Hey y'all. Not a chapter, but I feel like you guys deserve this explanation. See, I moved from my town so MG6673 and I don't see each other or talk much...Like, at all. We started this story when I got Skype, but then my computer broke and we haven't really had constant contact for about the duration of the previous chapter to now.
We still don't talk that much, so as a result we haven't created the next chapter or any more to follow. What I guess I'm saying is this story will be discontinued? I'm extremely busy so it's kinda hard to create chapters when I'm not on break. And, I don't think I have the motivation for this one.
So, here's the options: 1. It's discontinued and I am extremely sorry to all who have stuck with this story.
2. Up for adoption? If someone really enjoys this and would like to do a continuation based on it, just PM me and we can talk it out.
I'm deeply sorry y'all. I've never done this before and I feel awful for it, but it's what it's come to. So, there y'all go.
I WILL however, leave you guys with what MG6673 and I had for the next chapter, take it as a sort of parting gift.
THE FOLLOWING IS NOT COMPLETE.
Thank you so much to PastaAndWurst for giving us this idea! We love you~! (In a friendly manner, of course~!)...And we obviously do not own Hetalia.
Arthur's eyes slid open. They wandered the room, landing on the alarm clock that read 7:48 AM in glowing green numbers. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes as they glide down to two small faces to his right. Alfred laid with his back to Arthur, his face calm. His hand was clasped around his twins, who slept peacefully. Matthew laid facing his brother, blankets snug on his small frame.
Arthur smiled at the two boys, but looked up to find his companion was not there. Figuring the older blond was downstairs, he slid out of the bed. As he opened the door, he heard shifting on the bed and looked back.
Alfred and Matthew were both sitting up, rubbing their eyes and looking at Arthur. He gave a small smile and told them, "Why don't you two go brush your teeth and meet your Papa and me downstairs." Both boys nodded and Arthur continued on down to the kitchen.
Upon entering, he saw the elder blond standing at the counter looking over a cookbook. Arthur looked him over one more moment before saying, "Hey, Francis."
Said man turned his attention from the cookbook and toward the smaller of the two, uttering a quick, "Oui?" He was still in his pajamas, and he held a spatula in his hand while the other rested on the book.
Arthur leaned against the wall. "I have a question."
Francis studied Arthur for a moment setting the spatula down asking, "What is it? Did I do something wrong?"
Arthur let a small chuckle escape his lips, rolling his eyes. "No, you git. You didn't do anything. I was just thinking..." He trailed off a moment, as though he was reluctant of his idea. After mulling it over, he continued. "Would you be okay if we took the children to an amusement park?"
Francis simply stared at the man. Had he heard him right? Did his ears deceive him? To make sure he wasn't just imagining what he'd heard, he asked, "You want to go to an amusement park with the boys?"
"Well..." He began. He wasn't too sure about the idea, considering how crazy kids can get, but nodded his head nonetheless. "Yes, I do. They went through quite a bit yesterday, and I don't see the harm in taking them..."
Francis looked at the man a second more before running out of the kitchen. He stopped at the staircase and yelled, "BOYS, WE'RE GOING TO THE AMUSEMENT PARK!"
Arthur simply looked at Francis in surprised, blinking a few times. After realizing what happened, he muttered, "Git."
"REALLY?!" Alfred's voice called.
"You bet! Now get dressed!" was Francis's excited response.
Alfred continued to yell, but this time to his brother saying, "YOU HEAR THAT MATTIE? AMUSEMENT PARK~!" With his brother giving a, not so loud, "Yay!" In response.
Both men continued to look at the staircase, watching a small blond bolt down the stairs and tackle Francis with a hug yelling, "THANK YOU!" Before Francis could respond, the boy was off of him and attacking Arthur giving another, "THANK YOU!" Both men watched as Alfred ran right back upstairs.
Not long after Alfred ran upstairs did Matthew come, ever so calmly, walking down the stairs. He walked over to Francis and gave a gentle hug saying, "Merci, Papa." He then walked over to Arthur and gave another gentle hug saying, "Thank you, Dad." With that, he returned back upstairs as leisurely as he came down.
Francis turned his gaze to Arthur and shook his head saying, "How are they so different...they're about the same age...did we do something different with one of them?"
Arthur looked back at Francis, just as confused. After a moment he shrugged and responded with, "I'm not sure..." He put his finger to his chin in thought continuing saying, "Though I'm still convinced I dropped Alfred on his head when he was younger..."
Francis thought that over. "...I would have remembered."
Arthur shrugged. "Maybe I did it when you weren't around and he just kept quiet about it."
Francis thrusted his hands in front of him. "Then you would have remembered!"
Arthur waved his hand dismissively. "Pish posh! I'm getting ready." He then turned and headed up the stairs.
Francis looked at Arthur, dumbfounded. "...How old are you again?"
"23." He replied. He turned around on the stairs and faced Francis. "Why does that matter?"
Francis threw his arms up dramatically as he said, "Because, no one says 'pish posh' anymore!"
