Finale
On December 31st 2010, the war between Osean Federation and Union of Yuktobanian Republics, known as "Circum-Pacific War", or "Belkan Conflict" by those who knows its inside story, is concluded. Osean forces begin to withdraw from Yuktobanian territories on the same day, and both nations shift their focuses on remedial affairs such as reconstructions, compensations, of course the continuous hunt for Belkan operatives.
48th President of Osean Federation, Vincent Harling, who wins his re-election later, announces in congress, to release a complete document of Circum-Pacific War to public in 2020. "We must let time shed light on the truth behind this conflict. In the meantime, the world has already begun to head down a new path. And this path shall go on, as long as the blaze of fire that shines through the darkness is extinguished." That's what he says in his speech. Meanwhile, the president keeps cooperating with Prime Minister Seryozha Viktorovich Nikanor, also is rallying other countries across the planet, to build a more peaceful world.
Other major figures, who has their roles in the struggle of bringing back peace, simply disappear from spotlights, however that does not mean their own stories come to an end. So we start from Jack Bartlett, to have an exploration of their recent statuses.
Sand Island Air Force Base is closed after end of war, as a token of peace's restoration and insurance of cutting off traces of sensitive information. Jack Bartlett and his friend Wolfgang Buchner quit from Osean Air Defense Force, with special supports authorized by president, they open a flying club, continuing to take to the skies, but no longer for fighting.
"Major" returns to Yuktobania with Prime Minister Nikanor soon after the war's end, she's never heard from again, but it's assured she is helping prime minister on his request of peace and is pursuing Belkan operatives in her country. Will she restore the relationship with Bartlett? Time will answer it.
OFS Kestrel is honorably decommissioned in 2012 and is converted into a museum ship. Nicholas A. Andersen retires from Osean Maritime Defense Force at same time, later he is employed to be honorary director of Kestrel Naval Museum.
Pilots of Razgriz Squadron also have their new places respectively. Hans Grimm and Marcus Snow remain in military service, they're now members of Joint Chiefs of Staff. Kei Nagase declines President Harling's offer of giving her a prominent position in DOD, instead she becomes an airliner pilot, flying for peace and flying in peace.
As for Blaze. President Harling once offers him the seat of Secretary of Defense, but he insists to be an astronaut, so president grants his wish by appointing him as commander of Arkbird II. Later he is promoted to commander of newly-built International Space Station.
Besides his main career involving with working outside atmosphere, Blaze also starts a side career as an amateurish cartoonist in Comic Market, in memory of Davenport. So far he has produced numerous fan-comics and fanfictions, especially fan-comics and fanfictions of "ラブ ゆう", "Tsukiyo no Fromage", "Ro-Kyu-Bu!", and a superhero comic series "Wardog Rangers", of course all of them have best endings agreed by both him and Davenport.
Somewhere in Southern Osea, inside a Shinto Shrine. Blaze walks on the road connects Torii and primary sanctuary. He is in uniform of Osean Space Defense Force, and is having a little girl sitting on his right arm. The little girl is approximately three or four years-old, with raven-colored, long hair, holds a model of Arkbird II in her hands. He is also accompanied by a miko girl and a maid, the miko is obviously pregnant since her abdomen is swollen.
"What does space look like, otou-san?" The little girl is playing with her Arkbird II model, and asks Blaze.
"Way more spectacular than you can image, sweetie. The stars, the Milky Way, and when you look down to the world, the ocean, the glaciers, forests, deserts, clouds, even auroras…I can't describe sufficiently by any languages, you have to see it yourself."
Girl speaks with longing: "I wish I was with you when you were there, otou-san."
"You were, sweetie." Blaze smiles. The miko and the maid glance at each other and smile too.
As they walk further and further, camera pans up, into azure-colored sky, a plane is soaring above, with its contrail. Then screen slowly turns black.

Every character presented in the story comes forth to camera to bid thanks one by one, in their own ways, then the scene shifts to a large banquet hall, all of them are having a lavish dinner altogether. Meanwhile the music is switched to "A Deeper Love", singing in background (performed by Aretha Franklin). Screen gradually goes black, with credits rolling from bottom to top.
