakuzu.

"He killed two kage and defeated two kage level ninja in one fight, I doubt he has gotten weaker." Stated sasori.

"Hm, sasori is right. We need to blow up the whole damn village!" Stated deidara, the youngest Akatsuki member, and now partner of sasori.

"Tobi doesn't think that's a good idea, kyuubi man is strong, I think that would just make him mad." Stated Tobi, his head cocked to the side.

"Tobi is correct. We will need to get him alone, outside of the village. Have we collected the other bijuu samples yet?" Questioned Pain

"We have the kettle that ichibi was sealed in, the pot that held Nibi, we just captured the Sanbi, we got yonbi and Gobi from iwa in our agreement, the rokubi is being brought to us now, Nanabi was easy, the hibachi sample is being brought to us now." Listed off Konan.

"Just missing kyuubi." Stated zetsu, his black half somewhat agitated.

"That is of no concern. We will seal what we have and move on with our plans when the kyuubi container is vulnerable." Stated pain.

"I might be able to help with that problem."

-Naruto-

Naruto was surprised to find his apartment was still clean. He supposed that was due to the fact that he had given the key to Kina while he was gone. It had appeared that she had moved in, with several feminine additions to the apartment.

Like the top and pants that were laying on the ground... Or the bra... Or the panties that were hanging on the bedroom door knob.

Naruto smiled. It had been nearly three years, and she still loved him... Or lusted after him. Either one was fine for now.

Naruto walked into his room, only to be shocked when he found that there was two people in HIS bed! "What the hell!"

"Good, you finally got here." Moaned out Kina, lying on her back while she pressed her chest upward. "There is a surprise under the covers for you. If either of us can walk in the morning, you will be in trouble."
