So I had a brain fart. I just remembered that Skywarp can WARP. Yeah. So, uhhhhhhh. Yup.

"This is a tight fit."

"Stop squirming, Skywarp!"

"I can't help it!"

Kira sighed, rubbing a hand down her face. "Shut up! She'll be here any minute." The scuffling quieted down, but didn't cease. That would have to do, Kira decided. After all, three seven foot plus Seekers were stuffed into her closet. Discounting wingspan, it still would have been a tight fit.

Why were all three Seekers in the closet? Well, that had to do with the figurines she had sealed in a padded box—could never be too safe with Skywarp around. Jesse had just been released from quarantine and was on her way back to collect her Transformer action figures

"Kiraaaa~" Ah, the devil herself. Jesse swung the door open violently—hadn't Kira locked it?—and skipped in. "I'm baaack! Didja miss me? Oh, I hope not and—ooooh, are those my figures?" Kira stood still as Jesse whirled around, first hugging her tightly, then snatching the box from her hands.

Muffled shrieking came from the closet and Kira gave a tense smile as Jesse tore at the box. Dear God they needed to be quiet or this would get real bad real fast. "It's too tight! I'm out!" A loud twanging sound was followed by a huge thud from the next room over. "Ow!" Kira's eyes widened; the hell was that?

Peering around the wall to the living room, her jaw dropped. Skywarp was halfway through the wall next to the closet, phased in like he was a wall fixture. He looked up from wiggling and waved. "Hi Kira!" She shushed him and leaned back to look at Jesse, who was still prying the box open.

Ripping it open, Jesse smiled. "Aw! You took such good care of my Pacific Rim action figures; you're the best!" What? Kira snuck a peek into the box as Jesse squealed. Inside were not the Seeker figures she had ordered a month back. "Anyway, I have to be going! I have a captive in my car. Ta dear," and with that Jesse was gone, leaving Kira to stand in shock at the doorway.

She leaned out after Jess. "What do you mean you have a captive?!" Who says that to a military officer anyway? Crashing from the house echoed out into the street, capturing Kira's attention. Oh good grief, what now?

"Skywarp, your aft is still in my face!" Rushing back into the house, Kira swung the closet open—and was promptly smushed by a pair of Seekers. Oh, that was heavy. Thundercracker pushed himself up first, apologizing before he moved to try and pull Skywarp from the wall.

"Thundercracker! Heeeellp!" Thundercracker sighed, yanking on his stuck brother. This happened far too often for his liking. One would think he would have it down after all this time, but no.

"I've got you, just hold on." Skywap squirmed, his aft sticking through the wall into the closet. How embarrassing!

Starscream was slower getting up, staring down at Kira with a stunned look. She was so soft! Unbeknownst to most outside of the Trine, Starscream had a minor weakness for soft objects. Kira blinked up at him, slowly recovering from being pancaked by two hundred plus pounds* of Seeker mechs. Starscream shook himself mentally. No time for that! Had he harmed her? He knew that while Seekers were lighter than other frames—came with the territory of flying—that they were still heavier than squishies were used to.

Starscream scrambled up, snatching Kira off the floor and holding her up by her shoulders. Spinning her around in his servos, Starscream began a thorough inspection of her body. Lifting up her arms and searching for scratches on all her limbs, he was intent in his duties. After all, she was… she was… Starscream paused, letting Kira shove his servos away indignantly.

What was Kira? She took care of them, she fed them, she played with Skywarp, she answered Thundercracker's questions, and she listened to himself. She was one of the Trine but not. Like a… prized possession! She made him feel warm inside, like he had swallowed a star.

How odd. He had no idea possessions could make a mech feel this way!

Speaking of possessions, he had an examination to continue.

"Get off me Starscream! I'm fine!" As he searched her over, his processor turned over the conversation his possession had had with the fleshy femme called Jesse. There was something off about it, something that was pushing at his science senses.

::Skywarp. You had your audials outside the storage space. What did the fleshy femme say?::

::Umm, well, she made a big deal about her figures. Said she was glad they were safe. Odd though. She said they were Pacific Rim figures, not our figures.::

Starscream kept examining Kira, who was trying her hardest to get away—why wasn't her judo doing anything? —while his processor whirred away at light speed. It clicked.

::They don't know about Cybertronians in this world.:: Starscream smirked down at Kira, who scowled at him. ::We can work with this.::

::Shall I contact the Mailmen?::

::Oh yes indeed. And Mr. Gould, if you would. We have an opportunity here, and I plan on making the most of it.:: Starscream released Kira straightening up and scowling fiercely.

"Especially before that fragging imposter!" He stomped off toward the basement, leaving Kira standing next to the still stuck Skywarp. She stared after him, blank as Thundercracker pulled on his lodged brother.

"I have no idea what is going on."

How am I doing with character development? It's the hardest area for me, so I want to make sure I'm doing okay. Let me know if I'm messing anything up royally, alright?

I think I might make the next chapter a THOUGHTS chapter. It's been a bit since we heard from Starscream, right?

And from Henry…