Arthur glared at Francis. After a minute, he stuck out his tongue in a childish manner and said, "Well, oh well."
Francis looked at the man confused until he sighed, and walked past Arthur going to their room. Arthur looked at the man behind his back and muttered, "That's right, give up." Then he followed behind.
Once Arthur and Francis were done getting ready, they met the kids in the living room. Francis looked at the two and asked, "You two ready?"
Matthew gave a small nod in response. Alfred, jumping up and down, responded with a loud, "Yeah!"
Francis: Good! Then we can go!
Arthur: Alright, to the car!
Alfred: YAY! *Runs out of house*
Matthew: *Follows Alfred*
Francis: Ah~! This will be fun! *Walks out of house*
Arthur: And now you've gone and jinxed us all. *Walks out/closes door*
*At the park*
Matthew: *Wide eyed*...It's so big...
Alfred: *Bouncing* I KNOW! Isn't it awesome?!
Arthur: Alright, lad. Calm yourself. Now, do not stray from one of us. Do you two understand?
Alfred: *Nods excitedly*
Matthew: *Tugs at Francis's shirt* Papa?
Francis: Oui?
Matthew: *Holds out hand* I don't wanna get lost.
Francis:...*Smile* *Takes hand* Don't let go, okay?
Matthew: Oui.
Arthur: Alright, where would you two like to go first?
Matthew: Um...I don't know...There's so many to choose from...
Alfred:...*Gasp* Can we go on the bumper cars?!
Arthur: Francis? Matthew?
Matthew: Okay...*Looks up at Francis* What are bumper cars?
Francis: Well, take a look. *Points to bumper cars*
Matthew: *Looks*...*Sees cars*...*Squeaks* T-Those l-look scary!
Arthur:...*Looks at Francis*...Maybe this wasn't such a good idea...
Francis: *Kneels down* You'll be fine. They won't hurt you, I promise.
Matthew:...Promise?
Francis:...*Holds out pinky* I pinky promise.
Matthew:...*Wraps pinky around* Kay.
Francis: Now go with your brother.
Matthew:...*Goes off with Alfred*
Alfred: *Climbs into car*
Matthew: *Climbs into the same car*
Alfred: Ready Mattie?
Matthew: *Nods nervously*
Alfred: Sweet! *The machines begin*
Arthur: *Leaning against rail*...Will he be okay? He looks really scared...
Francis: He'll be fine.
Arthur: Alright, if you say so.
*After ride*
Alfred: That was AWESOME! Didja see us?! We totally owned them!
Arthur: *Chuckle* Yes yes, we saw.
Matthew: *Clinging to Francis's leg* I-I didn't like it..
Francis: *Pats head* It's okay. You're alright.
Arthur: Alright, Matthew how about you pick now?
Matthew: U-Um...*Points to Carousel*
Arthur: Alright!
Matthew:...*Starts tugging Alfred over to the Carousel*
Alfred: *Follows*
Francis:..Alfred was actually speechless...
Arthur:...I don't know if that's good or bad...
Matthew: So. Which one did you wanna go on?
Alfred:...*Points to a swinging bench* That one..?
Matthew: Okay. *Sits on bench*
Alfred:...*Sits next to Matthew*
Matthew:...Are you okay?
Alfred: Why'd you pick this ride?
Matthew: Cause it's nice and quiet!
Alfred: But it's boring~. All it does is go in circles...And there's ponies everywhere!
Matthew:...So?
Alfred: It's girly~!
Matthew:...I don't think so.
Alfred: Well it is...And it makes me dizzy.
Matthew: Sorry...
Alfred:...It's okay..You didn't really like the bumper cars, so I guess we're even.
Matthew: Kay...
*After ride*
Matthew: *Smile* That was fun!
Francis: *Chuckle* I'm glad you had a good time.
Alfred: *Grabs Arthur's pant leg*
Arthur: What's wrong?
Alfred: I'm dizzy.
Arthur: *Chuckle* You're fine.
Matthew: What's next?
Francis: Arthur's turn~!
Arthur: *Rolls eyes* Of course...
Matthew: What did you want to do, Dad?
Arthur: *Looks around*...How about the haunted house?
Francis: Okay. You okay with that, Matthieu?
Matthew: *Nod* I think I'll be okay..
Arthur: Alfred?
Alfred:...*Small nod*
Arthur: Alright, then. Let us go!
*In haunted house*
Arthur: Okay, two to a seat.
Alfred: *Clutching pant leg*
Arthur:...*Picks up Alfred* *Gets into cart*
Francis: *Picks up Matthew* *Gets into cart*
*Ride starts* *Little "ghosts" start "flying" above*
Alfred: *scoots closer to Arthur/buries face*
Arthur: Hm?...*looks down* Lad, what's wrong?
Alfred: Th-The ghosts...
Arthur:...*puts arm around Alfred* Don't worry, lad. They can't hurt you.
Alfred:...*nestles closer to Arthur* *Puts arms around Arthur*
Arthur: *Smile* *Kisses head* You'll be fine.
